The most delicious soup in a cold cold city. Have to wait in line but it's really worth it, try anything it's all great

Paid 28 euros for this take away. Apparently fried rice noodles with duck the lower picture (17 euros btw) had no duck on it, either no taste. Dumlings were tolerable. Doesnt worth the hype.

I don't get the hype. Their main dish – the dumplings – was good, but not great. Apart from that: completely crowded, had to wait for 30 min to get into the restaurant.

A noodles institution in Berlin! Still serving one of the greatest noodles menu in Berlin! Got the classic beef noodles plus the extra tasty duck bao! Service always by the owners and that’s a sign of quality in a store! Decent prices! 15 to 20 per person!

The food was delicious. The staff were nice and friendly. It's best to go early; otherwise, you'll need to be patient and have some time to spare.

I still can’t believe how amazing the food and atmosphere are! I highly recommend everyone to try their incredible dishes. The duck meat was very tender and melted in my mouth. The rice was fresh and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were also well prepared! I could really taste their natural flavors (not overcooked at all) The noodles were absolutely amazing! You can easily notice the difference between theirs and those from other Asian restaurants. The beef was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. You can actually smell the freshness of the food here unlike some Asian restaurants where the smell can be unpleasant. The staff were very friendly and quick in preparing the dishes; you can tell they’re true professionals. This is definitely in my Top 3 Restaurants of 2025! I hope you enjoy your time here as much as I did.

As a long-time regular customer, it's sad to see the quality decline so drastically. Whether it's the noodle soup or the chili wangtans, the broth is only mediocre, and the noodle batter no longer meets high standards.

As a Taiwanese who just moved to Berlin, I was genuinely disappointed by the first bite. I don’t understand the long wait, this restaurant would not be able to survive in Taiwan.

I agree with previous reviews that the dumplings are very good. Thin dough and well-filled. However, the soup is a bit less so. The broth is a bit watery, and the soup really only contains cabbage and scallions. I recommend going just for the dumplings.

Extremely delicious and very friendly! A particularly good Taiwanese restaurant. However, due to limited capacity and often long lines, it's not a place to linger for long.

I went there for the first time yesterday. The restaurant was very busy in the evening. Nevertheless, I was assigned a seat. The food was delicious, and you could tell that everything was prepared from scratch. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

ordered Dish #2 (beef noodle soup) and my friend went for fried duck . Both were fantastic. The beef noodle soup had a deep, rich broth with just the right balance of spices. The beef was soft and tender, and the noodles had that perfect chewy bite — honestly some of the best I’ve had in Berlin. We also had two hot jasmine teas, which were light, floral, and the perfect way to balance out the rich food. It felt very authentic and comforting, like something straight out of Taiwan. If you’re craving real Taiwanese noodles and dumplings, Lon Men’s is a must. Fair prices, quick service, and absolutely delicious food. I’ll definitely be back!

Food was ok. I had a hot&sour soup (would not order again - was a bit too sour and too liquid), vermicelli noodles with crispy and steamed dumplings with shrimps&chicken.

After reading a report about the owner, we were intrigued and, after visiting the IFA, set off. The wait was kindly waived quickly. Our order was taken very quickly and in a friendly manner. Everything was brought quickly. The food was good, but unfortunately, my son's (98) Tufo in chili wasn't so tasty; it had no flavor. It's good that you can order the soups small or regular. The dumplings were very tasty. The chef is obvious that he's lived in Berlin for a long time; he's embraced the "Berlin charm." It was fine for me. Unfortunately, there isn't much time to linger, as there's a constant coming and going, and everything moves very quickly. I'll try it again, unfortunately without my family, who weren't as impressed. As always, it's a matter of taste.

Rice noodles with beef, large portion, €12.90 It tasted very good and I can recommend it. The restaurant was very crowded, but comfortable seating was a different story, probably due to the hype surrounding the restaurant.

We ordered wonton with chilli oil, noodle with tofu, and noodle with meat sauces. They were absolute delicious!! I added more chilli oil on mine and that became exactly what I have been craving for.. Next we would like to order with duck / ente

I've lived in the area since 2006, and I've known this little noodle soup shop ever since—to this day, it's unmatched in quality and authenticity!

