The food is of the usual North Sea quality.

I occasionally get a fish sandwich there. The sellers are all very friendly. I really enjoy the fish.

I like the seafood here, fresh and reasonably priced. The wraps are also good. Watch out for he edible sauce containers!

I've always been very satisfied with Nordsee and shopped there often. But today, at the branch near the train station, I had a very bad experience: An employee (short black hair, sturdy build, glasses) was extremely rude, insolent, and spoke in a loud, disrespectful tone. Very disappointing—this shouldn't happen in customer service.

A solid Nordsee restaurant near Leipzig Central Station. Fast, good food. Especially worthwhile with the coupons available via the app.

It might be okay during the day, but it's not recommended after work, around 8:30 p.m.! We ordered via the Togoodtogo app and picked up at 8:20 p.m. The employees seemed annoyed by or because of the app. The quality of the food was very poor – the fish sandwich was hard and the salad was gray – the tuna sandwich was flat and didn't contain any tuna or anything similar. The nuggets were fried several times and therefore inedible! Not recommended at this time of day.

Beware of the saleswoman (around 50+ years old) with short black hair and glasses!!! Bullies teenagers who politely want to order something, and she ignores or complains about everything. Not recommended, better look for other shops.

The salmon was really delicious and super fresh. I rarely go to Nordsee, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Delicious food, fish sandwiches, and mixed drinks were top-notch. I thought 70 cents for a sachet of mayo upon request was overpriced, even without a warning – so I didn't bother. The older saleswoman was unfortunately a bit unfriendly.

Unfortunately, I have to give it one star. Had I been there, I would have sent the entire meal back! The "fries" from the fish & chips box were old and cardboard-like. The fish was so dark and oily, it looked like it had been fried twice! That was a box for the organic waste bin! It wasn't edible! The fish baguettes are misleading, as they come in a Kaiser roll! The salads were completely missing, as were 6 out of 10 sauces. It was beyond disappointing and embarrassing for a company to give customers such a meal! We will definitely never order from the Nordsee in Leipzig Central Station again.

It's remarkable how capable the human psyche is of repressing negative experiences, given enough time. So, with a certain naive hope, or perhaps a tragicomic form of collective fast-food amnesia, I found myself once again in a branch of the "Nordsee" chain. The trigger for my purchase decision was a Bismarck roll priced at €4.99. A price that already carries with it a certain expectation. Particularly in terms of quality, freshness, and at least the appearance of care in its preparation. What I received, however, was a roll arranged with such striking lack of love that it's difficult to find adequate words for it. It was the bare minimum, as if it were the result of a business calculation that had completely eliminated the human element. Any random food truck somewhere in the middle of nowhere would serve me a better fish sandwich, and with genuine dedication, not resigned duty. But the culinary tragedy was only one side of this socio-gastronomic experience. The other was revealed in the behavior of the other customers and the resulting overwhelmed employees. It seemed to me like a live performance of social dysfunction. People who apparently neither know what they want nor have the ability to familiarize themselves with a manageable menu within two minutes slowed down the entire operation in a grotesque manner. Questions about the weight of potatoes in side dishes or hours of deliberation over the choice of sauce may have their place in private, but in a gastronomic context with a queue, they mutate into a test of patience. I feel genuine pity for the employees who, with stoic courage, tried to cope with this cacophony of indecision, overinformation, and latent self-absorption. In a world where being prepared and considerate of others has apparently gone completely out of fashion, this is no easy task. In conclusion: I now need a period of inner reflection to process this experience. And I implore you: When you get in line, please know in advance what you want. And stop looking at me as if you could guess how many calories the tartar sauce has from my expression.

I'm totally disappointed. I ordered a box of shrimp and got potatoes instead. It wasn't a big deal, but when I noticed it and spoke to the lady, they said it was my problem because I ordered potatoes. Well, in a way, tough luck! I'm never buying anything from them again!!!!!

I used a coupon to get the shrimp and potato box at Nordsee at Leipzig Central Station for €6.99 – based on the picture and description, I expected a balanced portion. Unfortunately, I only got 5 (!) shrimp, the rest was completely "stuffed" with potatoes. Even more disappointing was the service: The employee (short black hair, glasses) was extremely unfriendly and rude – no assistance or explanation, just rude reactions. In my opinion, that's absolutely no way to treat customers. This was definitely my last visit – value for money isn't right here, and customer service seems to be a foreign concept.

