We were only there for a small concert, which wasn't held in the catering area. So, unfortunately, I can't comment on the food. Otherwise, it looked totally chill and cozy.

Delicious food, but the portions have now become significantly smaller. I would consider myself a normal to good eater, but I don't get full from the €20 schnitzel.

Unfortunately, my visit with a prior reservation was almost a total failure. The restaurant includes a dance hall where a special concert took place, which I attended. So I reserved a table 1.5 hours in advance so that I could eat something beforehand. I traveled from Berlin especially for this. On my reserved table there was an A4 sized board with my name on it. I received the beer I ordered from the friendly waitress and immediately told her what I wanted, which was wild boar leg. All the people who were seated later had already received their food, while I was starving. I ordered another beer, which was brought to me quickly. Nothing more happened. After 50 minutes I had finished my second beer and asked to pay. When paying, I noticed that I had ordered food 50 minutes earlier and had made a special reservation. The waitress asked me why I hadn't asked again. When I order, I assume that it will be taken seriously. Only I expressed any regrets about it. Apparently this is not necessary at Naumanns! It's a shame, that had a massive impact on my entire evening.

Naumann's is very cozy and has a good menu. In summer you can also sit outside under the circus tent. The staff is very friendly.

I like the people...love the ambience and also like the food...which could do with a bit more middle-class prices, but I give it to the great people there🙃

Christmas market at the Felsenkeller

Unfortunately, the toilet is only in the basement of the house. Easy to reach by public transport and car. The whole thing is very cozy... Small but nice.

We went to Naumanns for the first time at Christmas and were looking forward to a traditional Christmas dinner. I don't know the last time I experienced such a gastronomic disappointment. The roast duck was rock hard, the dumplings were too salty. The roast venison was incredibly dry, the spaetzle was burnt and fatty. Otherwise, such a culinary failure wouldn't be worth the effort of writing a review. You just don't go there anymore. But I'll make the effort for Christmas because we were really looking forward to it. All I can say is: what a disappointment.

The visit was a disaster! The food was good but the service was a disaster! The service is very unfriendly and you were portrayed as a liar! The reason: we had ordered another beer and my colleague accidentally tipped the beer over and hit her... She didn't make her presence known and you were also called a liar! Her statement was that she didn't give a damn about our opinion and still had to pay for the beer! I advise against a visit if you're a total impudent! Staff has a chronic lack of enthusiasm!

I went for brunch on Sunday. It was delicious, there was a welcome Prosecco... from 12 o'clock there was the warm section where I also enjoyed everything. I also found the price-performance ratio to be okay, and I can say that from my conclusion...I'd be happy to do it again!

The quality of the food was disproportionate to the price. Matjes with bread, a huge mountain of spicy radish and a few carelessly draped lettuce leaves for 13 euros. Good ambience, real pub atmosphere with very good service.

We had dinner here on a Friday evening around 5 p.m. There was nothing else going on and we were served immediately. The food was prepared super quickly. It was really tasty but the portion size was a bit small for the price. Otherwise everything was great. Gladly again!!! We can't say much about the parking spaces. There is a Rewe around the corner but whether you are allowed to park there as a restaurant guest is uncertain.

Great location for every occasion. Large outdoor area and great ambience inside. We went to a concert there. It was really fun.

First of all, I would like to thank you for moving the large table from outside to inside yesterday. It was raining outside. Later we became more and more disappointed. The food was acceptable as always, but nothing earth-shattering and definitely too expensive for the portions. Drinking OK. The service is unfriendly than ever. One stupid comment after another. First: “18 people and only three food.” It should be emphasized here that I had already mentioned when making the reservation that most of the people would only be drinking. Then later: “If no one responds next time, I’ll take the beer back.” In addition, we were only served upon request several times and someone came and asked maybe every hour. We sometimes waited 30 minutes or longer for the drinks. A bottomless impudence. I will never set foot in this restaurant again. Let alone recommend it to others. Rather advise others not to do so.

Quite ok with a few drawbacks. Unfortunately, the room with the stage is cut like an L and if there is too much of an audience, you can be unlucky and not see anything at the back. It also gets very warm and stuffy. Unfortunately it wasn't ventilated. The toilets are in the basement, which is quite annoying because you have to walk over two floors to then sit on a cold toilet without toilet paper (it wasn't heated enough and the windows were open the whole time). Unfortunately there was no secure cloakroom. The location itself is quite nice (“old building charm”). A tram stop is conveniently right in front of the door. The service staff was very nice and the prices are normal (beer 4+€, cocktail 7+€). = Perfect for small events.

I really like the restaurant and the beer garden. We stopped by after the football game, but the beer garden is also one of my first opportunities to meet up with friends in the summer. If you're lucky, you'll even get live music. One part of the beer garden is a self-service area and in the other part you are served good food at fair prices. Today I decided to have a snack with cheese and a salad with mozzarella. My friends took advantage of the offers on the daily menu (chanterelles), the kids fries and the beef goulash was also chosen. The food was consistently delicious and the cheese selection was great. We felt we were well looked after by the service staff. All around a great beer garden with the choice of simple barbecue food or restaurant food. By the way, there's probably also a brunch, which I'll try.

The pub and beer garden are nice, but dirty (toilets!!). Beer glass smelled like dirty dishwater. Some of the food was subpar - warmed up convenience: burnt spaetzle, lukewarm watery vegetables mixed with scraps from cleaning (did it come from the frozen bag?). Ridiculously small portions for hefty prices Been there three times on different days, it was always like that. That doesn't take away from the consistently friendly service

As a large group, we were given a slimmed-down menu, which is fine and understandable, but the portions were very manageable. It seemed more like the food had been calculated based on the number of people. The quality was also just average.

