We had the lamb with white beans, a gyro platter, bean soup, calamari, and stuffed peppers as an appetizer. The service was fast, atmosphere laid back, and everything was very tasty. They also served complimentary dessert.

We're from Freudenstadt, and this is our favorite Greek restaurant! The food is simply delicious!

Everything was great, very tasty and a lovely atmosphere!!!

Plenty of space, a wide selection, and very tasty and appealing dishes—including meatless options—for both small and large appetites. Fantastic homemade bread (and side dishes). A friendly, young, and professional team, prompt service, and a convenient location near the main train station. Reservations are recommended on weekends.

We were very pleased with the food. It tasted great, and the staff was on the ball. Be sure to reserve a table.

There is no English menu. Most of the crew don't speak English, if you don't speak German, you can get the wrong food.

Highly recommended if you want Greek food at a good price. The dishes were excellently prepared and we enjoyed them immensely, and the portions were more than sufficient. The ambiance was very cozy and tasteful. The service staff was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return on our next visit to Freudenstadt.

The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. There are even things for children, and the staff is patient and always smiling! Free parking is available in front of the restaurant or nearby. Unfortunately, we're rarely lucky enough to be able to order to take home because they're usually so busy that they can't manage to accommodate more. But that speaks volumes about the delicious food!

Greek cuisine. The menu is far too large. They can't prepare everything fresh. Service is only average. They don't accept credit cards. You only find out when you pay. With cashless payments, that's completely unacceptable. It could be embarrassing. It's an absolute no-go.

A very, very good Greek restaurant. The food is fantastic. The ambiance is perfect. We've been here several times with children, and the outdoor area is also great. There's a small play area for children.

So, we failed in our two attempts to pick up and order something here. First, a few key facts to help you understand the less than positive review. - Opening hours are until 11 p.m. - The website advertises that you can order for pickup. 1st attempt: Failed because the restaurant was too busy. Basically, that's commendable. However, it wasn't great for us, as we were a group of six (two of whom were children) so we obviously checked what we wanted to eat beforehand. The website doesn't say anything about checking whether pickup is possible depending on the situation. 2nd attempt: At 9:30 p.m., I wanted to order a portion for myself. Then I was told that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. It's understandable that the kitchen isn't open continuously until 11 p.m. However, I think 1.5 hours before the restaurant closes is a bit early. I'll think about whether I'll make a third attempt at some point, and then maybe get promoted again.

Such a beautifully presented platter. Eating here is truly a pleasure. And, of course, it was incredibly delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Waren an Ostern mit der 11 Köpfigen Familie hier und es war alles rundum perfekt. Essen super, Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz viel Betrieb hat alles gepasst und wir waren alle satt und glücklich. Preis Leistung passt hier auf jeden Fall auch. Das Akropolis ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen und wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.

you might consider reserving a table. its an affordable restaurant with great service. the toilets are fine, the design of the restaurant is nice and not the usual greek design. its tidy but a bit tightly packed. i had the grilled salmon which was nicely grilled with little seasoning. which in turn gives way for the flavours of the salmon. i didnt like the lemon, the beans were too salty, the rice i found too sticky and slightly too long cooked. but the cocktail was great and they deserve an above average tip as well as a good review!

Today we had a very good meal as a family, three adults and two children. We can only recommend the restaurant. We had fish dishes and meat dishes. Everything was excellent. Price/performance completely satisfactory. The only “complaint at a high level” for me personally was the table/seating; seems a bit cramped; for lunch today as it wasn't busy it wasn't overloaded.

