Great food in a great place. Family-friendly and welcoming. The interior is beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable, and yes, the Wiener Schnitzel was the best we've had in the entire region. Hats off 👍👌 We'll be back!

The server was friendly, but it took quite a while from ordering to getting our drinks, even though it wasn't busy. We left after our drinks because who knows how long we would have had to wait for the food.

Good food. Service, even by German standards, was abysmal. Two women, one of whom seemed to resent anyone for daring to enter the restaurant. The other sat on the steps by the entrance, lighting one cigarette at a time. Seating was limited to sunny spots, even though the interior was empty; the staff wouldn't let us sit inside.

The food was very good; both the schnitzel and the Cordon Bleu were excellent, the vegetables were fresh, and the fries were perfectly seasoned. HOWEVER, the service was terrible. Even by Bavarian standards, the ladies were rude, and the service seemed to be incredibly tiring. It wasn't a big deal or a pushover, but it just felt like we were a nuisance, not "expected" customers.

From the stunning, unusual interior decor to the idyllic outdoor area right by the lake, this is a very beautiful restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended!

It was our first time in town. The restaurant was recommended to us, and it was an absolute hit. Traditionally decorated. A pleasant atmosphere, and right on Lake Chiemsee. An absolute must in good weather. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and very reasonably priced. The waitress was very attentive and even gave us tips on what to do in the area when we asked. I highly recommend it!

Inzell has been our holiday destination for 15 years. It's simply wonderful, and there's this cozy restaurant with a lake view, and the super-friendly landlady who always has a smile....

The atmosphere is great, the server was super nice and helpful. We ordered a snack platter for two people. We often eat snack platters in mountain huts, for example, and the most expensive one so far was €17. It had real bacon, mountain cheese, Obatzter (a kind of Austrian cheese), maybe some gravy, gherkins, tomatoes, etc. Unfortunately, this one didn't convince us in terms of value for money. It also came with four very thin, dry slices of bread. For €23, we would have expected a bit more... What a shame.

I can't understand all the positive reviews. The location is great, the food isn't fresh, but reheated. The sauces are watery. The dumplings were delicious. The hostess is rather tiring, even a bit over the top. The staff sits smoking at the table. Sorry, we were very disappointed and are definitely not gourmet eaters.

Great facilities, unfortunately only took a short break from hiking, but invites you to come back!

It may seem inconspicuous at first, but it's in a fantastic location on the lake, where many locals learned to swim. The food was fantastic, and the owner is passionate about her job. She's absolutely lovely. The interior ambiance is definitely worth checking out; everything is lovingly designed. The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect. Compared to that, the visit to Königssee was a nightmare.

Lovely little restaurant with a beer garden right on the lake – idyllic. Unfortunately, the service was a solid 6. Extremely unfriendly and inflexible. We (three adults and a four-year-old child) turned around on the spot and preferred a sandwich in the holiday apartment to the lousy service. 1 star for the food (we couldn't try it, as we were put off beforehand) 1 star for the service – unfortunately, you can't give anything less. 4 stars for the ambiance, as far as we could tell.

Everything was perfect from A to Z, top location, cooked with love, everything worth the price... and on top of that the best Schäufele we have ever eaten south of Pottenstein

it was our first visit to Seehausl, and it did not disappoint. The location is beautiful and very peaceful being adjacent to Zwingsee. The food was delicious, the drinks too, and with good service it deserves 5* A place to re-visit on a sunny evening.

Very nice terrace by the lake, very good sausage salad. Bread defrosted in the microwave, the crust came off, Aperol with white wine not very tasty.

Unfortunately, we only discovered it this year. Great ideas have been implemented at the Seehäusl, and we are totally impressed. It's very beautiful there with a fantastic view of the lake. The team is super friendly, always smiling, and you feel completely at home. The food is freshly prepared and incredibly delicious. A place you'll want to go back to and keep coming back to. Despite the dining room being empty and the terrace only sparsely occupied, we were rudely turned away without explanation at around 6:30 p.m. because we didn't have a reservation. It's a shame. We're used to something completely different in this area.

You can eat right outside by the small lake, the food is top-notch, it is prepared on site and depending on where you sit you can watch the good cook cooking.

We drive over 60km there every time. This year was the second time we arrived. There was a sign outside with the opening hours, and right next to it, another sign saying "Closed Today." Simply unacceptable. If they're tired of it, they should just close down completely. We were really angry! That was the last time we went there.

Small and charming! The Seehäusl is a little paradise surrounded by trees and a beautiful blue lake. The restaurant itself is beautifully and homely decorated. Although the landlady was alone that day, we had our food and drinks on the table in about 20 minutes. Both the Cordon Bleu with fries and the Schäufele with cabbage and dumplings were very good. Upon request, I was given red cabbage instead of sauerkraut. The food was beautifully presented, truly fresh, and delicious. The wonderful food combined with the breathtaking lake at the "beer garden" is definitely worth a visit. Or even several. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again.

Beautifully and individually decorated! The landlady's love of ballooning is undeniable. An incredible number of small details and a wonderful view of Lake Zwingsee. Small but fine menu, and the food is delicious! If you're looking for an exceptional restaurant, this is the place for you!

