Absolutely delicious food, very kind people but a tad busy

The food is delicious. Because of the size, the bowls and drinks aren't worth the price. The atmosphere is also a bit run-down. Otherwise, the service is super friendly and the food is tasty.

The food is incredibly delicious and really well prepared. The service takes some getting used to. A slip of paper is placed on the table where everyone can mark their items, and then everything is laid out. With a large group, you then have to puzzle over who had what or what each item even is. A little more attention from the waiter would be nice. But all in all, still a great experience. Thank you.

The vegan dishes are amazing – the staff is attentive and friendly. They also have a tip for visitors unfamiliar with this cuisine regarding the order quantity and the type of food to order. Very delicious 😋 It's definitely worth a visit, even for non-vegans. You'll find really delicious food there... and there's a wide selection to choose from – you'll definitely leave satisfied. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is quite popular.

We've been to 1990 Vegan Living several times – and this time, it was once again absolutely delicious! If we could, we'd give it six stars. The Vietnamese tapas concept is simply fantastic. We had four small bowls and one noodle dish, and they were really filling. The selection is great – a bit heavy on soy, but there are also alternatives with seitan or pea protein. The homemade berry lemonade and fresh ginger tea were also delicious. The food came super quickly, even though the restaurant was quite busy. The staff seemed a bit rushed (which was understandable given the crowd), but they were still attentive and friendly. What was particularly nice was that they even offered us a more comfortable seat when one became available. Highly recommended – one of the best vegan restaurants in Berlin! 🌿✨

I love the concept and the atmosphere at 1900. The two of us ate various tapas. They looked great and sounded really good, too. The taste, however, was very mixed. Some things were really good and innovative, but some were just average; we were particularly disappointed by the dragon roll and the kimchi. The latter tasted rather bland and had a bit too much sugar. For the rather high prices, we felt the food simply wasn't good enough.

What a fantastic place in Berlin! The food was spot on, the service fast and the ambience soothing... Even our small daughter just loved and ate everything that came on the table! Great for vegetarians like us!

You can order a lot of small portions to share. They're all delicious and healthy. The restaurant is also very clean. The waiter was very friendly. I'm not a vegan, but I'd love to come back next time.

I don't know what to say. The food was brought to our table within 10 minutes. That should have made us suspicious. But the many positive reviews made us curious. The tofu sticks were completely dry, felt like they had been fried three times. The other tapas were also a complete disappointment in terms of taste. I've never had such bad food. The sodas were also poorly made for the price. We couldn't finish them. We felt sick for the rest of the day. For 60 euros, that was a real pain.

The food tastes like dessert as they put heaps of sugar into the sauces and dressings. The main veg is Paprika and that’s basically it. If your lucky you’ll find one piece of celery or Brokkoli. Got the wrong dish and most dishes just really contain the same ingredients. It used to be one of my fav restaurants in Berlin. This is over now. Sadly.

It was a bit disappointing. The food came out very fast, too fast, it was just warm and didn't taste fresh, the spring roll type things were quite soft. Same basic chilli sauce on two of the dishes. I was full though and staff were friendly enough.

Pleasant restaurant, and it's easy to share, but you don't have to! We had two large portions of udon noodles. It wasn't really what I expected; it was more like a soup, but with a little broth. The different types of tofu were very tasty, though! We also had a mango/cucumber salad with extra udon noodles. That didn't go well. The noodles didn't come with any sauce, so you had to order them with another small dish.

This place is the vegan paradise. Everythings is wonderful. Each dish brings an unforgettable explosion of flavours. The attendants are very cordial, the atmosphere is pleasant and cosy at any time of the year. It’s not a place to eat all weekend, but for a special date, a celebration or just a treat to yourself is perfect.

It's OK, but a bit overhyped. I was very surprised at how filling it was. Three bowls were definitely too much 🤣

Really great food, now you can finally pay (exclusively) by card. :) This is my 8th visit. We always order the Princess and the Pea and the deep-fried silken tofu sticks wrapped in crispy rice, highly recommended! This was our first time ordering the mango curry. It's delicious, but not my cup of tea, as it's very sweet. This was also our first time ordering the faux crab patty wrapped in sugarcane, and we're huge fans! The service is fast, helpful, and uncomplicated. Orders are placed using a checklist, so you only have to indicate how often you'd like each dish. If you have any questions, the waiters can reliably provide information.

Delicious vegan Vietnamese food! What an experience! I ordered one of their large bowls, plus a couple more tofu skewers and I could barely finish it. The portions are large. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Berlin.

I recently discovered this Asian vegan restaurant in Berlin and I was truly impressed. It’s located in a very beautiful part of the city, just a short walk from a park full of playgrounds for kids, where you can also find a lovely, authentic local market. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, all carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. As a vegetarian, I can honestly say it’s rare to find a vegan restaurant where the food tastes this good—every dish was a delightful surprise. The staff is friendly and attentive, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. The relaxed atmosphere and great location make it a perfect spot for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy amazing vegan food in Berlin!

Very interesting food I must say but not in the negative way, just the opposite - the food was absolutely MEGA! Maybe this is the best place where we ate while we were in Berlin. Their Eiskaffee was also super delicious. Looking forward to go back.

Located right on Boxhagener Platz, it's a lively place. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available—even on Sunday lunchtime. The food is simply fantastic. We especially liked the small bowls. We could all find something... and then swap and try more. Everything tastes really good, and the sauces add a wonderful flavor to the dishes. A friend accused me of eating out far too little in my neighborhood and missing out on so many great restaurants. What can I say? She was right. The service was fast, humorous, and explained everything concisely and quickly, and served it. Even non-vegans will find something to their liking with the delicious food. Sitting near Boxi in good weather is also an unbeatable advantage. Definitely highly recommended!

The food is truly delicious, but the staff are constantly giving contradictory information regarding allergens. The menu is completely inaccurate in this regard, so be careful! Unfortunately, it's not suitable for allergy sufferers. We won't be coming back again – a real shame.

Good food. Fast service. We visited early (around 6) so no waiting time but half an hour later the outside seating was completely full. So come early if you want to be sure of a (outside) seat!

Very tasty vegan dishes, especially the eggplant in betel leaves, which I highly recommend. The server was attentive, quick, and friendly.

Edit 2025/3 stars: This was my last visit here. Unfortunately, it's simply become too expensive, and the quality and size have deteriorated dramatically. My favorite dish hasn't been on the menu for a long time. The other dishes have been edited, the ingredients are less good, and they're smaller and more expensive. 2022/5 stars: Prices are a bit higher than usual for "Asian" restaurants in Frankfurt, but the food is worth it! Every single dish has something special and isn't run-of-the-mill! A complete explosion of flavor! Delivery is offered, but because it's always so busy, the restaurant is listed as "closed" on delivery services, which is a shame, because otherwise I would eat/order there more often.

Absolutely recommended! Although we didn't book we immediately found a place and after choosing the dishes they brought them to us very quickly! In 3 we ordered 8 tapas (and for us it was the perfect portion). The water is free (there is a refill) and the price in our opinion is fair. The food is delicious, with cool and innovative flavors. We are not lovers of spicy, and if you are not either I advise you not to order "Rausch der Sinne". You definitely need to order the “Shaolin pockets”, they are so tasty!!
