Super tasty steak restaurant with live cooking selection of meat from a counter (if you want). Meat from New Zealand. The fillet steak was buttery tender. The boss, Laura, has the shop under control and knows the ropes. Overall tip top!

Simply successful, a big thank you to the whole staff. This evening, after a long time, I was once again convinced of good gastronomy. Whether the waitresses, the cook or the boss himself, everyone performed extremely well. I was there for the first time today with my friend and we were thrilled. As a former waitress, I couldn't find anything to complain about, even with a critical eye. We immediately asked if there was anything available for Christmas because we wanted to take our whole family with us, and even then, despite the rush, a solution was found. Only love for you, we will be back 🙏🏼

I was there for the third time with two friends. The first time the food and service were excellent. Unfortunately the grill was already off the second time and the meat was just fried in the pan in the kitchen. I ordered 350g fillet medium rare. The meat was as tough as chewing gum and therefore completely gray on the inside, exactly the opposite of what I wanted. However, things were no different for my friend. Meat also different from what was ordered, namely just like mine, completely cooked through and 60% of his rump steak was just fat, cold fat. The third time we visited the Grillhouse we wanted to give the Grillhouse 1 last chance and I invited 3 of my best friends to buy them a meal for my birthday. The food came at completely different times, meaning one person was already finished eating when the others hadn't even gotten their food yet. I ordered 400g rib eye steak, plus herb butter, the grill house fries and a herb baguette. Everything arrived on the table already cold. The herb butter was completely over salted and you couldn't eat it. The herb baguette was rock hard and inedible, an outrage. Well at least the beer tasted good. Well, at the end of the day I paid €180 and we went to the kebab shop afterwards because you couldn't eat half of the food and you didn't feel full, so it was a complete waste of money. If we had gone straight to the kebab shop, I would have saved a lot of money and everyone would have been full. Despite everything, it is a very nice shop from the inside with a direct view of the grill. The chef usually comes to the table and tells the guests something about the meat, but this wasn't the case with us either. The waitress was very friendly and attentive, you could see that she really knew what she was doing. Conclusion: Nice restaurant, but always a 50/50 chance whether the food is either the best you've ever eaten or just complete garbage and for the price you shouldn't take such a risk and you should always be able to assume that it's better, Unfortunately, this is not the case with this restaurant, which is why The Grillhouse doesn't deserve a fourth try for me and I'd rather eat somewhere else for the money. PS: If you want to take beautiful photos of food, it's worth a visit, but if the taste is more important than the appearance of the food, you're definitely in the wrong place.

I chose this restaurant to eat out after a bodybuilding championship. We were warmly welcomed with a “Nice that you came” and this warmth continued throughout our entire visit. The owner explained the food to us in detail. You can also watch the meat on the grill via screens. We have never experienced service like this before. Then the food came. We had the Truffle Surprise and the Fat Man Burger. Plus BBQ wings and loaded fries. For dessert, the Amarican cheesecake with crème brulee and chocolate ice cream. Everything beautifully prepared and with excellent taste. Definitely a recommendation for every meat lover!! Happy to come back!

After dinner we ordered the “Grey Goose” vodka. We could immediately tell that this wasn't the vodka we ordered. After a long discussion with the waitress, she brought us the bottle and lo and behold, it was “Belvedere” Vodka and not the “Grey Goose” we ordered. The waitress couldn't explain where this bottle came from. Apparently the vodka was supposed to be on the house, which would have been appropriate given a total bill of €365. The boss then forbade this and we had to pay for the vodka we didn't want. This incident was in addition to a wait of almost 2 hours. This was definitely our last visit to the restaurant.

Been there for the second time. The quality was very good, this time the service was much better - but last time we visited our group was twice as big, this time there were only about 20 people. That's a challenge for the kitchen and service - especially since the pieces of meat are cut and weighed as desired. If you don't have to look at the euro, it's definitely a very good address. It was our first time eating here and we were warmly welcomed by Laura, who was there to help and advise us throughout the evening. Gave us great culinary tips! From the shrimp to the steak to the bedside table, everything was delicious.

There were 9 of us there and it was probably a really bad day. They made it possible for us to get a place, but after that the run was fine. The crowd wanted to eat burgers and we were told that the buns weren't there. When we suggested that we only serve the patties with fries, the kitchen rejected this. My choice then fell on a shish kebab skewer, which turned out to be a pure meat skewer without any onions or peppers. I may have misinterpreted the skewer. It wasn't served as a skewer but in small pieces. The meat was good and juicy, see picture with two pieces. The steaks were good but didn't really help me personally. Maybe it was an evening of a day that went well and from then on almost everything was over.

