We recommend! We have been satisfied with the fast service and good prices for years. You can reliably find solid home cooking with a high number of hits, especially historical ossi dishes. If you expect gourmet cuisine, you've come to the wrong place.

The service was (for Leipzig standards!) super friendly and attentive!!! Food was good and the prices were really great 👍

We were there as a birthday group. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, our orders were processed faster than average. As soon as you ordered from one employee, the next employee brought the drink! Really super organized. The service staff were generally very friendly and were able to answer some questions about the product and ingredients. Even when we wanted to move from indoors to outdoors, it went without any problems. The food was received differently by our group, but mostly positively. All in all it was a nice evening there and we will definitely come back again :)

The schnitzel is extra large and the meat is soft and delicious. The prices are reasonable compared to other stores, and you can easily go there. Although the response time may be slow, the staff are kind. As for drinks, beer and cocktails are recommended rather than wine.

The restaurant near the train station is actually a little secret tip for Leipzig if you know your way around Leipzig. The service is very good and fast. The menu is typical of the region and is very attractively priced compared to other federal states. It was ordered and it would be served very quickly and of good quality. And if you don't find anything, it's your own fault. A good concept for top prices and great service. I'll be happy to come back next year for WGT 2025.

Ich bin seit vielen Jahren immer wieder Gast im Leos Brasserie. Ich war immer sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, schnell, offen und bedacht. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und lädt zum Verweilen und Freunde treffen ein. Jetzt das große ABER: jeder Betrieb ist nur so gut wie seine Mitarbeiter. Und diese sollten auch entsprechende Wertschätzung erfahren. Leider kann ich dies, zumindest heute, nicht bestätigen. Ich und meine Begleitung saßen in der Nähe der Bar haben mehr als ein Mal mitbekommen, wie das Servicepersonal vom (wie ich nach meiner Beschwerde an der Bar erfahren habe) Junior Chef unangemessen zurecht gewiesen wurden. Tatsächlich ist diese Umschreibung sehr untertrieben. An dieser Stelle möchte ich mir weitere Ausführungen sparen,aber diese waren noch unter den Kommandos die man einem verzogenen Hund geben würde, ein zu kategorisieren. Unter aller Sau, kein Stück auf Augenhöhe, respektlos, unangebracht und in einer Lautstärke das man nicht umhin kam, weg zuhören. Im Anschluss kam eine nette Bedienung an die Bar und erfragt die Art meiner Beschwerde. Leider war der Betreffende nicht in der Lage, selber zu erfragen wie das Problem liegen könnte. Ich habe meine Bedenken bzgl der Mitarbeiterfürsorge und -Mentalität geäußert. Ich habe, ganz ehrlich nicht das Gefühl, dass dieser Aufruf irgendwas ändern wird, aber vielleicht führt es dazu, dass auch die Gäste mehr beobachten und soll eine unmögliche Art und Weise der Geschäftsführung aufzeigen.

I had by far the best farmer's breakfast I've had in years. The service was really great. Very quick and very courteous and attentive. A very clear recommendation from us. We would definitely like to come back. Thank you very much.

We went there for dinner on a recommendation during this year's WGT. Even though the dining room is very large, there were just as many service staff on site. Ordering was quick and the drinks were brought to the table even quicker. Super nice service staff - at this point many thanks to Anne - and of course everyone else :-) Questions about food were answered without complaint - on the contrary, very nicely and questions were also asked in the kitchen. The food is consistently a dream. We have rarely eaten something so delicious. In addition, a price-performance ratio that is second to none. Our absolute recommendation and many thanks to everyone involved!

Delicious food at a good price. Ragout Fin as a main course is more than sufficient. The atmosphere is rather rustic, but cozy. The outside area is nice and big. You always find a place. The smoking area is separated.

This was a good find and is a great place to eat, with very friendly staff and a selection of beers, soft drinks, and cocktails to keep everyone happy. There's a cocktail happy hour (actually 2 hours) from 1900-2100 daily, so plan accordingly 🍹😉 🍹 There's plenty of seating both inside and outside. From a romantic meal for two or groups of 10, so a good place for parties, family get-togethers, and corporate events. The food was well presented and delicious with a combination of traditional and global North. A huge thanks to the staff who provided us with a great experience, and I am now a huge fan of banana beer!!!🍌🍺 I would highly recommend Leo's Basserie, and I'll be back when I next pass through Germany.

Reservations worked great. The waiter was nice and friendly. The food was great, nothing to complain about. The ice cream sundae was very nicely prepared and also delicious. Then a few more cocktails later. They were great too. That's how it has to be.

On Sunday we returned with three people. My bruscetta tasted okay. Unfortunately the bread was only crispy on the edge. The bread itself was flabby and soggy. It would have been better if the bread had been toasted a little beforehand. The price for the 3 slices was fair! The schnitzel with champion sauce and fries was ok. The sauce had an aftertaste like ready-made sauces. The price was more than fair at €12.90. The ambience was ok. Although there was a lot of free space, people were seated in the interior near the bar. You weren't asked whether it was at the window or inside. The seating was ok but I wouldn't want to sit there for more than an hour as it would be uncomfortable. The service was friendly! Unfortunately inattentive to drinks and until you got the drinks. The restaurant was hardly crowded inside and there weren't many guests sitting outside either.

In good weather, the outdoor area is very large with many tables. The portions are large: I had the Leon salad: delicious.

The menu offers an excellent selection and there is something for everyone, and the price/performance ratio is also good. I've been a guest at least once every time I've visited Leipzig and have never been disappointed by the staff. Very attentive and really quick. In addition, the chairs in the outdoor area are also suitable for a longer session, which should always be mentioned, because what use is the best food and staff if you need an appointment with a physiotherapist afterwards. Clear recommendation from me to visit.

