The building looks great and even the staff were friendly but I didn’t get to see any film because it wasn’t in English (only in German) so I guess it’s a good place for German speaking people, no so great for other movie lovers!

It's great that this exists. I don't like the lack of transparency. What does vegan duck, vegan shrimp, green chicken, etc. consist of? For people who are allergic to wheat and soy, it would be extremely important to know the ingredients.

"What's with Vegan" is one of the snack bars on the RAW premises, which, as the name suggests, specializes entirely in vegan fast food. Here you have a nice small selection of burgers with Beyond Meat patties, Seitan kebabs, etc. and as a side dish, in addition to normal fries, there are also sweet potato fries. The atmosphere is just as you would expect on the RAW grounds and the service was really friendly when I visited. I decided on No Fish & Chips to go. The portion was quite large and for €6.50 it was definitely a fair deal. The vegan “fish” tasted extremely delicious. They were relatively large, juicy pieces that actually tasted a little like fish. Unfortunately, the fries couldn't quite keep up, but they were still okay. They were really very thin (it's just a matter of taste) and a small part of them wasn't cooked properly (unfortunately that's objectively stupid). They were also really greasy and could have drained a little longer/better. The sauce was a somewhat indefinable dill sauce that tasted something like eating a kebab and the kebab man didn't really put any effort into the herb sauce. Okay in itself, but very unspectacular. It actually wouldn't have been necessary to put sauce on it at all. A splash of vinegar would actually have been enough. Otherwise, maybe just vegan tartar sauce? Although there were a few criticisms, none of them were so serious that I didn't like it there. On the other hand, you also have to say that Friedrichshain is not exactly lacking in vegan fast food. If you're already on the RAW grounds anyway, you can get vegan fast food here pretty easily and uncomplicated. But I wouldn't necessarily go there.

Food is great and all, but the last few times I've been there it always seems like they have no interest in making money
