I had noodles with meat sauce. Was just ok.

Great restaurant! I can especially recommend the noodles with chili sauce and tofu. It takes a little longer outside, but inside you are served quickly. The dumplings are also very tasty, and there was even a dumpling extra upon request. The beef soup is also convincing - with a little seasoning it's just great! The ambience is authentic, the restaurant itself is a bit small for the high demand :)

Simple bistro, the food tastes very good (to me) and is very inexpensive. Above all, not a “cheap Chinese” with as much convenience as possible. However, it is often full and perhaps not recommended for a dignified lunch in a classy atmosphere - you then have to spend more. Anyone who accepts this should feel comfortable here.

Great place. Just a bit small but greatly compensates for the quality and taste of food. Perfectly seasoned and just to enjoy. Highly recommend. I had chilli tofu and bok Choy with noodles and vegan dumplings. Both were great and will go there again. PS. You need to go at a bit off timing if you don’t like to wait in the line.

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the place was cramped and smelled like food. I will come back because the food is delicious. My suggestion is that you come before 7pm as it gets very crowded after 7pm. There is a long line outside.

We became aware of the store through a television documentary. After a certain wait at the door, the food came relatively quickly. A very friendly and well-coordinated family business. A lively shop! Let's get to the food: we ordered 1x vegan spring rolls, 1x noodles in peanut sauce, mixed dumplings and wonton noodle soup. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were too greasy on the outside and still frozen on the inside (not homemade) and my noodles were unfortunately just drizzled in sauce. The pho was really tasty and so were the dumplings. A clear star deduction because of the spring rolls!

You get your food quickly after waiting in the rightly long line. Not a place to chat for a long time because it's just nice to eat quickly and let the next guests come along. Food is always great. Also very friendly service. In the summer you can simply order take-away to save yourself the long wait.

Super tasty and totally filling portions. We felt like we were in Shanghai and the food was at least as delicious. The service was super accommodating, quick and friendly. 🥳 Thanks for a bit of HotPot feeling in Germany 🤤🥰 !!It was even worth queuing for us at -7 degrees!! ♥️

Great food, at a good price. The small restaurant has little space and is very popular, you have to expect that you will sometimes have to wait in line for a long time to be able to eat. But it's worth it. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Personally, I really like the Asian soup kitchen atmosphere. I always enjoy coming here to eat.

Getting in at this place is the biggest challenge. I have never seen this place without a queue in front. The place is not huge, they have a variety of dishes and good options for vegetarians. Quick service and delicious food

It's so popular that there's always a bit of a wait. Still, the turnover rate was good so I got in quickly!! Once I sat down, my order came quickly and the food was served fairly quickly. The beef noodle soup was just right without being spicy, and the meat was delicious without any smell. The fried noodles (?) and seasoned noodles (?) on the left tasted like ssamjang mixed with meat. It was a taste that seemed to suit the tastes of Koreans as well. The portion size was a bit(?) disappointing, but the taste was beyond reproach, so I recommend it!! Is this noise suitable for conversation? Of course, it's not a place where you can have a serious, quiet conversation, but it's a place where you can enjoy a small beer and dinner with friends after work.

Super good food, very friendly waiters and it looks like a restaurant that you could find in Taiwan. Everything was relatively tight and we cooked right at the entrance. Quaint atmosphere, but highly recommended.

Over the years we have had excellent meals again and again. The competition is really tough on Kantstrasse, but Lon Mens Noodle House is unique in the city.

I go to Lon Men every week and could actually eat here every day. I've never eaten anything so delicious anywhere. Absolutely heavenly!! Standing in line is annoying but it's worth it. I love this restaurant!

Absolute gem. Come here sometime in advance to enjoy an excellent meal. The place is very crowded at times. Vegetarian options available.

I like it here very much. Small, charming and often lively. The dishes fluctuate from very good to just OK . But that's alright. I always feel satisfied and it's never bad.

The amount of sesame paste noodles is very small, the actual noodles only weigh 100 grams and taste sweet without the aroma of sesame paste, but are worth 10 euros

Lon Men's Noodle House is a food spot that was recommended to me a lot and now I was finally there. The restaurant is relatively small with an open kitchen and is usually very busy. I was there for lunch and tried the beef noodle soup and the wontons in chili oil. Both were incredibly tasty and prepared quickly. The price-performance ratio was great. I would recommend planning to wait a bit for your visit. If you appreciate good Taiwanese food and a casual, family atmosphere, this is the perfect place for an entertaining stay. I'm looking forward to my next time.

