Försters - Das Vegane Restaurant in Berlin

Our visit was unfortunately rather disappointing. Several things went wrong with the service, and not just at our table. Cutlery arrived far too late, and my food was cold. No compensation was offered; apparently, that's just how it is. Even when there were two of us, our food didn't arrive at the same time. None of this would have been a problem, but the food itself was also quite disappointing. Only the drinks and dessert were good; the rest didn't impress us – perhaps next time. Everything was vegan, thank you 💚

So delicious! The vegan duck was so tasty and had such an authentic texture I would have thought they made a mistake if it wasn't a fully vegan restaurant.

Sterile lighting, very small portions for the price, taste okay. Poor value for money. Don't order beer; it tastes watery and stale, would have been sent back in any pub. The explanation: "We're having trouble pouring." It was obvious. But it still stayed on the bill?!

Best vegan goose I have ever eaten.

The only good thing about this restaurant is that all the dishes are vegan. At Ikea's hot dog stand, the dishes are presented with the same loving care as here, and I'm not greeted with a request to limit my stay to 90 minutes.

Beware when buying gift vouchers. We had a voucher that was "already processed." Absolutely outrageous. I would double-check the staff. Never again!

The food was delicious, and we had a fabulous Christmas party with 13 people. The desserts were amazing, and the "Hot Inge" drink was delicious. However, this drink was served in a glass so hot that it was almost impossible to hold at first. Also, the schnitzels were quite tough to cut, so it would be better if the knives were sharper (e.g., steak knives).

To get straight to the point: we were at the restaurant on a Saturday evening from 9:30 pm onwards – we couldn't make a reservation before then. It must have been a busy day. Positive points: - We were greeted warmly and were seated immediately. - Our order was taken relatively quickly, and the drinks arrived promptly. - The cheese sandwiches with the salad were really delicious. - The homemade lemonades were really good, not too sweet, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, there were many other things that stood out negatively, which is why we wouldn't come back: - Appetizer 2 – Rösti with salmon tartare – was clearly undersalted. There was no salt at our table, so we couldn't add any ourselves. - The presentation was uninspired and more in line with cafeteria standards than a main course costing over €20(!). The portion size was rather small. In my opinion, they skimped on the side dishes. Both the roulade and the schnitzel were served with potatoes – is that really necessary? It hardly costs anything. - The roulade was disappointing in both taste and texture. It was kind of spongy (typical of soy schnitzel that needs to be soaked) and the filling was tasteless. No mustard, no onions, nothing. The accompanying sauce, on the other hand, was far too strong and completely lacking in flavor. I can't recommend it. - The vegan chicken schnitzel was tasty, the potatoes were tasty too, but unfortunately, the mushroom sauce arrived cold and then again – both times without a spoon. It was also very bland. It lacked salt or any kind of umami flavor. The most shocking aspect, however, was the service at the end: - We weren't even asked if we wanted anything to drink – they just dumped plates on us. ... - When we placed our cutlery and napkins on the appetizer plates (both were dirty; we needed replacements, as our courses differed significantly in taste), we were asked to remove them again, "because we'll need them again in a moment." This is outrageous. If I pay over €20 for a main course, shouldn't I be able to get a clean set of cutlery? The napkin was paper. Truly awful service at that moment. - While we were still sitting at the table (it was 10:30 p.m., and the restaurant is open until 11:00 p.m.), the chairs were stacked on the tables behind us. - As if that weren't bad enough: the cutlery sets and napkins for the next day were already laid on the tables. These then came into contact with the chair seats. So I have to assume that the first guests today will be sitting at tables where other people have sat with their backsides, and these tables won't be wiped down again, let alone have the cutlery replaced. Unhygienic! While we were eating, the restaurant started playing cleaning music. It was extremely unpleasant. All in all, the staff's behavior made us feel unwelcome. The food was overpriced for the service. I cannot recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, this seems to be another one of those food spots where mostly hipsters work who are too cool and entitled to provide proper service. The concept has real potential, but it's not well executed here.

I had high expectations, and Försters had been on my list for a long time. Unfortunately, I have to say I was really disappointed with the quality of the food. I had the soy roulades, which unfortunately didn't even come close to a beef roulade. The soy had a harsh texture, and the filling wasn't very good either. The potato gratin, on the other hand, was delicious and one of the best vegan ones I've ever had. The accompanying mushroom was also tasty, but unfortunately, it wasn't prepared particularly well. The red wine sauce wasn't very good either, in my opinion. In my experience, vegan roast/red wine sauces can be prepared quite well. All in all, I won't be coming back because, especially considering the prices, these dishes aren't good enough, in my view. Other people have enjoyed it much more, as you can see from the reviews here, so I still recommend trying it out for yourself.

