I last ate at Leos a few years ago and was disappointed when I went back yesterday.
About the food: My girlfriend and I each had bruschetta as a starter. I asked for the Parmesan cheese to be omitted, but it was not included.
It was definitely missing garlic (the very essence of bruschetta) and the bread was terrible! (Very hard, seemed old.)
For our main course, we each had schnitzel. The croquettes were almost cold, and the fries tasted of nothing. The only thing edible was the schnitzel.
About the service: In almost 1.5 hours, we were asked for drinks at the beginning, but then not again. Not whether everything was OK, nothing.
Two older ladies were sitting at the next table, and they were immediately addressed informally. That's not okay, it's not polite.
It's a shame that the food and service have deteriorated so much. We won't be coming back. There are other restaurants in Leipzig that are far better.
I can only recommend the restaurant. The food was super tasty. I had the bacon schnitzel and my wife had the mushroom schnitzel. The wait for the food was very pleasant maybe 10 to 15 minutes. Parking spaces are available on site. You can eat inside and outside. We will definitely eat there again.
We went to Emil and Moritz for breakfast and dinner
We were super happy with everything, only the waiter at breakfast needs some training.
Otherwise, big plus from us. We'd love to come back
Cashiers, rip-offs, absolutely inappropriate in the gastronomic culture of Leipzig... the one star is necessary so that a warning about this lousy offer goes into the WWWELT.
Bedste sted i Leipzig. Altid super god kvalitet, venlig atmosfære. Perfekt beliggenhed bag ved Skt. Thomas Kirke. Hver gang jeg kommer til Leipzig besøger jeg dem.