Visited here for the first time today! Absolutely recommend it, so delicious! The wontons were the best I've ever eaten! My boyfriend and I can't wait to come back.

After seeing this little restaurant on TV and being nearby anyway, we wanted to try it out. I personally enjoyed the food. However, the portions are too small for the price. The place is very small, but the employees are very friendly! If we're in the area again, we unfortunately won't eat here again.

Even though there was a queue, the staff was very kind and never rushed. The noodles with Wan Tan in chili oil are exceptional.

Everything moves quickly in the restaurant; you don't sit there for long, but you're definitely not rushed to leave. Everyone was very friendly; it was busy, and we waited in line outside. However, someone kept coming out to check how much we wanted to eat, so everything went very smoothly and quickly. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was very tasty. I don't really understand the hype, not because there's anything wrong with it, but because I believe there are several other restaurants with very similar or identical offerings and quality, but with less waiting time. All in all, we were satisfied and would definitely come back.

Had high expectations as I had heard good things about this place. Unfortunately the reality was very different and I had ultra bland and overcooked noodles. Even with adding the sauces it tasted like nothing and I could not finish the bowl. Disappointing

Great food, nice for a simple, though tasty, savory and spicefull meal. The place is simple, small tables, quick and simple service. You can't book, so better go early if you want to try it out and don't want to wait for too long. There are many asian restaurant in the Kantstraße, this one counts to one of the good ones in my opinion.

Wonderfully delicious, always happy

This place is so popular that I went late in the evening and the beef noodle soup was sold out. I tried a similar dish with different meat, but the broth was lighter than I expected, so if you're expecting spicy food, you might be a little disappointed! Still, it was delicious, so I ate everything. ^^

We got to sit outside which was a great idea. It was a bit full so we have to wait a bit long for the food but it was worth the wait. Affordable price with a good amount of food.

Came here because I always saw a line out the door whenever I walked past, the quality did not disappoint! Can’t recommend the peanut noodles enough! Card accepted from a specific payment amount I think, but cash is preferred!

I love this place, unfortunately no pictures :( will definitely do next time! Everything was great, tried the pig's ears, very tasty crunch. The noodles and broths are delicious, love that you can adjust the salt content, the broths are like not salty or just light. The meat just melts in your mouth. The staff is friendly, really one of my favorite places in Charlottenburg.

The Nudelhaus had been on my wishlist for a while, but I live outside of Berlin, so it's always a long drive, and I haven't been there yet. Since I'm a Combat martial artist, I decided to go there after training, and it was a really good decision. It's a very popular place with a long line, but it's worth it. I then got the noodles with vegetables and crispy duck (52) to go; it was ready relatively quickly and was so delicious! I immediately felt refreshed after my workout. Next time, I'll come with a friend and stay longer to try more! —— A great experience in person too, with delicious food and fast service!

First visit to Lon Men's (yes, the ARD documentary piqued my interest too) and what can I say: the food was amazing; we woke up full and happy. We had beef noodle soup, duck rice noodles, and wontons. The service was friendly and quick. We'll be happy to come back next time we're in Berlin. Keep up the great work!

War eine Erfahrung die man auf jeden Fall machen sollte…mein Suppe mit Rindfleisch war zwar von der Grundaromatik in Ordnung, aber hier fehlte ein wenig „mehr“ Geschmack… die Teigtaschen waren zwar recht ansprechend, aber es fehlte der „Pfiff“. Zusammenfassend fanden wir das Essen zwar nett, aber der Service war hier das Highlight…auch wenn hier schon bekannte Persönlichkeiten waren fehlt ein wenig…Alleinstellungsmerkmal…trotzdem werden wir sicherlich nochmals einen Versuch starten…Danke!

Chili wontons and beef soup are very delicious. Unfortunately, the chili wontons are only 4 pieces, so the amount is very small. The various side dishes are also excellent.

One special place in Berlin. Their dimsum and noodle soups are outstanding

I was disappointed coming back here after a few years. The tofu-bok choy noodles were mostly just noodles, with only a few bits of chopped bok choy that felt more like garnish than a real ingredient. It’s surprising to see the restaurant skimping on something so inexpensive. That said, the service and atmosphere were as great as ever.

Used to be my fav Asian place but its not possible to get a table anymore and the staff is rude. Sad.

