I went to eat the buffet and the food was terrible, tasteless and not appetizing at all!

The worst "Mexican" restaurant I've ever been to. If the president of Mexico ate here, he'd declare war on Germany.

The drinks and the evening buffet were absolutely fantastic. I'd love to go back.

Great atmosphere, the food is good. Unfortunately, it's too good, and at some point you can't eat any more (even if you'd like to because of the taste).

There were 15 of us, and our service was simply fantastic. Lea and two other girls took great care of us. They explained the dishes and checked in with us at our table regularly. The food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed it. The terrace was perfect for such a sunny day. This won't be the last time we've been there as a team.

The worst Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at - never again! Cheap ingredients thrown together without care, and the service was completely overwhelmed, even though they had enough staff. If you like this kind of Mexican convenience food, you can buy the ingredients ready-made at the supermarket.

We always enjoy coming here. Whether brunch or à la carte. The menu and the brunch are varied and there should be something for everyone. The waitresses are always very friendly and accommodating, but when there are more visitors (number of visitors), the clearing service can leave something to be desired. Nevertheless, we would like to come back. 👍🏻

I've never seen such a dirty restaurant. Cobwebs everywhere, a dirty pool on the terrace, the table was sticky. A main menu cost around €20. The ingredients are poor, frozen goods are beautifully presented. Ajajaj, I'm surprised at the positive reviews. The staff was friendly, even if inexperienced, and saved the visit.

We were here for the first time. Unfortunately a construction site. The barrier-free access via an elevator was very good, but it didn't fit into the ambience. Food was average. Good, but nothing special that stays in your memory for a long time. Service was unfortunately very slow, but friendly. Despite relatively few visitors on Monday evening, we had to wait a long time; no one ever came to the table to ask whether we wanted to order something or to clear the table. There was probably chaos in the kitchen but that happens. Greetings from the catering industry. Unfortunately I wasn't impressed by the visit. But the potential is very high. And a big point of criticism at the end: The homemade milkshake is made with ice cubes. Why? Tastes disgusting. Not appropriate. Do yourself a favor and change the recipe. All the best to you.

It was a very nice stay again, the food was delicious, the drinks were also very good and Clara as the waitress was very nice.

Even though we didn't have a reservation and it was very full, we were allowed to partake in the Easter brunch on the terrace. The buffet was rich and the vegans among us were also made happy. The ambience gave the whole thing a bit of a holiday feeling and we would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Attended a brunch. Drinks had to be paid extra. Apart from coleslaw and cold corn, there were no vegetables, and after a short time all of the fries. Cleanliness is average at the buffet. Little choice.

Bei unserem Besuch des Restaurants haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, kompetent und lösungsorientiert. Das Essen war super lecker, die Getränke/ Cocktails ebenso. Das Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich, für beeinträchtigte Menschen barrierefrei zugänglich. Es gibt eine Fahrstuhl um in die 1. Etage in die Räumlichkeiten zu gelangen und ein behindertengerechtes WC. Auch ein Wickeltisch ist vorhanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder zum kulinarischem Besuch.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The restaurant is very lovingly furnished and the service is great, but if you're looking for real Mexican cuisine here, you'll look in vain - wheat tortillas instead of corn tortillas, fried vegetables with herbs from Provence!?, no hot sauces, no coriander, and the worst pozole I've ever had. What a shame... it's just a very German interpretation of Mexican food. If that doesn't bother you, you'll definitely be happy here

Super delicious food, delicious drinks, top service. Very child-friendly and with a very nice play area. A big plus point: you can order drinks from the table using a QR code and you don't always have to wait for a waiter.

Went for brunch and my review only refers to that. Service and employees are super nice and accommodating. The ambience is nice at first glance, but could slowly get an update. Some of the chairs are pretty worn out and time leaves its mark on the inventory. Personally, I didn't really like the food without being able to directly attach it to something. But the selection was quite large. A plus point is the play area for children. Be careful, drinks are not included in the brunch and they really pack a punch. But you can know if you read up on it Will try it again when it's not brunch.

We made a reservation even though we saw that the reviews weren't the best. Drove over and in the door. Oh, what is that, totally colorful and overloaded. I hardly believe what a restaurant in Mexico will look like. Then I saw the people at the buffet, they arrived with very small plates, with a tiny piece of meat and something on them. We didn't have enough money for that. We didn't even go in and looked for another restaurant. And then we had a wonderful dinner.

Dined there for the first time last night. It was delicious. Nice and empty so late and had great, friendly service. Food wonderful and drinks great. Nice atmosphere and everything was very clean. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything at a late hour.

A very pleasant atmosphere and a delicious buffet. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed with our drinks and spent at least 3-4 minutes searching for my herbal tea on her machine. All in all, though, a pleasant visit! We'll definitely be back!

We were there for the BBQ grill buffet. We stood at the entrance for quite a long time until someone came. The food didn't look that appetizing and didn't taste that great either. You can do it even better at home. The drinks were good and the service was okay too. The ambience is great.

