On April 28th At 1:20 p.m. I wanted to get 2 pieces of pizza for 6.50 to take away. I paid this amount in cash, but I gave 50 cents in the form of 2 and 5 cent coins, which is legal tender. I was refused acceptance of such a payment. The man behind the cash register then said: “This is not a kindergarten”, no apology. I will not come back because you are not satisfied with legal, normal money from a “kindergartener” (I am an adult, by the way). And in the future, I advise you to put up a sign informing about this “rule” if you even have one. ;)

We were in Leipzig for a weekend with the family. Even though we spontaneously stopped by with 7 people, we got a place straight away. We all enjoyed both the pasta and the pizza. The service was friendly and quick (we were even given a high chair without asking). Paying by card wasn't a problem either. We'll definitely come back on our next vacation!

I don't recommend this place, the prices are very high, the service is rude, there is no option to pay by card. I have attached the MENU of this place to the review so that everyone can use their own discretion to judge whether it is worth going there. Pushing customers back and forth from one table to another was very rude, after that situation we didn't want to eat anymore - congratulations on the idea, I won't be going there again.

A mini piece of pizza for 3.50 euros, well good. But the pizza was cold and only had a small piece of salami on it. Never again

We had dinner there yesterday. The ambience was completely fine – especially for this location. It was pleasantly warm, spacious and cozy. The service was initially good: the order was taken quickly, the food came quickly and special requests were taken into account. Unfortunately we didn't like the food at all. It didn't look bad on the outside. The arrabiata was neither spicy nor particularly flavorful. The price of the pasta was okay, but we didn't finish it. The pizza was also disappointing. When we honestly answered that the food was just “okay” when we asked, the waiter mocked us in front of his colleague - an absolute no-go.

So if you want some decent food, don't go there. I had a lasagne that was just a mess made from what felt like a pack of cheese. It was just bursting with fat. Really disgusting. Service was ok, he tried hard and it was also relatively clean.

We were there last Saturday (9/14/24) and bought 2 pieces of pizza and drinks. There was little going on in the store itself. There was only one table occupied in the back area. We then wanted to sit down at the farthest table and eat the food we had bought there. However, the employee denied us this in a very unfriendly and arrogant manner. Reference was made to a measly self-written sign that stood behind some other objects. He also didn't want to redeem the voucher that you get for using the toilet at the train station, even though the shop is explicitly listed. The arrogant manner and the mere shrugging of the shoulders when asked why the voucher should not be valid here did the rest. In terms of taste, the flatbread wasn't exactly amazing, so next time you can easily avoid eating there. Ciao Ciao

Today I was a guest at Ciao Bella with my mother. She ordered a prosciutto e funghi pizza and I ordered Penne all Arabiata, which was advertised as vegan. The dishes came quickly. Unfortunately, the penne was "decorated" with parmesan, which isn't even vegetarian. After complaining, the waitress asked if he should just put it down. I made it clear to him that I didn't approve of that and asked him to remake the penne for me. Unfortunately that didn't happen and he served me the same plate despite my request, which was clearly visible from the leftover Parmesan. I left a large area of ​​visibly affected pasta lying around and ate the rest. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce was neither spicy nor particularly good. The pizza wasn't particularly tasty either. So some things went back. In addition, we were given a napkin and a fork and spoon twice for pizza and penne. When he was asked whether it was tasty, he replied in surprise. All in all, I can't recommend customers with allergies to visit this Ciao Bella, as they probably don't stick to what is advertised on the menu.
