Leos Brasserie in Leipzig

Was very loud in Leos today Service friendly as always.

Despite making a reservation for a larger group, we didn't feel welcome. Nothing was prepared or tables cleaned. The waitress was definitely just having a bad day, I doubt that she always goes through life so listless and sad. Almost 2 hours before the official closing time, we were forced to pay and were almost thrown out. At least the food was tasty and came fairly quickly. The chef definitely deserves 5 stars 👍

Despite a reservation, you don't feel wanted there, nor do the staff seem prepared. Our waitress seemed very unhappy with her job as not a single smile came from her lips. The food was okay, the cocktails saved the evening. At 10 p.m. we were asked to pay, even though other opening times were stated. A disappointing visit that was definitely our last...

Unfortunately, the food wasn't anything special, so any fast food chain wouldn't have done anything differently. The fish and chips and nuggets and the dips with them also sounded better than they were. I had a rather negative attitude towards the service staff, as multiple reports or shouts were ignored and people tried desperately to be funny without being so. Overall, maybe I was there at the wrong time and on the wrong day, but I don't really understand the very positive review.

You are just really cool, the food is excellent. The prices are already too cheap. The ambience is timeless but also beautiful.

All around a good shop. I had the vegetarian Pförtnerschnitte and it was excellent. The service was nice and everything was quick and delicious. That's how it should be :)

So the service was somehow overwhelmed with 6 people with 2 bills and there was no recommendation that the spiced meat was also available in large. The little spiced meat is just way too expensive for 7 euros!!!!!!!! It's been a long time since I've visited there and it wasn't worth it!!!! By the way, the seasoned meat was only lukewarm...

Delicious food, service was quick and prompt. Petra had complained about her tip and was probably just having a bad day.

We went here for breakfast for the first time. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The rolls are still warm. The staff are friendly. We'd love to come back.

Every time I'm in Leipzig with my wife, we eat here at least once or twice. The service staff is very friendly and the food is very tasty. We always enjoy going there and I can always recommend Leos Brasserie for celebrations.

Price-performance winner! Top quality food at an affordable price. Thanks to our waitress Petra, who rushed to bring our orders and was always nice to you despite the stairs on the way and the full house Smile was. Clean toilets with enough paper supplies available. Only the size and volume of the rooms are reminiscent of a train station hall. Ideal for groups and smaller meetings, not for a romantic dinner for two. Recommended

If you want to eat and drink inexpensively, Leos is the right place for you. You can usually always find a seat here, even without a reservation. You just have to like the room atmosphere (quite loud) or be able to tune it out. Otherwise, it's pricey -performance is given and the staff is generally always friendly.

Bad service after the change because you don't get anything anymore because you are mispriced. But if you don't want to make money then so be it. Otherwise the food is not enough 😄😄😄

As a larger group, we spent a Saturday evening there to our satisfaction. But certainly not possible without ordering the seats. It was very busy but the service was really good. Anyone who wants to have a conversation at this time has a problem, but everyone seemed to be having fun.

Very good food, but absolutely not enough sauce for the pork cheeks, quick service, unfortunately we didn't receive a bill when paying, only the buzzer was mentioned, after more than 10 minutes the bill was brought, unfortunately we no longer had time to make our complaint (Concert!), on the bill there was actually a special request (2.00 euros) for a sauce that was not clear from which powder it was made!! Mr. Maggi would have been rolling over in his grave, what was sold to us as sauce tasted vomit-inducing

Over the last 5 years I have spent many good evenings in this restaurant. Whether it's a bachelor party, company events or meetings with business partners from all over Europe - to this day Leos has been one of the first addresses for me. As I said - until today! At around 9 p.m. we were informed that there was a "RESERVATION" and that from 9:15 p.m. the area where we were sitting would be needed for other guests. There was no mention of this at 7 p.m. when we were assigned the table. In other words, we were clearly asked to leave this (until then hospitable place) without any misconduct on our part. I consider this to be an impertinence and in the future I will invite my business partners to restaurants where they value customers who have made sales worth a van in 5 years. It's a shame, because the kitchen and service have always been top notch and are expressly excluded from this criticism.

The grill plate is a complete joke, it is the size of a starter plate - unfortunately at the price of a main course - so it is wrongly listed there. The place is extremely loud so you can't have a conversation. Furthermore, the staff says nothing about the pants of children who were quieted down with various films/games on Saturday evening at the neighboring table with their smartphones at full volume. That wasn't a brilliant achievement!

We had dinner there with a group of 27 people and were very positively surprised. Everything was well organized, from the reservation, the service to the food. The service was friendly and quick, the food came quickly and was super tasty. It is a very large room and of course there is a certain amount of noise, but that was acceptable. We would come back at any time.

Friendly service, large portions and a very extensive drinks menu.

