Restaurant "Zur Linde" in Markkleeberg

We had a business lunch at the Linde and were thrilled with the service! The reserved table was lovingly prepared and we received a warm welcome. The staff was extremely polite and the food was excellent. All in all, an absolutely enjoyable recommendation!

A difficult assessment. Service and how the table is set does not match the prices quoted. The food is good to very good. However, the Ragout Fin is made with too many mushrooms. There wasn't enough sauce for the tender roast beef. It wasn't possible to reorder that evening because the service didn't ask if everything was okay. After the meal we asked late whether we wanted dessert or coffee. You should urgently rethink your cutlery. The knives are not particularly sharp. I had to “cut” the bottom burger bun. What has more of a canteen feel and doesn't work for me at all are the paper place mats. Seems cheap and more helpful for service. If you have placemats, then you should offer ones made of fabric.

Christmas 24: Goose breast with 2 dumplings and red cabbage (€32.50!). Goose breast neither in pieces nor in slices, only small pieces like leftovers, with very little sauce after about 1 hour. Waiting time. Big disappointment! Ambience good, service very nice and quick.

We were visiting Markkleeberg-Wachau from the Black Forest and stopped for dinner at the Linde on the first evening. The atmosphere was rustic and cozy, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. But the best part of our visit was definitely the food. There is good German cuisine, you can taste that everything was freshly prepared and the food is more than worth the price. We definitely recommend the Restaurant Zur Linde and would come back there at any time.

We had reserved online the day before. Worked great. A friendly waitress led us to the table, which showed our reservation by name. A very personal reservation that we really enjoyed. Food and drinks were of a very good quality. The Wiener Schnitzel is delicate, as well as loose and airy breaded. This is what a veal schnitzel should be like. Plus, potatoes tossed in butter. The roast beef in Burgundy sauce, a dream. The meat fell apart in the mouth. The dumplings were tossed in butter crumbs...simply delicious. And the red cabbage...like nuts. Plus the great sauce, which could have been a little more...😉 Afterwards I treated myself to a crème brulee. She also met all expectations. The appealing ambience of the house rounded off the evening. Thanks to the whole team. We'd love to come back again.

The last time I was in the Linde was years ago. But it's still so beautiful there. We sat outside because the weather was wonderful. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone was nice and friendly. The food was also excellent. The Linde is certainly not one of the cheaper restaurants, but you can afford it every now and then. I found the non-alcoholic drinks in particular to be very expensive. But all in all it was a nice evening.

Very satisfied. Every ingredient, whether vegetables, burger meat or bacon, was perfectly cooked/fried and seasoned. What should be emphasized is that everything was of super fresh quality. Definitely recommended.

Great restaurant, with a great ambience and often very busy - definitely justified! Friendly waitresses, always interested in the well-being of the guest. Fine menu on which every dish is excellently prepared with an adequate, not too unusual wine selection. Reservations are mandatory, even during the week it is often fully booked (it's easy to do online, another bonus!).

Anyone who just wants to have a drink in the beer garden will be rudely asked to leave.

The selection of the menu is not huge, but the food is tasty. Still I think it's a bit overpriced for what you get. I also felt a bit not welcome due to the way we look like.

We were there for lunch on a Sunday! The house seemed full, the menu and the ambience were great. The staff was also nice and accommodating, everything was chic :) Drinks came quickly and the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer were very tasty! Unfortunately the meal took a while, about an hour. That was a real shame! It was incredibly delicious! The menu had a great selection, everything was beautifully prepared and the portion size was good too :) All in all it was a nice experience, only the hungry wait was a bit stupid :)

We have known the Linde for a very long time and have never been disappointed. The staff is always courteous and very friendly. The dishes are of high quality, well prepared and taste great. Went for a birthday dinner this time. As a starter we chose salad and garlic bread. The main course was the two kinds of gnocchi and the giant rösti with salmon. All highly recommended. A visit to the Linde is always something special. Thanks to the team!

Ich bin seit Jahren Stammgast. Gern nehme ich Besuch mit in die Linde, weil ich weiß, das wird wieder ein Hochgenuss. Ich liebe das Essen und die Preis-Leistung stimmt für diese hochwertige Küche. Ich mag die familiäre Art. Alles im Allen ein MUSS, wenn man in Leipzig gut essen gehen will.

Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich. Das Essen wird sehr ansprechend arrangiert. Die Qualität des Essens ist hervorragend. Das Rumpsteak war auf den Punkt gegahrt. Wir werden sicher noch öfter hier essen.

Wir hatten Glück und bekamen auch ohne Reservierung einen Tisch. Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Nach dem Essen kam zu unserer Überraschung, ein tolles Dessert . Vielen, lieben Dank für die wunderschöne Überraschung. Es sooo lecker und ganz toll präsentiert.

Das Essen war sehr lecker! Auf der Karte war für jeden etwas dabei. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Ich konnte mich zwischen 2 Gerichten absolut nicht entscheiden. Also hat die Bedienung vorgeschlagen, einen Mix aus beiden Essen zu machen. Und was soll ich sagen es war unfassbar lecker. Der Zander war perfekt und der Rest auch. Und am Ende wurde es noch nicht mal extra berechnet das aus 2 Gerichten eins geworden ist. Wenn wir in der Nähe sind kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder her. 😊

Bin seit langer Zeit mal wieder in der "Linde" gewesen. Es hat sich nichts verändert, Essen super, Personal freundlich, Biergarten schön, was möchte man mehr?

Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert! Tolles, familiengeführtes Restaurant mit sehr angenehmen, leicht rustikalem Ambiente. Viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten, auch für Familienfeierlichkeiten gut geeignet. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Die Bedienung freundlich und flink. Relativ große Speise- und Getränkeauswahl, bei allerdings überdurschnittlichem Preisniveau. Alle Speisen optisch sehr ansprechend, frisch und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet. Direkt an der Kurve einer Hauptstraße gelegen, aber gute Parkmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Gern wieder!

Wir waren am Mittwoch, den 23.08.23 zum Abendessen in der Linde und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam , das Esssen Spitze und das Ambiente tadellos. Wir werden das Lokal weiterempfehlen und auch selbst wieder gern dort reinschauen.

We ate here for lunch on Sunday. The service was great, the toilets and tables very clean and the food was absolutely exquisite! We had the wok nudes and the gnocchi (vegetarian) followed by an ice coffee and the creme brulee, all of them amazing. On top of that the atmosphere on the terrace as well as inside is lovely.

Von Anfang bis Ende wurden wir von der herausragenden Qualität des Essens und dem vorzüglichen Service beeindruckt. Das Essen war nicht nur für das Auge ein Highlight - es war einfach großartig! Für den Service können wir nur lobende Worte finden. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Jeder Wunsch wurde prompt erfüllt. Insgesamt war der Besuch in der Linde ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertraf. Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem kulinarischen Erlebnis sind und dabei noch einen erstklassigem und sehr herzlichen Service genießen möchten, dann ist dieses Restaurant definitiv die richtige Wahl.
