Wow, that was good. We went there spontaneously and had a great experience. Really delicious food and very nice service. We'll be back!

Had dinner there for the first time today. Food is great and everything is made fresh. Drinks were served quickly as was the food. Service is also great and very friendly. Why I can only give three points is the first point: there are no children's meals on the menu, which looks like it was cut out crookedly by a kindergarten child and stuck onto a piece of cardboard and the second point is that there are no high chairs for children. Many people have this simple chair from Ikea that costs €19, so buying three chairs doesn't hurt anyone. Not having one is simply not possible these days. I think that's why no one with small children goes there a second time, and I don't either, because you can't let a 16-month-old child sit at the table and you don't want to let them eat in a stroller. It even seems to me that people don't want to have smaller children there.

It was over an hour later before our drinks were on the table. After we ordered everything was okay, the food is really good and you have a great seat. It is just not recommended to get starters, it is too expensive for that.

I don't know where the great reviews come from or what's going on today, but we had to wait 45 minutes until we could order a drink and another 15 minutes until it came. Unfortunately, we also ordered food with the drinks, which came at the same time . The food tasted really good

Owners of the restaurant are married couple. And this is seen in the service and food! The food is very delicious and worth it's rice. Also the staff(in our case wife itself), is very kind. I would absolutly reccomend this restaurant if youbare at least in 100km area around. Worth driving!

We spontaneously wanted to eat there. Although there were many free tables inside and one outside was just becoming free, they didn't want us as guests. A pity!

We ate there three times during our vacation with our dog (Meilo)! Service was very accommodating and friendly and despite the owner handling the entire service alone, it was perfectly organized 👍 Big compliments to the kitchen, we've rarely eaten so well, an absolute highlight of the Kaiserschmarren top !!!The black risotto with octopus is also highly recommended. Went there spontaneously today at the end of a long day of vacation. The only way I can describe it is “WOW”!!! Incredibly good! Truly the best fried potatoes I have ever eaten. Overall the taste was great! We were really excited! Also super friendly. 10 out of 5 stars from us.

We spontaneously went for dinner at Maximilians and were more than pleasantly surprised. The food impresses with its high quality and good craftsmanship. The waitress was extremely nice and quick. Our children were also enthusiastic (about the schnitzel with fried potatoes). For me it was the best sea bass I've ever had - simply outstanding! Only the terrace could be made a little nicer. Nevertheless, keep it up and we'll be back in a year.

We were in Germany and Austria with a couple of friends, on a car tour in the Chiemsee and Salzburg area. We stayed at Inzel as a starting point. Lucky for us, Maximilian happened to be next door to our guest house. We had the best food of our entire stay, obviously prepared with deep knowledge and lots of love by the chef. The entire staff consists of him and his young wife who greet and serve the guests. We highly recommend that you trust their recommendations for cooked meat dishes that are a delight to the palate and reveal a deep knowledge of the art of cooking and a choice of quality products. Order the cheeks if available, the meat melts in your mouth. Not to be overlooked is the cozy and pleasant atmosphere of the place, with a beautiful design, enough distance between the tables, and pleasant relaxing music. Be patient, wait calmly for the food, with a drink or a good beer in hand, and you won't be disappointed. Thank you dear Maximilian's, next time I promise not to order schnitzels😂

Unfortunately, just a disappointment. The service advertised the food as “homemade like grandma’s.” The pancake soup consisted of 4 pancakes in a bland beef broth and the strukles were just tasteless and drowned in butter. Maybe not our taste or we know it differently from our grandma. After we explained why we didn't eat, we were referred to the "homemade" and our criticism was dismissed as baseless.

Adrian and Mledan are so attentive and welcoming, and he is a very good chef. We recommend it highly.

