About 10 minutes walk from the main station. Tower ride up to the restaurant is free. If you want to go a few meters higher to the viewing platform, you pay a flat rate of €5/person. Increased restaurant prices, but tasty & a great view.

For 43€ tuna with something else on the plate and a lot of almost raw peppers, the fish was ordered medium and basically fried to a crisp, fart dry, not again.

So my €43 meal was tuna with something else on the plate, I ordered medium and it was absolutely gorgeous, my tip, not in such thin slices, but whole on the plate, then it works if you can do it. Otherwise, nice view and the restaurant can't do anything for the parking fees of 12€ for 3 hours.

We were here for brunch on Sunday. The food was very tasty and varied. The service staff was very nice, attentive and quick. We had a great seat by the window. We can definitely recommend the brunch!

Die Aussicht von der Plattform auf einer Höhe von 130 m ist gigantisch, absolut top! Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und betreut, auf manche Getränkebestellung mussten wir recht lange warten oder nochmal neu bestellen. Das Essen war exzellent, der Thunfisch von der Qualität her absolut mega, selten so gut bekommen. Dessert Creme Brulee samt Eis ebenfalls sehr gut. Absolutes No-Go: der muffige Geruch im Eingangs-Bereich bei den Fahrstühlen und der wirklich ekelhafte Gestank auf den Toiletten! Fazit: zum Essen und für den Ausblick würde ich auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

So: Mother, father and child stand in front of the Uniriesen in Leipzig on Sunday evening around 7:30 p.m. and decide: "While we're there, we'll have a look down there. And if we find a restaurant up there, Then we'll at least eat some spicy meat..." So we finally showed up in our hoodies where one or two evening dresses could already be seen. Well, whatever, the view of the city in the evening was supposed to be a lasting event for my son. -END?- Not quite. But you can actually keep it short. With an average price of around 40 euros per meal, per dish (there was no seasoned meat), what you get is disproportionate. Really, without having booked in advance and without further ado, we got the last table, which also had a "reserved" sign on it - with a view. The food came promptly, without a long wait and the orange juice didn't even have any ice cubes in it. ...it was probably the most excellently prepared pork fillet I have ever eaten!!! BUT: The operation is a bit tricky. Sure, everyone has a bad day sometimes. But the entire workforce??? We had contact with 3 different waitresses. Everyone looked as if they had been on a 3-year return flight from Mars to Earth and were now at the level of the moon about to collapse. They weren't unfriendly, but it didn't go well with the evening dress of some of the guests. You shouldn't let a little leftover attitude derail you, not at the level that the prices on the menu seem to indicate. Was it just that or the toilet too? Who knows. I hope the photos speak for themselves... Regardless, it must have been a nice evening, at least for the little one. But we won't be coming back any time soon.

It was a nice Sunday brunch, However, we expected a little more at lunch...everything was tasty, but somehow we were all missing something.

The food was at a level that you would expect at this price. The service was very attentive. However, I would at least reconsider the decoration... Above all, the cleanliness and equipment of the toilets leaves a lot to be desired! They were in stark contrast to the rest of the experience and spoiled it a bit for me (despite the great view).

We came here for coffee. Everything is of very good quality and the view is excellent. Only the staff gave the impression that they seemed stressed/tense, although in our opinion there were enough staff and only a few guests present. It's a shame otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

The wine recommendations also harmonized perfectly with the food. The atmosphere in the restaurant was unique, elegant yet cozy. It was the perfect place for a special evening. Price-performance was absolutely justified given the quality of the food and the exceptional experience. We will definitely come back and can recommend the Panorama Tower Restaurant to anyone looking for a special culinary experience in Leipzig.

We were only on the viewing platform and were able to get a great all-round view of Leipzig. The drive up and the ascent are worth it.

Luxurious restaurant on the 29th floor of the Leipzig skyscraper, the view from the room is beautiful. The service was impeccable and the dishes very elaborate and refined.

