Sen Vegan in Berlin

UPDATE 2025: Sen Vegan is still a fine vegan restaurant but unfortunately it got way too expensive. The atmosphere of Sen Vegan is rather quiet and soothing. The food is nice. I would also recommend the takeaway / delivery option. Maybe one suggestion for improvement: the takeaway packages could be made of sustainable materials.

Today, five of us, only one of whom was vegan, went to this vegan restaurant, and we were all thrilled with the quality and taste of the food. No one missed the meat or animal products; the crispy duck was very good, and the appetizers were also delicious. The service was very friendly and patiently answered questions. We'll be back.

I stopped to try the Vietnamese 'Beef' Phó ... AWESOMELY DELICIOUS. 👌 👏 👍 😍 I was alone as ot was early in the day but this Family restaurant was nicely decorated and the Mum making the food was attentive and s great cook. A delicious nutritious Phó. Thankyou!

Love, love, love this place. Is our takeaway of choice. The food is flavoursome and varied and always beautifully prepared. The staff are always friendly and courteous.

Okay, but not great. I had a pho and a chanh da. The soup, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and the lemonade, on the other hand, was very sweet for my taste.

Classic Vietnamese cuisine, but vegan. The imitation chicken in the dishes I ordered was super delicious, and the drinks were also tasty. My favorite is the glass noodle salad. The service is also fast and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I love coming here and am always satisfied :) Thank you!

I've rarely ordered such a bad meal... My comment was ignored, and on top of that, the other dish was way too greasy. Unfortunately, all in all, it was more than disappointing; it simply wasn't worth the money...

On Tuesday afternoon, the restaurant was completely empty, and a guy who apparently always sits in the kitchen and not in the dining room came in. I asked if I could sit outside, and he invited me inside. I then told him I wanted to sit outside because it was hot and dark inside, and he said it was dirty (which wasn't true). Only when I told him I was leaving did he tell me I could sit outside. Afterward, I ordered the udon noodles with vegan chicken, and after a minute, they came out "fresh" and warmed from the microwave, with a strange taste and four pieces of vegan chicken lost in a plate full of udon noodles and frozen vegetables. When I asked him if it was normal to pay €3 extra for four pieces of vegan chicken, he said it was normal. He was just annoyed by my question, probably because of my presence. Of course, you have to explicitly ask for a receipt. The first and last time...

Cute little vegan restaurant near the Olympic Stadium. The food and drinks are lovingly presented and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff made our time amazing. Parking is a bit limited, but if you're from Berlin, that's certainly not a problem. As an outsider, you just have to look around and find a spot sooner or later.

The interior of the place is really pretty. I liked the ambiance and vibe. The staff was friendly but only spoke German. However, it wasn’t quite difficult to get through to them. I had a chicken mango curry for dinner. I enjoyed my meal. The only disappointment was the texture of the chicken. Visually, the vegan chicken resembled the actual chicken, however the texture was a bit different. Although, it could be improved, the meal was still delicious so I would recommend this place.

This place is amazing, just truly incredible vegan food. Can only recommend. It's a hidden gem. Suggest you get the Udon Curry with Vegan Duck, and the Canh Dua soup to start with.

Yes, great food with a wide selection even for non-vegans

The food is good and tasty. Nevertheless, I won't go there again. When the appetizer was brought, I asked them to wait a bit for the main course and not to be served so quickly. We were nowhere near finished with the appetizer when the main course was on the table. After we had eaten about half of the main course, dessert was brought. The baked bananas were cold and mushy. Unfortunately, this isn't my first experience there. On a previous visit, I had asked for the bananas to be taken back so we could finish them first. This was done, but the same bananas were served cold and soggy. I want to enjoy the food in peace and not rush it. So this was my last attempt there.

This place was a real gem - amazing, fully vegan food in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Our server was so nice too. Would not hesitate to come back the next time I come to Berlin!