******************************** Very very very good cuisine. You can look at the meat before it is prepared and then watch it being prepared on TV. It is grilled with a real wood flame. The processing was very good, the meat was very, very tender and marinated very well. The side dishes were also great. I and my wife can only highly recommend it.

Eat: Patty for the burgers completely cooked through Burger bun cut way too thin at the bottom and way too dry, sweet potato fries soggy, ribeye ordered medium rear, inside medium dry outside, chili chesse sauce with hardly any chili in it, garlic sour cream ordered and horseradish cream was in it. Iced tea is served warm and the cheesecake is nothing and is so expensive. Service: Fiona and Laura were very friendly, but the entire staff lacked foresight when it came to service. They walked past empty glasses several times. The older lady at the table didn't ask if you wanted anything else and when you wanted to speak, she was gone. The older gentleman who is standing in the show kitchen doesn't seem to enjoy his work at all, he just gets dirty looks, not a friendly grin, guests asked at the display case what meat is which, there were only short, unfriendly answers when asked about the origin, no answers at all. The concept of the open and friendly kitchen has probably been completely abolished. Ambiance: You come in and feel invited to eat there. At the beginning it was a bit cold in the restaurant. The show kitchen is a real eye-catcher, the view behind it. Unfortunately, not even the counter was cleaned the entire time. Unfortunately we weren't there for two years due to time and illness. Before that, however, regularly. I wanted to do something good for my wife after all the hardships and then you experience that. We used to leave your restaurant completely satisfied and happy, but today we're unfortunately a little very disappointed. Unfortunately, we won't be coming anymore as long as nothing changes. P.s. The neighboring table and an older gentleman had a similar experience.

It was very nice there again with very friendly service and very tasty food. I can really only recommend it. Not exactly cheap, but I'm happy to pay a little more for the freshly prepared food and good meat.

Unfortunately, you rarely experience something like this. Starter, main course and dessert were completely harmonious and simply great. We spent our anniversary at the Grillhouse today and were happy to take the 50km drive because of the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations weren't quite met because we probably got the wrong time (8 p.m.)/the wrong day. Even before the main course was served, we were asked if we could please pay as the waitress was “stressed” with the kitchen as the cash register (it was 8:50 p.m.) was due to be settled. During our main course (which was really delicious), the chef started cleaning the “show kitchen” right next to us and preparing everything for the end of the day. We had the feeling that we had to clear the table quickly because the staff wanted to finish work. It's a shame, that's not how we imagined our anniversary - we spent the drive home (we were in the car around 9:30 p.m.) feeling quite upset in the car because we felt totally rushed and unwanted during our stay. We would have liked to have enjoyed the evening comfortably and without stress. As good as the food was, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

We were in the new location for the first time on Tuesday, but otherwise we were always in Haimbach at regular intervals. The food is still amazing and just super delicious. The new location looks great, but is somehow completely different from what it was like in Haimbach. So we will definitely continue to come to you. Big praise to Eugen and his team!!!

We came spontaneously and without a reservation. The shop was completely full, but we were allowed out onto the terrace. Because the wind was picking up, we were immediately provided with blankets. The staff was super friendly and super on the ball. The boss is a size in himself. I haven't experienced such great passion for my own establishment in a long time. Always a relaxed saying on the lips and an infectious smile. I don't know how to describe the store. On the one hand, absolutely high class and noble and on the other hand, super comfortable and family atmosphere. Some restaurants could take a lesson from this. Now let's get to the food: the starter arrived super quickly and I was almost in tears. It's been a long time since I've had such flavors and perfection in my food. The rib eye would be cut in our presence and thanks to the camera above the grill you can watch your steak being grilled. We ordered English and it was top on point. A real culinary delight. It melted in your mouth. The side dishes are in a class of their own. We were given great advice and were more than happy. Dessert was a chocolate cake with flambéed crème bruleé ice cream. Flambéed at the table. An absolute experience, through and through. We have reserved a table for next time. The two hour journey is totally worth it.

I think we just had a bad day. The meat had little taste of its own and would have needed significantly more salt and a little more color. It was quite tough and, even with the chimichurri (which, to be honest, we had imagined differently), it was a rather disappointing experience. For €50 I definitely expected more. Service was ok, Fanta had hardly any carbonation left. We probably won't come back again.
