What happened to the deli? It used to be one of the best veggie restaurants. Today it's a total disappointment. They used to offer a choice of several burger options. Now they only have one patty to choose from. Otherwise, they only serve pulled pork. The burger bun has also deteriorated considerably. It's a real shame.
Incredibly great food, lovingly made. Here the owner herself is in the kitchen and conjures up delicious dishes with great attention to detail. You don't go here to get quick fast food, but to enjoy an evening in a cozy, family atmosphere.
Beautiful rooms create a very special atmosphere, the menu is also very exciting for non-vegans and we were pleasantly surprised by the tea and wine accompaniment! In addition, all the employees were very friendly and personable - we would love to come back!
Unfortunately now this. After the old owners were ousted, there was hope that it would remain down-to-earth. Well, now it's neither down-to-earth cuisine nor down-to-earth pub. It's a high-class restaurant that doesn't taste bad per se, but it's simply not needed in the area. Unfortunately, it has a bit of an aftertaste here
Always incredibly delicious and really beautifully presented! It's a bit more expensive, but it's definitely worth the money, as not only is the quality of the food excellent, but the taste is also really convincing!
The two of us had dinner at Max Pett on a Saturday evening. We've been to vegan restaurants several times but never to one with typical German food. So we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately we were disappointed.
The service was really not good tonight we had to wait a long time to order drinks. Before the food came we were offered dessert because the kitchen was about to close. The dessert arrived 5 minutes after the main course and was therefore cold to eat as we had to eat the main course first :(
My plate was almost cleared away while I was still eating without asking 😅
To eat: The starter of baked cheese was delicious for us. The schnitzel was not convincing. Unfortunately, the salad was bitter and the consistency of the schnitzel was very tough and greasy. Unfortunately, the ketchup tasted like cinnamon and my drink wasn't the juice spritzer I had ordered, which I then saw on the receipt.
The Kaiserschmarren looked very perfect to us and for over €10 it wasn't very fair if it wasn't homemade 🥹
In total we paid €77, which unfortunately wasn't worth it at all for us.
Maybe Max Pett had a bad Saturday evening, unfortunately it didn't convince us 🤷🏽♀️
Although my navigation system wanted to send me to the entrance from the wrong side, I still found the entrance in the dark. The restaurant was beautifully lit and I decided to come back in the summer as the forecourt looked really nice.
I was very pleased with the large selection of vegetarian dishes and the falafel plate was really very good. The falafel wasn't too dry or hard, but just to my taste. The side dishes were sufficient, so that I found the portion sufficient even when I was very hungry.
ALLERGY SUFFERERS BEWARE!
The food was super delicious, nothing wrong with it! I have a sesame allergy, so I made sure there wasn't a small S for sesame next to the things I ordered. The first dish came sprinkled with sesame anyway. When I pointed this out, the explanation was, "It doesn't say so for these particular dishes because it's the same everywhere, and you know that." I think that's extremely dangerous for people with severe allergies.
Otherwise, everything was really great.
There's plenty of seating here, but the decor is a bit cold and strange. You have to get used to it. We had the Classic Chicken Burger, which was very, very tasty. Also the Blue Cheese Burger with the mushroom patty, which was really great. The vegan blue cheese is tasty and not too strong - something completely different and I would recommend it. They also came with great thin fries, which came in surprisingly large quantities. The dips were good, and two of the dips were great. I think the nuggets are made of seitan and were the only thing that wasn't so great. Very dry and quite hard.
