El Bigote Mexican Steakhouse in Hanau

Unfortunately I have to revise my review! The food is still top notch and the service is attentive! However, yesterday I paid 9.50 for a “Virgin Mojito”: a 0.3 glass with 5 ice cubes, water, sugar, lime juice and a bit of mint. Sorry, that's just outrageous! No restaurateur should be surprised if people only drink water or don't come at all! My suggestion that this was probably a bit exaggerated was simply dismissed. Very tasty and a very friendly and attentive boss! Happy to come back!

This restaurant is my clear, absolute recommendation. A pleasure through and through We usually drove to Frankfurt or Aschaffenburg. But now we have a favorite around the corner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The mustache, I love this place!! I am Mexican and I am in Hanau for a while. Since I met this place it reminds me of my beautiful Mexico. Each dish is authentic Mexican, the flavor, color and aroma...the portions are abundant and everything is super delicious. The food was very good, but the team was a bit overwhelmed. The warm appetizer was on the table before the drinks. At this point we had already been in the restaurant for 30 minutes.

That was super tasty! The starters are ok, but not as great as the main courses. The drinks are particularly great (aqua de fresa and aqua de - something with rice and cinnamon -. You can even have them mixed. A dream!!!). We will definitely come back often!

The best Mexican food I have ever had. Recommended shrimp tacos, Tacos al pastor and cuts of meat. The 300g fillet I ordered was cooked to perfection. It was a wonderful night. The attention was excellent.

Mexicans are mostly like that. Often overpriced with small portions and usually under the motto 'If it has corn on it, it's Mexican'. Recommended by a Mexican friend, I went to El Bigote for the first time yesterday. The ambience can certainly still be worked on, but the food, price and service are good. There was a lot going on, so reservations are advisable. My fajitas - super tasty. A little chunky due to the cheese and just the way I like it. The portion size was filling. The guacomole was a little too creamy for me. I like it chunkier. But the taste is great. The service was super friendly. At the end there was a tequila on the house. Am I coming back? Definitely yes. What am I missing on the map? A nice IPA. Even if it's just the Punk IPA.

The best thing was the service, I 100% recommend the quesabirrias and flautas. We will definitely return to try more dishes on the menu and it was a great surprise to find a place that felt like Mexico in Germany. I recommend making a reservation, since otherwise there is no place.

First time there today. I discovered the restaurant by chance because I wanted to go to a Mexican restaurant. There were two of us there. It's a small but nice shop, the service and food were great. I was asked several times if everything was okay. We'll definitely be back. :)

I had the pleasure of visiting the Mexican restaurant “El Bigote” and absolutely loved it. The ambience was cozy and inviting, with authentic Mexican decoration. The food was simply amazing. The guacamole was freshly made and tasted delicious, the tacos were seasoned perfectly. I also tried a margarita and it was the best I've ever had. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and very helpful in choosing dishes. If you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine in a cozy atmosphere then this is definitely the place for you. I will definitely come again!

It was a really nice experience from start to finish in a really great atmosphere with super-friendly staff. The food was ultra delicious and a culinary delight. The price/performance ratio is 100% I was at El Bigote for the first time today and will be happy to come back more often because I was so pleasantly surprised that the location immediately made it into my favorites list. One of the best restaurants in Hanau!!! There is a large selection of dishes and drinks and also a very large selection of delicious cocktails. The food and drinks were brought to the table very quickly. The staff was very friendly and the ambience was nice. Great value for money, the portions of the starter and main course were very large and super tasty. I can especially recommend the birria tacos, one of the tastiest dishes I've eaten in my life!

Food taste different than what I'm used to. (In a good way). Tacos is good but I find it too heavy, it's good for sharing. Location is also good, easy to find parking. Can pay with card. Very child friendly. Service is great. Will definitely come back again next time.

Wir waren an Silvester dort. Überschaubare Karte (was ich gut finde) und auch an die Vegetarier wird gedacht. Das Essen war sehr Lecker. Preislich hält es sich im Rahmen und ist der sehr guten Qualität gerechtfertigt. Auf alle Fälle Empfehlenswert!

Ich war vor ca 1 Woche dort es ist ein sehr nettes Familien unternehmen. Der Service war gut und auch das Essen hatte eine große Auswahl und war lecker wir hatten eine Vorspeise nachos überbacken mit guacamole danach enchiladas und Steak zum Abschluss noch ein Dessert eine messianisch/ spanische creme. Preise waren super und auch die Größe der Portion top. Wir waren zum ersten Mal da und werden bestimmt nochmal hin.

endlich wieder ein guter mexikaner in hanau. das essen ist authentisch, und es gibt neben mexikanischem bier aus der flasche auch diverses vom fass, unter anderem auch irisches hop house. ich war diesen freitag dort, und weil es sich angeboten hat gleich am samstag abend nochmals, jeweils mit 2 unterschiedlichen freunden. die meinungen waren durchweg gut. nur ein paar mücken im innenraum am hinteren tisch in der ecke haben beim 2 besuch zu beginn die stimmung etwas gedrückt 😓 dies dürfte aber kein standard sein.

El mejor restaurante Mexicano! The food is delicious, and has a true Mexican flavor. The service is very good, Sabine and her husband are very friendly and attentive and the place is very nice and comfortable. My recomendation? Try the "Quesabirrias", they have become my favorite dish! We come from Mexico, and this is our happy place when we miss our beautiful country!

Wundervoll authentisch geführtes Restaurant mit einer tollen Chefin und einem brillanten Küchenchef. Übertrieben? Ganz und gar nicht. Ich bin schon, als die amerikanischen Soldaten noch in Hanau stationiert waren, gut mexikanisch essen gegangen, aber diese Küche und diese grandiosen cocktails 🍸 übertreffen alles. Die Steaks sind der Hammer. Es lohnt sich aber auch, jedes weitere Gericht auf der Karte auszuprobieren. P.S. Das Service Team ist toll und sehr aufmerksam. Ich werde da wohl Stammgast.

Neues Restaurant und neues Team. Eines weiß ich: Der Koch ist sehr gut! Wir haben noch nicht alle Speisen durchprobiert, aber auch auf den Nachbartischen sah es sehr ansprechend aus. Das nächste Mal essen wir Spareribs, die wir von Freunden probieren konnten. Die Portionen sind groß, aber notfalls kann man den Rest mit nach Hause nehmen.

Die besten Tacos, die ich je gegessen habe. Das Essen und der Service sind ausgezeichnet, die Cocktails auch. Man merkt, dass sie sich um jedes Details kümmern. Ich möchte so bald wie möglich wiederkommen.

Wir waren heute Abend (Sonntag) zu zweit ohne Reservierung im El Bigote. Die Chefin persönlich hat für uns unkompliziert ein Plätzchen gefunden. Die Wein- und Bierauswahl ist umfassend und besonders empfehlen können wir den roten, halbtrockenen Malbec und das Hop House vom Fass. Die Servicekraft hat den Wein entsprechend der Hauptspeise ausgesucht und damit ins Schwarze getroffen. Die Portionsgrößen sind im Angesicht der aktuellen Preise angemessen, an der Menge und Qualität des Fleisches wird nicht gespart. Das Essen im Gesamten ist sehr ausgewogen gewürzt, man schmeckt die Liebe bei der Zubereitung :) Die Salsas haben uns überzeugt. Das Essen ging direkt ins Herz. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder und bedanken uns für einen entspannten Abend!
