Really nice place! Owner is very friendly. Service is great! Food is also very good and you‘ll definitely get full, portion sizes are fair. - Pasta is just a little bit too salty though (Truffle Tagliolini). Other than that - the Pumpkin soup was fantastic (see photo). Would very much recommend. Very authentic, Italian restaurant in Wiesbaden City Center.

What a superb steak! I don’t eat steak often in restaurants because it’s too easy to get disappointed. But this rib-eye steak was simply perfect and a pure joy of taste. Also the grilled vegetables were simple and delicious. 100% recommendation! I will definitely return.

Wiesbaden was a beautiful place to visit, and of the available options we decided that steaks and pasta felt right. Isoletta Steak und Pasta sits in a prime location within walking distance of some of the city’s must-see places and spaces. The area has lovely architecture, ornate facades, hip shops and some good restaurants. There is a gentle hum of both locals and visitors making the most of the town. I was reading that this restaurant is owned by the Cavallo family, who own a few different “Isoletta” locations. The name means something like “little island” - so I’m guessing the vibe they want is that of a small and relaxing home away from home - a little oasis from whatever is happening in the busy world. It looked like an authentically presented pasta and steak place. For drinks, we had a few glasses of Primitivo, tried the Le Volte and finished the evening off with some of the Licor 43 over ice. We ordered a 300g ribeye steak, cooked medium rare, complemented by a baked potato wrapped in foil and tender broccoli. We also grabbed a spaghetti carbonara and a serve of the ravioli. The carbonara was a highlight, it was traditional enough, with some nice, rich flavours. The ravioli was ordinary, the menu claims it is home made, but it definitely had a mass produced and frozen vibe - maybe that’s how they do it at home. I’ll let the pictures do the talking with the steak - you can decide if it looks medium rare. It was a high quality steak, so you could persist regardless. I worked in kitchens a long time ago where chefs would ignore how you wanted it, and would cook it how they thought that cut of meat should be eaten. Maybe that was the chef’s intent, but at a steakhouse, it should be a place where they are nailing it exactly how you wanted it. I’m not a send food back sort of person, that’s how you get your food spat in, or worse - so we just rolled on. Despite the mains, we gave dessert a whirl and they were good. We got the molten lava cake and the Italian classic tiramisu. In Italian, ‘Tiramisu’ means “pick me up” - this one is more of a ‘Mettimi giu’ (“put me down”) - the lava cake was rich and moist and I enjoyed that more. I am an optimist, and my hope is that the kitchen maybe had a bad night. Or that they can re-focus on what made them open an Italian Pasta and Steakhouse, and what makes someone go, and come again. The quality of the cuts of steak are very good, the cooking of it was not. Good ravioli should be little bundles of delicious with a simple, quality sauce - these were not. Maybe they have expanded their reach beyond their ability to quality control and have high consistent standards. The servers were friendly and attentive enough. In a city full of options, Isoletta has the opportunity to offer something unique and impress their guests with something great. On our visit, it was good, but next time we might give somewhere else a try.

Unfortunately, it's not comparable to the restaurant of the same name in Frankfurt. A Caprese with watery, pale tomatoes, with no salt, pepper, or olive oil on it, is simply unacceptable. Rarely has such a careless presentation been experienced, a bit like someone had just quickly grabbed a tomato from somewhere around the corner, tossed basil over it, and it was done. Not recommended in our opinion.

With fast and friendly service, everyone who served us showed great care and attention to detail. Lucca (the owner) is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are very tasty and well-served, both in quality and quantity. I recommend the BISTECCA ARGENTINA and SPAGHETTI ALL'CARBONARA.

5 stars – absolutely deserved! We celebrated our wedding anniversary dinner at Isoletta Steak & Pasta – and were thrilled! The ambiance, service, and food: everything was top-notch. The appetizers (vitello tonnato and gamba papaya) were outstanding – the sauce for the gamba papaya was simply the best we've ever had at an Italian restaurant. The main courses (lance en el toro and pepper steak) were perfectly cooked, accompanied by perfectly matched wines by the glass (Malbec & Merlot). Dessert: super-fresh panna cotta, superb tiramisu, a bit too creamy for us – with more biscuit, it would have been perfect. To finish, we were treated to a free limoncello and a mini tour of the vaulted cellar – a wonderful surprise! We were not only full and happy, but we're sure we'll be back!

Online reservations are available, which is very convenient. The ambiance was chic and elegant. The food was also very tasty; the fillet was cooked to perfection, and the tuna was also excellent. The prices are high, but fair for the quality. We'd be happy to come back :)

Best steak in years and the pasta was fantastic!

This restaurant is aimed at the mafia. If you want to watch the gangsters sitting and being served in front of you, this is the restaurant for you. I was so upset that I don't even remember eating. I need more hands to give this restaurant four thumbs down.

Steak & Pasta impresses across the board: authentic food, a fantastic atmosphere and service that is professional, warm and wonderfully humorous - you immediately feel at home! The pasta with shrimp was a poem - al dente, aromatic and lovingly prepared. The starter was also delicious and elegantly served. As a final highlight: a heavenly pistachio panna cotta – creamy, light, simply perfect! The wine recommendation was also a hit – perfectly matched to the dish and presented with a lot of know-how. The stylish ambience with the opulent ceiling and warm lighting makes the restaurant ideal for a romantic evening for two.

