NASHI Dining in Erfurt

We treated ourselves to the tasting menu. Everything was absolutely delicious and we felt very comfortable.

Nice, clean hotel. There's no staff on site. You can only access the hotel and your room with your mobile phone. New to me, but everything worked well.

We went here for a girls' night out. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, small but perfectly formed. There aren't many seats, so reservations are a must! The food was a mixed bag; the set menu was very, very tasty. Personally, I didn't find the sushi that great because the seaweed was much too firm. The desserts, on the other hand, were absolutely delicious, no matter what we ordered. In my opinion, the prices aren't reasonable, considering the portions are quite small…

We visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled! The stylish ambiance, which creates a pleasant atmosphere, is immediately noticeable upon entering. The service is attentive, warm, and very professional. The freshly and lovingly prepared food was a real highlight and worth every penny! We will definitely be back! :-)

Unfortunately, the selection of vegan/vegetarian dishes is limited, and what my friends and I had as main courses yesterday was rather bland and overpriced. The appetizer was good. The service was inattentive. We weren't even asked if we were enjoying our meal. No one asked if we wanted to drink anything. We've been here a few times, and sadly, it's not the same as it was shortly after it opened. For a restaurant of this caliber, our friends and we expected more!

This was our third visit to Nashi. Unfortunately, we have to say that the high prices don't match the service. This was already noticeable during our last visit a year ago, and it has deteriorated further. My dishes were good, and I was satisfied with them. I expected a better overall experience.

I ate the set menu, a flavor explosion. I thought the high price was completely justified for the quality and the preparation. The two ladies explained the food and the history of the restaurant wonderfully. I was only in Erfurt for two days on vacation, and since I love Japanese food and it's not available in my suburbs, this was a real highlight. I'd love to come back when I'm in Erfurt.

Absolutely wonderful. We had a lovely evening. The food, the wine, and especially the service left nothing to be desired. I'm always amazed at what Nashi conjures up with seasonal vegetables. I've never eaten pointed cabbage and pumpkin like this before.

You can get truly top-notch sushi here. I don't think you'll find better sushi anywhere in the region. Both the quality and taste were top-notch. However, the prices are quite high, which is generally fine. However, I would have expected a bit more for these prices, for example, one or two more courses in the menu or at least a small dessert at the end. We also sometimes had to wait quite a long time between courses. Beyond that, the service was exceptionally good, friendly, and courteous.

I visited this place for dinner for the first time last Saturday evening, following a recommendation. A modern yet cozy ambiance, charming service, a varied menu, beautifully presented and delicious dishes, and a reasonable wine selection—all in all, highly recommended!

Japanese fine dining in a nutshell! We ordered the tasting menu – all the components were perfectly matched and of excellent quality. The sushi is served with freshly grated wasabi and is an absolute dream for anyone who loves sashimi. The cod cheeks, together with the watercress foam and the powdered nori seaweed, are an indescribably delicious combination. All courses were impeccable in their flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful evening in a very tastefully decorated setting with very attentive service.

€10 for a liter of tap water is pretty cheeky. The food was okay, but unacceptable for the price. Service was chaotic. You're only paying for the view, if you get a good seat.

Dear Nashi Team, dear Rico, We visited Nashi for lunch for the first time. As sushi fans, we're always exploring. We absolutely recommend it, as it was by far the best sushi we've eaten so far! It was a little trip to Japan 😊 We opted for the set menu. The daily special was ceviche. Upon request, this was easily included in the menu. We were absolutely thrilled by the freshness of the produce and the craftsmanship. Everything was harmoniously coordinated and seasoned. For us, it was an all-around successful lunch, including drink recommendations. A clear recommendation for anyone who enjoys authentic Japanese sushi and cuisine. We will definitely be back as future regulars. The restaurant, with its lovingly designed traditional Japanese style, is also inspiring for a short trip to Japan. We had a fantastic experience at Nashi! We went with the Chef’s Choice and also ordered sashimi, and both were absolutely top-notch. The fish was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and the flavor combinations really showed the chef’s skill and creativity. The atmosphere was modern and cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. Highly recommended for sushi lovers 💓 we’ll definitely be coming back!

We were extremely lucky to get a table spontaneously, and anyone who has been there before will immediately understand why it's so special. Every evening here is a gift for the senses. If you want to treat yourself, spend an evening here. The food is of an exceptionally high standard, creative, finely balanced, and thought through down to the last detail. The service, ambiance, and drink selection are equally impeccable. Professional, friendly and unobtrusive, with a keen sense of atmosphere. Nashi has by far the most authentic Japanese cuisine in Erfurt. The sushi is unrivaled in Erfurt. Before visiting here, I'd never had the chance to try fresh wasabi. The sake selection is second to none. The service is top-notch. I'll be back as often as possible.

I was at nashi last week. It tasted good but the price was a bit steep. I have nothing against high prices but I found it a bit much here. But the quality was right and the taste was also wow. The interior is very well done, you feel comfortable and arrived.

