Great place to eat while on base.

Ate here on March 26, 2024 and April 3, 2024. Food was excellent! Just as good as the German restaurants we dined in while in Bavaria. Wonderful goulash, goulash soup, sauerkraut, and schnitzel. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.

Schweinebraten Knödel and Blaukraut, never had worse than here. Knödel cold inside, Meat thick slabs of what appears to be Kassler thick fat layer on top, crispy crust almost none existant, gravy artificially thick, bitter, no not Beer flavor, obvoiusly package, Blaukraut at least taste remotely like Blaukraut, but cooked to mush..... All in all awefull. Never again.

Awesome place , a perfect representation of a beer garden inside a BX? This is it, perfect to grab some food and awesome German beer specially if you are connecting between cities or bases

I have ate here quite a few times now and always left satisfied. The food is good and the staff is friendly. The best part is probably the interior of the restaurant. ☺️

Pasta was a little over cooked and coffee with milk was only creamer instead of milk, but otherwise the atmosphere was nice and family friendly

It's the German Cracker Barrel. It's comfort food; Nothing wrong with that. If you expect gourmet, go to Paris and shut up. You wont get gourmet for less than $50. If you want a nice simple sunday brunch, or a nice simple dinner after a long workday, this is the place.

Do yourself a favor and go off base for real German food first. This ain't it.

Decent German cuisine in the Ramstein Air Base Exchange. Very large portions. The best part is their staff is very friendly and they are open until 9pm!

The cashier (young blond hair) indicated that she don't speak German. However, her English was pretty bad as well. Felt uncomfortable ordering.

Really good German restaurant located conveniently in the Ramstein Air Base Exchange mall. Large portions, almost too much, I saved half of my Jagerschnitzel lunch for a later dinner. The have a selection of Beer as well.

Food was great and so were the staff. We ordered a mix of things that included bratwursts, pretzels, soup, kids chicken nuggets and drinks. The decorations inside for Christmas was a nice touch, the table runner and greenery on the table were a treat. Best food and experience in the BX.

I love Hausbrau. The lines are much shorter than the fast food places, and its got the best burgers on base. Cashiers are friendly and it has tradiational German food with good portions.

Lol somehow I’ve been walking past this place for over a year now and didn’t even realize it existed! Huge portions and the jagerschnitzel was crispy and delish. Karen’s potato salad wasn’t bad either. Very good bratwurst with 3 huge sausages. Very authentic taste and good draft Weizen. One of the best options in the food court

I am in love with the schnitzel sandwich. It's so good! Every time I come to Ramstein I come here to get a schnitzel sandwich and they are always delicious. The salad and coleslaw that comes with the sandwich is really tasty as well!

Large portions, great food and beer

Most of the food is very good and large portions. Second time I tried the chicken breast salad and disappointed both times They a great homemade dressing and a large portion but the chicken breast appears to be deep fried and for way too long. They are dry and chewy. If they would cook it differently to where the chicken is tender and juicy, it would be a winner. UPDATE: May 30 2022: still no change to the chicken....still dry and chewy. Such a shame because the rest is good.

Great food. It's really nice to have great German food that is conveniently located on base with extended hours. It was my first introduction to German food. At first I was surprised by the large portions but its light not heavy on the stomach. The people working there are very kind. Great place 👌

I ordered the Beyond Meat burger and discovered too late that I was given the Munich burger. It tasted very beefy but with Beyond Meat, you never know, so I didn't suspect anything until I found a piece of what smelled like pork on the burger and thought to check the receipt. By then I'd already eaten most of it. I have an adverse reaction to the amino acid leucine and as much as I love meat, I can't eat it. I'm extremely unhappy that I unwittingly ate beef and am not looking forward to my body purging it for the next week. To be fair, it was an excellent burger. I'm sure it was a perfectly innocent mistake, but that's not an acceptable mistake to make. If I hadn't eaten it already i would have taken it back. EDIT: the owner was very responsive to my review and made every effort to make amends. I was given a free burger and felt that my concern was taken kindly. Not everyone would have been as understanding about my situation, so I appreciated that very much. And the second burger turned out great.

Pretty good food overall, the beer was cold and the brats were delish! The sides were a tad on the plain side but that's pretty typical for German food I think. The sauce was very good also!

My family loves this restaurant! Great German food and such friendly restaurant staff. We miss going for beer here (no beers because of lockdown) but hope on going back because the beer and service is that great! Kids love the Nuremburger Bratwurst and the schnitzel. For an Amazing burger try the Munich burger.

Best food we have had since being in Ramstein... all of 4 days... but living in a hotel means we eat a lot of take out. The customer service was great, the order was filled fast, and the food was great. I just wish they offered delivery.