If you are looking for a good restaurant in the small holiday town of Inzell, you MUST visit Maximilian’s. You will receive an incredibly warm and friendly welcome, the whole ambience radiates a lot of warmth and soothing calm. The food is simply fantastic, you immediately notice that the chef actually prepares everything freshly and is extremely positively creative. The restaurant is really great and highly recommended! Very friendly service, great, exceptionally good food at fair prices, what more could you want?! We definitely have a new favorite restaurant in Inzell and will be visiting there very often. We ate there twice because we were very impressed the first time. The food actually corresponds to a higher level of “cuisine” and was super tasty from starter to dessert. The service is also great, takes a lot of time and is very friendly. The chef also came out of the kitchen and discussed individual dishes, each with a personal touch. The wine was also great. So: urgent recommendation!

Hervorragend, angefangen bei der Begrüßung und der liebevollen Gestaltung der Karte sowie dem sehr netten und aufmerksamen Service. Was dann aus der Küche kommt passt exakt zu dem bis hierher gewonnenen Eindruck. Wir waren während eines einwöchigen Aufenthalts zweimal dort essen und werden vermutlich am letzten Abend ein drittes Mal dort essen. Die kleine aber feine Karte, die zusätzlichen Saison-Empfehlungen oder die Tagesempfehlung bieten ausreichende Möglichkeit etwas anderes leckeres zu finden.

Highly recommended, everything is handmade and appetizingly prepared. You two are doing a great job, your food makes the taste buds on your tongue dance with joy. Your caramelized version of Kaiserschmarrn is awesome and the beef cheeks melted in your mouth with tenderness. Keep it up and stay on your path. When we are back in Inzell, we will definitely see each other again.

We had fish with very, very tasty asparagus cream soup. The atmosphere is great and every dish is lovingly decorated and prepared. Everything was exceptional and very to very good. We felt very comfortable here and would come back at any time.

Keine eindeutigen Angaben bzgl. der Inhalte/Zutaten der Gerichte. Als Vegetarier, kriegt man Speck in den Bratkartoffeln serviert. Ohne, dass es im Menü angegeben wurde oder es einen mündlichen Hinweis gab. Auf Nachfragen, reagierte die Bedienung mit mangelndem Verständnis: "Bratkartoffeln seien nie vegetarisch, weil IMMER Speck darin sei". Und das war erst der Beginn der Diskussion. Eine kurze Entschuldigung und ein respektvoller Ton hätten die Sache schnell wieder beendet. Stattdessen war die Reaktion auf den Hinweis meinerseits so unverschämt und passiv aggressiv, dass ich mich ernsthaft frage, wie so ein Mensch überhaupt auf zahlende Gäste losgelassen werden kann. So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt.

We are very happy with the food. The ambience is very nice, lots of wood and piano music in the background. The cook came to the table and checked. Service was simply great and accommodating. I would eat there again at any time. Only recommended.

Kaiserschmarrn was quite good, but significantly too expensive. Unfortunately, €30 for an average Schitzel is not justified either. The portions weren't particularly large either. So if you have too much money, this restaurant is the right choice.

Auf der Suche nach einem guten Abendessen, betraten wir rein zufällig das Maximilian‘s! …und haben es nicht bereut!! Im Gegenteil: Wir kamen jeden Abend wieder! Sei es die äußerst freundliche Bedienung oder das ausgezeichnete Essen! Wir habe es genossen! Die Karte ist klein, aber fein! Es gab besondere Tagesgerichte wie Hühnerfilet auf Karottenpüree mit Marsala-Maronensoße (Siehe Foto) oder saisonbedingt einen exzellenten Glühwein: Nicht zu süß, aber mit herrlichem Orangenaroma und ohne säuerlichen Abgang! Auch die anderen Gerichte zeugen von Kreativität und Kochkunst: Zu empfehlen sind die panierten Pfannkuchen mit Hähnchenfüllung und Sour Creme. Auch das Hirschgulasch mit Spinatknödeln und Rotkraut oder die Schwarze Pasta mit Garnelen und Maronen schmeckten vorzüglich! Auch für‘s Auge sind die Kreationen hergerichtet! Selbst das Geschirr passt zur Speise! Besonders haben uns die verschließbaren Glühweintassen gefallen - der Glühwein blieb lange heiß! Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Inzell kehren wir auf jeden Fall ins Maximilian‘s ein!

