Saloon zum Grizzly in Marienberg

We called on Saturday afternoon and were able to secure a table for the evening. Very friendly service and a rustic atmosphere among locals. As a Thuringian, I had to listen to the dialect of the people sitting around me. We took advantage of the seasonal asparagus menu and ordered schnitzel and tongue with asparagus and potatoes. Everything was well-rounded and delicious, with first-class craftsmanship and flavor! Already full, we tried the buttermilk stew, a house and regional specialty. 10/10 We'd love to come back and highly recommend stopping here sometime.

We were invited to a 70th birthday party 🎂. The table was beautifully decorated, and the ambiance and service were all excellent and courteous. We would happily eat there again or host a celebration there again. Highly recommended.

We were extremely disappointed. The food was beautifully presented, but the seasoned meat was sour and the steak was completely dry. My wife's schnitzel was fried to death. What I found very strange was that the chef's clothes were indistinguishable from those of a cyclist. I thought you were supposed to wear sanitary clothes, not sweatpants. Unfortunately, we weren't able to address the issue, as cashing out at 8 p.m. was more important. We used to enjoy the Huthaus, but unfortunately, we won't be coming back for this service.