I booked the restaurant through the app "the Fork" because I received an offer for 50% off. We were literally the only guests in the restaurant that evening, which I don't think is a bad thing. The food itself was good, but we had a hair in our food and the taste was a bit bland. I think the idea of ​​a restaurant like this is great, and the selection of vegan alternatives (chicken, duck, tofu, shrimp) is also really great. So the evening was okay, but the atmosphere was very unpleasant (only guests, no music, very cold temperature). However, when it came to paying and I mentioned that I was getting a 50% off through the app, the owner got really rude, saying I had to mention it in advance. I then couldn't pay €25 by card, which was a complete act of defiance for me. What a shame! I think the idea is great, but it was a one-time visit for me.

Nice food, service can be improved, no receipt

We were at Sen Vegan before the opera and unfortunately didn't have much time - but that wasn't a problem at all! The service was incredibly fast without sacrificing quality. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. We were particularly impressed by the very good price-performance ratio: the portions were huge, so I was even able to take something with me. A real gem for anyone who loves vegan cuisine or just wants to enjoy great food. We'll definitely be back!

We stop here pretty regularly before we plunge into the cultural life of the capital as “Brandenburg country bumpkins”. The very extensive vegan offering from Vietnamese cuisine is highly recommended.

Very nice and warmly decorated restaurant. The food was amazing. We once had peanut curry with vegan duck, mango curry with vegan chicken and a wonton soup as a starter for me and all three dishes were incredible! The staff was nice and friendly and quick in service

It was great. With our starter pancakes, even the salad was good and tasty. The cocktails were good with fresh ingredients. We had two impressive tasting main courses. Everything tasted refreshing. The sesame crust of the vegan duck was great and the sushi rice in the don was super good. The restaurant was quiet and the toilets were clean.

Absolutely the best summer spring rolls. We had a really excellent meal here. Probably a 20 minute walk to Charlottenburg Palace from here.

We sat down, my friend asked after some time inside, she came back with cards, after 15 minutes the order was taken. There were maybe 4 tables occupied. It is nicely decorated and the toilet is clean. However, we won't be coming back.

Very bad experience here. I was served the wrong noodles from what I ordered - okay whatever. But then they tried to trick me and charge me more for tap water. I was given a small glass of tap water which I asked for. Then they tried to charge me 2€ for it despite not saying anything. The bill listed it as a "extra portion of rice" I argued with them and told them no way am I paying this. It's a scam! Another reviewer has also pointed out fake charges. Stay away from this place! They need to be reported to the authorities for trying to scam customers. Unbelievably shady... And in my opinion the food isn't that good either.

I visited Sen Vegan today and was unfortunately disappointed 😞 The quality of the food was only mediocre. The taste was ok but nothing special. What was particularly disappointing was that the rice noodles were hard and very dry, which ultimately led to a stomach ache 😔 Another big drawback was the billing. I was charged the wrong amount and there was no clear and detailed invoice. It wasn't until I got home, when I calculated everything again, that I noticed the error. Unfortunately I could no longer complain about this. As a vegan, I wanted to support the restaurant, but based on these experiences I probably won't come back!

Found it so average. Had vegan duck, coconut curry with rice. The duck was very fatty, I found the sauce too sweet and the rice was too cooked for me personally. It was too expensive for me. I think there are many Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin that offer good vegan cuisine, so you are certainly more demanding.

The service was bad because he rarely showed up. Starter was still frozen inside and the food was very mediocre! There were three of us there and no one enjoyed the food particularly well enough to eat there again!

I was here with my daughter. It tasted sensational. For each dish you can choose between two types of tofu and vegan chicken or beef. I had green curry with vegan chicken. Fresh, crunchy and very well seasoned. A must for vegetarians or vegetarians. Even non-vegetarians should try this, you won't be able to taste any difference from meat and you're doing something for the planet. Thanks for this great experience, Sen Vegan!

Delicious! Great selection and the atmosphere is really cute. We made a super spontaneous reservation, but even without a reservation you can get a quick spot. The service is also super nice, a must for vegans!

Este sitio es muy rico, lo guay es que al plato le puedes poner diferentes tipos de proteina (tofu, tofu negro, no pollo, no cerdo, y no pato crujiente que estaba delicioooso). Volveremos. A tener en cuenta, los entrantes son un poco pequeños y prefieren que pagues con efectivo.
