Hong Kong 97 in Ramstein-Miesenbach

Ordered a takeaway. Truly one of the worst meals I've ever had. I really wish I'd bagged it all back up and taken it back to the restaurant for a refund. But unfortunately I didn't because I couldnt be bothered with the aggro. The only thing we could manage to eat was the chips and the wonton. I ordered the Beef and broccoli, the beef was a jelly like texture and the broccoli didn't even need chewing it was that over done. I dread to think how long this had been sitting out. Sweet and sour chicken wasn't much better. Egg fried rice was slimy. Altogether I'm annoyed at myself for spending my money on this. I would take a photo but I threw it straight in the bin.

This evening I ordered from Hongkong 97 via Lieferando. The food arrived quickly and very hot. As if it couldn't be better, it tasted good and to add some extra glitter, we were given 4 delicious mini spring rolls. Thank you very much

Everything I ordered was disgusting. The pork fried rice tasted like the pork they used was maple flavored bacon from the commissary. The General Tso’s chicken was drowned in a tomato based pepper sauce, and instead of giving me the crab rangoons I ordered, they gave me some greasy, disgusting flavorless fried dumpling with pork in it. I ended up binning everything I ordered.

The chicken curry was excellent. My wife's chicken and vegetables was good. Our oldest got a chicken with sweet and sour sauce. We've had the sour sauce before there, but this, time was different. Way to much vinegar, or something was off.

The ambience of this Chinese restaurant has a house entrance, hallway atmosphere, the service was nice. The main courses are not completely fresh, only the vegetables are marinated and are served from the canned food, including the ready-made sauce, mixed with the vegetables. Fried chicken is also not of good quality. Overall dingy and the toilets..oh god! The prices are unreasonably high. I can't recommend it. As stated, it doesn't deserve 4 stars.

I order from these guys all the time and I figured I should leave a TripAdvisor review. Their food always comes very fresh and warm and the quantity is very filling, especially for the price. I’ve yet to dine in, but I love their delivery service. This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area for sure.

As always, the food to go was fresh and very tasty, thank you! Therefore, a clear recommendation from us during the Corona period, hang in there

Beef was disgusting and tasted like fish, spring roll tasted like old fat, but the cherry on top was the long hair in the rice. Never again

We regularly order from a well-known provider who has an orange app! The driver is so sweet and nice, you just want to cuddle her. On the whole the food is always very good, every now and then there are a few mistakes like tough duck meat, incorrectly delivered food but I'm not that picky about that, all in all one of the better Chinese in the area.

Let us deliver something often. Quality has decreased significantly. I ordered my beef Sichuan style extra spicy, but it wasn't. Spring rolls taste like stale fat. It was probably the last time we ordered there.

Wir hatten über Lieferando bestellt. 2 mal Mini Frühlingsrollen, 2 mal Dim Sum (gedämpfte Fleischklößchen & Chinesische Maultaschen) , 1 mal Chop Suey Hühnersuppe, 1 mal gebratene Nudeln, 1 mal Ente Spezial Hong Kong Art, 1 mal paniertes Hähnchen mit gebratenen Nudeln & Ei sowie 1 mal Sambal Oelek. Lieferzeit war mit 59.min angegeben nach 40.min war das Essen da. Für Samstag Abend top. Hierfür wäre ein extra Stern 🌟 nötig. Nun zum Essen: Das Essen war soweit sehr gut. Garzeiten etc...perfekt. Einzig die gebratenen Nudeln sind ausbaufähig. Keine Röststoffe vom anbraten, kein Gemüse wie bei anderen Asiatischen Restaurants. Diese sind definitiv ausbaufähig daher beim Essen nur 4 Sterne 🌟 . Zum Ambiente vor Ort können wir nichts sagen da wir den Lieferdienst genutzt haben.

Leider nicht mehr so gut wie früher. Was mich aber richtig verärgert hat, ist die Tatsache, dass das große Schild vor dem Restaurant immer noch anzeigt, dass Donnertags über Mittag ein Buffet „all you can eat“ für 6,90€ angeboten wird. Dass der Preis so nicht mehr stimmen kann, ist mir völlig klar und darüber würde ich auch nicht meckern. Aber wenn man seine Familie einpackt um das Buffet zu genießen und es dann heißt, dass es das nicht mehr gibt, ist das ärgerlich. Ohne großen Aufwand könnte man das auf dem Plakat überkleben und damit wäre das Thema erledigt. Aber als ich heute vorbei fuhr, stand es immer noch da. Einfach ärgerlich. Das Restaurant selbst ist leider, wie schon öfter erwähnt in anderen Rezensionen, nicht mehr zeitgemäß und wirkt schmuddelig. Beim Essen, war die Qualität Teils/Teils. Hab ich schon deutlich besser gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, super schnell und Getränke wie Essen waren schnell da. Ich habe schon öfter bestellt zum Mitnehmen und muss sagen, dass das Essen mir früher viel besser geschmeckt hat. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste und ich sehe auch selten jemanden drin sitzen. Die Suppe auf dem Foto war übrigens nicht gut. Hat undefinierbar ein bissl vielleicht wie nach Ketchup geschmeckt. Die 8 Kostbarkeiten waren in Ordnung

There food is amazing for the price, it is acutely authentic and the staff are super nice, and sometimes they even give you tea, i recomend the crab ragoons

Wir haben dort 2-3 mal bestellt und es war einfach Hammer !!! Das Essen ist einfach super und es gab sogar noch Extras wie Krabbenchips und Mini-Frühlingsrollen kostenlos dazu. Die Wartezeiten waren verglichen zu anderen Heimservice relativ schnell.