I have been to this restaurant before and loved the staff and quality of the food. Unfortunately, that has changed recently. The food doesn't taste as good as it used to and the dishes (especially salads) that used to be delicious have lost their taste and quality. I also noticed that the rolls that used to be served with the salads are no longer offered. Among other things, I think that sparkling water should be offered free of charge in a restaurant. The service seems less attentive and warm, which detracts from the restaurant experience. It's a real shame as I really appreciated the restaurant.

It was a wonderful experience... we were there with 50 people (company outing)... the service was great and the food was sooooo delicious 🤤 simply recommended.

This is definitely worth it. Price for the platform 5 euros per person. The view is really nice. The restaurant below, but the price is already upscale. But if you want to go out for a fancy meal and have great service, this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly.

We were only on the observation deck. Point is, a phenomenal view over the whole of Leipzig is excellent and the way there is very nice. We were very happy about the opportunity to have a cool drink at the top of the platform. The driveway to linger over the city is absolutely recommended when visiting Leipzig.

A place left standing in 2002. Card reader for the viewing platform. None. Instead, a machine that changes notes into the appropriate coins. The restaurant is very old. Torn benches and velvet chairs can be admired here. Unfortunately, the service doesn't match the prices. The restaurant was certainly a hit 20 years ago, but if you want to be high class, you unfortunately have to renovate from time to time. The viewing platform is worth a look.

We went for lunch as a family. As always, we really enjoyed it.

Entry to the platform is only possible with cash, coins. No card payment possible. The lady at the counter said she couldn't accept a card for a single person. Annoying and no longer up to date. I pay a lot in cash. But since I come from Switzerland and withdrawals are quite expensive, I pay a lot more by card abroad than at home. Therefore only one star.

The view from the tower is great, but the way there is really not good with an antediluvian cash register system. You have to change change beforehand in order to put the 5 euros into a turnstile. This is really difficult in the age of card payments. Therefore 3 points deducted.

We ate here for the first and probably the last time. If it were only based on the service and the view, I would give this place 5 stars, but in my opinion these two points do not justify the price-performance ratio. There were two of us here and we each had a starter and a main course and then I had a dessert. The food was good, but it wasn't a taste explosion, so it doesn't justify the ambitious prices in any way. Even if it was tasty... the view is really unique for a dinner, even despite the bad weather. The very nice ladies in service (both on site and when making the reservation on the phone) do their best and would definitely justify 5 stars. I was really shocked in the women's sanitary facilities. It was very dirty and not at all what I expected for the price range of the restaurant. We were very happy that a birthday voucher reduced the bill somewhat.

Torn upholstery on the benches, dirty wall wallpaper, empty towel dispensers and defective hand dryers as well as ventilation that is far too weak are the most noticeable external features. In addition, the service is not very friendly or even overwhelmed: even in a 1-star hotel, a group of 6 people are given a coffee pot at the table and do not have to ask every time. Not related to food! It's the year 2024 and in Germany you still can't pay for entry to a viewing platform with a card. Instead, visitors can expect two money changing machines so that they can feed the turnstile with five euros. Really smart too: However, it doesn't accept 50 cents, but only 1 & 2 euro coins.

Went there for brunch on Sunday. It is absolutely incomprehensible that in 2024 in a modern city like Leipzig, in an upscale restaurant in a prime city center location, there was nothing for vegans to eat apart from grilled vegetables at the breakfast buffet and a subterranean curry at the lunch buffet. And the range of warm dishes was also manageable for vegetarians. If you are only offered filter coffee, tea and cocoa for 45€/person, you have to order sparkling wine and coffee specialties for an additional charge, the desserts have simply run out at some point, and the seat cushions are worn out, then you unfortunately have to realize that this is value for money at all Unfortunately, the great view doesn't make up for everything. Conclusion: once and not again.

