Gerne immer wieder mal zum Mittagessen eingekehrt. Essen lecker,Bedienung 1a,nett und freundlich. Preise sind korrekt. Schöne Terasse und innen sehr urigen Ambiente.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, die uns trotz des wechselhaften Wetters spontan ermöglicht haben, draußen zu sitzen. Das Essen war super lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier einfach. Dieses Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung wert! 🙂

Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Schade war nur, dass das Kinderschnitzel ein Fertig-Schnitzel war und nicht, wie bei den normalen Portionen ein selbstgemachtes. Das verstehe ich nicht. Ansonsten war alles top.

Wir haben gestern hier spontan Pause gemacht und was gegessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Ambiente ist schön gemacht. Leider hatte unsere Kellnerin gestern wohl nicht ihren besten Tag, sie machte bereits Mittags einen genervten und gestressten Eindruck.

Wir waren gestern Abend mit 4 Erwachsenen essen und hatten dazu einen Tisch in der Eckersdorfer Stube reserviert. Das Ambiente ist urig, die Speisekarte umfangreich mit vegetarischen Alternativen und das Personal sehr freundlich. Das Essen kam fuer den ganzen Tisch zur gleichen Zeit und alle haben die Qualitaet und Zubereitung der Speisen gelobt. Herzlichen Dank fuer den schoenen Abend.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Vorspeise und mit dem Hauptgericht am Abend. Personal sehr freundlich obwohl die Rollmopsschänke sehr gut besucht war.

Wir waren spontan im Februar unter der Woche zur Mittagszeit da und wurden super herzlich in Empfang genommen. Es war sehr gut besucht und trotzdem wurden wir schnell bedient. Essen war für Groß und Klein geeignet und auch für mich als Vegetarier gabe es genügend Auswahl. Alles war frisch und preislich völlig in Ordnung. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein absoluter nicht mehr so geheimer Geheimtipp. Schänke stammt aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Reservierung macht Sinn, jedoch auch so findet das superfreundliche Personal eine Lösung.

Tolles uriges gemütliches Ambiente. Eine Gaststätte mit Geschichte. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Für jeden was dabei. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. War der erste Mal und nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Einfach urig gemütlich wir hatten eine schöne Mittagszeit das Essen frisch zubereitet. Das Personal war zuvorkommend war sehr aufmerksam. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Food was okay. The ambiance, well, they could definitely take a closer look at a few details. It's obviously very popular, otherwise they couldn't afford those drink prices. People seem to hand out lots of stars too easily. They have to be earned.

We ate at the Rollmopsschänke for the first time on Sunday. My wife and I are in complete agreement: the food was delicious, the atmosphere very pleasant, and the service absolutely friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

We were incredibly lucky and got the last two seats... We received a super friendly welcome at lunchtime and made the perfect culinary choice with our braised beef cheeks and kohlrabi schnitzel. We'll definitely be back!!!! 👍🏻😉

A good, traditional lunch at reasonable prices, friendly service. The story behind the division of the restaurant with the small window is also interesting. We were a party of four and ate here on a Wednesday.

A fantastic little place with a super cozy atmosphere! The food is good, home-style cooking, lovingly presented and absolutely delicious. They even had a children's section with coloring pages and puzzles. The prices are more than reasonable. We'll definitely be back! ❤️

A very, very good German restaurant with a rich history. We spontaneously got a lunch for two; you should make a reservation on Sundays. We had two soups, two main courses, and two large beers for €65. Good value for money.

We spontaneously got a table for 6 at lunchtime after being turned away at several restaurants. A fantastic selection of food, including vegetarian options! It was super quick, good prices, and absolutely delicious! Highly recommended :)

A small, beautifully decorated restaurant in an old half-timbered house with a small beer garden under a shady linden tree. The homely food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. There's also a large parking lot right next door. We felt at home.

If you want to eat the best rollmöpse, you've come to the right place. The rollmöps and the matjes on bread were sensationally tasty and served in a very visually appealing way. Comfortably furnished and friendly service rounded it off. A small criticism is nevertheless meant kindly, the dish with the poached eggs was unfortunately swimming in the vinegar broth of the eggs and therefore the spinach and potatoes tasted a bit sour. Maybe you can avoid this in the future by draining it or rinsing it with clean water. We definitely recommend the restaurant.