I chose the fish. When I was offered the sauces, I saw a fly in the sauce. I pointed it out to the staff. The fly was removed from the sauce, but the sauce remained. I was hungry and thought, "I'll just have plain fish." When I tried the fish, I had to return it because it was simply awful. Of course, I was offered an alternative... Nevertheless, I absolutely cannot recommend this North Sea restaurant to anyone!

The food is incredibly delicious. It tastes fantastic; fried fish baguettes are my favorite. My only problem is the very high prices for relatively small amounts of food.

Hello, despite the few guests, the staff were overwhelmed and irritated by a self-inflicted problem and very unfriendly. It's a shame, we actually always like to eat fish there.

I was eating there on March 14th, 2025 at around 7 p.m. and we showed a woman the cupong from the app and when I wanted to pick up the food, it turned out that she swapped the cupongs and gave me a completely different food. It's actually not that bad, it can happen to anyone, but she didn't apologize and didn't offer to redo it and found excuses like that it was just a few cupons and that she just swapped it. Oh well, in the end I got fish and chips even though I wanted shrimp.

Got very bad. Bought 2 fish sandwiches today. These were in a miserable condition. We only saw it at home. The rolls must have been baked several times and the fish wasn't freshly prepared either. All in all, a high price for poor quality.

The salmon and herring sandwiches tasted really odd. Too salty and no other taste. Do not recommend at all.

The food at Nordsee is delicious as always, but this time the service was unfortunately disappointing - the employee was unfriendly and not very patient. A lady at the counter who took our order was very rude and showed no patience towards us. She even rolled her eyes at us in annoyance.

I ordered Salomon, Kohl, Mushrooms. It was delicious. I recommend this.

Went to the restaurant today around 6:00 p.m. After waiting for almost 10 minutes and everything was extremely slow, we were suddenly informed that the kitchen would be closed today from 5 p.m. and a sign was simply placed on the counter. Apparently only two employees there, although we counted at least four...

Si bien aprecié que había una oportunidad de sentarse y comer mi comida con cierta comodidad, no me impresionó la relación calidad-precio de mi comida. Elegí un menú Backfish (que incluía patatas fritas y una bebida). No me di cuenta de que Backfish era parecido a un dedo de pez. Mis papas estaban secas y frías han estado en un baño María que no estaba lo suficientemente caliente y durante demasiado tiempo.

Dem Personal in der Bedienung am Tresen entging jegliche Freundlichkeit und Professionalität. Quereinsteiger sind dafür einfach nicht geeignet. Wir haben Hochsommer: dies war sowohl an den Scheisshausfliegen auf der Auslage (eine bekamen wir sogar eingepackt) als auch den nicht gekühlten Speisen zu erkennen. Die Matjesfilets und Dippsauce hatten Umgebungstemperatur!! Das Beste: wir haben alles ohne Lebensmittel-Vergiftung überstanden!

I just wanted to let it go that there was something wrong with the shrimp (prawn box) and/or the tartar sauce. This was the second time that I didn't feel well after eating and ended up sitting at home with a stomach ache. Once it's okay that it just wasn't a good day for me, but twice now I find it quite strange. Just wanted to ask if anyone feels the same way in this restaurant? This hasn't happened to me at other locations like Dessau, Hamburg or Berlin and I always order the same thing.

The staff is unfriendly and doesn't really listen. They gave me a potato box instead of a shrimp/potato box

The staff isn't that nice, they do everything too quickly and don't listen carefully. They closed my box somehow, all the sauce leaked out and they only gave me 1 cloth but the shrimps taste very good

Considering it's quite expensive, it would be nice if they would at least pack my entire order.

Contrary to the other reviews here, I have to say that the girls behind the counter do their job decently. I was there for the European Football Championship and they always made a great effort to communicate. There are definitely a few crumbs on the table, but you have to wipe the tables every 10 minutes, and sometimes you don't have enough time for that with the entire Lieferando order. You can clearly see that there is a lot to do.

Sticky fries, a plaice fillet with a bad aftertaste. To break the habit. At least the cola worked.