There were seven of us in the restaurant and ordered the large platter for four, spaghetti Bolognese, steak and a grilled plate - simply outstanding! The selection was varied, the quality of the food was first class, and there was more than enough for everyone. What struck us particularly positively was how attentive our individual wishes were. Whether it was small changes to the side dishes or special preferences - everything was implemented in a friendly and problem-free manner. The ambience was very nice, stylish but still cozy. You could chat in peace and enjoy the evening. The service was attentive, warm and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. Overall, a thoroughly successful evening. You can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here - both in the kitchen and in the service. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant was very nicely decorated, the service was very friendly and accommodating, empty plates were always cleared away promptly and quietly. Unfortunately, the food disappointed us. The starter plate had hardly any taste, as did the Ritzina. The lamb chops were almost all fat and bones, even though I know lamb chops are like that, there was clearly too little meat, even compared to previous lamb chops. For the atmosphere they would have needed some older Greek songs, a little too modern for me. Maybe we'll give the restaurant a second chance and maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

We sat in the idyllic beer garden. The food was excellent and the service was very good. It felt like a little vacation.

Reservation required... because the three of us had no luck on the first evening... rarely did we get such a nice "basket". On the second evening we were finally able to have dinner here with a reservation. It was worth it. Everyone found what they were looking for in the well-equipped menu. My son had breaded feta cheese with large fries. He let me try...very delicious. My wife ate a large Greek farmer's salad. She would have liked a bit of leaf lettuce in it (but it wasn't on the menu 😉). My platter - see photo - was also very tasty. Gyros were crispy, where you could still see the layers - the skewers were thin and very tender and the minced meat was well seasoned. The obligatory ouzo was mild and also very tasty 😋 The highlight was the red rose for my wife (International Women's Day or other celebration). Service very friendly. Everything is great!

We got a place without a reservation, but a reservation is still recommended. The interior is beautifully designed, completely in Greek style. We were served quickly. -Grointed Gyros with Metaxa Sauce– The meat was a bit tough but seasoned well. The rice was a bit overcooked and tasteless. Rating: 3 out of 5 - Bifteki Skara, filled with feta – delicious and well filled. However, the rice was again overcooked and tasteless. Rating: 4 out of 5 - Schnitzel with gravy and garlic fried potatoes – excellent and very tasty Rating: 5 out of 5 A good restaurant – my recommendation!

Essen war sehr gut, es war schnell sehr gefüllt mit Gästen und das allerbeste war, dass wir uns Besteck ausleihen durften, da wir im Hotel im Gebäude untergebracht waren und mein Kind kaum etwas essen konnte, weil ihr Zahn kurz vorm raus fallen war. Gab auch für mein Kind einen „Kinderachnaps“ (Sprite) und hinterher einen Nachtisch für uns.

She makes sure that you as a guest feel completely comfortable and her service is simply first class! The food is an absolute delight! Fresh, authentic and full of flavor! From delicious gyros to perfectly seasoned souvlaki to the best Greek specialties - everything is prepared with love. And the desserts… simply to die for! We have rarely been to such a good Greek restaurant! The meat was super tender, the portion size was very good and the price was absolutely great! Service super friendly! We can only recommend it!

Long wait until the waiter came and he was also quite unfriendly. Hair was in the food and there was no apology…. Let alone a new dish. Food was dry and vegetables were canned. Quite expensive for the price

acropolis The Greek restaurant is located on the edge of the city center in Freudenstadt. It is a nicely decorated restaurant, despite its size it is cozy. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food was good. There are parking spaces behind the restaurant.

So if I get such a ridiculous amount of rice and overcooked cans of beans for €23 per dish then I don't know what's good about it. Food was bland and completely unseasoned. Mussels and scampi as well as the fish were just dry and bland. Only the salmon was good. Not even dressing on the salad.

There were 4 of us. The ambience, the service was very disorganized and the food was poor. I wouldn't go there anymore because it doesn't have much to do with Greek. The starter was the only thing that tasted good. The salad was bland and had too much salt. The main course looked exactly like the picture and didn't taste good. The service staff cannot handle criticism and quickly become aggressive. You should send Frank Rosin there because it is tasteless and unfriendly. In the former restaurant in Baiersbronn, the food was always very, very good and the service put a lot of passion into it. It's a shame that this restaurant has closed forever. Personally, I won't eat there again and won't recommend it to anyone. This has absolutely nothing to do with Greek, the only thing that counts is sales and that is reflected one to one.