Bei dieser Preisklasse (Hauptgericht 36-45 Euro) darf man auch gehobene Ansprüche haben. Die Bedienung musste immer das letzte Wort haben. Das Essen wurden einem auf einem vorgeheizten heißen Teller nicht auf den Tisch gestellt sondern in die Hand übergeben so das es Schmerzlaute gab. Erst dann sagte die Bedienung „Ja, der Teller ist heiß“. In einem gehobenen Restaurant wird der Teller vom Ober auf den Tisch gestellt und nicht in die Hand gereicht. Die Nudeln waren lauwarm. Insgesamt hat es unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Schön angerichtet, aber nur durchschnittlich im Geschmack. Die Aussicht auf Leipzig hingegen war gigantisch.

For 5 euros you can go to the viewing platform on the roof of the City Tower Leipzig. A very nice view in all directions. Unfortunately, the website doesn't really tell you how to get to the tower or how much it costs. Exchange machines are available. I can't comment on the food and drink as we didn't eat anything, not to mention the high prices.

There were more drinks on the menu that we had to order first. Coffee had to be reordered again and again for each cup. To our surprise, some drinks (e.g. cocoa or malt coffee) had to be paid extra, which we find unacceptable given the price of brunch. Black tea was served with tea bags already hanging in the water. The food was OK and solid, but had no wow factor. The soups were not very appealing. The baked goods and cold plates were particularly good. The service was fine. Great location!!! I've had a family connection with Leipzig for over 40 years now, but I haven't made it to the university yet. Brunch was delicious in terms of food, it was refilled quickly so recommended. There were deductions for the service, the lady who was responsible for us apparently didn't have her best day, we know that completely differently. More friendly expressions in facial expressions and gestures can have a big impact, but I don't value that too highly. View of the course shape is very impressive despite the Sahara sand. Conclusion: Brunch and location are definitely recommended...

Früher hatten wir hier nette Stunden verbracht.Jetzt waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Weißbrot mit drei verschiedenen Brotaufstrichen als "Gruss aus der Küche" ist etwas einfallslos,Vor-und Nachspeise boten keine Geschmackserlebnisse,die Riesengarnelen bei den Spaghettinis waren innen noch kühl und glasig,hatten keine Röstspuren und kein Aroma.Schade um die 43€. Einen Fensterplatz hatten wir leider nicht bekommen,das teilweise Laute Publi- kaum und herumlaufende Kinder trugen auch nicht zu einem stimmungsvollen Abend bei.

The mix of familiar ingredients and more exotic ones makes perfect sense on the plates and tastes really good together. In my opinion, the quality of the food and service also justifies the price, which is already in the upper segment.

Went there again today for lunch after a long time. There is a business lunch (3 courses) at a good price. However, the portions are very manageable. But okay for the price. But we also ordered a la carte and honestly, pasta for just under 32 euros, 1 bottle of wine (0.2 l) for 13 euros, sorry that's a bit excessive. The food tasted good, as did the wine. A big thank you to the kitchen team for the food. The service was also good. At these prices I would have expected to be able to go to the viewing platform without having to pay another 5 euros.

We were here for a candlelight dinner. The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty and, above all, the 5 courses were filling. The service was very friendly and nice and briefly explained each course. All in all very good. There is a big minus point for the toilets. Very unkempt, dark and outdated. Urgent need for renovation. With such an upscale restaurant, a well-maintained toilet is also essential. Isn't there a saying: The toilet is the flagship of the restaurant?

If you have taken the elevator up, after the "pay" turnstile there is a short climb up the stairs to the roof terrace. From here you can see Leipzig from above, which is particularly beautiful at night. A snack bar, benches and tables invite you to linger in the summer.

