I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with 30 guests in the beautiful garden. The tables were exceptionally tastefully arranged and decorated. The requested brunch was a feast for the eyes and the palate, and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed it. We enjoyed a wonderful and relaxed afternoon with these lovely hosts. All of the guests congratulated me not only on my birthday but also on choosing this exceptionally beautiful setting. Thank you so much, dear Elyene, for this enchantingly beautiful day!
I expected a bit more from such good reviews.
The ambiance looked nice and clean, but what didn't fit at all were the stacks of empty drink crates right in the entrance area and all the tomato cans in front of the counter; it ruined the good ambiance.
The pizza wasn't to my taste at all; the dough was too mushy and there weren't many toppings; you mainly tasted tomato sauce and basil.
And I waited almost 25 minutes even though it wasn't busy. I'm used to the fact that with a wood-fired oven, the pizza is ready in 2-3 minutes.
It's all a matter of taste, of course; it's not my cup of tea, and the price is obviously too high for me if I don't like it.
Great place. I would come back again. I liked the service and atmosphere, as well as a large selection of seafood dishes, scallops and oysters are very good quality🦪
We were there yesterday – we had something to celebrate! Great food, great hospitality!
Our group tried almost all the dishes. Everyone was more than delighted!
Top service! Thank you for the lovely evening!
A truly fantastic restaurant with fine dining. The concept is very innovative. There are two menus, land and water, each with four courses.
You can eat each as a set menu. The real twist, however, is that you can freely combine them. You can put together your own menu from both menus and even order more than four courses. Beforehand, there's a welcome from the kitchen, which you can absolutely count as a course in itself.
All dishes are beautifully presented, very imaginative, and incredibly delicious. The service is absolutely perfect; the chef herself serves them.
The restaurant is small, with about 10 tables. Early reservations, even during the week, are therefore recommended. The ambience is simple and modern but very cozy.
For the four courses + welcome from the kitchen, you pay between €65 and €73, which I consider absolutely good value for money, considering the quality.
The menu:
- Salsa: Cauliflower foam and crispy tart cones (there were three)
- Pan-fried duck liver with pear, blackcurrant ice cream, celery, and lamb's lettuce
- Horseradish foam with black pudding and apple balls
- Main course: Skrei (winter cod) with wakame (seaweed), sesame, coconut foam, passion fruit, and snow pea purée.
- Main course: Iberian pork fillet and cheeks, green asparagus, dwarf orange, and parsnip cream.
- Hazelnut mousse, calamansi purée (a tart citrus fruit), mandarin oranges, nut crumble, and caramel ice cream.
Always very friendly service and a joy to see the people. The food is simply delicious! Go there, experience the food, and enjoy it! Thank you Bongo and the team for the many little extras that are almost always available! The plantains are simply delicious!
I met a friend there and had a table by the church wall with a view of the beautiful old town houses. We were warmly welcomed and served. Service is still a priority here. The food was incredibly delicious, and it was also a feast for the eyes. I would love to come back.