Fast service. Incredible food. Low prices. It may not look as pretty on the outside, but this charming restaurant in the centre of leipzig is one of the best out there! We went with a big group and they did not have room for us initially, but they creatively came up with a solution that would fit us all. Fantastic.

Anyone traveling in Leipzig should stop by here. The food is varied and very good. The staff is very friendly. In the evening, when it is a little cooler and you still want to sit outside, blankets are also provided. Simply great. The price is in the normal range.

We had dinner there today. Unfortunately it was totally cramped. There was a Soljanka beforehand that was totally solid. The bruschetta was a little unseasoned. Then a schnitzel with mushrooms. The mushroom sauce was just a mushy lumpy roux with the consistency of Jell-O. Just not tasty. The meat itself was good. Burgers okay. Coffee was okay. Unfortunately, my son was unable to eat dessert due to his lactose intolerance. It's a shame because there are enough alternatives for such people. The allergen labeling on the card is a disaster. Some dishes have numbers, some don't and we don't know what the numbers mean, and that's true in all 5 cards we had. No comments on the website either. A catastrophe for me as an allergy sufferer

The service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is very nice and lots of space. However, I've eaten much better, the schnitzel with mushrooms wasn't really worth the money: I haven't had canned mushrooms for a long time, it's really not necessary for the price. The fries were tasty and the schnitzel was okay. Really not a culinary highlight.

Drinks came quickly and were fine, service but so did the food... It came quickly and I already suspected that something was wrong. I ordered a schnitzel with mushroom sauce and the sauce looked like snot and had a strange consistency, schnitzel is ok but I think it would be warmed up in the microwave. Very unfortunate :(

It wasn't nice at all. The waiters weren't behind at all and didn't come to the place. When you asked, they responded with annoyance. In addition, no one felt approached to take the order. Then I was cheated when paying and was supposed to pay more money than my order cost and they didn't see it despite me showing it to them on the card. Was there 2 weeks ago. Super nice service - totally relaxed service, also very humorous. Not a long wait (but it wasn't too busy either). I went there on the recommendation of a friend. In any case, I had the vegetable omelette, but unfortunately it was a little too foamy and it also tasted very bland. Not eggy at all :( In addition, the door to the smoking room is always open, so the non-smoking section often smells like cigarettes. Nevertheless, the ambience is really nice and not too hyper-modern. Simply classic and simple. I would still go back and eat something different next time :D Btw: My companions' pizzas were supposed to be delicious :)

Despite the Leos being full, we all had our six ordered meals after about 15 minutes. And it was delicious too. There was even a special menu for vegan food lovers upon request. It's only loud when it's full.

Do-it-yourself burger is ok as a concept, but the meat was fried to death. A pity.

The staff was friendly and well organized, you feel welcome. However, the food was quite a disappointment. The schnitzel was carelessly fried from the frozen food and garnished with canned mushrooms and soggy sauce. The burger was a flop and had to be put together yourself. There was no trace of sauce here. The fries were delicious. Two hours later, the food was still heavy in my stomach. Next time we might go somewhere else or just come here to drink. A pity.

A beautiful location. Generous space between the tables and ideal for people with limited mobility as 75% of the space is at ground level. What should be highlighted is the cleanliness of the toilet and the cocktail rush hour. Delicious cocktails and an excellent selection of draft beers

A legendary brasserie with a cozy atmosphere and delicious cuisine. It’s as if time has stopped here: antique furniture, semicircular heavy sofas everywhere, dim lighting. In addition, the lion's share of the restaurant is occupied by the smoking area. As for the menu, the selection of food and drinks is commendable and the portion size is surprising. In a good sense of the word. So you can safely take a peasant breakfast (omelet with potatoes and cracklings) for two. Ice coffee is especially good as a drink.

Discovered the bar at a trade fair a year ago and spent two wonderful evenings there. A lot of love goes out to the entire staff, especially the gentleman with the honorable beard and the English name!

We were here on December 7th, 2019 Unfortunately, the food was too much warm and the food e.g. the potato salad was not so good. I was until now always very satisfied Been... 😮😮 4 years later February 2024! Eating steak with fries fries and onions, steak was good but too small. Medium would be better, onions weren't that good. ⭐⭐

So, a must for everyone. Visitors to our beautiful city shouldn't miss this either

Bevor wir nach Leipzig gefahren sind , habe ich uns schon passende interessante Restaurants heraus gesucht, so auch Leos Brasserie. Das Restaurant Ambiente ist toll , sehr groß und es hat viele Sitzplätze. Es war zum Mittag schon sehr voll und wie wir beobachten konnten gibt es dort viele Stammgäste. Ich glaube im Sommer muss man bestimmt dort reservieren , da so viele Gäste. Es gibt ein Raucher und Nichtraucher Restaurant , was super ist. Das Speise Angebot ist sehr groß und was uns gefallen hat , endlich mal ein Restaurant mit Hausmannskost. In anderen Restaurants gibts ja sonst nur immer Nudeln und Pizza. Empfehlung : Vorher nichts essen , da die Portionen ziemlich groß sind. Die Preise sind klein und man wird mehr als satt. Wer sein Essen nicht schafft , kann es sich einpacken lassen. Das Essen selbst schmeckt sehr gut , obwohl es ein Mix aus Selbstgekocht und Fertigprodukten ist. Die Kellnerinnen sind super super nett , hilfsbereit und fragen zwischendurch ob alles okay ist. Man wird schnell bedient und muss nicht ewig warten. Falls das ein Mitarbeiter liest : Viele Grüße und großes Lob an die Kellnerin die auch mal in Stralsund gearbeitet hat. Bei unserem nächsten Leipzig Besuch kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.
