Cossis in Markkleeberg

Sah am Anfang etwas unspektakulär und schlicht aus, mit Kunstblumen auf dem Tisch. Aber das Essen und die Getränke (Salate, Brot und hausgemachte Limo) waren mega lecker und überraschend große Portionen. Der Service war sehr gut, alle freundlich und entspannt, bis der Chef den Laden betrat, es wurde "Kritik verteilt" und alle waren auf einmal nervös und angespannt. Schade, war ohne den Chef wesentlich gemütlicher! Da es eigentlich keinen Grund zum meckern gab.

Ich war am Cospudener See und wollte mir bei der Hitze lediglich ein stilles Wasser und eine Kugel Eis holen. Dass für 0,5 Liter stilles Wasser 4,90 € verlangt werden und eine Kugel Eis zusätzlich 2,00 € kostet, empfinde ich als völlig überzogen. Für mich stehen diese Preise in keinem Verhältnis zur Leistung. Gerade bei einfachem Wasser wirkt ein solcher Preis unangemessen und hinterlässt den Eindruck, dass die Lage am See stark ausgenutzt wird. Zusätzlich waren die Angestellten aus meiner Sicht sehr unfreundlich. Bei derart hohen Preisen sollte zumindest ein freundlicher und respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen selbstverständlich sein. Insgesamt war der Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist für mich nicht nachvollziehbar, der Service war schwach und es gibt am Cospudener See andere Bars, die deutlich fairere Preise haben. Dieses Lokal werde ich definitiv nicht mehr besuchen.

Wir haben dieses Lokal nach 40 Minuten, ohne gegessen oder getrunken zu haben, verlassen. In der gesamten Zeit wurden wir von der zuständigen Kellnerin nahezu komplett ignoriert (nach 20 min nur Karten bekommen). Es war offensichtlich kein Versehen, sondern absolute Absicht: Der Nebentisch, der erst 15 Minuten nach uns ankam, hatte bereits sein fertiges Essen auf dem Tisch, während wir nicht einmal Getränke bestellen durften. Man gab uns hier unmissverständlich das Gefühl, als Gäste unerwünscht zu sein. Wer so herablassend und unprofessionell bedient (oder besser: ignoriert) werden möchte, ist hier richtig. Für uns war das der erste und definitiv letzte Besuch. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Wohnen wo andere Urlaub machen,fast täglich sind wir hier und genießen den Ausblick und das schöne Wetter.

Auf nachfrage ob die hollandaise selbsgemacht sei wurde bejaht; sie machten nahezu alles selbst. Naja; braune soße zu den spätzle war auch haarsträubend. Sonst soweit so gut, service war sehr freundlich und schnell.

Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Cafés und Gaststätten fällt man nicht direkt in Cossis. Man muß am Office des Hafenmeisters vorbei und dann öffnet sich das stylische Restaurant mit der schönen Terrasse direkt an der Marina. Aussicht toll, Service freundlich und aufmerksam, Essen lecker. Meine Empfehlung: der Goat Cheese Burger. Und weil zu einer guten Kritik auch a bisserl Jammern auf hohem Niveau gehört: beim Würzen darf die Küche gerne mutiger sein....

Wir haben heute unserer Mutti ihren 50. Geburtstag hier gefeiert. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und auch das Ambiente ist an sich sehr hübsch. Getrübt wird das Bild leider durch wirklich pausenlose Ansagen wann man zu gehen hat. Die Gaststätte hat bis 22 Uhr geöffnet. Bereits 19:30 als wir kamen wurde schon auf den baldigen Küchenschluss hingewiesen und ab da bei jedem Mal wieder und wieder. Die Krönung war dann wirklich der Satz "Ich muss dann auch noch saugen und wischen." Man muss dazu sagen, dass die Kellnerin wirklich sehr freundlich war und der Service an sich passte aber immer diese Anmerkungen: sind jetzt endlich alle da, nur bis 21:05 etwas bestellen, ich würde sie jetzt gern abkassieren... Also ich bin wirklich fasziniert wie man auf so freundliche Art und Weise so unhöflich sein kann. Im übrigen auch der Herr hinter der Bar.... Aber schön ist es trotzdem nicht sich von Anfang an so zu fühlen als ist man nicht willkommen. Sehr schade da das Essen wirklich grandios war. Ich komme selbst aus der Gastronomie und würde nicht nochmal kommen. Bitte schreibt 21 Uhr an die Tür wenn ihr 21 Uhr keine Gäste mehr da haben wollt.