The vegan goose with red cabbage and dumplings was truly outstanding!

Vegan German cuisine is rare, so I'm very happy this restaurant exists. The food is great and I always love going there ❤️

The vegan goose was amazing, the house wine was great, and the service was very courteous.

We were a small group and were looking forward to a meat-free option, but were unfortunately disappointed. I had the roulade with dumplings instead of potato gratin. The red wine sauce was so intense that it overpowered everything else, so I left some of it. My partner had the vegan chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce. The sauce was runny and lumpy, and very bland. The schnitzel itself was tasty, but very tough and tough. The service was very friendly and attentive, but it clearly requires experience in the restaurant business. The main courses were served, but some people didn't have cutlery at their table and only received it after pointing it out. The ambiance in the back room is rather cold and uninspiring. The two of us paid almost €80 for two soft drinks, two glasses of wine, two soups as starters, and two main courses. Far too expensive for what was offered. It's a real shame, but that was the last time we'll be there.

One of the few local restaurants for vegans. The food is very good and the prices are fair. The staff is very friendly, but they seem to lose track of things when it's busy. That could be improved. Otherwise, the atmosphere is okay; it could be more rustic, but that's a matter of taste. It's definitely worth a visit or two.

The food is good, although the portions are far too small. Unfortunately, they constantly let terrible street musicians perform and then beg for money. These musicians are allowed to make noise for hours on end. You can't have a conversation during that time, and the whole evening is ruined. Normally, you go to a restaurant to talk to your friends, not to be bothered by bad music. And the best part is that the moment the street musician finally leaves, they turn on their speakers and play elevator music. 😭😭😭

We were absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious and classic – just like we remembered.

I was positively surprised with the taste of the dishes. Even the cheese we had for the appetizer was delicious. They also offer some non-alcoholic wines. I'll definitely come back one day. The place looked busy, so it's probably good to have a reservation (we did). If you can play piano, you can also give the guests a taste of your talent on the instrument there ;)

The food was generally tasty, even if it wasn't exceptional. For €23, however, I only received a small vegan schnitzel with a few baked potatoes – the portion was far too small. A small salad could have been added to the main course, for example, which would have made the meal look less unappealing. The mushroom sauce with the schnitzel, however, was very delicious and rounded out the dish nicely. I'd particularly like to highlight the desserts. We had the tiramisu, the chocolate cake, and the pumpkin pie. All three desserts were truly delicious, but the pumpkin pie was a real highlight – I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, the ambiance was less than impressive. It felt rather dreary and cold, which somewhat detracted from the overall impression. Overall, the food was good with fantastic desserts, but the atmosphere could be improved, and the main course portions were too small.

Nice place, extremely adequate menu selection. Perfect desserts, as were the beers. Impeccable service. Excellent value for money, not too cheap. Everything very good.

I'm not a vegan...the food is good, but takes some getting used to.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience overall. The room was very loud and had a lot of echo, making it quite uncomfortable. The menu sounded promising, but the dishes didn't live up to expectations. The pasta was almost tasteless, the schnitzel was mediocre, and the portions were small. For the price, it wasn't convincing. The desserts were also disappointing; one was completely soaked in syrup. The menu consistently led to different expectations than what was actually served. The staff was friendly but seemed unsure of themselves when it came to the menu. It's a shame, as the concept had potential.

After high expectations, we were unfortunately quite disappointed. The decidedly average taste didn't match the above-average price! The vegan liver (chestnuts) was very hard and dry. Similarly, the roulade was also rather dry and, with the mushroom, seemed somewhat uninspired. The sauce was tasty, but beyond that, neither dish was entirely convincing. Furthermore, the portions were rather small.

We had actually planned to visit Försters last Christmas and are glad it didn't work out. Since we mainly eat vegan, we chose this restaurant based on its many positive reviews. Based on the website and the menu prices, we were expecting a slightly upscale, cozy, and "rustic" place, and were extremely surprised to find ourselves in a space with all the charm of a snack bar. The chairs were worn, the furniture shabby, the lighting unpleasant and sterile—all of which, in our opinion, didn't match the impression given by the website and the menu prices. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was only okay; it lacked seasoning and, quite simply, a certain warmth, just like the dining room itself. There are now so many purely vegan restaurants in Berlin that we won't be coming back. A shame.