Bekam das Essen leider lauwarm, fast kalt. Ich kenne es wenn ich Hähnchen süß -sauer bestelle, das Gemüse drin ist. Leider nicht. Einfach nur gelbes Zeug ( nicht indendifizierbar ) Soße und 4-6 kleine Stücke Ananas. Cola schmeckte überhaupt nicht. Leider zu viel bezahlt für ein fast kaltes essen. Haben sehr abgenommen was das Essen betrifft, die waren echt mal gut

Really liking the fact that the owner took the time to listen how I wanted my food prepared and presented it as ordered. Food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. Minimal alcoholic beverages offered. Will return soon to dine again.

Ordered drinks, appetizers and main entrees all at the same time and it took way too long to get each order. There was only two of us, but the drinks were brought out one at a time after a wait time of 10 minutes (with one table about to finish, another table that had ordered just before us, and two couples that had ordered as take out. The Crab Rangoon was overcooked. The soups were tasty and hot, so they were probably made fresh - the reason they took so long to get to us? Main entree of Kung po chicken well seasoned and had lots of cashews. The General Tso's Chicken was loaded with way too much broccoli and chicken that had the taste and feel of being processed. I should've taken the sauce and mixed it over everything because the sauce only had pockets of spice. Maybe the thought of enjoying each other's company is by design of the restaurant as the takeout orders went a bit quicker than our orders did (even though they had to wait close to 30 minutes for their orders without anyone else in the restaurant). All in all, if you call your order in you'll probably get it in the same time as if you dined in. Might try it again to give them another chance; but there's so many other places on the list to try that it's going to be awhile before getting back there.

Just stopped through on the way back to Spang and had dinner here. Glad we did! Nice atmosphere and great service with a smile. I had the Singapore style fried noodles, so yummy, and hubs had gen tso chicken which he said was delicious also. Would recommend and will be stopping back if ever in the area again! :)

Good food, good service. That's the quality I look for in every Chinese restaurant I have the pleasure of eating at. Won't blow your socks off, but the food hits the spot for a weary and hungry traveler who would like to keep things cheap.

Hallo. Habe über Lieferando bestellt und es war alles sehr gut. Bestellaufnahme im Internet natürlich problemlos. Die Lieferung war mit 58min angegeben( Samstag abends 18 Uhr ) und war in 45 min bei mir angekommen. Der Lieferrand war freundlich. Das Essen war heiß und alles perfekt. Ich hab schon öfter dort bestellt und nie Probleme gehabt, gerne wieder.

Got takeout. As an American, in the US you cannot go wrong at any Chinese restaurant with orange chicken and general tsos. 97 could not get it right with the cut of the meat or the sauce. Will not go there again but the takeout service was 5 stars

Kann ich wirklich nur empfehlen, das essen ist nicht zu teuer und schmeckt gut.

Pains me to say…. But. Prior to Covid this used to be my favorite restaurant in the Ramstein area. My favorite dishes were Kung Pao Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. They were both about 50% chicken. I’ve been at least a half dozen times post-Covid and you are now lucky if you get 10% meat.

Überaschend positiv fällt die schnelle Lieferung aus. Das wars aber auch schon! Die Spezialität des Hauses General Tsos war weder scharf, noch war das Hühnchen angenehm zu kauen. Es war viel zu trocken. Die gebackenen Wan Tan waren tot fritiert und triefen nur so von Fett. Änderung der Beilage kostet übrigens 1 € Aufpreis. Diese Info habe ich im Bestellprozess vermisst.

Wir müssten bei Essen die Jacke anziehen, so kalt war es.Essen günstig aber nicht der Hammer.Bezahlen mit Karte wurde mir verwehrt.Rechnung wurde gezeigt und wieder mitgenommen. Wiederholungsfaktor 0.

Wir suchten wieder unser lieblings China-Restaurant Hong Kong 97 in Ramstein auf. Gerade in der Corona Zeit halten wir zusammen. Wir hatten Essen to go, Menü M2 so wie Bratreis mit Hähnchen und Bratnudeln mit Hähnchen. Alles wieder sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Das Team war wie immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Dankeschön weiter so! Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant auch 2021 klar weiter!

I write a lot on TripAdvisor because I travel for a few decades and have seen quite a lot. I often keep it straight forward when restaurants serve bad food or the service is bad but the food served here is nothing to write home about. I have often worked and lived in Asia and know how good Asian food is and can be because a lot of love is put into the food. There was actually nothing in this and I just paid the bill and took my wife to a typical German restaurant called Weberstübchen. For me the best place to eat in Ramstein Miesenbach.