Der Besuch im Restaurant ist aufgrund der wunderschön Lage und der netten und zuvorkommenden Bedienung wie ein Kurzurlaub! Wir kommen gern wieder!

Wir waren schon öfter dort. Ambiente und Service sind topp. Die Speisekarte war ein bisschen verändert und Essen war ok.

Wir waren gestern hier essen und sind genau zur Stoßzeit gekommen es war ziemlich voll. Ein junger Mann hat uns super freundlich empfangen und gesagt, dass gleich eine Kollegin zu uns kommt. Am Anfang haben wir uns von ihr ein bisschen übersehen gefühlt, aber bei dem ganzen Stress war das absolut verständlich. Was uns aber besonders aufgefallen ist: Der junge Mann war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und einfach sympathisch. Trotz des Trubels hat er eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre geschaffen. Alles wirkte gut organisiert und er hatte auch die kleinen Details im Blick genau das, was den Unterschied macht. Das Essen war richtig lecker und kam auch zügig. Man merkt einfach, dass hier gut gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Beim nächsten Mal vielleicht sogar mit ein bisschen Spanisch 😄 Den Namen des jungen Mannes kennen wir leider nicht, aber er ist uns und meiner Familie definitiv positiv in Erinnerung geblieben. Klare Empfehlung und die Rippchen sind besonders lecker! 🔥

Spontan waren wir heute im Cossis. Die positiven Bewertungen können wir nur bestätigen. Sehr netter Service, sehr gutes, frisches Essen. Interessante Weinauswahl. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in der Gegend sind.

Trotz der großen Anzahl an Personal wirkte alles sehr unorganisiert. Bestellungen konnten nicht eindeutig zugeordnet werden, und die Getränke wurden erst nach dem Essen serviert. Zudem fielen die Portionen teilweise recht klein aus – für einen normalen Hunger nicht ausreichend. Auch die Rechnung mussten wir mehrfach anfordern. Positiv hervorzuheben sind jedoch das schöne Wetter und die tolle Aussicht.

Wir sind unverbindlich, auf der Suche nach einem offenen Restaurant zum Montag, hier eingekehrt und waren total begeistert. Viele Pastagerichte klang jetzt nicht aufregend, aber das was der Küchenchef und der Service dann geboten hat war richtig hochwertig. Klasse, wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Nach dem abendlichen Besuch am 04.10.2025 im Cossis ,möchte ich sagen.Trotz nicht mehr so schönen Wetters.Hatten wir 4 und ein kleiner Hund einen super Platz am Fenster mit schönen Blick auf den CospudnerSee & Hafen. Die Burger mit Pommes und die Rippchen waren richtig lecker.Und was für große Portionen.Mein Jalapenos Burger war richtig scharf und da ich gern scharf esse.War es genau das Richtige. Und auch die Limonaden waren sehr lecker. Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich.Man musste auch nicht lange warten !!! Da kann man wieder hingehen... 5 Sterne

The location is great; you can sit on the terrace and have a drink and a bite to eat. The fish and chips were also delicious. Unfortunately, the waitresses look at you askance if you don't have a reservation, even though we were practically the only guests outside. They then artificially search for a table even though almost everything was free. You can do that, but it doesn't go down well.

A very relaxed lakeside restaurant with friendly service and a delicious selection of good bowls and other tasty treats. Definitely recommended if you want to enjoy a delicious meal in a relaxed setting by the lake.

This was my second time eating here, and it's by far the best restaurant on Lake Cospuden. The food is top-notch, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance (lake view) is simply amazing. 👍 I highly recommend it, and I'll be back 👍

We had a starter, main course, and dessert. We also each had a lemonade. We received prompt and friendly service. The food also arrived promptly, and we felt very comfortable. We sat outside on the terrace. We had our dog with us, and that wasn't a problem either 😅 Thank you so much :)

Hospitality still needs to be learned here. There's no welcoming culture. With approximately 18 unoccupied tables (the terrace had exactly 6 guests), you're assigned a table for two in the blazing sun. After we, two people with a dog, asked for a table under the parasol, we were at least offered the option, albeit very rudely. "The sun shines there too," the waitress said. When we then stood in front of the many unoccupied tables (none had a reserved sign), all of them were suddenly reserved. The impression that the young man had reserved the one table for us from the beginning and was subsequently annoyed that we didn't want it led to us now sitting at the Seehaus Cospuden. There we received a friendly, open-minded, and hospitable welcome. You'd better go there.