The two of us tried the grilled platter and were completely overwhelmed by the amount 😂. Everything was excellent in terms of taste and quality. We then had the leftovers packed up and ate it for two more evenings. We felt a bit sorry for the nice waitress, who was running around all day after 6:00 PM because he was alone. The evening buffet was okay and offered solid self-service Mexican cuisine. The drinks service, partly also via the app, was very chaotic and sometimes took more than 20 minutes. The staff were generally very attentive and friendly, but seemed very uncoordinated. There should be a manager present who keeps an overview and intervenes/supports if necessary. Therefore for friendliness 4*, coordination only 2* = 3*

We (my partner and I) went to ESPITAS for the first time on a Friday around 5pm. The restaurant impressed us from the outside. We were immediately taken to our seats, received our drinks and were able to go straight to the buffet. This offers the opportunity to try everything out (it was our first time in a Mexican restaurant). We were pleasantly surprised and will come back.

This is the second time I've been there and I'm always surprised. It's absolutely delicious. Service is impeccable. I'd love to come back.

We reserved a table for Valentine's Day and spent the evening at Espitas. The ambience was very nice and the waiters were also very friendly. The food was okay, side dishes, dips and vegetables were all delicious, the guacamole with nachos was particularly recommended. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for the drinks, around 20-25 minutes. That's a bit long. Our main problem was the culinary meat offering. Unfortunately, this didn't suit us due to the processing, which is very unfortunate given the price (and we are passionate meat eaters). A few examples to illustrate: There was chicken in sauce, which was unfortunately too dry, there were pork ribs, which unfortunately weren't as tender and didn't come off well from the knocking, as is usually the case with ribs, there was a live grill, where both the beef rump steak and the pork medallions were not cooked through and were each half raw. This may work with beef (it's also a matter of taste), but unfortunately we couldn't eat the pork. We expected more from a Mexican restaurant, especially when there was live grilling, so we were unfortunately disappointed and probably wouldn't try the buffet food like this again. Nevertheless, there is one star for the ambience, one for the friendly staff and one for side dishes etc. One star deduction for the imperfect meat and one star deduction for the resulting poor price-performance ratio. We hope that the feedback helps to improve the services in the future, so we were happy to take the time to write.

Food was delicious, service made you roll your eyes (1.5 hours until everyone had their first (!) drink, order was forgotten, order was mixed up, everything took an incredibly long time, inattentive), I would have liked to have ordered more drinks or even dessert, but that wasn't possible because no service staff seemed to make an effort Overall, a bit of a mess, i.e. tables weren't wiped down after being cleared and menus were stuck together.

I was there at the weekend and honestly expected more. The ambience is very cool but that's it. You can get the food at least as good at home with a microwave. It's nice to buy the cheap wraps from the discount store and put some cheese on them, microwave them for 2 minutes and you're done. This is what the food looked like and tasted like.

It was my first time visiting for All You Can Eat. Despite the fact that it was well attended, I felt very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Everything I ate was super tasty and freshly prepared. I'll definitely come back!

Nice atmosphere, but the restaurant could use a good cleaning (dusty lamps and lint-filled windows). The food was mediocre but the service was a bit of a disaster. Drinks sometimes only came after the meal or not at all. Was an experience but would not visit this place again.

The Espitas is simply great. I haven't been there for a while and this was my first time at the buffet. The selection is great and everything I tried was delicious. Our waitress Vanessa is an 11 out of 10 🫶🏽. The prices are totally OK and the ambience just makes you feel good. The little ones have the opportunity to go play so that they don't get bored. The only small negative point - the parking lot. The Espitas is understandably very busy, so it is difficult to get a free parking space at peak times. We will definitely come back ❤️

For the first time as a guest, I was surprised by the ambience, I didn't expect that, SUPER worth seeing. You have to pick up your food from the buffet yourself, so everything can be tried out and usually refilled before the end. Service is quick and friendly, drinks are brought. Reservation required.

So €76 for two people is not cheap. The buffet was extensive but the food was cold, which meant that all the meat was tough, which was a shame. But the worst of all are dirty plates with leftover food from the previous person that were not cleaned properly. Finding a clean plate at the buffet was a gamble. The two cocktails for €8.50 each were delicious and worth the money, but the food was definitely not.

