Super lecker, sehr zu empfehlen!!!!

Essen Klasse, Service Klasse, Ambiente Klasse. Auf jeden Fall wieder ein Besuch wert... macht weiter so....

Es war lecker, die Bedienung war freundlich, Portion ok. 1,50€ für einen "Räuberteller" wir lassen das mal im Raum stehen.. Ansonsten ein tolles Ambiente wer es rustikal mag ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben.

Urige Gaststätte, sehenswert. Es war mal besser. Man riecht ständig altes Frittiröl Inzwischen nicht mehr mein Lokal.

Wir waren zu zweit in Omas Kartoffelhaus. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Zu zweit haben wir 50€ für je ein Gericht +Getränk bezahlt. Das isst schon etwas hoch, dafür waren die Gerichte sehr üppig, was es wieder etwas relativiert. Wir würden wieder hier essen gehen.

Spontan eingekehrt, weil wir nach dem Schwimmbad- Besuch mächtig Hunger bekommen haben. Schönes, uriges Ambiente, sehr nettes Personal, Service war schnell zur Stelle und das Essen war richtig lecker!

Mir wurde dieses Lokal empfohlen und dann hab ich mir gedacht, warum denn nicht mal ausprobieren... und was soll ich sagen... Von außen eher gediegen unauffällig. Das Schild vom Gasthaus sehr edel Oldscool gehalten. Ja und wenn man dann Eintritt ist man geflasht. Sowas von urig gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Service ist sehr herzlich und auch für einen Spaß zu haben. Die Karte hat sehr viele bekannte Gerichte aus der guten alten Zeit... Was soll ich sagen... Die Küche ist der Hammer. Hier bekommt man noch ein Schnitzel, was sich Schnitzel nennen darf und kein paniertes Pergamentpapier. Auch die Bratkartoffeln auf dem Teller sind wie bei Oma. Also mir hat es rundum super geschmeckt und ich komme ganz sicher wieder.

Rustikale, niedliche Kneipe mit leckerem Essen.....wir hatten spontan einen Tisch bestellt und haben es definitiv nicht bereut!!!

Reichlich und gutes Essen auf dem Teller, für Vegetarier findet sich ebenfalls etwas. Netter Service. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Wir sind zum Samstagabend ohne Reservierung einfach rein gestolpert und hatten Glück, trotz vollem Haus haben wir noch 2 freie Plätze bekommen....Reservierung daher empfehlenswert. Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, toller Service und leckeres Essen aus einer sehr umfangreichen Karte.....wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Omas Kartoffelhaus ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Alles sieht aus wie früher – liebevoll auf alt gemacht mit vielen kleinen Details. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, fast wie bei der eigenen Oma. Das Essen passt perfekt dazu: frisch und richtig lecker – genau das, worauf man Lust hat. Auch die Leute dort sind total herzlich und freundlich. Ich komme gern wieder – genau so muss das sein.

Frisches selbstgemachtes Essen, urige Atmosphäre. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wir hatten ein Schnitzelgericht und Buttermilchgetzen. Beides auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Wir haben im Vorfeld im Kartoffelhaus Marienberg reserviert. Hier mit der Angabe den Geburtstag unserer 87 jährigen Mutter mit einem Abendessen zu verbringen. Wir waren 8 Personen. Ernüchterung machte sich breit, als schon am Eingangsbereich für eine ältere Dame mit Rollator der Zugang nur mit Hilfe möglich war. Die Stufen sind für einen Menschen mit Einschränkung eine echte Herausforderung. Noch mehr überrascht waren wir dann im Gastraum, als uns die Kellnerin auf die 2. Etage verwies. Diese ist nur über eine Holztreppe erreichbar. Hier hörte der Spaß leider auf, den das war ganz und gar nicht möglich mit einer älteren Frau mit Rollator. Ich fragte die Kellnerin was wir jetzt machen sollen, meine Mutter kommt definitiv nicht in die 2. Etage über diese Holztreppe. Die Antwort war, das können wir jetzt auch nicht ändern. Die freundliche Bitte an das Personal ob wir vielleicht den Tisch in der unteren Etage mit den dort sitzenden Gästen vielleicht tauschen könnten, wurde abgelehnt. Meine Frage ob ich diese Gäste fragen kann wurde dahingehend beantwortet, wenn Sie wollen. Ich habe den Gästen unsere Situation kurz erklärt und man war sofort bereit die reservierten Tische zu tauschen. Zum Glück waren nur die Getränke mitzunehmen. Ich hätte hier einen viel besseren Service erwartet und auch einen Hinweis das diese Gaststätte keinen behinderten gerechten Zugang hat. Die Toilette ist im übrigen auch in der 2. Etage. Wir fühlten uns wirklich wie in einem Alptraum. Wir kennen Gastronomen die hier sich anders agieren. Auch ein Hinweis auf der Internetseite ist nicht zu finden. Ich denke aber dieses Problem hatte diese Gaststätte nicht das erste Mal. Leider werden wir diese Gaststätte nicht mehr besuchen. Auch in solchen Situationen erwarte ich als Gast eine professionelle Unterstützung und nicht eine Antwort, das können wir jetzt auch nicht ändern. Sorry aber das geht nicht. Eine Nachfrage bei der telefonischen Reservierung hätte uns auch geholfen. Wir hoffen man setzt diese Kritik so um, dass andere Gäste in gleicher Situation besseren Service bekommen.