The restaurant and its decor have definitely seen better days. Some of the chairs were stacked on top of the tables, which looked rather shabby. Regarding the food: we had cheese wedges and the steak tartare. The cheese could have been warmer, and the accompanying field salad with both dishes could have been cleaned better. The main courses, schnitzel and goose, arrived lukewarm, which was a shame. The mushroom sauce had an odd aftertaste, and the schnitzel tasted reheated and overly floured. A spoonful of the separately served sauce would have been a nice touch and would have suited the overall concept. The goose was more like chicken in color and texture; it was far too tough. There was no sign of a leg. The kale was bland, but the red cabbage was okay. The dumplings and the sauce were just okay. Ultimately, not worth the trip. The online reviews were better than the actual experience.

We had an exceptional time and were very warmly welcomed by the staff. The food was exceptional, evviva i cuochi, and the wine pairings were wonderful. Thank you, Försters chefs and wait staff, we had a really lovely dinner ❤️

Vegan German cuisine, largely consisting of various schnitzel with mushroom sauce or variations of donner. A bit pretentious we thought albeit nice atmosphere and friendly service. To sustain long-term, I imagine they’ll need to expand the menu as we would not be keen to rush back.

Yesterday we went to Försters restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg – formerly known for authentic, vegan home-style cooking. Three years ago, it was really cozy: a pleasant atmosphere, delicious food, German cuisine, and a genuine team – exactly what you'd expect when you read "vegan German home-style cooking." This time, however, it was a complete disappointment. The restaurant has been renovated and has lost all its charm – nothing cozy about it anymore. The food was uninspired and, for the price, simply embarrassing. Instead of creamy mashed potatoes, there were just potatoes, and the "cucumber salad," which I was particularly looking forward to, consisted of a single tomato. The staff speaks poor German, and the chef also doesn't seem to be from Germany – which just seems out of place for a concept that promises German home-style cooking. The low point, however, was a musician who came in with a jukebox, played a backing track on the violin, and then asked every single guest for money – in a restaurant where you can only pay by card. Conclusion: completely inauthentic, overpriced, uncomfortable, and overall simply disappointing. Once a hidden gem – now unfortunately not recommended at all.

Highly recommended restaurant. One star deducted because of the standing seating, but that might be a personal preference. The eggplant herring was amazing, and the only thing missing were the small bones. The rump steak was OK, but also harder to replicate. The side dishes, however, were worth a culinary treat of their own. I'd happily return again.

An absolutely fantastic discovery and a must-visit for anyone who loves plant-based cuisine! The dishes are not only creatively and beautifully presented, but also incredibly delicious. We were impressed by the variety of the menu and the quality of the fresh ingredients. The eggplant herring was particularly delicious. The service was exceptionally warm and attentive, and the cozy ambiance invites you to linger. A real highlight that even non-vegans will enjoy. We'll definitely be back!

I would love to give 100 stars to the owner and a server 🍾 We came without reservation and a restaurant was understaffed so they didn't take walk ins, so I begged them as it was our last day in Berlin. We promised to order only one dish and we end up having a feast with a incredible dessert serving by Chef himself with extra, super tasty cocktails. I need to say one thing I NEVER FELT SO WELCOME IN THE RESTAURANT IN MY LIFE It was truly amazing experience even if Im not vegan. THANK YOU FOR HAVING US

Unfortunately, the quality decreased a lot from our last visit. Last time, we were completely satisfied with the quality and the price that came along with it. Every dish was fantastic. This time was nothing like it. As a starter, we had the ceviche, which didn't look like real Peruvian ceviche at all. It was just boiled, soggy oyster mushrooms with coriander. Very disappointing for 12 Euros. The roast beef was just a slice of colored seitan with vegetables. The price of 25€ was not worth it, in my opinion. I also had the spare ribs, for 26€, which were then again just the same two slices of seitan with barbecue sauce. It left me really disappointed, since I expected a spare rib substitute that looks like actual spare ribs. For the price point, the food was underwhelming. We wouldn't visit again.

Really refreshing place with a lovely staff! We waited quite a bit to get our food but it was worth it! Everything is vegan but you still get some savoury german dishes. Everything is well executed for a perfect meal!