Cossis, located directly on the lake in Leipzig, is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to combine good food with a stunning view. We were particularly impressed by the exceptionally friendly and attentive service – we felt welcome and well looked after from the very first moment. From a culinary perspective, we were particularly impressed by the salad: fresh, crisp, and made with lovingly selected ingredients. The highlight, however, was the homemade dressing – a sophisticated, Asian composition with a subtle spice that gave the whole dish that special something. An all-round successful visit that we can wholeheartedly recommend – not least for the combination of warmth, creativity, and the lake view.

The kids' nuggets are a great value! A large portion of fries with homemade chicken breast nuggets! They're really great! The burger was OK, but could have been a bit better if the patty looked a bit more homemade (perhaps smashed better?) and wasn't so overcooked. Upon request, the meat wasn't from the convenience store, but was actually freshly cooked. That's why it gets 4 stars overall. Unfortunately, the "freshness" of the meat didn't really come through. For the price, the salad garnish was a bit poor, and the fries were too small. Service was sparse in the afternoon, but perhaps it was during shift changes.

The food was quite good, and the seating by the lake was very nice. However, guests who arrived later, and on several occasions (including larger groups), received their food much earlier. Even though we were there at 6 p.m. with eight people, we asked after 75 minutes when our main course would be arriving. The answer was, "The chef doesn't work in order of priority." The restaurant was a bit disorganized.

We were here for the first time since it was called Cossis. It was the destination of our lakeside tour, and we had a bowl and a burger. It was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere here, along with the pier, was very nice.

Bad service who barely spoke German. We wanted a bill for our order because after we'd paid, there were still drinks left. The discussion went on for ages and they just handed us the EC receipt, even though this should be a given. I paid something and wanted the bill. When a German-speaking colleague finally came, it was sorted out. Regardless, from 9 p.m. onwards, they were the only customers. The music was turned down, everything was cleaned, and the windows were all thrown open in 10-degree heat, as if to say, "Please, go away."

We went to Cossis for a family celebration in May 2025. After a friendly greeting, we sat relaxed right by the water. There was something for everyone on the menu. It was very tasty. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'd love to come back.

We were there for the first time today. A meeting with the children living in Leipzig. The food was great and the service was very friendly. We had our Labbi dog with us. She was immediately offered water. Highly recommended. Gladly again.

Beautiful restaurant with a holiday feeling thanks to the view of the lake, boats and a great sunset. The food was very tasty Unfortunately, it became very restless in the restaurant from 8:45 p.m. onwards because people were busy cleaning, clearing out and closing the kitchen. We still had a good time and will definitely stop by again.

Great ambience at the lake, nice staff...but my free swimmer bowl wasn't worth anything. In the description it sounded great, in reality it was a huge portion of sticky rice, a bit of onion, mango chutney (I was expecting fresh mango), some heavily fried salmon, a few vegetables/salad but very manageable and a small half avocado. The proportions and quality were not right for me at all.

We were here for lunch with friends on Sunday, had a nice spot on the terrace until the cloudburst. All guests were politely invited inside and there, in the full restaurant, operations continued in an optimally regulated manner by the very attentive staff. A big thank you to the friendly staff in the service area and in the kitchen, who did full justice to this unusual situation. We look forward to our next visit here.

5 stars for the location! The Cossis offers a beautiful view of the lake. The food was very tasty and the service was friendly. One small point of criticism: The selection of regional beers could be larger, as unfortunately only the “international/large” breweries made it onto the menu. Otherwise a great place to relax and enjoy.

Mostly very good reviews drew us here. Well-known 1 A location, very well frequented, very friendly and service-oriented staff. Our dishes: 1 x burger with sweet potatoes, 1 x advocado with salmon. The burger was tasty, but not what was often praised here, Actually there is very little meat, so it's impossible to cut the roll with a normal knife. the fries too soft, For €17 it's a bit too expensive. The advocado dish with salmon was ok, but nothing more. The prices of the drinks were adjusted to the location. The bottom line is a nice, busy restaurant with friendly, good service. The highlight is just the location.

Very tasty food and attentive and friendly staff. Had the spinach dumplings and the breaded cauliflower. Portions are reasonably large and ingredients are fresh. We would eat there again and again. Price/performance definitely given.

