The saloon is sooooo beautiful. It's a shame it's not always open. At least one or two days a week with a limited menu, or just for drinks and socializing, would be great. We've stayed at the holiday village many times. The owners are so nice and do so much for you at a very fair price. You can't get something for free, after all. It's a shame things are so difficult for the industry right now (COVID, everything's getting more expensive, etc.).

It's only open for the guests who are staying in the nearby pension, shame. Otherwise it looks nice and the llamas are super cool obviously.

We called on Saturday afternoon and were able to secure a table for the evening. Very friendly service and a rustic atmosphere among locals. As a Thuringian, I had to listen to the dialect of the people sitting around me. We took advantage of the seasonal asparagus menu and ordered schnitzel and tongue with asparagus and potatoes. Everything was well-rounded and delicious, with first-class craftsmanship and flavor! Already full, we tried the buttermilk stew, a house and regional specialty. 10/10 We'd love to come back and highly recommend stopping here sometime.
