I've actually been there regularly - once a month, including today... 5:30 p.m., the whole place empty... except for one table, I wanted a table by the window, but the expression on the employee's face because he wanted to sit me at a table for two in the middle of the place suddenly made the joy of the steak disappear. thank you for that! If the steak alone comes to almost €50, you can imagine what the bill will look like at the end, you won't go under €100 or €120 + TG (I'm never stingy with tips either), mind you for one person (!)...but there was no steak like that...apparently some restaurants can afford that

On February 21st, 2025 my wife and I had the 2nd culinary experience in the steak shop: Unfortunately, we can no longer report as positively about the evening as we did the first time two years ago. I also communicated this to the steak community by email - unfortunately with a somewhat weak response. Here is our honest feedback on our participation in the Beeftasting Masterclass on the above date. However, after our current visit we are unfortunately disappointed. We have exchanged ideas with friends and know that there may have been changes to the concept, but for us the experience was not convincing this time. 1. Serving Size: The quantities served were more like samples than actual portions. We estimated that we only got 150-200 grams of meat per person over the entire evening. If you wanted to get a second helping, it was usually just a very small strip. For the price, we would have expected that you would actually be full at the end. The side dishes were also rather clear in terms of quantity. This was also criticized by other guests at our table. If you are in a room full of the most delicious meat and are only served a "sample" of it, that is not exactly beneficial for the gastronomic experience. 2. BEEF: Unfortunately, this didn't work as expected because the gas ran out. This spoiled part of the experience in terms of the special taste. You could have quickly made do with a replacement gas bottle. What a shame! 3. In our opinion, the explanations about the topic of meat were too brief, or were only "touched on". Of course there were a lot of people in the room who already knew a lot about meat/steaks, but we still had each other here an additional knowledge refresher would be desired. Our leader of the evening, Nik, made it a bit easy for himself. 4. Value for money: Due to the small amounts of meat and the technical problems, we unfortunately cannot recommend the course in good conscience. There was no reason to complain about the taste and the service. However, for the price, you could enjoy a multi-course meal in an upscale restaurant instead - with generous portions and a well-rounded overall experience. If the concept is deliberately aimed at tasting, it would be important to communicate this more clearly. Maybe we misunderstood something here?! Two years ago it was definitely more harmonious, and there was more on the plate with every course. We hope our feedback is helpful

Great restaurant! Bright and friendly furnishings, modern but cozy. Very comfortable armchairs and neat tables. The service in the restaurant is also very attentive. But the kicker is the food. Great quality, the steaks were sizzled to perfection and soft as butter. Handmade fries and delicious sauces. The open wines are also good. And with a very good price-performance ratio. One of the best things in the Marburg area... We'd love to come back!

The two of us were on a short vacation in Kassel Harleshausen and had dinner in the Uhrtürmchen. We both had the fillet steak with a side of beans and fried potatoes. There was also Pilsner Urquell on tap. The food was very, very tasty, We would love to come here again.

I don't understand how these reviews came about. The food culture in Wiesbaden is pretty weak. We ordered meat skewers medium, but received them raw and toe. Neither of us could chew the meat. Unfortunately we had to spit it back on the plate. The boss came with a lava stone and wanted to save the whole thing. There is also no invoice! Waiter aggressive, boss tried hard but not honest - absolutely not recommended.

Best steak in years and the pasta was fantastic!

Maden var udemærket, dog kunne det godt bruges mere tilbehør, eller alternativt bør det oplyses at der skal tilvælges tilbehør. Jeg fik en bøf som var nød til at bestille pommesfritter til ved siden af. Da den kom var der heller ingen sauce, hvorfor jeg efterbestilte dette. Derudover manglede der noget grønt. Prisen taget i betragtning synes jeg ikke dette står mål med hvad jeg fik.
