Aesthetically very nice and the food is good too.

We had a family dinner there with 14 people and sat in the beer garden. We received a very friendly welcome at reception and were shown to our seats. Our drinks arrived quickly – including delicious homemade lemonade. The pictures were very helpful when looking at the menu and the food selection. And what can we say? It looks exactly like the picture on the menu. The taste is hard to beat – everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We'd definitely be happy to come back.

You get a bit stressed by the service as you only have a limited stay but otherwise a very nice ambience both outside and inside

As an Asian, I'm often skeptical when it comes to Asian food in Germany – but Laterne completely delighted me! The food was not only incredibly delicious, but also absolutely authentic. From the very first bite, you almost feel like you're in Asia – not only the taste, but also the lovingly designed interior and the spacious outdoor area contribute to this. Here, you can truly relax and enjoy yourself. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The service was quick and attentive without being intrusive. The dishes are also a real eye-catcher – everything is beautifully presented. I would particularly like to highlight the selection of dishes that you won't find at every Asian restaurant. The deep-fried butter crab was a real highlight, and the pho with rib bones is simply delicious! The selected sauces harmonized perfectly with the dishes and rounded out the taste experience. I can recommend Laterne to anyone looking for authentic Asian cuisine in a beautiful setting – whether you're a connoisseur or just curious. I'll definitely be back!

A very well-run restaurant with a good selection of dishes, where you can appreciate the excellent cuisine and the positive service of the young team. The only drawback is the high noise level during peak times. We'd be happy to come back. 👍

It's a shame when you collect good Google reviews by offering guests a free gift (displayed on the tables). The ambiance is nice, the service was only partially friendly (not everyone makes you feel welcome – with their facial expressions). Drinks and food arrived quickly, the food was okay, but nothing that would make me come back. The fried rice noodles weren't really cooked, and the flavor could have been more intense. Portion sizes are good, and the price/performance ratio is definitely good! Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive when it came to empty glasses (we would have liked to order more). You're not really noticed after you've finished your meal. Perhaps it was also because the staff wanted to go on their afternoon break (just before 2:30). It was a nice experience, but you can find more authentic and better Asian cuisine in the region.

The "Tuesday Sandwich-Free Club" with four couples visited the restaurant for dinner. The food was very good – the sushi, in particular, is highly recommended. The service was good, but there are some areas for improvement. I highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of Asian cuisine.

The best Vietnamese restaurant we've been to! The staff is very friendly, attentive, and quick. The menu is great; since we weren't familiar with all the dishes, it was helpful that the descriptions were accompanied by pictures. The ambiance is lovely. We started with several appetizers, which were lovingly prepared and delicious! As for the main courses, the salad was crisp, everything was freshly prepared, the meat was excellent, the noodles, the rice... I have no complaints. The homemade drinks were incredibly delicious. It tasted very good! Good value for money. We would definitely come back next time we're on vacation in Pirna and the surrounding area!

An interesting Asian restaurant near Dresden. I was very surprised that the restaurant was completely full, even though it's located outside of town and only accessible by car. The modern design is really pretty and inviting. The service was very good—each table has a dice you can press to summon a waiter. I ordered gyoza, fried shrimp, and sashimi. I was particularly pleased with the sashimi. I especially liked the non-alcoholic cocktail menu. I ordered a cherry cocktail, which not only looked great but was also very tasty.

Excellent, authentic food – a lovely blend of Vietnamese and high-quality sushi. Great ambiance, clean inside, and a romantic beer garden outside. Highly recommended!

The food always had a little something extra to make the experience perfect. The fried king prawns, the steaming dry ice, or the salad garnish. If you don't overlook every detail, you can have a very pleasant evening. The lighting isn't too dim, yet it still creates a cozy atmosphere. I appreciated the lack of typical Asian decor items. The staff was friendly and tried to fulfill all our wishes. Unfortunately, we had to wait a bit too long for our main course. My drink was served in a carafe with a straw that was too short. It must have been funny to see me squeezing my mouth into it. But everyone else had suitable glasses; perhaps they were just out of all my glasses. Recommendation for a relaxed evening.

Absolutely no comparison to the restaurant in town. Absolutely fast, pleasant, and friendly service. Of course, if the restaurant is full, I just have to wait a few minutes longer. In return, you get an appetizer. The food is plentiful, and tastes like you're on vacation! By that, I mean authentic cuisine. We thank you for the friendly service, for an absolutely wonderful anniversary (10th wedding anniversary), and for the wonderful surprise at the end. We'd love to come back.

The food is very tasty, although the plated dishes could have been a bit hotter. Because the plates are large and not preheated, the food cools down quite quickly.

We were there yesterday with a group of 10 people. The appearance and taste of the food and drinks were absolutely stunning. Super delicious and a feast for the eyes. My only minor criticism is that the service could have asked for drinks more often later in the evening. Otherwise, everything was great. We'd be happy to come back.

We went to Lantern today for a birthday. We were warmly greeted at the entrance and escorted straight to our table, which we had reserved in advance. A few minutes later our orders were taken. It didn't take long until the first drinks and food were served. The atmosphere was very nice and we felt comfortable.

Everything we ordered was delicious. The lemonades and cocktails were excellent!! From the moment you enter the restaurant you are transported 🤩 the atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is super attentive and friendly. Smiling ☺️ They have ample parking and very clean bathrooms.

We came spontaneously on the Easter weekend and were lucky to get a place. The service was super fast and friendly, and the food also came very quickly. We had pho and duck. Both tasted very good, but both the duck and the beef in the Pho were a little tough, something we've had better in other restaurants. Therefore minimal deduction. Still a great visit, highly recommended!

We weren't particularly impressed with the taste. Food was okay. In our opinion, the rice from the sushi was too watery and there was also too much sauce on the sushi. You sit quite tightly.

Wonderful. We were here for the umpteenth time. The food tastes delicious, the team is totally motivated. They are wonderful young people. At the weekend you hardly have a chance without a reservation. There are enough parking spaces, directly on the street and also in the yard behind it.

Nice staff and as a long-time sushi lover and very critical hobby chef, I can say: The best sushi, in terms of quality and appearance, that I have been able to eat in the last 10 years. It definitely brought tears to my eyes because of the joy. Sounds exaggerated, but I can actually judge it that way. If you're nearby and love sushi, you should definitely eat here!