Price/performance is very bad. The food is so bad that I can't even call it ordinary, I gave it 1 star just to publish it, otherwise even this is too much. It's even tastier than an ordinary Fast Food restaurant. I would like to say that I accidentally chose the worst dish on the menu, but 4 of us went, we ordered 4 different dishes, all of them were terrible. In comparison, we paid 194 Euros for 4 main courses, 3 soft drinks and 1 beer. Considering the location, it is well below expectations. You expect the place you sell as a panorama to be spacious everywhere, with windows that provide a good view of the outside, the tables are close to each other, you cannot sit without disturbing the people at the next table. The only good thing was the young people serving were polite and friendly. In short, I won't go again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

First of all: The food is excellent, but it also has its price. I ordered a table 3 weeks in advance and mentioned a marriage anniversary. First the confirmation of the reservation came, but with the wrong date. So I replied back and corrected it. Now we arrived (03/23/24) and were given a perfectly normal table. So my wish that I wanted to celebrate an anniversary there was not taken into account. This is where management needs to train their employees and then react when such information pops up. The waiter, very arrogant and arrogant, hardly paid any attention to us. Empty plates sat on our table long after dinner. Other service staff saw this, but didn't clear the plates either. When he finally came, we wanted to look at the menu again to order dessert. He must have forgotten that. He cleared other tables and re-prepared abandoned tables. Finally we ordered a card again from someone else. He came at some point and we were able to order our dessert. When paying, I asked why the small plates with small knives were on the table. Answer: They shouldn't have been there at all. They are for dips with bread before meals, but only after 5 p.m. Oh God, we thought. But an exception could have been made, after all, the food and drink isn't exactly cheap. In any case, the bill came in a small folder. And I would be ashamed of this folder! An ancient, worn-out piece of faux leather with AMEX advertising on it. That's not fair at all to this restaurant, the prices and this ambience! Finally, let's move on to the toilets. So you can hardly believe it and can only assume that there is no one responsible for this. In the women's restroom, the automatic towel rack rewinder was broken and the towel reached the floor. The toilets were overall unclean. This is probably because guests who went upstairs and didn't get a table immediately use the toilets, or at least that's what we noticed. All in all: The service is a disaster and should be adapted to the ambience. If someone doesn't want to work there, then they should stay at home! In any case, we also give good tips when the service is good. In this case, we probably didn't give a cent after a very long time. Conclusion: It was really tasty, the wine was good, the view was excellent, the atmosphere was good - the service was very bad! We were hoping for something much better for our special day and had corresponding expectations, which unfortunately were not entirely fulfilled. AND: The toilets don't match the restaurant, more care and a better ambience need to be created here!!!

I would not recommend to spend your money here. You will end up with a bad experience and hungry. We had a reservation for 19 people. And this is how it went: The service, food preparation, and overall coordination fell far short of our expectations. Here are the specific issues we encountered: • Service and Politeness: The waitstaff were not polite and lacked professionalism. Their attitude was unwelcoming, which significantly impacted our lunch experience. •Food Preparation and Timing: We had made a reservation for 12:00 PM and explicitly requested that our food be ready at that time. Despite sending our menu choices in advance, as agreed upon at 10:00 AM, the food was not prepared. To our surprise, we were asked for our main course selection again, even though we had already communicated our preferences via mail this morning. By 12:40 PM, there was still no food on our table. •Quality of Food: The disappointment continued when the soup arrived. Not only did the staff fail to inquire about our preference for the tomato soup with/without the chorizo cream. Plus the portions were really small •Rushed Service and Attitude: We hadn’t even finished our main dishes when dessert plates were placed in front of us. The overall attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. NOT Recommended !

Tatsächlich wurden wir recht lustlos von einem Kellner empfangen. Die Bedienung wechselte (zum Glück) ständig. Der Cappuccino war lauwarm und erinnerte eher an Milch mit Kaffeegeschmack. Nicht zu empfehlen, das Dessert dazu kam 15 min später. Die Vorspeise war lauwarm und nicht wirklich lecker. Das Haar auf dem Teller die Krönung. Die Preise toppen den Aufenthalt, unverschämt. Das Mobiliar gehört ausgetauscht. Da gibt es in Leipzig empfehlenswertere Location mit einem besseren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Hello everyone, All in all, it was a feast for the taste buds. As part of our anniversary we booked a 5 course menu, which was a complete success. We booked a wine pairing for each course, and the exquisite wines went perfectly with each course. The food itself was more than delicious and nothing ordinary. The combinations offered unleashed a taste experience that we will remember fondly. The fabulous view and sunset completed the experience.

