We went to eat at the Palmengarten as a group on Monday. The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are also good, and the food is good. What's a shame is that there were no senior citizen portions for our elderly guests, but only small-meal portions, like pasta with tomato sauce and nuggets – which is more for kids :). So, people end up ordering regular portions, and in the worst case, food ends up being thrown away.

Disrespectful, a larger group of tourists refused to use the toilets, saying that people like you are not allowed to use them (people with a migration background).

We were there for Wine & Paint. Great ambience with a great view over Augustusplatz. It was very nice with a DJ and great live music. The drink prices are okay, the people are in a good mood.

Ordered fries with chicken schnitzel. The size of the portion is a disgrace for €8.50. Especially since you also have to pay extra for the ketchup. The fries weren't tasty, they had apparently been on display for a long time. The chicken schnitzel was good. My daughter had pasta with bolognese sauce. These tasted okay and the portion size was also okay. The service was friendly.

The kimchi jjigae had spoiled pork. The taste was terribly off. And I've been feeling very sick ever since. 12 hours of nausea and it still hasn't gone away, so bad that I can't even sleep. Plus, I specifically asked for more meat instead of tofu. But even though there was no tofu, there was very little meat. I wouldn't have been able to eat it anyway because it tasted awful, but it still wasn't right.

The store couldn't even begin to be found at the location listed as open. On the website it says the store is now in the shopping center opposite, but there's nothing there - just a construction site - which suggests that it might be there at some point!

Toilets with this number of square meters/space are required by law. The women's toilet was dirty, no staff present. Paper missing, floor covered in urine. Just as disgusting as the dirty seat cushions in the restaurant. There are only stars for the good coffee from a very sluggish machine. Department stores and restaurants of this type are doomed. One bankruptcy follows another. Customer and market orientation has hardly been taken into account by all investors in recent years. We are service quality trainers and journalists for gastronomy and always evaluate objectively and fairly.

Long waiting time. Food doesn't taste good. Mold on toilet. Please do not order a salad with duck🥲

We were allowed to be guests at Restaurant Michaelis on November 9th, 2024 and January 13th, 2025. The restaurant, which is part of the hotel of the same name, welcomes its guests in a stylishly designed guest room. The clever arrangement of the tables allows for pleasant conversations without feeling disturbed by other guests. We received a very warm welcome on both visits. We would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service - always professional, extremely friendly and with a pleasant touch of humor. The food also completely convinced us. There is a lot on offer here when it comes to value for money. The portions are generous and it is easy to adjust the number of courses. The food tastes excellent and always offers pleasant surprises. Here, traditional local cuisine is creatively combined with modern influences. Highly recommended! We visited the restaurant on the recommendation of friends! When we entered the restaurant, the owner of the house was very nice to us right from the start! Friendly, humorous and, most importantly, he knows his stuff! The food is a culinary delight.For a Burner garden restaurant!The ambience is very nice!The outdoor seating area, if the weather cooperates again, will definitely be visited by us!Wonderful!What we really like is that there is an extra room for watching football etc., a dream for every football fan.We absolutely recommend the restaurant and say thank you for the always very pleasant hospitality!