The middle-aged woman with glasses (slightly smaller) is absolutely unfriendly. My girlfriend and I were at Nordsee today and wanted to get fish & chips and a shrimp and potato box. When I asked if I could put the potato wedges in the fish & chips box and the fries in the shrimp and potato box, she reacted unfriendly and treated me in a derogatory way. When I asked why that wasn't possible, she refused to continue serving me and only pointed out that it was supposedly the rule. However, this was never a problem in other North Sea branches. Furthermore, no attempt was made to find a solution. She should try not to let her bad mood out on the customers. The younger employee, on the other hand, was very approachable and friendly.

To the owner: The middle-aged to older woman who was on duty around 6:45 p.m. on May 16th should urgently reconsider her attitude to work. Everything had already been tidied up & there was nothing left & was tidied up! (The store closes 1:15 hours later at 8 p.m.) I had to act (as a customer, mind you) so that an Alaska pollack fillet could be warmed up in the deep fryer within 10 minutes. Right from the start I was told what I wanted here, and two other customers left straight away when the saleswoman said there was nothing left here. Think about why sales may not have been as good at that time and whether it's a good thing if the entire staff actually refuses to work :) You also have friendly staff who work on solving problems, but that was a disaster

I bought a fried fish sandwich. The roll and the fish were completely dried out. The fish fillet was cut lengthwise and packaged so that it cannot be seen. Last time there was a whole one in there. The whole thing for an outrageous €4.79 That was my last visit to North Sea, that's extortion!!!

Today we had herring. Very fine and tender, nice fried potatoes and sauce. Staff very patient with older guests.

Old moldy tomatoes on the fish baguette (that's not kriebs but really mold if you look closely) belong in this North Sea branch just as much as unfriendly and incompetent employees who lack any tact when dealing with customers. The North Sea team should take the criticism to heart instead of constantly reporting it and not always just comment on the good reviews...that shows that criticism is not welcome here😉 Things definitely used to be better here, which can be clearly seen from the recession that has occurred here recently.

Unfriendly and annoyed staff. The food wasn't necessarily great either. I'm in the catering industry myself and I understand that you can get annoyed pretty quickly. But you shouldn't take this out on your guests, but still try to be friendly. Especially if you as a guest are friendly, you want to be served just as friendly.

Price + performance absolutely inadequate. Greasy fried fish, hard baked rolls. Tables unclean. Absolutely overpriced for such poor quality. Not recommendable! Staff not exactly motivated.

The food is classic North Sea, but always perfect for the 30 minutes you have when changing. The service is also always very nice. It's mostly empty, which means you can sit down and enjoy your fish and chips. It has now become an essential part of my long-distance travel. Only recommended

Leider wie alles sehr teuer geworden

Eigentlich ganz lecker,aber Preis-Leitung geht überhaupt nicht :( die Sitzmöglichkeiten waren dreckig

Nicht noch mal. Bedienung unfassbar langsam, alles passiert in Zeitlupe. Für den Kunden davor wurde über 5minuten gebraucht, obwohl dieser nicht viel bestellt hatte. 3 der 4 Damen standen gefühlt nur herum und hatten Langeweile oder keine Lust. Brötchen werden ohne Handschuhe einfach angefasst. Mussten so lange warten, dass wir uns unser Essen zum Mitnehmen nicht mehr haben Warmmachen lassen. Die Schlange war inzwischen auch schon sehr lang geworden.

Sehr unfreundliches Personal und das Essen ist oft Kalt und wenn man vor Ort was Essen möchte wird einen der Fisch aus der Auslage nicht warm gemacht. Das Personal ist sehr unhöflich und hat keine Lust auf Kundschaft der Service ist auch nicht besonders gut ebenso auch die Sauberkeit es stehen oft Benutze Teller noch auf dem Tisch und diese werden erst nach längerer Zeit entfernt und Tische werden kaum sauber gemacht. Hab es mehrfach getestet und muss sagen das es nicht zu empfehlen ist.

Am vergangenen Donnerstag besuchte ich Mittags das Restaurant. Ich bestellte Fisch, der mit Pilzen und Käse überbacken war. Dazu gab es Bratkartoffeln. 14,79 sind ein Wort, dafür, das alles in Selbstbedienung funktioniert. Die Bratkartoffeln waren in Ordnung. Der Fisch war kalt. Ich dachte erst, lediglich das mit Käse Überbackene sei kalt. Nein, der ganze Fisch war nicht durcherhitzt. Das geht überhaupt und gar nicht. Hier kehre ich bestimmt nicht wieder ein.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, Qualität des Essens ausgesprochen gut und angenehmes Ambiente.