Go to place in Berlin. I always take the noodle soup with schnitzel. Somehow it lost a little bit of flavor over the years, but would still recommend this restaurant!

Was here years ago and loved it back then but today I noticed what popularity did to this place. I think it’s expensive and overhyped to be honest, the Xiao Long Bao’s skin was too thick, two of four Xiaolongbaos didn’t have any soup inside and the sesame noodles were very bland. Even after adding a lot of chilli oil the taste was still not really there. Also the portion was quite small for the price. Can’t really recommend the place anymore. Sad to see that! Back then the place was packed with Mandarin speaking people, now it’s packed with tourists…

I saw this restaurant on a Taiwanese tv program once before. When we visited Berlin , we decided to swing by for dinner with our toddler. There was already a waiting line outside. We decided to wait and luckily there was a playground 3min walk away. So she could play there while we wait for our table. The food was excellent. The soup broth was full of umami, the dumplings and dimsum too. My toddler ate everything out in her bowl and wanted more! Highly recommending this place and definitely worth the wait!

It's a lovely family run little restaurant, so warm (physically too, as the food is prepared inside, but you know what I mean). It's not the best food in the world, nor is it the most wonderful place in the world, but the whole experience and family atmosphere is wonderful. A waiter talking to people, showing photos of his children through talking to people just gives the impression of a local place where people come back to eat again.

Good place, but never get the vegan rice noodle soup!!!! Complete flop... tastes like warm water with salad (?) in it... I expected more :( Other dishes are probably better

The best beef noodle place in Berlin! It's really delicious. The broth is rich and the meat flavor is good. The bibim noodles are also delicious if you add some of the prepared seasoning. The shop is small, but the atmosphere is good and lively. However, if you go during meal times, you'll have to wait in line for a long time, so be careful about that...

The food was unfortunately very disappointing. There were very few ingredients, and the meat was cheaply prepared. The sauce was simply soy sauce and chili sauce. The price was way too high, and the portions were also incredibly small for the price. For the first time in a long time, I was very disappointed with the food here :(

Not worth lining up for it. Noodles are just 挂面, pre-made noodle you can buy from the tiny market downstairs in East Asia that are very unchewy.

Authentic little restaurant. Waiting times may vary depending on the weather but a wait is to be expected, especially if there is more than one person. However, the order comes to the table in less than 10 minutes, despite the house being full. Very tasty noodles, juicy meat. There are also toilets. Card and cash payment. Toilet is clean. The staff is always incredibly nice and works very quickly, a clear recommendation. One of the best places in town!

Muy lejos de la mejor comida china / taiwanesa. Wontons y fideos ambos demasiado cocinados, y definitivamente NO en casa - cocinado. El personal es frío y arrogante.

Nothing mind-blowing, this would be an average 3 star beef noodle soup if they served it in taiwan. but we are not in taiwan, we are in berlin. its still yummy though

The food is good, but not outstanding either. What is really annoying is the topic of “card payments from €20”. We are in Berlin 2025. The store is a tourist hotspot. I offered 90 cents extra to shorten the discussion. Wasn't enough for the boss. He wanted €1.40. You can't negotiate that badly with your billing service provider. Just bold. Won't go there again.

Small portions, big price, still hungry. Taste was okay

We have been coming to Lon-Men's Noodle House again and again for 18 years, now also with our children - and every time it is a culinary feeling of being at home. The menu is as ever, as are the rooms, which seem to be bursting at the seams - that's exactly what makes this place so charming: the unmistakable atmosphere and the reliability in consistently excellent quality. Our favorite choice remains the noodle soup, you can just taste how much craftsmanship goes into it. The prices have of course risen significantly over the years, but it's absolutely worth it to us. A real classic on Kantstrasse that has remained true to itself.

Here you notice... the money has gone to their heads. Anyone who wants to eat mediocre noodles (it's just normal noodles) is very welcome here. After 1.5 hours of staying, we were loudly thrown out (all the guests paused briefly and looked at us in horror) because wealthy customers were waiting outside. This could have been said more kindly. Never again.

Lon Men is an institution on Kantstrasse and is always worth it. I recommend the 15 and 73 (the latter is also great for sharing). If you want to avoid waiting, it's best not to come at peak times. Although it's always quick :)
