Maximilian's Restaurant in Inzell

I asked for the allergy information card, and it was given to me without any problem. I had the Kalahari filled with shrimp and have rarely eaten so well.

High-quality food and excellent service. You feel very well looked after, yet not intrusive. Highly recommended.

On our first evening in inzell we chose this restaurant because it was very close to our hotel but the choice was more than excellent! An extensive menu and an exceptional welcome. The service is super welcoming and takes impeccable care of every guest. The good food (in particular the meat) and the family atmosphere immediately led us to book a table for the following evening, which was truly impeccable. Many thanks again to the staff for making our stay in these fantastic mountains even more unforgettable.

If you pass through Inzell, you have to come to this restaurant. Super pleasant terrace, cozy interior, very good food, and an extraordinary welcome, hard to be kinder and friendlier! I really recommend it!!!!!

I found the portions a bit small for the price. The food, however, was extremely delicious. The schnitzel was pounded very thin and was a 10/10. The fried potatoes were also excellent. I liked the salad dressing best, although the portion could have been a bit larger.

We highly recommend this restaurant. The dishes, Mediterranean cuisine, were excellent. The service was very attentive. Dogs are very welcome here.

The food and service were truly outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. Absolutely exceptional for the location. We had venison goulash and sea bass. I came in, waited for about 10 minutes for the other guests to be served, and then asked politely. I expect a friendly or at least professional answer – then a "no" is perfectly acceptable. But not such a rant. Ultimately, your smug reply actually serves as sufficient confirmation of my post.

Innerhalb einer Woche haben wir das Max… zwei Mal besucht - einmal zu viert, einmal zu zweit. Gefunden haben wir ein Lokal mit sehr netten Gastgebern, die sich hauptsächlich auf mediterrane Küche spezialisiert haben. Nichtsdestotrotz kann es auch lokale Gerichte, wie Ente oder Hirschgulasch geben. Vor- als auch Hauptspeisen waren geschmacklich sehr gut und schön präsentiert. Insbesondere die Dorade war von leckerem und festen Fleisch zu einem super Preis. Hervorzuheben ist auch das auf den Punkt gegarte Gemüse bspw. zu der sehr zarten Lammkeule. Zum Abschluss bekommen alle Gäste einen Likör oder Schnaps aufs Haus. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut.

This was our second time eating at this wonderful restaurant. The food was once again top-notch, prepared with so much love and simply delicious. The courteous, loving, and wonderful way in which each guest is treated was also unique. You really don't find something like that. Keep it up, it's not something you take for granted!!!! Enthusiasm! It was apparently a "typical Bavarian restaurant." Only upon closer inspection did the Mediterranean cuisine become apparent, but that didn't bother us. Ambience: The decor, the menu, the servings, … Everything is combined with creativity and love and carefully selected. Top-notch! Service: The lovely lady was extremely accommodating, read our requests from our lips, and described the dishes very well when we asked. It couldn't be better. Food: WOW! I've rarely eaten such good food. Of course, quality comes at a price, but you should be happy to pay it. It's definitely worth the money. It was also very nice that the chef personally collected feedback at the table. I definitely recommend the restaurant! We'd be happy to come back!

I can't remember the last time the service explained the details and intricacies of the dish to me. Why am I writing this? Because it should show the passion with which people serve and serve here. The selection of dishes is appropriate and also contains small, unusual details. The prices are a little above average, but are absolutely justified, as hospitality is practiced here and everything is very lovingly prepared. So if you really want to eat well and feel like a king, this is the place for you!!!

All around great. My partner was very hungry after a sporty day with a lot of running and asked about the size of the portions. We were told that they focus on quality rather than quantity and are happy to ask the kitchen whether the portion can be a little larger. When the food came, the portion was a little larger, the same price and completely sufficient for a grown man who was very hungry. The food was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you want huge portions at cheap prices, this is the wrong place. You focus on quality and that's great. I can absolutely recommend the Resatursnt.

Totally nice restaurant, the chef probably comes from Croatia, which is partly reflected on the menu. The service was very nice. The food was very good and there was a snap on the bill. We called at 5pm during the week and reserved a table for 6pm, that wasn't a problem.

We had a really nice evening with high-class cuisine (grilled sea bream, from which the boss kindly removed the bones, on a potato-spinach creation). We chose this restaurant because of good reviews and I can't understand that now, unfortunately it was a complete disappointment and catastrophe. We waited 20 minutes for the drinks and 55 minutes for the food. That would have been fine for good The food here was burnt but the fried potatoes tasted the same 😣schnitzel was also very, very bad and had an aftertaste 🤢So for almost €30 per portion we expected a lot better, unfortunately we were very disappointed and not full enough. I said everything directly, we won't be coming back and honestly I don't recommend it. That doesn't work at all. PURE DISASTER 👎Petrovic family. Edit!! As the owner, you also have to accept negative reviews! Everything was very tasty, we ate steak, schnitzels and squid. It's a pity that there is no children's menu, but we had a very pleasant evening. Thank you very much.

