Very friendly service, and the food and the digestion were top-notch. Highly recommended. Many thanks from the two Mainzers.

One of our favorite restaurants for years. The best fried potatoes, the incredibly delicious aspic (our tip: Greschbach). And when someone at the next table eats half a chicken, I always make a point of ordering it again 😁 Simply delicious! And very good apple spritzer! And a huge selection of very good schnapps.

We had a superbly dressed salad, buttery tender liver with a wonderful sauce, and fantastic Brägele (a kind of pork belly). Excellent value for money. The host was very friendly. We were completely satisfied and will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, I have to correct my review: the unfriendliest host in the entire Kaiserstuhl. We were there on a Monday evening around 6 p.m. and were rudely turned away even though there were free tables. When we asked if we could go on Tuesday, we were just as quick to say everything was reserved and goodbye. See you there, never again. Great liver and roast pork, nice host. 1a

Was here today, super top-notch, top quality, everything was great, I'll definitely be back! We'll forgo any newfangled gimmicks! Top!

Unfortunately, we must have just caught a bad day...our food came quickly, but it was unloving, unappetizing, and lukewarm. It tasted like a bad microwaved ready meal. The owner is super friendly, and the inn is quaint and beautiful.

Like sitting down at your grandma's for an old-fashioned delicious meal. At first you think "Where have I ended up". But as soon as the host arrives with a jug of local wine and 30 centimeter high white beers all worries are gone. Those lost worries then made way for a wonderfully fresh plate of tasty salad. The main course was also generous in portion and served with a warm German smile. Unfortunately we were not able to try dessert, but it would have been delicious without a doubt. 5/5!

A pearl of a village restaurant, not for Chicimikis. In-house distillery, inexpensive. Also a treasure in 2024!

When I'm here from Hamburg, I always go to the inn and the home-made ones are sooooo delicious

A very quaint little restaurant run by the owner couple. Clear menu with very tasty dishes. Good, tasty wines, etc. . from local winemakers. See review of Weingut Pracht. Good price/performance, would like to come back.

We found this place by chance and it was a truly pleasant discovery. Excellent food, generous portions and the gentleman who welcomed us (I think he was the owner) was lovely. We were welcomed with kindness and friendliness, and in addition to letting us try some delicious dishes, he recommended places to visit in the area. Highly recommended!!!! And we will definitely return during our next visit here!

I had a fried chicken in this restaurant. Large portion of chicken and French fries 🙂🙂It's really good. I highly recommend this place for food and drinks . Book as well in advance coz they also get fully booked easy .

Sehr netter Wirt und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Jägerschnitzel war super zart.

Es ist jedesmal ein wunderbares Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant bedient zu werden. Keine große Wartezeiten und hervorragende Qualität. Insbesondere die Leber und Greschbach Sulz ganz zu schweigen von den leckeren Hähnchen.

Sehr uriges Gaststätte. Sulz lecker, wie man es sich wünscht, gutes Angebot an Getränken. Die Schnapsauswahl großartig und günstig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder (reservieren sollte man auf jeden Fall).

Grandios urige und original badische Küche mit sehr leckeren Salaten, wie früher von Oma gemacht! Beste Leberle aus frischer Schlachtung sauer oder geröstet mit superfeinen Brägele - oder ein Klassiker wie Jägerschnitzel mit Champignon-Pfifferling Rahmsauce und Spätzle... Einfach nur empfehlenswert.

Montag geöffnet! Kurzfristige Anfrage und ich konnte einen Sechsertisch buchen. Die Leberle sind Spitze.

Authentische heimische Küche, die zu jeder Jahreszeit zu empfehlen ist. Nach dem Essen empfiehlt sich noch ein selbst gebrannter Schnaps vom Herrn des Hauses;)

Kleines gemütliches Restaurant mit lokalen Speisen.

Empfehlung: Sulzsalat, Wurstsalat, halbe Hähnchen. Und absolute Empfehlung: Sulz "Greschbach" mit den besten Bratkartoffeln. Sehr gute Weine, edle Brände und leckerer Natur-Apfelsaft aus Königschaffhausen!

Für die Freunde bodenständiger und ehrlicher Küche ein muss. Ein Wirt wie aus dem Bilderbuch. er wirkt vielleicht etwas "brudlig" und eher wortkarg, doch recht sympathisch und stets um die Gäste bemüht. Bessere Leberli gibt es kaum, höchstens gleich gut. Und zum Nachtisch einer der hervorragenden prämierten selbstgemachten Brände. Wirklich ein echter Geheimtipp!