Das Essen im NASHI war sehr lecker und die Wartezeiten zwischen den einzelnen Gängen absolut passend. Die Zeit haben wir mit einem leckeren Müller-Thurgau vom Weingut Böhme überbrückt. Wirklich eine sehr gute Wahl. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat, war das Ambiente. Vor allem im Eingangsbereich stehen die Tische sehr eng und in diesem Preissegment möchte man auch bitte nicht neben der Tür platziert werden. Auch die Bedienung wirkte anfänglich etwas uninteressiert. An dieser Stelle hat man das Konzept japanischer Gastfreundlichkeit noch nicht umsetzen können. Auch etwas mehr Ruhe und leise musikalische Begleitung wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Aber macht Euch Euer eigenes Bild. Wie gesagt, dass Essen ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Very nice restaurant in the heart of the city of Erfurt on the Wenige Markt. Very good cuisine for everyone who expects something special. Nice staff, price performance for what is offered is absolutely okay. Very busy restaurant almost always fully booked on weekends. It's best to reserve online, which is very easy with just a few clicks. If you are looking for a place to sleep, you can reserve a nice one of the 11 rooms in the associated hotel.

Wir waren total begeistert, dass man so authentisches japanisches Essen in Erfurt bekommen kann. Im NASHi gibt es nicht nur exzellentes Sushi sondern auch köstliche warme japanische Gerichte. Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Sashimi und das Black Angus Rind.

A 5 star rating on Google, there must be a weak point somewhere. As self-confessed fans of Japanese cuisine, we made reservations to find this weak point. This weak point could not be found in the ambience, which is extremely harmonious and kept Japanese simple. The very nice and professional waitresses also gave no cause for criticism. On the contrary, they were very knowledgeable about the various dishes and utensils used to prepare them. Then the food must have a catch. Unfortunately 😉 that was also very, very good. No over-salted miso soup, the fish is super fresh and cut perfectly, fresh wasabi and a pork belly to die for. That was really good. Now I'm in trouble and have to give it 5 stars. All joking aside, congratulations on the well-deserved points and the great concept. Thank you also for the great evening for me and my companion. If we are in Erfurt again, a table is booked.

Yes, they can: elegantly stylish, discreet Japanese atmosphere, friendly, relaxed, attentive service, the freshness of the fish is exemplary, particularly juicy small shrimps in the sashimi, inside out roll with a perfectly light spiciness, beautifully cooked rice (the slight sourness is not noticeable), fresh wasabi, sensational cauliflower with 2 complex sauces , dessert with excellent, unsweet marzipan ice cream. Wir waren schon einige Male in diesem tollen und, ja, nicht sehr großen Restaurant. Aber genau das macht den Charme auch aus. Aber wie vieles Geschmacksache. Und genau da gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Die warmen Speisen fantastisch, die kalten a la Sushi und Sashimi vom Meister sowieso. Liebevoll zubereitet und geschmackvoll. Wer noch Platz hat unbedingt ein Dessert probieren, da ist eine absolute Passion vom Küchenchef der warmen Küche zu erkennen! Was Weine und Sake angeht gibt es ausgezeichnete Tropfen, die immer passen. Und natürlich immer wichtig zu erwähnen sind die Bedienung mit fachkundigem Wissen und toller Beratung.

The Nashi in Erfurt is an extremely great, hospitable and absolutely high quality restaurant. There are not many good restaurants in Erfurt and only very few very good ones, NASHI is absolutely one of the very good restaurants. The quality of the warm dishes and the sashimi, sushi and nigiri is excellent. Associated wines and sake up to date with associated explanations. The service is always nice, helpful and well informed.

Ein neuer Versuch nach über einem Jahr: leider hat es sich nicht zum Besseren geändert. Nach wie vor sind Sushi gut, Blumenkohl zu lasch und mit einer Fertigpaste überwürzt, Pilze zu lasch und nicht gekonnt zubereitet, Getränke ok, Bedienung ok, Gastraum voll, die Gäste sitzen dicht an dicht, wir wurden zu dritt an einem Zweiertisch platziert, Jacken konnten zum Glück an einer für alle zugängigen Garderobe aufgehängt werden. Alles in allem: nett, aber für das Ganze doch sehr überteuert und entspricht nicht den geweckten Erwartungen.

A new attempt after more than a year: unfortunately things haven't changed for the better. Sushi is still good, cauliflower too bland and over-seasoned with a ready-made paste, mushrooms too bland and not prepared skillfully, drinks ok, service ok, dining room full, guests sitting close together, three of us were seated at a table for two, jackets Fortunately, they could be hung on a coat rack accessible to everyone. All in all: nice, but very overpriced overall and doesn't live up to expectations.

Was war das!?? Die guten Bewertungen hatten uns gestern angelockt. Der erste Eindruck war dagegen höchst unprofessionell. Wir wurden an der Tür sofort von einer jungen Frau im Schlabberlook, die wie die Aushilfskraft einer Studentenkneipe erschien, ziemlich schnodderig ohne nachvollziehbare Begründung im Vorbeigehen abgewiesen. Soviel Gastunfreundlichkeit hab ich im einfachsten Bistro noch nie erlebt. Damit ist mir der Laden keinen Stern wert.

What was that!?? The good reviews attracted us yesterday. The first impression, however, was highly unprofessional. We were immediately turned away at the door by a young woman in a baggy look who appeared to be a temporary worker at a student bar, quite bluntly and without any understandable reason as we passed by. I have never experienced so much hospitality in the simplest bistro. So the store isn't worth a star for me.

When politely asked for a table, the unfriendly lady at the entrance said that there was nothing free today and that several tables were still unoccupied
