Mega! We chose our own meat: fillet and beef skewer and saw how it was prepared on the grill. It was super tasty, the service was very nice. We'd love to come back.

What a brilliant evening - a super friendly, hospitable boss, attentive and dedicated service, terrific steaks and side dishes, an excellent salad and a top-notch American cheese cake. A perfect evening all around, thank you for that!

From the reception to the food, service and ambience, everything was just right. Just reading the map makes your mouth water. While you wait, you can watch the meat dishes being prepared. The boss makes you feel warmly welcome. Be sure to order dessert - these are also perfect and not too big. Really great - we'll be back.

Had a really great evening here with good friends. The reception was very, very friendly and the service was attentive the whole evening. Very good advice when ordering dishes. Unfortunately, you rarely experience something like this. Starter, main course and dessert were completely harmonious and simply great. A special highlight was the grill station in the middle of the guest room. The ambience is unbeatable. We definitely recommend The Grillhouse.

We spent our anniversary at the Grillhouse today and were happy to take the 50km drive because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations weren't quite met because we probably got the wrong time (8 p.m.)/the wrong day. Even before the main course was served, we were asked if we could please pay as the waitress was “stressed” with the kitchen as the cash register (it was 8:50 p.m.) was due to be settled. During our main course (which was really delicious), the chef started cleaning the “show kitchen” right next to us and preparing everything for the end of the day. We had the feeling that we had to clear the table quickly because the staff wanted to finish work. It's a shame, that's not how we imagined our anniversary - we spent the drive home (we were in the car around 9:30 p.m.) feeling quite upset in the car because we felt totally rushed and unwanted during our stay. We would have liked to have enjoyed the evening comfortably and without stress. As good as the food was, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We were in the new location for the first time on Tuesday, but otherwise we were always in Haimbach at regular intervals. The food is still amazing and just super delicious. The new location looks great, but is somehow completely different from what it was like in Haimbach. So we will definitely continue to come to you. Big praise to Eugen and his team!!!

The food and warm manner of Chef Eugen deserved more than 5 stars. We like to come with the whole family and enjoy the food in the Grillhouse. Since the move there is significantly more space in the restaurant and the atmosphere is very inviting. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

We came spontaneously and without a reservation. The shop was completely full, but we were allowed out onto the terrace. Because the wind was picking up, we were immediately provided with blankets. The staff was super friendly and super on the ball. The boss is a size in himself. I haven't experienced such great passion for my own establishment in a long time. Always a relaxed saying on the lips and an infectious smile. I don't know how to describe the store. On the one hand, absolutely high class and noble and on the other hand, super comfortable and family atmosphere. Some restaurants could take a lesson from this. Now let's get to the food: the starter arrived super quickly and I was almost in tears. It's been a long time since I've had such flavors and perfection in my food. The rib eye would be cut in our presence and thanks to the camera above the grill you can watch your steak being grilled. We ordered English and it was top on point. A real culinary delight. It melted in your mouth. The side dishes are in a class of their own. We were given great advice and were more than happy. Dessert was a chocolate cake with flambéed crème bruleé ice cream. Flambéed at the table. An absolute experience, through and through. We have reserved a table for next time. The two hour journey is totally worth it.

Totally nice service, delicious food and open to experimental cuisine

I think we just had a bad day. The meat had little taste of its own and would have needed significantly more salt and a little more color. It was quite tough and, even with the chimichurri (which, to be honest, we had imagined differently), it was a rather disappointing experience. For €50 I definitely expected more. Service was ok, Fanta had hardly any carbonation left. We probably won't come back again.

We had dinner here on Friday evening and had made a reservation. We sat together on the terrace, which is also very nice. We were quickly welcomed by a young, nice waitress who gave us the cards and was quickly back with us to take our drink request. When the drinks were served, our meal request was immediately taken into account. Of course, we then had to wait until our food was ready. In total we waited 45 minutes, which is understandable since the food is freshly grilled. The restaurant was also busy, so waiting wasn't a problem. The food was then served to all of us at the same time and most of it looked delicious. Personally, I had the spare ribs and the bacon fries with fried onions and chili cheese sauce. It was tasty, but I found the ribs very dry and unfortunately a bit bland. The fries were also just OK. The service was also great and was quick to clear the table and bring us new drinks. Paying by card was no problem and we were greeted in a friendly manner. Maybe we just had a bad day, but we'll happily try again another day.

A real surprise, you don't expect from the outside what is revealed on the inside. Through the pub to the grill lounge, that's a creative spin! The offer is convincingly simple, beef meat in three versions, already presented in the glass counter. Directly behind it is the grill master's workplace, preheating cabinet, an open charcoal grill and space for serving. What the pitmaster conjures up there will make your mouth water for days afterwards. Simply fantastic! The eastern interpretation of chimichurri with cabbage was not my thing. And what killed the mood was that the pitmaster and service were at loggerheads. Still a great experience, definitely enough reasons to come back here and collect new impressions. Thanks!

Nice little grill place. A little higher priced, but that's normal given the current meat prices. Top good and competent service. By using a smoker, delivery takes a little longer, but this only improves the quality of the dish. So I'll be back here next time. Unfortunately it was an absolute failure. We visited the location for the first time and certainly for the last time. The ambience isn't really nice, but you could ignore that if at least the service and the quality of the food were good. The boss of the house feels superior and infallible above all others, which can also be seen in the answers here to negative reviews. If you make a complaint you will receive a mushy response. The burger was fried to death and not medium as my companion had requested. Unfortunately, my steak was as tough as shoe leather in places. This can definitely happen, but complaints should also be acknowledged when prices are so high. It's embarrassing how guests beg for positive reviews.

Type, origin, method of preparation and possible herbs or spices. We knew immediately that he not only knows his stuff, he LIVES it. The order was placed with a very friendly service. She really looked after us. The drinks came promptly and a little later our starter. This gave us an idea of ​​what was to come, as it was extremely tasty. Carpatccio with rocket on white bread. The thinly sliced ​​beef was tender, juicy and delicious in its own right. We then had a fillet steak, English or medium-rare. Here too, this restaurant was convincing because the cooking times were not only known, but also adhered to perfectly. Plus home-made herb butter and baguette browned on one side. Colorful pepper gave it a little kick and the coarse salt added a little crunch. The taste explosion was ready with every bite. Overall, the restaurant that delivered the best meat, best preparation coupled with the best taste in a large number of visits nationwide. However, if you're expecting a total of €80 here, you should probably eat somewhere else. Quality has its price here and, to be honest, I was happy to pay for every gram. It could also be difficult at times for children under 10 years of age. The dishes are designed for adults. But a robber's plate will certainly do the trick. The bottom line for me is a star-worthy meal with top quality and reasonable prices. Clear recommendation for connoisseurs who want to get to know the next level.

We come from Kassel and ended up at the Grillhouse by chance when we were in the thermal baths in Künzell. Simply amazing! Super nice service staff, the girls give their all and still remain super friendly when they are stressed. The food is second to none! We had burgers and grilled ribs, the best ribs I've ever eaten. Even if we live further away, we will definitely come back here!
