Maharaja Indian Restaurant in Ramstein-Miesenbach

It's a great place for people who have never had an authentic Indian food because they won't be able to tell the difference. But for those who know what I'm talking about, and been in india, - you'll be greatly disappointed.

We ordered from this place on the Lieferando app, so we have not experienced the inside of the restaurant. However, food was good, delivery fast and easy. Would absolutely eat or oder from here again!

Service was terrible came in took 10 minutes for anyone to greet me, then someone said they will be right back didn’t see anyone for 30 minutes so we just left.

Worst Indian food I have ever had. Especially the mango curry. The staff was good though, restaurant not very clean, we will not be back.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with a great ambience. The food tastes very good and fresh. The staff is always very friendly. You immediately feel comfortable.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic cheese nan and samosas for delivery about an hour ago. It was darn good. Especially the samosas. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is quaint, and the staff was quick to respond. I indicated that I wanted my butter chicken very, very mild because I am extremely sensitive to any kind of spice right now. When the food came out, I couldn't eat past two bites because the butter chicken had more spice than I could handle. I ordered some mango chicken curry and was given mango curry sauce, which was much easier to eat. I liked being able to dip my Naan into the sauce. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and will try again when I can handle a little more spice.

Absolutely terrible food. I've never had worse. You will be lucky not to get sick. Even the naan is bad. The service is amateurish as well. On top of everything, it's very expensive. Avoid this place!

When my family and I first dined at Maharaja the food was absolutely wonderful. Some of the best Indian food I've ever had in Germany. However, when I ordered the food for take out it was as though the food was made by a completely different and far worse restaurant. The Naan was obviously pre-made pizza dough, and the curry for my Lamb Korma, my wife's Palak Paneer had the same exact sauce - which tasted like plain tomato soup. My wife outright refused to eat her meal. I honestly think the restaurant uses inferior food for take out and delivery. But they bring their "A" game for customers who show up to dine in because their complaints can actually be heard by the staff. I want that good food that I had the first time, not that weird stuff they served me for take out.

Excellent place to get some really good Indian food. They have a very wide selection of drinks appetizers main courses and desserts. The owner was very polite and attentive. The floors were clean and so were the restrooms. I ordered a curry and it was fan-freaking-tastic. I would recommend this quaint and cozy little restaurant to anyone that enjoys a good meal with lots of flavor. Their Chai was very good as well.

CASH ONLY!!! They take Euro, American, and Indian. The food was okay but not great in my opinion. The worker spoke English and was very nice. The place has roughly 8 tables and is pretty small and cozy.

Slow service. Food was ok. Dirty dishes left on other tables for a long time.

I was disappointed for a number of reasons. 1. This is a cash only business…..we are living in the 21st century folks…..start accepting bank cards (debt/credit), it’s safer than cash and it helps prevent money laundering and ensures everyone pays their taxes! 2. We lived the the Middle East for over a decade, the food was a poor example of the Indian cuisine available in India or the Gulf States. However, it was not too shabby for German standards. The nan is not like what is available in India. We also asked for Punjabi spicy but received “German spicy” (which is no spice whatsoever)! 3. The owner seemed like a nice man and was talkative with the guest. However, the primary waiter had zero command of English or German. I had to resort to my limited Hindi to communicate to which the waiter replied “Punjabi no Hindi!” A two star rating is very gracious for this establishment and well deserved!

Schönes kleines Indisches Restaurant im Zentrum. Schönes Ambiente und indische musikalische Begleitung. Das Essen hat uns allen super geschmeckt. Lob an die Küche ! Wir hatten als Vorspeise die 6,7,8 und als Hauptspeise die 25 und 39. Dazu noch leckeres Naan. Einziges Manko war das auf dem Tisch sowie den Stühlen noch wenige Krümel lagen. Sonnst war alles spitze!!! Kommen gern wieder. (Wir waren im Restaurant essen, es gab aber auch eine Lieferoption)

Das Fleisch war definitiv kein Lamm. Schade.

Hab schon bedeutend besser gegessen. Das hier hatte kaum was mit indischem Essen zu tun. Geschmack eher mittelmäßig. Bedienung konnte kein deutsch und kam unfreundlich rüber. Das war leider unser erster und letzter Besuch.

Food was great. Servers speak English but we’re a little slow. Also note Cash Only!

Naan was flat. Sauce was like flavored water.

Wie immer war das Essen lecker. Wir kommen wieder.

No ac, but the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious! They don't take card at the time of this post unless you order online through leiferando. They do take euros and us dollars.

Idk why all the poor reviews. Their food is absolutely amazing. Especially if you like chicken Tikka masala with mouth watering garlic naan bread.

Food is meh, butter chicken sauce varies can be good can be water. But their delivery service is horrible as it take away, there is no reason I should walk in to an empty restaurant with employees sitting at a table while my order took 1.5 hours same with delivery nearly 2 hours.

Gestern habe ich das Tandoori Chicken und auch das Butter Chicken bestellt. Die Bestellung kam in der angegebenen Zeit bei mir an und der Lieferdienst war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Auch das Essen war noch schön heiß und geschmacklich sehr lecker. Leider bin ich mit der indischen Küche und Ihrer Aromapalette nicht genug bewandert um die Glasscherbe in meinem Butter Chicken zu verstehen. Eventuell soll diese für den extra "Crunch-Effekt" sorgen und verleiht dem Gericht beim Essen einen gewissen Nervenkitzel. Alles in allem habe ich aber vorzüglich gespeist. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder bestellen, wenn ich das nächste Mal Lust auf ein besonderes Altglas-Dinner-Erlebnis habe! Fünf Sterne!!!

love love love their food, tasty, robust and rich. I also once had an a glass of a perfectly balanced red wine and asked for the bottle and not only I got one bottle but two!! Their prices was so worth it. Definitely will be coming for me

Consistently very good Indian food.

This was our first time trying Indian food and I thought it was very flavorful and delicious. The restaurant feels like you are in someone's home and they treat you that well also. Will definitely go back to try more.

Mega lecker das Indische Essen. Es gab auch leckeres Milchreis aufs Haus. Trotz der klirrende Kälte 🥶 im Laden gibt es 5 Sterne da einfach das Essen so gut ist. Ich freue mich schon im Sommer vorbei zu kommen 😃 Bis dahin 👋

The food was okay the last time we went there. I would not go so often here for eating Indian food.

I had the Chicken Tikka with Garlic Naan. The naan was a little bready, but the chicken tikka was DELICIOUS! Plus it's a family owned place with super friendly staff. I will definitely eat here again.

I don’t know what’s going on. I don’t know if they changed management, cooks, or something, but the food does not taste the same at all. I need them to go back to the other people.

Great food! The samosa is phenomenal! Soon good and fast service and they easily accommodated my toddler with an adorable high chair!

If you have ever had Indian god in the United Kingdom or he Middle East you will be sadly disappointed with the quality and the taste, probably the worst Indian food we have ever had, we didn’t even finish the meal...

日曜日の午後4時に行った為、店に客は私達だけでした。辛いのが苦手のため、ラムのマイルドなカレーとナン、大好きなチャイを注文しました。とても美味しく、量もちょうど良かったです。小さい子供達も一緒でしたが対応も親切で子供達にデザートもサービスしてくれました。是非また行きたいと思います。