Excellent food and great service paired with a beautiful view far beyond the outskirts of the city - what more could you want? Sure, the prices are a little higher, it can easily cost over €100 for two people, but it's not your everyday restaurant. I can't understand the criticism of the sanitary facilities. Neither during our recent visit nor in recent years have I detected any notable odors or contamination. Sure, it's no longer new, but it's clean and in good condition. My only criticism is that when it gets busier, the service unfortunately decreases... Dogs and children are both very welcome here.

Taste ok. Finally, there were no towels in the ladies' room. When asked, it was fixed and explained that people from the street simply drive up to use the toilet. Creative cuisine that we really enjoyed. The service was very attentive and was able to give us good recommendations on wine selection. The ambience is breathtaking. A pleasure that you can't afford every day because of the higher prices, but that you should treat yourself to every now and then.

We were there for lunch on Sunday, 4 adults and a 7 year old child. We were lucky and had a friendly waiter who converted the newly vacant four-person table into a five-person table. The cards were handed out and I had trouble finding the clear page with the soft drinks in the very extensive menu, which mainly consisted of drinks. The drink order was quickly placed, time to choose one of the very good sounding dishes. I personally chose a beef fillet (without weight, origin or information about which breed), another person for the sous vide cooked duck, two people for the pasta roll and one person for the ox cheeks. The waiter picked up the dishes, asked me how cooked the beef fillet was (medium-rare) and after about 20 minutes we got our food. A waitress who handed me my food tried to wipe the remaining sauce from the edge of the plate before putting it down. Overall, all the dishes were visually beautifully presented. Unfortunately, this is where everything positive ended for me. The beef fillet was well done, visually it was probably still 160g and was rather gray and poorly seared. The gratin had a sour touch, and the sauce was far from good. The vegetables were OK. Anyway, for a 50€ dish I was really disappointed. The Barberie duck breast was also well done, bad after fried, not a highlight in terms of taste. The pasta roll and the ox cheeks, on the other hand, tasted good. I gave the waiter a hint about the beef fillet and he wanted to improve it, but waiting another 20 minutes with a child wasn't an option for me. The question remained unanswered as to how this could have happened, but as an “apology” I received the espresso I ordered on the house. The restaurant itself wasn't cozy either, it reminded me more of a hall. The view, however, is great. Conclusion: Not necessarily recommended, there are other culinary highlights in Leipzig.

The view is really good when the weather is nice. Access only with EURO coins (!!!), which you have to exchange for notes on site (!!!) antediluvian. Every parking machine is more modern and they even allow card payments 😳😳 Thank God, D Marks are no longer required. 🤪🤪

For special occasions and when visiting Leipzig there is always a nice item in the daily program. Not only is the view very good, the food is also wonderful and the price is affordable for lunch during the week. And the good thing about the menu is that you can choose whether the main course should be meat, fish or vegetarian.

If you are in Leipzig, you shouldn't miss this.

We only had a cocktail there, prices were a little higher, but it was justified, the view was priceless, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. A visit is highly recommended.

Our verdict is rather sobering. For this price segment, the interior is very uncomfortable and its best days are already behind it. The service team is not well-coordinated. We were hardly noticed and you had the feeling that a waiter stopped by us by chance. The food is good, but not outstanding either. Sanitary area is very old. The only great thing was the view and that's where this restaurant scores. Otherwise there is no relationship between price and performance. A pity!

If it was just about the view and the service then I would definitely give it 5 stars. But the surroundings were anything but to be expected for this price range. The food was tasty but definitely not worth the price. You sit close together, tightly packed, and the chairs behind you can hardly move. However, I could have turned a blind eye to that. What was absolutely unacceptable were the sanitary facilities. The sinks were so dirty, like they hadn't been cleaned in years. The entire toilet facility doesn't fit into this ambience. I really felt like I was in the wrong movie. Absolutely according to the motto it doesn't matter to anyone if you only come once and then never again. Very unfortunate and disappointing.
