Sombrero Latino in Wiesbaden

This place is a must. The food is incredible. The Mexican roulette is amazing. It’s enough for 12-14 people and one of the tacos has a surprise ghost pepper sauce. I really wanted to try the empanadas but they were out. Also, I was the one that got the ghost pepper and I loved it. If you like spicy then you will be happy to get it. We also had the pulled pork sandwich which was delicious. The pork was perfectly cook and the coleslaw was good. Their fries are incredible

The food and atmosphere were incredible. Both the steak and the fish were exquisite.

We ate here for the first time today. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and cozy. You feel welcome from the moment you enter until you leave. The cocktail was great, and the beer was also delicious. The food was outstanding and worth every penny. We'll definitely be back.

Usually not a fan of "latin American" food since it would be a mix without anything authentic. Not the case here! Every dishwe tasted was legit. The staff was friendly, charming and authentic. Can't recommend this place enough :)

A friend of ours introduced us to this delicious, beautiful, and very fun restaurant! The food was flavorful, well cooked, and well priced. The drinks are incredible. Our waitress was very kind, put up with our limited German, and had good recommendations! The restaurant itself is large, such fun wallpaper and things to look at, and the music makes it even more fun. We will definitely be returning for another great meal!

We had an excellent evening, with a great atmosphere and lots of people dancing in the adjoining room. The food was excellent and the bar is very well-stocked. The bartenders make super-delicious drinks, even mixing things that aren't on the menu. We also really enjoyed the ambiance. A truly great place.

Eine sehr schöne, authentische Location (mit Tango Saal in rückwärtigen Bereich) Essen lecker aber dem Preis für die Steaks nicht angemessen. Side Salat vergessen. Beim bezahlen mit Karte die etwas Offensive Bitte, das Trinkgeld in bar zu geben. Beleg gab es keinen (trotz 2 maliger Bitte) und Angabe der email auch in einem Erinnerungs Feedback online. Wer einen bewirtungsbeleg wünscht ist hier leider nicht gut bedient!

I can safely say that this is the best Mexican food in all of Germany.The tacos and drinks are outstanding. Along with the great service, I will definitely be coming back!

Literally my favorite Spanish restaurant of spain or former Spanish colonies. I love that it's not just Mexican but south American and Caribbean as well. Absolutely must eat here

Thirteen of us celebrated our daughter's baptism there. We and all our guests were thrilled. The prior discussions with Mr. Lillo were always friendly, and our requests were very well catered for. The team was equally friendly and attentive. I particularly note that not only the meat was excellently prepared, but also the fish and the vegetarian/vegan dishes. Considering the quality of the food and the number of courses and drinks, the price is very reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

Very good food, very nice ambiance. We spontaneously reserved a table via the website, and you should do that before you go. Service was good; it was very busy (Friday evening), so you should expect a wait, but they still made every effort to please every single guest. We'll be back :)

This was our first time at this South American restaurant and we were absolutely not disappointed! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – a great blend of modern style and Latin American flair. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the burgers: juicy meat, perfectly grilled, with creative toppings and a fluffy bun – absolutely delicious! The tacos were also a highlight: freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and filled with great ingredients. You can taste the quality and attention to detail. I'd love to come back!!

Food was very good. Service was friendly, but neither fast or efficient. Kitchen was not speedy either, but it was a busy night, so that can be expected.

The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service of the staff were very good. Unfortunately, the burger patty was dry. There were many options for drinks, so it was fun to choose.

It was great! First off the service was impeccable! I have a toddler 18 months old and they brought her toys and a rocking horse to play with while we waited. The food was really good. We got le table Latina, super filling, the tacos were great as well. We really enjoyed the fish and shrimp taco. We also got the Ribeye plate; the steak was perfectly seasoned along side with some delicious potatoes. Oh and drinks, the house lemonade ( mango) was delicious! And my husband got the special beer. Overall great experience, sad I hadn’t visited sooner! We shall be back!

An authentic and great atmosphere that captivated us from the start. We received a warm welcome, and the service was very courteous and attentive. Unfortunately, I have to follow a gluten-free diet, and the dishes are already labeled "gluten-free," which is perfect for me 🥰 The house cola was absolutely delicious, as was the gin and basil cocktail. We shared the nacho platter for starters, and we also really enjoyed the burgers, eggplant, and corn tortillas. The value for money is good for Wiesbaden. We'd be happy to come back 😌🤞

Amazing experience every time! It’s rare that’s I’ve been someplace the food and service are CONSISTENTLY Stella. The menu has changed slightly from my last visit but the seasonal selections are full of flavor and creativity. The staff and atmosphere welcome you and make you feel at ease, offering suggestions, and answering questions with flair and confidence. The patience for small children is unmatched in Wiesbaden. I will return to Sombrero time and time again.

I don't understand how these reviews came about. The food culture in Wiesbaden is pretty weak. We ordered meat skewers medium, but received them raw and toe. Neither of us could chew the meat. Unfortunately we had to spit it back on the plate. The boss came with a lava stone and wanted to save the whole thing. There is also no invoice! Waiter aggressive, boss tried hard but not honest - absolutely not recommended.

Authentic food and super tasty. The staff rounds off the trip to Latin America. From Chile to Venezuela, everything was represented. If you have the opportunity, you have to drink another tequila at the bar at the end and let yourself be informed about the background of the whole bar. It was a very nice evening. Unfortunately, I have to add that our food order was lost and we had to ask again after a while. But then everything happened very quickly. We were well compensated for our waiting time and it was clear that the staff were very sorry.

We love this place! We eat here regularly and it is consistently delicious. The menu has evolved to a delectable mix of options. We love the tacos, nachos, empanada, corn fritters, and the burger is the best we’ve had in Wiesbaden. The wine selection is exceptional and don’t miss the Polar beer. We will be back every couple of weeks or more! We’re so glad to have this kind of food in Wiesbaden!