We were looking for a vegan restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located in Prenzlauer Berg. It's a small restaurant with a beautiful interior. We made a reservation in advance. The restaurant was full for dinner. Small menu, delicious dishes. The eggplant "cream herring" dish is highly recommended. Good portions at reasonable prices. Great service, pleasant atmosphere.

im not sure where the good reviews come from but personally we did not enjoy the food at all. the thuna was servrd on some grey seitan slab which i guess was supposed to represent lamb? i dont know much about omnivorous food. but definitely wouldnt have missed that seitan slab. it could have easily been a proper bread starter instead. we askwd for bread and got stale bread. main dishes were disappointing. it didnt taste good at all, both of us didnt finish our plates and left the restaurant hungry, having spent a lot of money. its a shame! we didnt have dessert bc we didnt wanna be disappointed again. im all for supporting vegan restaurants but this was outrageous for the fact that it cost so much.. never again.

So we went some days ago for dinner, ordered the “Cheviche” oyster Pilz, no flavour at all, don’t know what was their attempt to make? Latin American Ceviche? Completely disappointed, The cheese triangles get smaller every time, still they were great, got two mains that were fine, expensive but fine, than at the end ordered the NY cheesecake, it just tasted like Soja yoghurt, also very disappointing, sadly I wouldn’t recommend this place, also was very expensive for the taste. I didn’t took pictures as I was not expecting to make a review… and at the end the music was very bad and loud.

The food is absolutely 10/10, with excellent service and a seasonally changing menu. Always worth a visit :)

We ate here tonight. We were the only ones inside because the weather was so nice, everyone was outside, but we couldn't find a seat there. The food was absolutely fantastic, highly recommended. However, two of the staff were joking around, shouting, and talking so loudly (the one with the curly hair, in particular, seemed to be enjoying a strong drink from the bar) that it felt like there was a group of 10-15 people there at the same time. The only way to have a conversation was to raise your voice to drown out the bar staff. At one point, the music was even turned up really loud. Very unprofessional (!) and, for me, a reason not to go there again.

Small, purely vegan restaurant with very tasty food and staff.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to eat vegan. Great food, fast and friendly service. The dishes are reminiscent of meat dishes in terms of their names, but with a vegan twist. The food arrived quickly and hot, and the dessert was also highly recommended. We also had a seasonal menu with chanterelle mushrooms. I'd be happy to go back and definitely recommend it.

The food is really delicious but one thing that's not my taste is the the mashed potato's has apples inside :( also I was a year ago and the schnitzel portion was really a lot bigger. But still - everything is very very delicious the service was excellent and super quick.

I really would have liked to give it a higher rating, but unfortunately, everything was just okay. Nothing that couldn't be improved at home with average cooking skills. And I'm not rating the convenience products, but specifically the homemade items. The service was also, unfortunately, extremely slow and forgetful. What a shame.

The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the staff are very friendly. Portions are okay, prices are perhaps a little high. One note: I recommend letting them know in advance when the kitchen is closing, so you don't find yourself without dessert again. 😁

If you are looking for an okay schnitzel at a vegan restaurant, this is a solid choice. We had a nice meal, but nothing special. The “Roastbeef” was quite good, but a different name would suit it better - the veggies and potato-wedges were too greasy for my taste. These things considered, 25€ is a very steep price for the dish. The schnitzel was just fine. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The back-room facing the garden does have a bit of a “this is where the toilets are” vibe. Over all: I’d come here again if I had a visitor who wanted to get vegan Schnitzel.

They have a special Monday menu where you can select your own schnitzel/potato/salad combination which I really liked. I went with the Hamburg style schnitzel with cashew based egg, the schnitzel as well as the egg were wonderful.

We happened to stop by on a Monday because another restaurant we'd planned to go to was closed. Förster's had been on my wishlist for a long time because of the vegan schnitzel, and since they have an abundance of Asian options and we'd already had pasta and pizza the day before, we were in the mood for something different. We were in luck, because Mondays are schnitzel night! I had the soy schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fried potatoes (with onions and smoked tofu cubes), and the fresh cucumber salad. It was all delicious! My boyfriend had the "hamburger schnitzel" with a vegan version of a fried egg. Although the texture is a bit different from a real egg, the taste was very similar!