A relaxed shop. It is also possible to sit outside. What I liked was the acoustics, even though it was quite crowded you could still have a good conversation. There was even an ice cream menu! If you visit Leipzig again, I would be happy to do so again.

A very nice restaurant. With a large sunny terrace. Very close to city center.

Pleasant atmosphere. Nice, friendly and considerate staff. A bit noisy when there are a lot of guests. Invites you to linger longer. Food is served very quickly after ordering. 👍

Unfortunately I wasn't that happy, I find it very loud and crowded in Leos, you sit like you're at the train station and you can't really have a conversation in peace. The food was nothing more than okay... fast food and mass processing unfortunately my food arrived cold. So if you want to have a nice meal in Leipzig in the evening and have a chat in a quiet environment, there are definitely better restaurants than I can't recommend Leos. Nevertheless, the staff were in a good mood and brought everything to the table promptly.

Huge “restaurant”. Well attended. Nice and very attentive service. Food tasted very good. Although we have probably raised the average age by 15 years, we felt comfortable.

Simple cuisine with a focus on schnitzels which are served surprisingly quickly. Due to the high workload, everything seems to move quite quickly. The staff tends to try to reoccupy the tables several times. But fine for a short stay. A reservation on the weekend is recommended.

Great brasserie in the heart of Leipzig. Friendly fast staff and delicious selection of food at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately the quality of the food was really very poor. There's no other way to say it. Yes, it's quite cheap and you don't expect much, but it should be a little bit above the canteen. Even the very friendly staff can't save that.

We've been to Leos several times when we've been to Leipzig. We have never been disappointed so far. The atmosphere of the restaurant is simply great and cozy. And a place was always found for us, even if the visits were mostly spontaneous. The menu has a large selection of dishes, so it should actually be one star less for being spoiled for choice 🤭. I've already tried a lot of pizza, pasta and schnitzel and it was delicious! If someone comments here that frozen pizza would have been the cheaper option, then I definitely cannot agree. The pizza was very successful. The drinks/cocktails are also to die for. We'll definitely be back. You just ask yourself with the recessions here, if everyone is happy with everything, then why not full stars? We definitely give it 5/5!

The food is okay but the Griller is so small. It costs 17,2e but the portion is so small, even for Asian people like me. But the beer and cider is good, a good place to enjoy this.

What a beautiful restaurant. We were lucky and were able to get one of the last tables outside. Sanitary clean and tidy. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was extremely friendly, quick and very attentive. The food and cocktails were very tasty. Price-performance ratio is right here. We really enjoyed our choice of this restaurant. Clear recommendation!

The food here always tastes great and is plentiful. We came spontaneously yesterday around 9 p.m., it was well attended and yet we were warmly welcomed and were able to sit at a table without a reservation. The service came quickly, was very polite and the food didn't take long. The homemade blue lemonade was delicious. I can only recommend it.

I can recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat something delicious inexpensively. The schnitzel with fries was good and the service was also completely fine. Every now and then someone would come by and ask if everything was okay and you could then order from them. All in all a good location.

The ambience no longer invites you to linger. Greasy chairs, wobbly armchairs, worn walls. The waitresses are usually friendly, but not careful enough, so you often have to wait a long time before you are served. / ironically meant: Most of the time you get your orders, but now and then you get, for example. instead of a Havana Cola a Cuba libre, instead of an omelet you suddenly have scrambled eggs. Sometimes you don't get anything at all and the table next to you is happy about the things you ordered, which you should then pay for anyway. Unfortunately, Leo's has declined significantly, which is a shame. 2017

So we've probably been there a good 10 times and will keep coming back. The cocktails are great, when it comes to food it all depends: finger food works well, I can't recommend burgers and pasta. The ambience is completely bar/pub style and the waiters also make the place a restaurant that we like to come to again and again. When it's full, it's still relatively organized and there's always a spot available somewhere

After seeing that the beer at the bar was only half full and only filled with a glass of foam, I unfortunately only give the restaurant one star. And because the pizza was unfortunately only frozen.

We recommend! We have been satisfied with the fast service and good prices for years. You can reliably find solid home cooking with a high number of hits, especially historical ossi dishes. If you expect gourmet cuisine, you've come to the wrong place.

We were there as a birthday group. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, our orders were processed faster than average. As soon as you ordered from one employee, the next employee brought the drink! Really super organized. The service staff were generally very friendly and were able to answer some questions about the product and ingredients. Even when we wanted to move from indoors to outdoors, it went without any problems. The food was received differently by our group, but mostly positively. All in all it was a nice evening there and we will definitely come back again :)

The restaurant near the train station is actually a little secret tip for Leipzig if you know your way around Leipzig. The service is very good and fast. The menu is typical of the region and is very attractively priced compared to other federal states. It was ordered and it would be served very quickly and of good quality. And if you don't find anything, it's your own fault. A good concept for top prices and great service. I'll be happy to come back next year for WGT 2025.
