We were very impressed by the food and the ambience. Also very friendly service. We'd love to come back.

I loved it! The evening was perfect. Delicious dishes for every taste, colorful cocktails, the service was funny and brought appetizers and drinks very quickly. The ambience impresses with numerous lanterns and tree decorations. Just great; new favorite restaurant!

We ate there for the first time about two weeks ago, we had a starter, main course and dessert and the food was really delicious. After we finished dessert, I noticed something in the bottle of soy sauce that we ate from, of course, that was full of dead fruit flies! I informed the waiter about this and he apologized. When I paid I expected some concession, drinks or dessert on the house or something, to our surprise there was: nothing.. I informed the waiter about the discovery and said that of course it had a bad aftertaste and that we would have liked some goodwill and accommodation... he then just said that he couldn't do anything... so it went back and forth for a bit until... we simply gave up and paid the bill normally. So as good as the food was, after this discovery & the subsequent service we wouldn't recommend it & unfortunately wouldn't visit it again

Nothing to complain about. Beautiful decor and very attentive service. One of my highlights remains the raspberry dip that is served with the baked avocado and pear. It's also a good place to have a meal with the family, there's plenty of space and it's not too noisy, either from the music or from the lack of hearing.

The food was great, the portions were so big that we couldn't finish everything. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed with the service. After the plates were cleared away, none of the service staff came back. So that we could pay I had to go to the counter and let them know.

The Hanami is the former Xich Lo on Barmbeker Straße. This makes one problem clear: unless it's the summer holiday season, you can't sit outside here. The constant street noise is annoying and disrupts communication with the service. Since the service people don't speak German very well, there are misunderstandings here and there. The service is very friendly, but takes time - especially when it's full, of course. The dishes are named humorously on the menu and described in an understandable way. The starters were delicious, the various noodle dishes are also delicious, but don't particularly stand out from other Vietnamese restaurants. The hot pot for this is great and something special – in terms of taste and as an event. The cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks are delicious. The furnishings are spacious and rustic. But rather too warm inside on warm days.

Friendly service, fast service, good selection of food and drinks, but the taste of everything is very tailored to the German palate.

I recently tried sushi at this restaurant, but unfortunately my experience was mixed. The algae had an unusually tough consistency, which significantly affected the enjoyment. In addition, the sushi rice was surprisingly warm and tasted a bit bland, which didn't help the overall experience either. Overall, the visit was underwhelming and I wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant.

Super leckeres Essen...tolles Ambiente und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Wenn wir wieder mal in Hamburg sind...dann gehen wir sehr gerne noch einmal hin.

Children's wishes were not taken into account, e.g. the fried noodles were not served as requested, there is no Eos, only mochi ice cream, which is rather unsuitable for children. A pity. .

The selection is enormous. The dishes are tasty, sometimes a bit too spicy (salty), for example. the beef. The service is very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the restaurant has no ambience at all. The terrace is on the main street. So it's not comfortable to sit there. Unfortunately it's not comfortable inside either. Dark wooden tables and chairs, dark walls, hardly any (day) light. This all seems very bleak...

It was a very nice evening, delicious food, the only thing that could have been a little more spicy was the curry, but that's a matter of taste. The service was very accommodating.

Mega delicious food and drinks. Lots of vegan dishes to choose from! We particularly recommend the miso eggplant and the tofu bowl as well as the homemade non-alcoholic iced tea cocktails. Only the service was a bit slow, but otherwise everything was great.

The moment you enter you enter a different world. A guest room, decorated with great attention to detail, that invites you to enjoy and linger. The service is courteous, friendly and quick, the food is artfully arranged, the taste is interesting and delicious. The variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes is particularly rare. As a bedside table there was the first mochi and matcha ice cream of my life, it won't be the last. We can highly recommend the restaurant as a couple, but also with friends, and we are really looking forward to our next visit after having a hard time deciding today.

We had a large selection of starters, all of which were delicious. The main courses were all very good, the ingredients were all fresh and the portions were large. The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but that quickly went away and they were also very friendly...always happy!

The service was good, the terrace outside was very enjoyable and the food was delicious. It was the first time I used a tablet as a menu, which I thought was a nice feature. (This way depending on how good you can still read you can zoom in or out and don’t need reading glasses 🤓). The portion sizes were great! Looked bigger than on the review pictures I saw, which is bc the plates are so huge and then the food on it looks tiny on the picture. We had number 22 and twice number 25. Since with meat once with tofu. We all really enjoyed the food. It’s not spicy, so don’t be afraid to order something with the chili teriyaki sauce 😊 I will definitely come back!!

Die 3x Sushi ebenso, Mein japanisches Gericht mit kross paniertem Huhnchen ertrank ein wenig in einer dicklichen und geschmacksneutralen Sauce. Nicht so doll. Zudem war der Service nicht so aufmerksam. Vom Tresen/der Bar war unser Tisch leider nicht zu sehen. Inklusive 3 Prossecco, 1Cocktail, 2 Bier, 1 große Flasche Wasser und einem Tee € 175 mit Trinkgeld

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine, and also very authentic dishes. I often ate here at the previous restaurant, but here at the new operator I can only praise the cuisine! I had number 34, Meat You There. A 200 g beef fillet, with a skewer of prawns and various vegetables in a ginger, garlic soy sauce. There was also a Vietnamese roll, which was great for dipping the sauce into and eating it up. The whole thing is served on a hot iron pot. The menu was digital, a tablet with the electronic menu was handed to me. Friendly service, good portions and fair prices. It's nice that you can sit outside and inside, a clear recommendation to go. !