We're disappointed because: we were there today at 1:45 p.m., and outside, all the signs with food offerings were neatly lined up. Opening hours according to the sign and online were from 11:30 a.m. But it was dead, everything was closed. That's not how you win customers.

We're on vacation in Inzell and discovered the lovely Seehäusl restaurant via Google. The schnitzels are cooked live :-) (the kitchen is off the dining room), and the overall experience is very tasty and personal. We really enjoyed it. Everything is very clean. (You can peek into the kitchen.)

One more star for the exceptionally friendly landlady. The Seehäusl is a must-visit. The ambiance is absolutely stunning. The food is delicious and tasty. The location on the lake is incredibly beautiful. We were there and were thrilled.

Beautifully located by the lake. Food and drinks perfect. The non-alcoholic Zwickl beer is awesome, I liked it better than some classic beers. The snack plate is served on a very original platter, under which there is a "secret compartment" with cutlery, very funny. Only the wait staff was visibly stressed - because they were solely responsible for the entire economy. Did her best, unfortunately there was a lack of staff everywhere.

We've been here in town or nearby quite often, but today was actually our first time at the lake. Small, cozy restaurant with a nice, cozy beer garden by the lake and also very nice guest rooms. My wife had a dessert that was a bit too small for our taste. The taste could be improved, but okay. The Swiss sausage salad was standard. When asked, I added more seasoning to it, but it wasn't a special experience either. The innkeeper and landlady were very nice and accommodating and we will definitely come again. Maybe today was just a stressful day. Of course we understand that.

Even during normal operations, the waiter was unable to take the order. After 20 minutes of waiting in vain, we got up and left again.

The Seehäusl is highly recommended! From the outside it appears inconspicuous and looks more like a traditional pub. As soon as you open the door, the decoration and furnishings of the restaurant immediately put a smile on your face. Added to this is the sincere and friendly welcome from the boss, who simultaneously cooks, serves and chats with the guests, as long as the occupancy allows. The food selection is rather small, but we were impressed by the fair prices and delicious dishes. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

It was wonderful. The trout was great and cooked crispy. One of the best we've ever eaten. The boss, cook and waitress all in one was perfect. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it. We'll be back!

If you're looking for something unusual and want friendly service, the Seehäusl is the right place for you. We had the homemade brawn with fried potatoes and the Schäufele with dumpling, cabbage and sauce. It was delicious, the brawn is well seasoned and not too sour and the Schäufele is crispy and tender... everything as it should be. Here the guest gets Schönramer beer, finally a different type of beer, here in Inzell...even the non-alcoholic light beer tastes delicious. The furnishings are unique, creative and tasteful and the view of Lake Zwingsee is simply wonderful. A unique view of nature and the mountain in every season. This restaurant is unique and the landlady is incredibly friendly and customer-oriented. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back.

We had lunch here after a little bike ride. The service was very friendly and quick. The food (Kaasspatzn with salad and Schäufele with potato dumplings) tasted very tasty.

Seehäusl the second!!!!! Yesterday we went to the Seehäusl again with a "local" who didn't know this!!!! That had to change. She was as excited as we were and is coming with a friend next week! Perfect!

Totally lovingly designed restaurant on a small lake where the boss herself runs the kitchen all by herself. We had 2 Schäufele and our son a schnitzel. The portions were large and we were all very full. The price-performance ratio here is more than okay. We were also served very friendly and courteously.

We were there around midday on a rainy Saturday. The terrace was quite empty and we and another couple were the only ones sitting outside. In the meantime, five of us have already ordered a round of drinks and two of us have ordered a cake each. After a quarter of an hour we ordered a second round. My pregnant sister ordered fries as a snack, but that didn't go down well with the owner of the house. While someone in our group was using the toilet, you could clearly hear her complaining about the fact that the four of us only ordered one French fry and that the shop would go bankrupt because of people like us (as mentioned, with the bad weather and the timing were the only guests). Shortly afterwards she almost literally threw the fries on the table and when asked about the missing mayonaise she became even more unfriendly. Despite all this, the staff was very nice and the restaurant was very nicely decorated. However, the owner should perhaps think about how she deals with paying customers or only allow entry with a minimum turnover. By the way, our bill was just under 50 euros. The restaurant is not going bankrupt because of guests like us, but because of such unfriendly behavior. We would have liked to order another round of drinks, but we no longer felt welcome.

...the Seehäusl is a very rustic and lovingly furnished restaurant by the lake. For lunch we had dark beer goulash with homemade spaetzle or pork medallions with mushroom sauce and also homemade spaetzle...both very tasty. It was the second visit this week and certainly not the last. The friendly owner and her staff (probably her daughter) top it all off. Highly recommended 👍👍

A super nice location right on the lake, great for having a drink when the weather is good. It is also very interestingly decorated inside. Just something different and nice to look at. However, the table we sat at was a bit sticky. The food wasn't bad. But nothing for which you absolutely have to come back. We had the venison goulash, which was a little dry. The portions are a bit too small. We weren't full. And for a change request (Spätzle instead of dumplings) we had to pay an extra €1.50. We were very surprised. But we would come back for a drink by the lake.