A gem in Wiesbaden. The boys can eat meat, fish and pasta. Attentive and friendly service. Feel free to accept recommendations from the staff (the salmon tartare and the wine were great). The ribeye was on point and very well seasoned. Side dishes excellent. All in all a great evening. Absolutely nothing to complain about. You can see the prices beforehand, so no complaining later. On the contrary - they deserve a good tip. We like it - keep it up - see you next time - thank you.

The service is great, you come in and are greeted straight away and given free fresh bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, olives and a mayonnaise. The prices are not cheap but fair. The ribeye was perfectly fried and seasoned well. I can recommend the surprise dessert plate.

Der Isoletta Burger war der beste Burger, den ich je gegessen habe (außer vor -zig Jahren einmal auf dem Land in den USA).

Das Essen war sehr gut, Teller Nudeln um die 20€. Service war flott, die Musik war etwas zu laut, aber der Ober hat diese dann anstandslos leise gemacht.

I made a spontaneous reservation for 4 people and still got a table. We were served VERY nicely and the food was simply a culinary delight. The Isoletta Steak House and Pasta in Wiesbaden is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in the city! Meat lovers in particular will get their money's worth here. The fillet steak from the lava stone grill is simply divine - it's rare to find such perfectly prepared meat. The homemade pasta is also an absolute delight, which as an Italian I can only confirm. The wine list is excellently put together and offers a fine selection from the best wine regions in Italy. The ambience is breathtaking - high ceilings, fresco paintings and modern, cozy furnishings immediately put you in a holiday mood, as if you were in Italy. Special praise goes to the boss Luca, as well as service staff Fabio and the team who offer first-class service. Your commitment contributes significantly to the feel-good atmosphere. For dessert we enjoyed a variety of homemade delicacies, including a gorgeous pistachio panna cotta, parfait and chocolate soufflé. The lemon sorbet, prepared at the table in summer, is another highlight. We are regular guests and can only warmly recommend the Isoletta Steak House. A culinary oasis in Wiesbaden that is second to none!

With my wife on our way back to Italy we stopped to have dinner in this beautiful place. Opened and managed by young Italians, they have been able, with professionalism and courtesy, to build a typical Italian atmosphere with a choice of high-level dishes. We recommend everyone to try a culinary experience and entertainment skills.

Siamo passati per caso davanti al ristorante e ci ha subito colpito lo stile l'eleganza. Il titolare Luca ci ha accolto con grande affabilità, da italiano ed essendo italiani anche noi, ci ha subito accolto con grande calore. Purtroppo il locale in quel momento era chiuso, ma ci ha intrattenuti raccontando la sua vita e il suo amore per la ristorazione. Una persona cosi innamorata del suo lavoro non può che proporre eccellenze. Alla fine della chiacchierata ci ha offerto da bere e anche donato una bottiglia del suo buon vino italiano. Che dire, lo cosiglio vivamente, sono un intenditore e assicuro, anche senza aver provato le specialità della cucina (famosa è la sua carne argentina) è certamente un'eccellenza della città, si evince già dal garbo e passine culinaria del proprietario!

Very authentic atmosphere and very tasty food! My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here last night and were completely satisfied! Our steaks were very tasty and tender as butter. The salad and side dishes were also very tasty. The dessert at the end was also a dream. In addition to the good food, the very friendly and humorous staff also impresses. The very beautiful and authentic ambience rounds off the overall picture perfectly. We almost felt like we were in Italy! 👌🇮🇹 For us it was the perfect restaurant in Wiesbaden for a special evening for two. GRAZIE MILLE ISOLETTA!!! 😊

Amazing food and service, possibly the best in Wiesbaden. Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the creamed spinach was incredible. Highly recommend!

Haben nach einen guten Steak House gesucht und sind von Mannheim auf den Isoletta Steak und pasta in Wiesbaden gestoßen. Ein super lokal, schönes Ambiente und Personal bemüht sich die kundenwünsche einzugehen. Uns wurde ein sehr tolles Wein empfohlen was wunderbar zum Argentienischen Fleisch harmoniert hat. Sei es vom essen oder den dessert variationen ist für jeden was dabei nur zum weiterempfehlen. Der weg hat sich gelohnt kommen gerne immer wieder.

Went there as a group of 3. Expected good things, because of the high rating. Our server, Luka was attentive and helpful. We were definitely underdressed, but nobody on staff had the bad taste to mention it. Our reserved table was ready when we arrived. We had 2 steaks and 1 Salmon, all were absolutely fantastic. Perhaps the best of each any of has has had. The salmon was done perfectly, nice crust and flavor. My filet was outstanding. The sides were likewise done perfectly. All the details were exactly right, from the seasoning to the presentation. Our deserts were likewise excellent. Can't recommend Isoletta highly enough. Dress a little above street urchin and go enjoy a truly fine meal and some excellent service.