A very disappointing experience! I've never experienced anything like this before, and I'd been looking forward to a visit for ages. The food was generally good, but the abysmal service really ruined our evening. Never before has a server (apparently the chef, from the looks of it) spoken to me so rudely. Then no one else came, and we sat there for half an hour with our empty plates. No one asked if we were enjoying our food, no opportunity to reorder drinks or pay. And all of this, mind you, in an almost empty place at 9:30 p.m. and with quite high prices. Which would be perfectly acceptable if I received decent service. I will definitely not be coming back and am truly shocked by this truly poor service experience!

I traveled all the way from Chemnitz just to enjoy this delicious meal. It was definitely worth it. Försters is and remains one of the best restaurants in Berlin!

The food just wasn't that great; my mushrooms were too salty and tasted like vegetables you get at the university cafeteria. The prices are also overpriced, 17-23 per plate, and they don't look anything like they do online, haha.

Sorry, but if the waiter yells “Keep your hands off!” at you while serving you and everything takes forever, both for the food to arrive and for you to pay, and the food is only half tasty, then I don’t need to go there anymore.

Okay-ish restaurant, some meals (like the fettuccini) were somewhat flavorless, also lacking of salt. The vegan schnitzel was not bad, but also nothing special; I had way better vegan schnitzels before. Despite the complaints I still enjoyed dinner, although it was definitely overpriced. There are probably much nicer vegan restaurants in Berlin.

Finally some local food for us vegans in Berlin! On Mondays they have a special schnitzel menu. I tried the Hamburg one and it was delicious. Not just the schnitzel, but the potato salad and coleslaw. Super rich dish, I felt like a true German... Wish they had it every day. Couple of days later I visited again, this time took a vegan chicken with chanterelles and it was simply the best vegan chicken I've ever tasted. No idea how they make it. The combination with the mushrooms was perfect. It was pretty expensive, but still reasonable. Very much recommended!

Today we went to eat vegan for the first time for my son, and I have to say it was a very positive experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, despite being understaffed. We'd love to come back.

There was a guitarist playing live music when we were there and the decoration is nice. However The Waiter was really rude. I have asked for a prosecco and he came back with a glass without bubbels. I have asked him if the bottle was opened the same day or if it was a special wine and he started to get upset. He went behind the bar and brought to the table the Bottle and started pouring it in my glass to show that bubbles were formed when pouring. It was a very passive agressive reply to my legitimate question. We liked the Vitello tonnato and the ceaser salad but the gyros was burnt. I do not think we will ever go again

The service was super friendly and handled a special request very well. They were incredibly helpful and competent. The food was incredibly good and super fresh. A visit is definitely worth it.

First of all, I've been here several times and have mostly been satisfied. I'm a vegan, and I find it difficult to write such a negative review of a vegan restaurant. But as a vegan, you like to go to vegan restaurants to eat more than just side dishes. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened here. The main course (Cordon Bleu) was inedible. Soggy, tasteless, and only vaguely similar to a Cordon Bleu in its execution. The side dishes were good. The service was mediocre. All in all, a huge disappointment. I'm appalled that someone could even sell something like that as food. I can't imagine, for the life of me, that anyone could eat it and find it good. I'd like to give it a star, but because of my positive memories from the past and the side dishes, I'm giving it two.

The vegan chicken schnitzel is amazing and so affordable! We also enjoyed the white wine selection and strawberry cake.

The food was a huge disappointment. It tasted and was presented like a cheap cutlet from a milk bar for 3 złoty. The soy cutlet was like something bought from a store. The potato salad gave me a stomach ache. The service was okay, but the food left much to be desired. Lots of love <3

Really tasty vegan twist on German classics. Tried the schnitzel and roast beef. Very impressed. Cool vibes and great service.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place. The food had potential, but every meal was missing salt. And no table had a salt shaker. Definitely not good value for money.

Not really. We've very rarely tipped so little in a restaurant. Our small family celebration began with a starter soup that was quite good but, in our opinion, should have been listed as a cold "dish." Our parents inquired and received a disinterested reply that it was intended that way. Oh well, a little more effort would have been rewarded. We continued with the main courses, all of which included salad that was completely sandy, crunched when eaten, and in one case, it contained a small stone that would barely meet food regulations. When we inquired about this, the chef apologized profusely through the waiter, and that was that. There were no seasonings on the table for the rather bland food, etc. Overall, viewed individually, everything—apart from the sand—wasn't that bad, but together, it was incredibly poorly done. The ambiance is simply bland, and it's hard to understand where all the good reviews come from. We're joining the 1-star faction and won't go there again. Considering vegan cuisine (if poorly executed) as the sole criterion is hardly sustainable given the strong competition. They could have at least offered an espresso as compensation for the toothpaste that was needed. Too disinterested and not recommended. We're sorry, because the idea is certainly good.