Essen kam nach einer ewig langen Wartezeit zt.lauwarm , Maiskolben war schon so abgekühlt , das die dazu gereichte Butter nicht mehr schmolz usw.am Tisch an , Rippchen waren gut , aber hätten heißer sein sollen und fleischiger. Ofengemüse war ok. Bestellung war unvollständig , 1 Ofenkartoffel fehlte und sollte sofort nachgereicht werden , leider kam auch diese nicht an , sodass wir sie dann abbestellt haben .Schon aus hygienischen Gründen und Vorgaben, muss das Essen bei mindestens 70 °C den Gast erreichen .Bei allem Verständnis für die Arbeitskräftesituation und großem Respekt für Menschen die unter so schwierigen Bedingungen noch bereit sind zu arbeiten und tagtäglich ihr bestes geben .Dem Gast ist das aber egal , er möchte sich rundum wohlfühlen , lecker essen und zufrieden nach Hause gehen . Wenn man als Chef in so einer schwierigen personellen Situation steckt , muss man handeln . Weniger Bestellungen annehmen , vielleicht nur auf Büfett setzen . Ansonsten bleiben die Gäste weg , auch der Service hat nicht jeden Tag Lust auf unzufriedene , kritisierende Gäste und wirft irgend wann das Handuch. Auch ein Koch ist keine Maschine und gibt irgendwann auf , trotz er alles hinter den Kulissen menschenmögliche tut ,um die Gäste rundum kulinarisch zu erreichen .Ich kann nur der Geschäftsleitung nahe legen , gemeinsam mit dem Personal nach Lösungen zu suchen , damit der Mexikikaner nicht bald Geschichte ist, was sehr schade wäre .

The ambience corresponds to the Mexican feeling. The bar is impressively large and beautifully decorated. We were lucky that there wasn't much going on. The food is very good: tacos and especially the 10 shrimps as a starter. Overall there is a large selection and the portions are plentiful. We will definitely come back.

Yesterday we visited with a large group and ate our way through the buffet. There is a lot to choose from at the buffet and there is something for everyone. A lot of it tasted very good but unfortunately the meat was mostly very dry. The ambience is very good and was also clean. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired. There are too few staff for the many guests. It was pointed out that cocktails take a little longer, but 45 minutes is awesome. There is enough parking space behind the restaurant, so getting there was very easy for us. All in all, it was still a great evening. Price and performance are right.

The food was really fantastic and the atmosphere is very pleasant. What was really not pleasant was our service. It was clear from the start that she wasn't interested. Unfortunately he couldn't help us with certain ingredients, forgot orders and often pretty much ignored us. Unfortunately, I can only give one warning when it comes to cocktails. 70-80% ice and the rest drink is really cheeky for the price. So today we went to the BBQ buffet again for a long time. I have to say, your prices are gourmet. The two of us paid €80 with two drinks each (2x non-alcoholic, 2x shandy) and a buffet. I almost fell out of my chair. That has no relation to the quality of the food. I'm really really disappointed today!

It was our first time at ESPITAS. The service was very attentive and friendly. The interior is lovingly decorated in Mexican style and true to the theme. The building itself also looks funky. We were also very impressed visually by the bar. We were satisfied with the drinks. However, the food was okay. Most of the dishes were relatively tasteless. The soup, ribs and tacos simply lacked seasoning. I liked the guacamole and beef steaks.

If you like Mexican food, this is the place for you. The buffet on Saturday was lavish and varied. The ambience will captivate those who love details. There were also a lot of service staff on the go. Top address!

I imagined typical Mexican to be different. All in all rather poor and unimaginative.

Something completely different. From the front, Torgauer Straße, a bit hidden at first glance, there is plenty of free parking space for guests behind the property. Access - the house is literally on stilts - is via stairs. You get your food from the extensive buffet. It tasted great. The decoration is quaint and there are several separate levels so you don't get in each other's way.

Sauteuer (70€ für Essen mit 1x Bier und 1x Aparol) und nach dem Essen, standen die leeren mit Speiseresten bestückten Teller, Gläser usw. geschlagene 20min auf dem Tisch, kein Kellner anwesend, mann konnte weder nachbestellen, noch bezahlen, nach einer halben Stunde kam dann jemand und erklärte uns, dass Sie ja schließlich Pause hatte, kassieren hat dann nochmal ne gute Viertelstunde gedauert, da Sie ja erstmal ALLE Personen aufnehmen musste, danach kam Sie dann mit den Kassenzetteln und jeder durfte bezahlen....nie wieder...

I invited my guests to Sunday brunch for my birthday and found a beautifully set table. Whoosh, the drinks were ordered and off we went to the treats. Since it was very, very full and there were a lot of birthday parties, plates or bowls were briefly out of stock, but this was quickly remedied. The variety and taste of the food impressed us all, including mine The youngest guest found plenty of food that he obviously enjoyed. We happened to drive past Espitas and the design of the building really appealed to us, so we made a spontaneous stop here. We really enjoyed the visit and didn't regret it. The service is polite, attentive and always available when you need something. Problems are dealt with directly and we try to make the best possible out of them. Despite our spontaneous visit, we got a table without any problems. The food is typically Mexican and the menu offers plenty of choice. You can even try grasshoppers at Espitas. We really liked our selection too! The ambience in the restaurant completely blew our socks off. Everything inside is coordinated and you almost get the feeling of sitting in Mexico. Very comfortable! Something different. We can warmly recommend Espitas! We will most likely come back again.
