Quite expensive, but otherwise pretty good.

Delicious food, delicious beer, very friendly, nice service, cozy atmosphere, prices reasonable.

I went there with my husband (who uses a wheelchair) and my mom. The food was very good and the price/performance ratio was completely reasonable for these days. But what stood out was the service; it was so friendly, something you don't experience every day. It actually deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. Thank you🙏

A wonderful place to relax, offering numerous different saunas and even a cold chamber. The Meri Sauna facilities are lovingly furnished and maintained. The beautifully landscaped garden, with its natural pond for swimming, is a soothing treat for the soul. Something new is constantly being created, and it's a success every time. The fact that the infusions are now accompanied by music takes the experience to a whole new level. Thanks to the excellent restaurant, even working people don't go home hungry after a sauna visit. My only suggestion would be to equip the quiet relaxation room—great that it exists!—with beds like the "normal" one—but that won't be relevant again until winter anyway ;-) Overall, high praise and many thanks to the Meri Sauna team for their fantastic work over the years!

Unfortunately, a truly unpleasant experience! We received a voucher for this hotel as a gift. It was issued and paid for during the coronavirus pandemic. Afterward, we tried several times to redeem it by phone, via the booking system, and by email. Apparently, it was always too short notice and always fully booked. Unfortunately, we were never given any available dates. After a while, we called again, as the voucher would otherwise expire, and we became more assertive. Initially, the hotel refused to budge. It wasn't their problem that we couldn't redeem the voucher. We pointed out the repeated attempts and the "special" feature of the booking system that doesn't display fully booked dates. We also didn't want the impression that they didn't want the voucher to be redeemed. The lady of the hotel was audibly annoyed that she was now being asked to send us available booking periods. Suddenly, however, it all seemed possible after all. The voucher was extended for five months. However, we weren't feeling good about this. We arrived and were greeted "friendly": "Yes, I know who you are." And were immediately asked to show the issued voucher, as otherwise we wouldn't be able to redeem it. We didn't know what it would look like, but we were able to show the original receipt including the voucher number. According to the lady of the house, this wasn't sufficient, as the voucher could be redeemed by other people. (What nonsense, since it would have expired after this weekend anyway, and that would be easily traceable in the booking system.) We were prepared to provide a declaration that we were redeeming it, which could also be submitted in writing. According to the lady of the house, however, she wasn't always on site to check this. Furthermore, it was her right to insist on the voucher. This went back and forth for a while. Finally, I asked on what legal basis she was claiming that without a physical voucher, she couldn't accept the redemption. The lady then became quite annoyed. She didn't want to stoop to that level and had her experience with me on the phone. I was neither loud, nor insulting, nor unfriendly. I simply asked neutral questions. Apparently, we'd struck a nerve. Suddenly, it worked out that we could stay after all. According to our voucher, which, as mentioned, was extended, we had a bathrobe and a 4-course meal. The bathrobe was no longer included (for whatever reason). For the 4-course meal, you couldn't indicate in advance whether you had any allergies or intolerances. According to the hotel, the kitchen decides the menu. I'm actually a vegetarian. In countries where this isn't possible, I also opt for fish. And now, in this hotel in Germany, too. We accepted because we simply wanted a vacation and found this petty war unworthy of a hotel. At breakfast, we were asked every five minutes if we wanted anything else from the buffet, as they were clearing away. Breakfast was supposed to be open until 10 a.m. After asking three times at 9:45, we said we were ready. Really great atmosphere... The rooms are a matter of taste. However, they're not particularly appealing to young people. We wouldn't recommend it.

Excellent place to have a good time accomponied with perfect traditional german dishes. Because we travel a lot & always taste local cuisine we're good in this. My wife feedback is the best beef cheeks she ever tested before !!! It'really nice to see the excellent hospitality - chef came to ask everything is ok ?) Everything was excellent ! Thanks a lot for your hospitality.

Unfortunately, the steak au four wasn't that great in terms of taste. It was pretty overcooked and tasted so-so. Luckily, they served it with Worcestershire sauce, which improved its flavor. The goulash with red cabbage and dumplings, on the other hand, was better.

The food was very good. But the waiter who served us was world class. Very attentive, very quick and discreetly reserved. A clear recommendation from us!!! Thanks again to the waiter

Even after moving to the new location, it is immediately a place to feel comfortable, you can also find some of the inventory from the old Jedermann there. Everything in itself seems authentic. A nice, large dining room, the staff is very friendly and the food is simply unbeatably good, home cooking that tastes good at unbeatable prices... We felt very comfortable there. There's a radio playing somewhere in the corner and there are also games for game nights.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant in ruhiger Lage. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch mitten im Lokal. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und rascher Service rundeten den Besuch ab.