Schnitzel Athen unbedingt probieren

Ein wundervolles nostalgisches und urgemütliches Restaurant, genau wie ich es mag 😍. Der Service ist sehr gut, das Essen kam überraschend schnell und für 12 Leute zeitgleich! Die Portionen sind reichlich und besonders lecker, was alle meine 11 Gäste bestätigt haben. Besonders die Schnitzel in allen Variationen hatten es uns angetan, alle waren sehr zart und perfekt zubereitet. Jeder Teller war schön angerichtet und es tropfte einen schon der Zahn beim hinsehen. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😍

Tolles Local , Essen perfekt & sehr sehr lecker... wir kommen gerne wieder🎉 Einzige Anmerkung, wir haben mit Karte gezahlr und der Kellner fragte ob er Trinkgeld mit drauf machen soll. Wenn dann geben die Gäste von sich aus TG und nicht das der Kellner danach fragt ;-) ... wir hätten so oder so TG gegeben! Aber sonst war alles super & der Kellner auch echt nett 👍

Ein echt sehr schönes Ambiente ist das. Das Essen war auch sehe sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

This is my second time eating there. I think the food is first-class. It's very good value for money. The wait isn't long, and you're always greeted and treated very warmly. I also really like the rustic interior.

I haven't had such a delicious schnitzel in a long time, and the fried potatoes were also a dream. The portion was a decent size and definitely worth the price. The service was particularly friendly, and the ambiance was beautifully rustic and cozy.

We really enjoyed the meal. Both the Getzen and the casserole tasted great. Personally, I rarely find myself not needing salt or pepper to season. Children get something to do with a children's menu to color and crayons - a simple but great idea. Furnishings: Vintage - cozy. Staff direct and friendly. Questions will be gladly answered. I can recommend the restaurant with regard to the points mentioned. When it comes to the prices that restaurants in this region set for food, opinions differ.

Quaint ambiance spread over two floors. Local dishes and many schnitzel variations are served. The service was friendly and attentive. The only dessert is ice cream. Not cheap, but delicious.

On the way home from our short vacation in the Ore Mountains, we made a quick detour to the beautiful old town of Marienberg. Before continuing our journey, we fortified ourselves at "Omas Kartoffelhaus." They have a huge selection of schnitzel variations and many other dishes. We would have loved to try almost everything 😃 We had a schnitzel with garlic sauce and one with chili cheese. Both were delicious, and the potato wedges were super crispy. The restaurant is very quaint and invites you to sit for a while. The service was pleasant and friendly.

There were four of us, two adults and two children having lunch. I found it to be very nice and comfortably furnished both inside and out. The service came quickly, was very nice and friendly. The food was very tasty, especially the typical Erzgebirge buttermilk getzen. Everything was priced right and was reasonable. There were children's magazines and very nice coloring books to keep them busy, great.

You have to look for the entrance to an inconspicuous house. When you enter, you will be surprised by a lovingly compiled collection of items from the GDR and pre-GDR times. We were led to the upper floor by a cheerful employee, which is also worth seeing. Then you shouldn't expect award-winning cuisine, but extremely tasty dishes that will really make you think of grandma. We had a potato soup, a potato casserole with salmon and a potato wreath with mushrooms and turkey strips (a kind of fried potato mash with the ingredients on top). Everything was extremely tasty and so plentiful that we were able to take some home with us. Together with 2 light beers (0.4l) we paid 48.50 and it was worth every euro.

Ok, super warm and it doesn't get any cooler. 😅 The food is super tasty and gigantic. The chef only has to practice measuring the Gorgonzola a bit. But all other dishes really good. And the ambience is very charming and decorated with a lot of love.