*Eat* Well made and tasty burgers. No comparison to fast food chains. You can either order steakhouse or sweet potato fries with the burgers. I would like to particularly highlight the buns of the burger because they are of exceptional quality. Of course the quality also has its price. You can't go here for less than €20 per person. *Service* Nice personel. You didn't have to wait long for your order either. If the dishes are too dry for you, you can use the additional sauces that are on the tables. Addendum: Unfortunately I have to deduct 2 stars for the service. After I checked my bill, I realized that I had overpaid. I ordered a non-alcoholic shandy. Instead of a Radler, however, I was charged for a non-alcoholic beer, which is more expensive. When we ordered the burger we were offered the option of having sweet potato fries instead of regular fries. If the staff offers this, then you should also mention the additional charge. After looking carefully on the map you will also find the note, but it is not next to the burgers. You should write it on the menu with the burgers and not somewhere random with the snacks. *ambience* The restaurant is located in the harbor of Lake Cospuden. From the patio you have a view of the boats that are in the harbor. We found it very comfortable.

The Cossis is a nice restaurant with a nice ambience, because it is right on the water of the lake. The service was good so far. The food was not value for money. We ordered two burgers, the bun was so crispy that it completely crumbled and the fries were soft. When the service staff asked whether it tasted good, we gave honest feedback. The answer was "mh ok"... What a shame

We had free choice of seating on a Friday lunchtime and chose a spot in the sun on the terrace. Our waitress was super friendly, lovely and helpful (photo taken by us 🤗) Homemade lemonade tastes super refreshing and good. Then came the side salad with fresh bread; tasted really delicious. But the best were our 3 main courses: Oriental bowl, BBQ ribs and matjes hausfrauenart. The portions were very generous, lovingly prepared and it tasted incredibly good. The prices were more than fair. The entire ambience by the water made the visit unforgettable. If we are in Markkleeberg again, we will definitely come by.

Restaurant rating: A real insider tip! The staff were incredibly personable and attentive, which made our evening particularly enjoyable. Restaurant terrace has a beautiful view of the seaport. The dishes we chose were delicious and tasty. Staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Unfortunately you can't give more than 5 stars. But these are fully deserved. The service was really super friendly and very good. At the end of my tour of Germany with my son we stumbled across the Cossis. After a day at the lake, we ended the day with a delicious meal. The view over the water, with the boats... priceless. It was relatively quiet during the day and so the service was on point. The food was tasty, but not outstanding. For 3 dishes including 3 homemade lemonades and a tip we came to a total of €70. We would come back. 😉

A dream location. Mainly serves burgers and bowls. Food was prepared quickly and tasted ok. Rather tighter seating options. I would come back for a quick lunch, but I wouldn't, for example, celebrate a family birthday there.

A perfect restaurant right on the water with a wonderful terrace. Unfortunately there are only artificial flowers in the dining room, dirty everywhere... as far as the eye can see - so the desire to eat is gone.... In the beams above and on the windows there are cobwebs everywhere... on the counter where the bread basket is, there are a thousand crumbs even in corners where you know that's not from today... Our table right behind the door that leads to the terrace was an old garbage bucket in plain sight! Why ? This location? Window frames badly dirty and cobwebs. Not just the glass dirty but really the entire frame. Table was also slightly dirty and not wiped well. Music way too loud. Booming from the left corner. An employee constantly complained to a man behind the counter that she wanted to eat her sandwiches during her breaks... and then did so in plain sight. The poor thing (there is probably no kitchen for staff or space?) - she had to eat her sandwich too late while standing. The food came quickly and was good too. The young girl serving her was nice but her fingernails (the paint was completely chipped off) but she was very inexperienced... when ordering a cappuccino was forgotten and the dog bowl was also ordered! There were only three people on a Sunday where there was nothing going on (one table on the terrace and two tables inside)... The brownie was very dry but good. Cappuccino delicious. The ice cream with hot raspberries consisted of raspberries and strawberries: you can't go wrong. Water was brought with lots of ice even though it wasn't warm yesterday! Child couldn't drink water like that. And the Königsbergers were very salty (sauce) but otherwise ok. Wouldn't come back - because of the lack of cleanliness and incompetent staff. /plus point: but there was a lot of staff on site for Sunday two men four women….. would rather try out the other alternatives there.

Man sitzt wunderschön, aber das Essen ist mittelmäßig und teuer. Ich hatte eine Bowl mit zerkochten Reis, einer großen Ladung Erdnüsse und Zwiebeln und drei Gurkenscheibchen.

Einfach spitzen Küche ... Alle bestellten Essen waren richtig lecker und geschmacklich gut abgestimmt und ausgewogen. Preis-Leistung vollkommen in Ordnung und bei der Aussicht unbezahlbar.