Food was not that good, I don’t understand the hype (and the long lines). Been to Taiwan and lived in China, can’t be compared, honestly. But as someone said, Germans still like it :)

Top authentic food! It really tastes really good. There is also a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. It gets busy even on weekdays, but you usually don't have to wait long for a table!

Very tasty food and good service. Since the store is very popular, there is often a queue with a short waiting time. You enter your name and number of people and will then be called as soon as a suitable table has become available.

This review is a tough one. Because I have very fond memories of this place. But just rating recent experiences it doesn’t deserve more than 3 stars. It’s a legacy place. And has been one of the the first Chinese / Taiwanese restaurants in Berlin to take serious. But I believe the food is no where close where it used to be. The small bites are still very enjoyable and the dumplings too. So make sure you have those. The rest lacks substances. The broth and the dry noodle dishes are missing depth. I lived in Taiwan and tried to eat in as many places as possible. I love the food there and to my opinion it summarises the best of Chinese cuisine and has a unique nudge. I hope lonmen reinvents itself because the first time I visited, 6 years ago it was different. Good Asian restaurants in Berlin usually have a 50/50 ratio of Asian customer and non. At lon men often is only white. Yea some actors are going but the real critics don’t show up there. And this really summarises it to me. The food became to western and is a shadow of it self. I still enjoy service and the fond memories! But won’t come back soon

Very good cuisine and friendly service. You should definitely try the noodle soup with beef! Light, simple, very tasty and still leaves you very full. Even if you only take a “small” portion, it is already big enough. Sometimes you have to expect a wait, the restaurant is very small and the location is always busy. So be prepared to wait.

Simply the best. You wait for a reason

It's so delicious. Eat a lot of chili oil wontons. They're really delicious. The beef noodle soup is also great. I don't think you really need to eat Heo beef. The fried dumplings weren't my style either, but the person I went with ate them well. In conclusion, be sure to try these two things: chili oil wontons and beef noodle soup. *There will be a wait as you go at dinner time.

All the hype surrounding this place doesn't really make sense to me. You have to wait on the street until you are “allowed” to enter - the service is very friendly and quick - the atmosphere is extremely simple and the food is nowhere near as spectacular as I would have expected

The soups and dim sum are very good, authentic, not Europeanized. Price management is absolutely right. The service was very quick and attentive. The ambience is down-to-earth, nothing special, outdated, has something of a “cult” feel to it. In my opinion it could be renovated. At least new paint on the walls, new tables and seating. But please not too fancy… Simple, nice new interior would make sense.

The best steamed Taiwanese noodle restaurant in Berlin. If you add a lot of red pepper sauce to the beef noodles, it's perfect as a hangover. The dumplings are also juicy and delicious.

Very authentic cuisine! Small restaurant that makes you feel like you're in Asia. Plastic spoons, plates, bowls and chopsticks. The beef noodle soup was just right in the wet rainy weather. Tasty & hot. Then we had fried and steamed dumplings with different fillings and fried radish. All very good! We were treated very kindly and attentively. Great restaurant!

Sehr authentische Küche! Kleines Restaurant, in dem man sich wie in Asien fühlt. Plastik Löffel, Teller, Schüsseln und Stäbchen. Die Nudelsuppe mit Rindfleisch war bei den nassen Regenwetter genau das Richtige. Lecker & heiß. Dann hatten wir gebratene und gedünstete Teigtaschen mit unterschiedlichen Füllungen und gebratenen Rettich. Alles sehr gut! Wir wurden sehr nett und aufmerksam behandelt. Tolles Restaurant!

Durchschnitt. Ich hatte Reis mit Rindfleisch und Gemüse… 16 € kleine Portion. Wer Hunger hat, wird nicht unbedingt satt aber liegt ja wohl voll im Trend und die Leute stehen Schlange. Meine Familien Mitstreiter hatten Suppe und die ist wohl gut. Kann ich aber nicht beurteilen, da ich sie nicht gegessen habe.

I was there today with a friend because we were curious because of the crazy hype. Unfortunately I have to say that I was bitterly disappointed. In terms of ambience, it's a diner with lots of cramped tables and excessive noise. We queued for about an hour on a Monday evening. Then while we were waiting we were told to take a look at the menu and choose something to eat, maybe so that we could do it as quickly as possible? The staff was otherwise very nice. The iced tea for just under €6 was a ready-made bottle from the fridge with a very sweet soft drink. Unfortunately the soup wasn't really good either. Hot water with a little spice and flat rice noodles and a few leaves of cabbage. In addition, a completely over-fried duck with hardly any meat left on it. I really don't understand the hustle and bustle at all and would rather recommend another of the numerous Asian noodle soup restaurants in the neighborhood where you can get one for the same price, e.g gets homemade drinks etc. Better save yourself the time queue...