Ganz typischer Nordseestore...alle freundlich...und mit App ist Nordsee per Gutscheine unschlagbar.

Service schlecht, da ein FREUND ständig in das bestell und Bezahlsystem einhacken, bezogen auf private Sachen mit Personal. Mehrfach verbaut ich mir dies, auch als ich schnellverkauf verließ. Einfach total Kundeninfreindlich. Sorry

Unsere Erfahrung mit Nordsee im Leipziger HBf ist sehr gut. Der Service ist nett, das Essen qualitativ hochwertig und schmeckt gut.

I like the Nordsee restaurants. When I was 18 I lived in Northern Germany and I'd take a bus to Busum and have Bismarck Herring on a bun for breakfast everyday. 40 years later I found myself having Bismarck Herring on a bun at Nordsee and the taste was the same. It all came back to me. I ate at Nordsee several times during my stay in Liepzig.

Bin ein großer Nordsee Fan- wurde hier allerdings nicht allzu glücklich. Personal nicht besonders nett und Leistung im Vergleich zu anderen Filialen minderwertig.

Das Essen bei dieser Nordsee-Filiale schmeckt den Erwartungen entsprechend. Der Service ist schnell und die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich freundlich. Lege hier gerne einen Zwischenstopp ein, wenn ich am Bahnhof umsteigen muss.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter freundlich und kompetent bei der Speisen empfehlung.

Ich hatte ein veganes Tuna-Fladenbrot und bin auf jeden Fall satt geworden. Das Brot war sehr lecker und ich war froh über die vegane Fischalternative. Allerdings hat der Thunfisch eher nach Ei und nur ab und zu sehr leicht nach Fisch geschmeckt. Generell war der Geschmack von allem nur sehr mild. Gestört hat mich auch, dass der Fisch nur so in Soße geschwommen ist. Wahrscheinlich um zu vertuschen, dass die Alternative noc nicht richtig gut schmeckt 🤷‍♀️ Servicepersonal war sehr gleichgültig und unmotiviert. Der Frau vor mir konnte nicht der Unterschied zwischen 2 Fischbrötchen erklärt werden und nach dem bezahlen kam auch kein Danke/Schönen Tag noch etc.

Für das Angebot zu wenig Platzkapazität.

Schöne Atmosphäre, lecker Essen

Ein Armutszeugnis für eine Filiale im Hauptbahnhof, das es um 17:45 Uhr nur noch Fischbrötchen zu bekommen sind. Die Menüs waren alle ausverkauft. Wir wollten dort gerne Abendbrot essen - aber leider ein Satz mit "x" = das war wohl Nix.

Komme immer in meiner Pause her, Restaurant ist immer sauber und Personal sehr freundlich und Kundenorientiert. Essen schmeckt immer frisch!

Wir wurden freundlich, aber auch unfreundlich bedient. Das Essen ließ zu wünschen übrig. Da habe ich in Berlin und Hannover schon wesentlich besser gegessen.

Zu teuer für eine fischsemmel mit nur fisch

Schade das man dort fast alles kalt essen muss da dieses personalbkeine zeit hat es richtig zu etwärmen.

Selbst das Fischbrötchen auf der Hand macht keinen Spaß mehr. Jedes mal wenn ich mich aus Hunger doch hinreißen lasse, ärgere ich mich nach dem ersten Bissen. Das Personal ist selten unfreundlich, wirkt aber meistens sehr gestresst.

Zowat in elke duitse stad dat we bezoeken eten we graag een broodje of een bordje gefrituurde visjes.

Die Speisen und Snacks die hier angeboten werden sind alle lecker und frisch. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich,da kehrt man doch gern mal ein!

Pensé que el menú se veía atractivo y quería probar. Había 2 colas pero no estaba seguro de a qué ir, así que mi esposo y yo hicimos cola en ambos. En ambas colas nos rechazaron aunque entendieron nuestro pedido. Más disgustado con el tratamiento.
