The food was absolutely fantastic and the people were incredibly friendly. We had the hot pot and it was delicious! I can recommend it 10/10.

We ordered udon noodles and rice noodles with seitan, and we also tried the vegan duck — which honestly tasted even better than regular duck! I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. Even though we eat meat, these dishes didn’t need any at all. The flavors were so rich and satisfying that we didn’t miss it for a second. The place is incredibly vibrant and full of positive energy. Everything tasted fresh and healthy, packed with crunchy vegetables and perfectly balanced flavors. The waiter was very kind and attentive, and we received our food surprisingly fast. We will definitely be coming back!

We were here on New Year's Eve, just the two of us. It was very relaxed and absolutely delicious. The staff is so sweet and welcoming! It's worth it for that alone. To mark the occasion, we even received a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. So thoughtful! We've also been to their partner restaurant on Dieffenbachstrasse and can highly recommend both! We had the hot pot served at our table with a colorful selection of tofu and vegan options. Support your locals!

My friend recommended this restaurant. The two of us ordered a hot pot, the broth flavored with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The selection of ingredients for cooking is truly extensive and varied. Everything tasted delicious. Upon request, we were given some small chilies. They happily refilled our broth. Two dipping sauces were included, but the peanut sauce was far too sweet—it tasted more like a dessert. Unfortunately, there was a persistent smell of toilet cleaner, which was a bit off-putting. I'd especially like to highlight the excellent service. Our young waiter was a real ray of sunshine and prepared everything with great care and explanation. When I asked for Vietnamese liquor (which wasn't on the menu), he went out of his way to make it happen and surprised us with delicious plum wine. We were delighted. We'll definitely be back.

I have been to Chay Long several times and always been satisfied. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere and the servers have also been friendly. It is nice to have a place that has straight-forward tasty vegan food that is affordable and not over-hyped. If anything, I am often surprised that it isn't busier given the value of the food! Tip is definitely the Pho and the Vietnamese crepes (although they are a bit more pricy than the rest of the menu). The summer rolls are also a nice appetizer option and we had the bao once and found it tasty as well. The only dish so far that was a slight disappointment was 'Chay Long Monastery,' which was still good but not as special as the other dishes, imo.

We ordered dinner last night and were super, super happy. We had two starters and two main courses, and everything was incredibly delicious. Plus, it was all vegan, amazing. We'll definitely be going back more often from now on.

We dined there last year. The staff forced us to leave good review on neotaste. Inside the restaurant there was a strong construction smells, although the business had been one year already at that time. The food was so-so.

Great vegan Vietnamese restaurant. Everything we've had so far has been very good. Ambitiously seasoned, sometimes quite spicy. When you pick up your order, you always get a tea while you wait. They have their own deposit system for reusable packaging. Very friendly staff. One of the better local restaurants.

Vegan only Vietnamese restaurant. Went there with the family. We had the Hot Pot (Feuertopf) together. That's an event in itself 🥳 You get the pot on a hot plate, a big plate with veggies, tofu and Vietnamese sausage (which apparently tastes like real sausage and really good. It's not gluten free so I didn't try it myself), a bowl with glass noodles and an introduction by the really super friendly service. The portions were big enough, it was fun to do the cooking at the table together but... the taste was a bit boring to be honest. I wouldn't order it again. We got 2 dips to spice it up. One very sugary (way too sugary for me) peanut dip and one a bit spicy. The veggies were all really fresh and clean. The service was super nice though a bit hard to understand. The price was too high with 23 € per person for the hotpot. Next time I'd try starters (e.g. Vietnamese tapas) and main courses.

Relatively average (good) Asian restaurant for Berlin standards. Food is tasty but not outstanding either. Portions are fair in size but the “goodies” – in our case Saitan or vegan chicken – are a bit stingy. What I find to be an impudence is to charge €2.9 for a 0.25l of tap water (yes, really tap water, I specifically asked). It is available sparkling in 0.75l for €6.5. Another drawback is that none of the chopsticks were really clean. Bonus Level: Printed invoice with no invoice written on the top.

One of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. Every meal begins with jasmine tea. Very friendly service, pleasant atmosphere, delicious homemade drinks and dishes! A manageable menu, but why overdo it! Enough space inside and in summer also outside!

Unreservedly recommended! The food was very tasty and the service was great! I was able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. With a wheat and the vegan curry (with vegan chicken) I had a good time in the sun.

A really nice big restaurant with a big terrace. Everything is nice and clean, including the toilets, and nicely and simply decorated. The food selection is good, it was served quickly and the food tasted great. Prices are average and completely reasonable. The staff are friendly and cheerful. Considering that there was little activity during our visit, I felt it was a bit lacking in "visibility". You should go to the guests' table once or twice and ask if everything is OK or if you would like to order something else. Small drawback: The restaurant is located on a large street, where it can be a bit louder on the terrace.