Really authentic, small Taiwanese place. The food was very simple and there were many vegan/vegetarian options as well! The food was just enough, not too much but the price was also affordable. Happy to recommend this place! I had the fried rice noodles with vegetables and it was pretty good!

Friendly and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately a little disappointed with the food. The noodle soup was too bland for me and the dim sum was okay - the portion was definitely too small. The prices are a bit excessive depending on the portion sizes.

To be honest, the “hype” and the ARD documentary surrounding the restaurant is incomprehensible. Service: Very good (attentive and quick). Ambiance: Good. Asian-rustic and therefore appropriate to the origin of the food Food: Poor to unsatisfactory. The noodles are homemade (the only positive thing). The soup absolutely lacks taste and aroma (no love in the preparation). Other guests wrote that the soup didn't taste like broth but was just water with flavor from a ready-made bag: I can only confirm that. Anyone who has been to Taiwan knows what this means. There the soup is aromatic and you can taste the basic ingredients straight away. The contents of the soup were nothing special at all: just a bit of Chinese cabbage… not even bok choy, soybeans, tofu or herbs. Dim sum: purchased from the Chinese wholesale market and heated. Each of us can do it at home just as well if not better... All in all, a very disappointing visit to the restaurant. Note to the Ting family: Your guests are not naive! We live in a global world. It feels like everyone has been to South East Asia. Your guests know how the food tastes there. Stop selling your guests overpriced crap, which is an absolute disgrace considering the price! Tip to all future guests: save the money for a plane ticket to Taipei and eat really original noodle soup!

It’s the best if you’re craving Asian food while traveling‼️‼️ It's not a flimsy beef noodle dish, it's a real Taiwanese taste. When it comes to dim sum, I personally found Ha Gau to be more delicious than Xiao Long, and for a woman who doesn't eat a lot, a small bowl of beef noodles and one dumpling was enough!!! And the wonton seasoned with some kind of oil was very delicious🥹

I lived in Taiwan and after moving to Berlin, I’ve been craving beef noodle soup. Unfortunately I’m sad to say this place doesn’t meet my expectations. The soup is bland and the meat is not flavorful. The noodles are over cooked and soggy. My friend ordered the spicy noodles which is essentially gochujang mixed with miso and black bean sauce… For the price you pay, it’s not worth it. But the Germans seem to like it :’)

It used to be a nice address. But because of all the hype, it's not worth it anymore. Standing in the cold for 1 hour for food that is good, but not very good, is not worth it. My time is a waste.

They have a long line of customers outside in a cold Sunday evening, but then the wait is worthwhile. The food was sumptuous and best when eaten hot.

The first sip of my soup instantly revealed the depth of its homemade flavors, especially in the rich, hearty broth. This restaurant even makes its own tofu, which was incredibly tender and delicious. I will definitely be coming back. Expect a queue, but it moves quickly!

Service incredibly friendly. Food too expensive and the hype is absolutely not justified in my opinion. It was good but the noodle soup had hardly any flavor and was way too hot. The rest was also solid but nothing special. The rooms are much too narrow and therefore very loud and very warm.

We were there for lunch during the week. We had to wait for a seat, but not long. So great! The food was very tasty.

Authentic little restaurant. Waiting times may vary depending on the weather but a wait is to be expected, especially if there is more than one person. However, the order comes to the table in less than 10 minutes, despite the house being full. Very tasty noodles, juicy meat. There are also toilets. Cash only. The staff is always incredibly nice and works very quickly, a clear recommendation. One of the best places in town!

We arrived at 5:30 on a Friday evening and only waited for about 5 minutes in the line. The wontons in chili oil were amazing, their chili oil was super fragrant. The noodle soup was light and clear, not too spiced but very umami. We finished every drop of the broth :)

We were there because of the TV report. First we had to queue to get a table. We thought that it would definitely be delicious. We had the 15, 22 and Gua Bao (37) to try. They were small portions. Vegetables were hardly present in both dishes and were lost among the noodles dipped in sauce. No herbs such as fresh coriander and not enough of an Asian touch for our taste. I added more salt to the 15.

Worst food ever. Plain cheapest store bought noodles. Leftover duck from yesterday. Great disappointment.
