The home port has just reopened/reopened. The website says "authentic Afghan cuisine" - that piqued our interest. The menu on site, however, was a mix of Persian/Indian and German/Italian cuisine. The food was also very tasty, but not what we came for. Hence, only 3 stars instead of 4 for the food. The service was unfortunately terrible. There were a lot of staff who wandered around clueless, disoriented, and without any structure. Unfortunately, some of them were also incredibly snotty and unfriendly. Eye rolling, annoyed sighs, etc. - that's simply unacceptable. We waited over an hour for our food. Many guests felt the same way. Some even left at some point - and the staff didn't even notice. The restrooms were also dirty, there was no toilet paper, and the trash can was overflowing. When I pointed this out, they reacted with annoyance and asked me to stop talking. They'll take care of it. It's a shame - the place has incredible potential. However, if the issues mentioned do not change quickly, I see a bleak future.

The food was quite disappointing. Inauthentic (adjusted to German tastes and standards), and with hardly any meat in the portions (e.g., 4 small pieces of lamb). Not recommended. Unfortunately, authentic food is very rare in Leipzig.

We were only there for a small concert, which wasn't held in the catering area. So, unfortunately, I can't comment on the food. Otherwise, it looked totally chill and cozy.

Everything was very good and tasty, but the best thing was the service.

The place and the service were nice, but I once got Spicy Ramen here for lunch and some of it was still cold/frozen, even though I was the only one in the place. So if you're already using frozen goods, then please use them correctly... The taste is very disappointing for the price. Not paying by card is just ridiculous these days.

Honestly, it is a very respectable restaurant, the food is good, and the service is very excellent and fast. I only eat from it 💯

Fair prices, friendly staff and food is freshly prepared, which is great to eat on site or take away. Lots of seating and good selection of food and drink

The food was barely edible. The Fanta was delivered without sugar, which wasn't what I ordered. It was really harsh for a €5 delivery charge. The delivery person was super nice, but the food was unfortunately completely wrong. A shame.

I can't say anything against this restaurant, everything is great, always warm and fresh, I can recommend the duck with mango sauce to everyone. The service is super friendly and always accepts requests. The ambience is very nice and shows a small part of the history of Lindenthal.