Es roch etwas feucht im Restaurant. Der Seevice war erstklassig und das Essen schmeckte gut. Leider kein Frankenwein auf der Karte. Das ist in Bayern eigentlich Pflicht. Hierfür gibt es Abzug und wir hoffen das ändert sich bis zum nächsten Besuch

Leckere, kreative und ehrliche Küche. Der Koch kommt öfters selbst vorbei. Sehr nette Bedienung und angenehme Atmosphäre mit Jazzmusik vom Band. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut. Wir waren in einer Woche dreimal hier.

Ein wirklich schönes Ambiente mit gemütlichem, aber trotzdem nicht altbackenem Interieur und angenehmer Klaviermusik (vom Band). Eine sehr aufmerksame und menschlich zugewandte, sympathische Bedienung. Wirklich exzellente Vorspeisensuppen und leckere, kreativ angerichtete Hauptgerichte. Was soll ich anderes tun, als da direkt 5 Sterne dazulassen? Zwei Mal waren wir hier zu Gast und wenn wir wieder einmal in der Nähe sind, kommen wir ganz sicher erneut vorbei.

Fantastisch! Wir waren noch nie in einem so tollen Restaurant gewesen. Die Bedienung war trotz vollem Betrieb sehr aufmerksam, professionell und herzlich. Das Essen war super lecker, der Preis mehr als angemessen, fast noch unter dem Wert, muss man im Nachhinein sagen. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich, etwas abseits vom großen Trubel. Wir sind leider erst am letzten Urlaubstag dort gewesen. Schade, sonst hätten wir wahrscheinlich jeden Tag dort gegessen. Die Familie gibt sich wahnsinnig große Mühe und legt Wert auf Details. Sogar der Hund bekam eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit. Wir wünschen dem "frisch gebackenem" Familienbetrieb alles Gute und bedanken uns recht herzlich für diesen tollen letzten Abend.

Das essen war unfassbar lecker und perfekt auf den Punkt. Wir haben selten so gut gegessen - für uns zählt das Maximilians zu den besten Restaurants in der Region! Zum Abschied gab es noch einen Absacker aufs Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder, weiter so.

Wir haben um die Ecke das Hardis Hotel für eine Nacht gebucht und sind aufgrund der Bewertungen direkt in dieses Restaurant geschlendert. Es war ein absoluter Traum. Überraschend und genial. Hausgemachtes Essen, alles hat exzellent geschmeckt. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Wir haben Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachspeise bestellt. Der Kaiserschmarren war zum verlieben. 20-30 Euro pro Person ist hierfür ein schnapper. Das Ambiente war wirklich klasse. Wir kommen sehr sehr sehr gerne wieder.

Mieliśmy ogromne szczęście, że trafiliśmy w to miejsce. Zachęceni muzyka i panującym w tym miejscu spokojem oraz uroczymi widokami byliśmy niemal codziennymi gośćmi. Kuchnia nas zaskoczyła. Najlepsza jaką mieliśmy okazję do tej pory próbować. Pozostaje jedynie jeden problem, że nie mieliśmy czasu spróbować wszystkiego z menu. 😃 Zdecydowanie dla nas liczy się również atmosfera, która była super. Właściciele interesują się zdaniem gości i starają się aby wszystko było perfekcyjne. Dziękujemy za miłe rozmowy i serdeczne przyjecie. Polecamy jeśli będziecie w pobliżu Inzell. Pozdrowienia z PL🙂

Das essen und Service war hervorragend. Es gibt keinerlei Beanstandungen. Ich hab nur eine kleine Anmerkung, ich hatte den Backhändel mit Salat. Hätte ich an einem erfolgreichen Ski Tag diese Portion bekommen, wäre ich enttäuscht gewesen.