Scallops and goose, chestnut cream soup and black pasta with shrimps, all the dishes impressed us and you can taste the craftsmanship in the kitchen. It's worth taking time to eat. Everyone loved the apple and poppy seed strudel for dessert.

We chose the restaurant based on the positive reviews and went there for dinner. The Lokas is modern and yet very comfortably furnished. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to the table. Service: The owner takes care of the service alone, her husband cooks. The restaurant was quite busy, so we had to wait a little longer for service. Both for ordering, in between or for paying. Food: There is a small menu and a selection of seasonal dishes. The pumpkin soup was a bit thin, tasted ok. The cream of mushroom soup was delicious, as were the Wiener Schnitzel and the pumpkin gnocchi with truffles. Unfortunately there was no bread or similar with the soups. Price-performance was good. ⭐️ we can recommend the restaurant

Lucky for us, Maximilian happened to be next door to our guest house. We had the best food of our entire stay, obviously prepared with deep knowledge and lots of love by the chef. The entire staff consists of him and his young wife who greet and serve the guests. We highly recommend that you trust their recommendations for cooked meat dishes that are a delight to the palate and reveal a deep knowledge of the art of cooking and a choice of quality products. Order the cheeks if available, the meat melts in your mouth. Not to be overlooked is the cozy and pleasant atmosphere of the place, with a beautiful design, enough distance between the tables, and pleasant relaxing music. Be patient, wait calmly for the food, with a drink or a good beer in hand, and you won't be disappointed. Very tasty food, very friendly service!

I'm a grown guy and when I'm hungry I want to be full. So if I spend 20 euros+ on gnocchi in a pumpkin sauce, I don't want a children's portion. Seriously, how much does gnocchi cost as an ingredient?! And then charging 20+ euros for that little bit of food is really outrageous.

Had dinner there for the first time today. Food is great and everything is made fresh. Drinks were served quickly as was the food. Service is also great and very friendly. Why I can only give three points is the first point: there are no children's meals on the menu, which looks like it was cut out crookedly by a kindergarten child and stuck onto a piece of cardboard and the second point is that there are no high chairs for children. Many people have this simple chair from Ikea that costs €19, so buying three chairs doesn't hurt anyone. Not having one is simply not possible these days. I think that's why no one with small children goes there a second time, and I don't either, because you can't let a 16-month-old child sit at the table and you don't want to let them eat in a stroller. It even seems to me that people don't want to have smaller children there.

I don't know where the great reviews come from or what's going on today, but we had to wait 45 minutes until we could order a drink and another 15 minutes until it came. Unfortunately, we also ordered food with the drinks, which came at the same time . The food tasted really good

It was over an hour later before our drinks were on the table. After we ordered everything was okay, the food is really good and you have a great seat. It is just not recommended to get starters, it is too expensive for that.

Owners of the restaurant are married couple. And this is seen in the service and food! The food is very delicious and worth it's rice. Also the staff(in our case wife itself), is very kind. I would absolutly reccomend this restaurant if youbare at least in 100km area around. Worth driving!

We spontaneously wanted to eat there. Although there were many free tables inside and one outside was just becoming free, they didn't want us as guests. A pity!

We ate there three times during our vacation with our dog (Meilo)! Went there spontaneously today at the end of a long day of vacation. The only way I can describe it is “WOW”!!! Incredibly good! Truly the best fried potatoes I have ever eaten. Overall the taste was great! We were really excited! Also super friendly. 10 out of 5 stars from us.

We spontaneously went for dinner at Maximilians and were more than pleasantly surprised. The food impresses with its high quality and good craftsmanship. The waitress was extremely nice and quick. Our children were also enthusiastic (about the schnitzel with fried potatoes). For me it was the best sea bass I've ever had - simply outstanding! Only the terrace could be made a little nicer. Nevertheless, keep it up and we'll be back in a year.

Unfortunately, just a disappointment. The service advertised the food as “homemade like grandma’s.” The pancake soup consisted of 4 pancakes in a bland beef broth and the strukles were just tasteless and drowned in butter. Maybe not our taste or we know it differently from our grandma. After we explained why we didn't eat, we were referred to the "homemade" and our criticism was dismissed as baseless.

Adrian and Mledan are so attentive and welcoming, and he is a very good chef. We recommend it highly.

You will receive an incredibly warm and friendly welcome, the whole ambience radiates a lot of warmth and soothing calm. The food is simply fantastic, you immediately notice that the chef actually prepares everything freshly and is extremely positively creative. The restaurant is really great and highly recommended!
