Thüringer Bratwurst in Markkleeberg

An upscale ambiance with delicious food and prompt service justifies the prices on both the food and drink menu. Definitely worth a visit.

First off, the food tastes good, but it's nothing special. Just typical fast food. But what has disappointed me several times now is the small portion size. Compared to the price, or even to other places, it's outrageously small. Anyway, I mentioned it and asked for an extra portion for an additional charge. €3.50 for extra pasta. Wow. You can see from the portion without meat how ridiculously small the pasta is, even with the extra portion. Seriously?! €9.50 for a few noodles with vegetables, and that's even after paying extra. Never again! That was my last attempt to get a decent meal here. Bottom line: absolutely not recommended.

After our evening visit to Cossis on October 4, 2025, I'd like to say that despite the weather not being so nice, the four of us and a small dog had a great spot by the window with a beautiful view of Lake Cospuden and the harbor. The burgers with fries and the ribs were really delicious, and the portions were generous. My jalapeno burger was really spicy, and since I like spicy food, it was just right. And the sodas were also delicious. The service was very nice and friendly. We didn't have to wait long either! We'll definitely go back... 5 stars