I have rarely eaten so well and felt so well looked after! If it were possible, I would give even more stars. The ambience is fantastic, the service is first class, and the staff is extremely friendly. There is also an incredibly varied and creative menu - every dish is a delight! Another plus: free parking spaces directly in front of the house. Absolutely recommended!

Were here for the first time, we really liked it, the food and service were good. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos of the food

You have to be honest and the stars say it all. But a worse rating would perhaps be less appealing. And that would give you a quicker chance of getting space. But seriously now. The service and the food were great. We also managed to get the last table quite spontaneously. You feel comfortable here.

The staff was very friendly, the atmosphere is rural, rustic. I liked that. Blue carp fillet wasn't quite successful in terms of the vinegar note, but there wasn't a bone in it. The iced coffee afterwards is clearly unsatisfactory. Coffee was thin, there were real lumps of water ice in the vanilla ice cream and the icing on the cake was the cheapest spray cream from a bottle.

Went to the Rollmopsschänke for the first time since the fall of the Berlin Wall and were very positively surprised. The service, in our case a young waitress, was very pleasant. We all had something different for dinner and were very happy with our selection. The portions were plentiful and nicely prepared. We will definitely come back to try more dishes. We were 3 people We were warmly welcomed and I personally found the family atmosphere ideal Furthermore, we didn't have to wait long for drinks or food. The portions were large, but the price was definitely small. Conclusion: If you are driving through Freital or staying overnight... Die Rollmopsschänke should definitely be on your plan. We look forward to your next visit, Kudos to the kitchen staff.

Top home cooking, nice service, always worth a visit

We have been to the Rollmopsschänke many times and have never been disappointed (unlike other restaurants that have gotten worse in recent years). The atmosphere is rustic, cozy and simply inviting. The service is super nice and the food is delicious. Home cooking, the way I want it. Everything is just right here at a fair price!

We were able to order a table for 6 people at short notice by phone shortly before 7 p.m. Despite the restaurant being full, we received the delicious food quickly. We had spaghetti with vegetables, steak au four, smoked cheese with potato pancakes and salmon with potato pancakes. Everything tasted very good. The decor is very comfortable and the service was very friendly and attentive. We would be happy to come back when we are in Freital.

Can highly recommend this location although the price increases in the last Time significantly above the average of comparable companies localities were located. The house was my second when I was young Home and has retained its charm over almost 50 preserved for years.

Restaurant with very good food and very good service. Unfortunately, there is smoking, which could be prevented by the house rules and at least should be during the meal.

We were there spontaneously today at 5:30 p.m. Reservation made 1 hour in advance and everything went smoothly. The food was delicious as always and the butter cake was first class... or second best... My ice cream 🍨 had some on it too 😉. The menu tempts with many dishes from home-style cuisine. If you want to eat the finest Rollmops, you've come to the right place! We also ate matjes with fried potatoes and kohlrabi schnitzel with herb quark - everything tasted fantastic, including the fresh, colorful and crunchy side salad. Everything was beautifully presented! Fast, attentive and friendly service is another plus point. And the parking space right in front of the door was also important to us. Only long-haired people have to be careful, because the distance between the head and the height of the ceiling in the restaurant may be tight.

The terrace faces the street. Nevertheless, you sit comfortably. Ordering food and drinks went quickly. The homemade lemonade is recommended. Food was delicious and requests were catered for. Of course you can recommend the restaurant.

Even though it's right around the corner, it's been a long time since we've been there. Ok... the furnishings are a bit older (hence 1 star minus) but still comfortable... Food is the best German home cooking. Plenty of portions, very tasty... honestly, you can't complain. Oh, the children's meals are absolutely fine and not just from the deep fryer. Service super friendly and very attentive. Small special requests were fulfilled... they were obviously professionals. If you're looking for chic and gourmet food, you've come to the wrong place... but if you're looking for very good food at reasonable prices in nice surroundings, this is the right place... We'll be coming here more often now!