Of course, the shop is extremely expensive, that much should be said in advance. However, the quality of the food and the exceptionally good service justify the prices. For us, the shop has now become a must-visit once per asparagus season.

The side dishes were very good, and the schnitzel was okay. The restaurant's ambiance seems a bit lackluster. Unfortunately, the service was inattentive, unprofessional, and at times seemed disinterested. Overall, this significantly dampened the overall impression.

It was super delicious😋😍. The service and the chef are truly amazing 😘. The menu is clear and not overwhelming; I recommend the vegan roast beef with summer vegetables. Above all, it's a change from other vegan restaurants where you usually eat, which mostly only serve vegan fast food. We need something like that in Leipzig, too 🥰

The appetizers were very good, as were the side dishes for the schnitzel. The schnitzel itself was okay, but nothing more. A little too peppery, but at least it had some flavor. One reason I will definitely NOT be coming back is the incredibly poor service. The two employees seemed listless and disinterested. The female employee, however, was the epitome of utter utterance, and it was almost entertaining: Her iPhone headphones were still hanging over her shoulder as she served the table. Not a smile, not a friendly gesture... oh yes, when she was behind the bar taking her voice messages and chatting into the microphone of her headphones, she suddenly became incredibly friendly and laughing. Nice for the person on the other end of the phone. The restaurant's guests got little to no benefit from this and, in turn, were punished with serious faces and disinterest. It's not very appetizing when the staff behind the bar drink from the bottle. We sat for ages with our empty plates; no one came to clear them away. Not even a single question was asked whether the food was tasty or if we needed something else to drink. We then asked for the bill and ultimately had to go back to the bar ourselves. Even a bar of soap as a parting gift wouldn't help; I would have appreciated more dedicated and attentive service. The ambiance also seems listless and uninspired. In the back, on a Saturday evening while the restaurant was still in business, the chairs were standing on the set tables: neither inviting nor appetizing with the chair legs next to the napkins and cutlery on the table. The music selection was also a bit... well, let's just say difficult. It's a real shame, because I think the idea of ​​making traditional German dishes completely vegan and calling it Försters is great. But good food is only half the story...

Försters is THE restaurant if you want chic and delicious vegan food. Everything looks beautiful. The food is top-notch, delicious, and the portions are perfect. The service is polite and friendly. We'll be back. :)

The food was delicious. It not only felt like a real meat dish, it tasted good too. The only drawback was that the portion didn't completely fill me up. I must say, though, that I was very hungry when I went into the restaurant. The service was very personable, at eye level. One guy actually squatted down the whole time, which was quite funny. They even reboiled my tea and gave it to me, which was also very nice. I was also impressed by the soap (not a typo). The atmosphere was pleasant; it wasn't too crowded, the lighting was nice, and the service naturally created a pleasant mood. The music was a bit understated, which is noticeable either way.

I've been here several times, and it's always been delicious! Home-style cooking with a vegan twist is very tasty! I'd love to come back!

After reading so many good reviews here, I was overall disappointed. The soy schnitzel was unfortunately so thin that it was very tough. The cucumber salad also lacked flavor. The potato salad was tasty, though. I found it too expensive for the quality of the food.

Incredible vegan restaurant, 100% plant based and amazing traditional options. Best vegan schnitzel I have tried. Very reasonable prices and an absolute must try if in Berlin. Definitely make a reservation on weekends

I thought the food was very good. But my boyfriend thought the vegan fried egg was horrible. He's actually an omnivore, but he'd never go back to that restaurant. I'm more discerning and would rarely go to a restaurant a second time. But I would go to this one again. So, tastes differ, but I don't recommend the vegan fried egg, but I definitely recommend the fries.

The food at Försters is incredibly delicious. The dishes are lovingly prepared, and the ingredients taste super fresh. My dog ​​was even allowed in and given water. That's another plus for dog owners. I've never had such delicious vegan roast beef and schnitzel, and the vegan Camembert was also incredibly tasty! I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant and would gladly return. At around €30/35 per person for a starter, a drink, and a main course, I think it's fair value.
