We had our first experience in 2019, then actually forgot the name so couldn’t remember which restaurant it was. Returned a few weeks ago for a celebration of our Friend’s retirement and the food was still amazingly great. A restaurant that can keep the great standard alive over 5+ years is worth the visit! Planning to go back very soon.
It was a Chili’s so the food was exactly what we expected as far as flavor, but it was very fresh and this one unlike others overseas was not out of anything. The service was excellent though not expeditious so if you are in a rush definitely order to go.
The last time we were here was 10 yrs ago. This is our second time at Ramstein and I totally hyped this place up. I talked about the wait staff, the warm bread with table side olive oil salt & pepper dip and the food.
We had to ask for water, bread and the olive oil dip. The bread was cold and hard like it’d been sitting out and already drenched in oil.
The mama trip looked like it was microwaved. The lasagna was dried and crispy on the edge and it looked like they were trying to fix it up by dumping more marinara sauce on it. The chicken was cooked well and the Alfredo tasted like instant sauce. I was also surprised by the calamari. It’s not the lightly dusted and fried ones I remembered.
Our waitress was really good but it took forever to ask for our check. We gave it a try and will probably not be back.
This restaurant has a good selection of food and a very nice ambiance. The service here was very friendly and we felt very welcomed from start to finish. We had the cream of mushroom schnitzel and Chicken Cordon Bleu. The cordon Bleu was great, probably the best we have had in the area. It was nice and fluffy, and not overly salted. The schnitzel was decent. The coating was soggy and not very crispy compared to many other places I have had it. The meat was also a little on the tough side, but the sauce topping it was quite good. Overall, we would definitely eat here again, and it is worth a try.
Unfortunately a disappointment.
Asparagus soup was quite ok
Side salad was actually almost the best of everything. It was actually pretty quick at the table, but I had to wait a good 50 minutes for the main course.
Cordonbleu was completely dry and the breading tasted completely burnt from the cheese that was no longer in the meat.
Spaetzle nothing special and sauce ok.
So I was hoping for something better for the money...
We ordered a takeaway. Food was delivered promptly, hot, and everything was there. Spent €90.
The curries were extremely salty, lacked flavour, and were pretty much inedible. They only had an option of white rice, which was bland and unseasoned.
Worst curry I have ever eaten, I will never go back.
Unfortunately, the parking lot was very full, but that's because the Rammstein Air Base is nearby, and that's normal. But otherwise, everything was fine; there was nothing to complain about.
My husband got food poisoning from a hamburger! We ate lunch at Woodlawn, and quickly noticed a few glaring issues. It took anout 20 minutes just to get our food, then after it was lacking in flavor and had a distinct soggyness. About an hour later my husband was very sick! I'm a pregnant woman and very much thankful that I didn't try his bland burger bc apparently it was not safe to eat.
We ordered food that never arrived. When we called, the man on the phone said it was a mistake on Lieferando's part, but the order was accepted and never delivered.
Well, we're still hungry and the supplier is closed!!!