I had dinner there with my friends. We are from Leipzig and were very happy to get a table on Sunday evening. The food was very tasty and the service was also very friendly and attentive. My personal favorite was the very, very tasty nokcha latte! Next time we are in Hamburg we will definitely come back!☺️

I was there for lunch and was really impressed! The lunch menu was very clear, but the two dishes we were able to try were excellent! Price/performance is really beyond any doubt. For less than €20 it was really awesome!

We ate a very tasty 3-course meal. Everything was beautifully presented and we were able to enjoy the meal in peace. The employees were generally friendly and competent. There is no reason for me to even think about deducting a star. We'd love to come back.

We wanted to try something new and decided on the Hanami. We received a very friendly welcome and were served just as friendly throughout the evening. About the food: It was really delicious. First we had the fried tofu skewers and the scallops, then for the main course we had the mango salad with chicken (actually a starter, but it's not a small portion) and the meat you there. My wife thought her scallops and salad were great, and I can also only recommend the skewers and the meat you there. We will be back!

Absolutely fantastic experience dining at Hanami. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. I've never eaten better pho. The meat dishes are of top quality and prepared to perfection. Everything is perfectly seasoned and the service leaves nothing to be desired. All in all I was very satisfied.

Hands down the best Asian Fusion Restaurant in Hamburg! Traditional authentic Vietnamese street food taken to the next level of taste and presentation. We had beef steaks, duck breast and pho, which were all juicy and delicious. The ambient was cozy filled with friendly staffs. Sehr gute Preis-Leistung.

Food was average. The lukewarm rice noodles came ice cold, the spring rolls that were actually hot came lukewarm (the shop was not very busy). The ginger tea tasted like mint. The “menu” is available as a PDF on a smudged tablet. Here design was more important than usability, the information was sparse. Which wouldn't have been a problem if the staff spoke German and you could have asked. Ingredients in the food that were not mentioned on the menu were problematic for allergy sufferers (references to allergens were missing on the menu, as were references to spiciness). Cleanliness was generally limited (photo from the wall at our table).

Good selection of vegan dishes, which are specifically shown on the menu. The interior is tastefully furnished/decorated. The indoor area is relatively large and also suitable for groups. A very nicely decorated restaurant. Very friendly service. The food was super delicious.

The food was again good, but the service performed pretty poorly. Errors in the order were corrected, but we sat for ages without drinks after the initial supply. I went to the counter four times to point us out. Once they apologized and said that they understood we wanted the bill. But that didn't come either, so it was more of a bad excuse. Even after apologizing, I ordered the bill at the counter even though it wasn't really full anymore. Not enough for the price.

Great food, very amusing menu and exceptional ambience. And then there were the drinks! Simply delicious.

The food is excellent, but we waited an hour for it.

We had to wait 10 minutes before we could order something. After 15 minutes the wrong drinks came, then after another 15 minutes the right drinks with food. The "It's a Bao Time" burger came in fried bread and had nothing to do with the Vietnamese bao banhs that you know and that I would have expected. The whole thing was then covered with tons of different sauces that were far too flavorful (barbecue, sweet and sour,...?), which reminded me of a visit to Burger King. Unfortunately, the service wasn't a brilliant performance either; you always had to actively grab someone in order to be noticed. Therefore, only with a blind eye two stars.

Die Kombinationen sind mal was anderes und super aufeinander abgestimmt. Das Essen kam auch relativ zügig nach der Bestellung. Das Personal ist sehr nett und rücksichtsvoll gewesen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder!

Delicious Vietnamese food. The restaurant is very lavishly decorated and has a comprehensive selection of Vietnamese dishes. Personally, the pho was a bit too oniony for me and the broth was a bit different than what I'm used to - but it was still delicious. The service is very nice, but you should make a reservation - it gets pretty crowded in the evenings.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und auf den Punkt gegart. Das Gemüse sehr knackig. Ambiente: Der Sakura-Baum ist eine Augenweide und das restliche Interieur absolut passend und stimmig. Leider war das Personal nicht so bemüht mehr zu verkaufen bzw. Aufmerksamkeit zu schenken. Wir mussten auf uns aufmerksam machen. Allerdings war es gut gefüllt und ich habe nur 3 Servicekräfte entdecken können. Aber wenn sie am Tisch waren, immer freundlich und mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Immer lecker, immer freundlich. Durch den Umbau ist das Restaurant nochmals schöner geworden. Die breite Auswahl an veganen Gerichten ist ebenfalls super. Rundum empfehlenswert!

I came yesterday evening after a friend recommended Hanami to me. It is the best sushi I ever had. And I have eaten a lot of it over the past few years :). I cannot recommend this enough. The staff was very nice and polite. the food was amazing and I first thought it was pricey but then when I saw the portions ands tasted the quality I quickly changed my mind. I will definitely come to hanami more often and discover new dishes.

Wer lecker essen möchte also richtig gutes essen....und dabei u gestört sein möchte in einem schönen Ambiente empfehle ich auf jeden fall 100% einmal dort vorbei zu schauen Preis Leistungsverhältnis einfach unschlagbar!!!!