Super cozy outdoor seating with very accommodating staff who made a larger reservation possible and everyone was very happy with the evening. Thank you

There is nothing wrong with Naumann's restaurant. The food was very tasty, didn't take long and was reasonably priced. The ambience is also very pleasant. My only recommendation would be to install air conditioning as it can get really hot in the summer.

In a splendid garden we enjoy a perfect dinner served by an exceptional waiter to say the least. Prepared, scrupulous, kind and friendly. I ate a very good plate of spicy curry frankfurters with a plate full of vegetables and chips. Great price ! To return!

Despite my rating, the restaurant's service is very good. It is clear that the WGT is very crowded and you have to work with a smaller menu. That's okay. The price level in Leipzig is rather cheap and cannot be compared with NRW or Bavaria The seasoned meat was good and plentiful. The baked chicken with couscous salad is limited. It was a roasted poultry leg and breaded. Couldn't define it as warm and the salad bouquet was just naked without anything. I would have liked a few drops of dressing. There was also no menage on the table. You ate there and that was it. But the service is top

I liked the food very much, the waitresses were very nice and had everything under control despite our larger group. The location itself is also very appealing and invites you to linger. Intuitively I think 1-2€ less in price would be more appropriate, but I understand the business challenges of today.

Were here for the third time in the last 1.5 years. Due to the now shrunk and somewhat special food selection, it will be the last time. Too bad. Also loud with a brass band in front of the door, which makes comfortable conversation at the table for four difficult.

Wow. Such a great, pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. Food was excellent, fresh and tasty. Short waiting time and extremely friendly staff. The prices are also moderate. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

The review refers to the restaurant. Not the Felsenkeller as an event location. Eat well, also vegetarian (e.g. cauliflower wings) or special/different (veal kidneys). Service super nice and guest-oriented!! (This is unusual in Plagwitz, where the guest is usually a supplicant 😉)

At the end of the family trip to Leipzig, we enjoyed the sun in the beer garden again with a very good lunch and very attentive service.

Loud and too many tables (they were specially converted for this) - the focus is on concert goers, no good wines and a limited selection, only bad beers and the quality of the food has drastically decreased. It used to be okay, but it's not even average anymore. Dimensions instead of class.

We had ordered the reading room for a small family celebration on February 17th, 2024. We were served quickly and very friendly. Again and again someone looked after us and asked if we had any further wishes. The food came after a reasonable wait and everyone thought it was delicious. Thank you again to everyone and... gladly again!

Cozy restaurant with typical German dishes and a great vegetarian/vegan selection!

We spontaneously went out for dinner on Boxing Day evening and were served very attentively and with a lot of heart. A robber's plate was no problem, everything came to the table quickly and really well prepared. The Leipziger Räbchen was really excellent!

The spicy meat is great, the schnitzel is quite dry. Nice staff, good music.

Das Essen war etwas salzig, sonst aber gut. Für Kinder gibt es keine Kinderkarte. Das Ambiente ist schön, aber es ist sehr laut. Und der Service war top! Der junge Herr hat uns einwandfrei bedient und wir mussten nie lang warten.

Zu den Speisen kann ich nichts sagen, war nur zum Veranstaltungsausklang noch Bier trinken, aber das ist super und Gaststätte sehr einladend.

Party geht angeblich bis 5. Es ist 3:20 und ich hätte gerne noch eine Stunde getanzt und was getrunken und darf nicht mehr rein... Sonst ist es hier schön aber bitte nicht Variante Darkflower, wenn man vom Konzert kommt. Ich zahle ja brav auch nur für ne Stunde...

Schönes uriges Restaurant. Lecker Bier gibt es auch. Portionen sind riesig. Kinder und Senioren können aber eine kleinere Portion nehmen und zahlen nur 60% vom Preis.

Der Habicht stört das Ambiente. Ansonsten alles top. Barkeeper sind sehr seriös!

Wir werden das Neumanns nicht nochmal besuchen. Für den Preis waren die Beilagen zu wenig, die Pilze waren auf keinen fall frisch (wie eingelegt), der Brie war einfach abgeschnitten und auf das Schnitzel gelegt und die Pommes waren gut aber auch zu wenig. Der Service war sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend und konnte mit der Kritik auch super umgehen. Ich hoffe das ihr in der Küche ein wenig verändert.

Besökte Naumanns för en konsert så vi åt innan föreställningen. Kassler med surkål ska vara deras paradrätt Enkelt och mycket gott Prisvärt!

Was ist traditionelle Arbeiterküche? Das wir hier überaus kreativ, zu gehobenen, jedoch angemessenen Preisen, beantwortet. Essen und Getränke waren einfach nur ein Genuss, dazu sehr freundliches, aufmerksames sowie gut organisiertes Personal, in gemütlicher Biergartenatmosphäre. Sehr viele vegetarische und auch vegane Möglichkeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert!

reservierung empfehlenswert. service freundlich und zügig. buntes publikum, sehr angenehm. abwechslungsreiche getränkekarte, mehr als das übliche einerlei. essen war gut. karte übersichtlich, mit blick auf die fleischhaltigen hauptgerichte für uns zu schnitzellastig. leider gab es zum essen (schnitzel mit bratkartoffeln und spielgelei) keine salatbeilage. preise angemessen -moderat.

Das Essen ist so was von köstlich, weiter so. Lange nicht mehr so freundlich bedient worden, sehr aufmerksam, humorvoll. Das Angebot auf der Karte ist sehr gut durchdacht und für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Als Alt Leipziger auch Gerichte meiner Kindheit entdeckt. Vielen Dank 🙏🫶🌞😎😌

Eine urige Lokalität in Leipzig. Die Mitarbeiter machen ihren Job mit sehr viel Liebe und Herzblut. Man kommt trotz vieler Gäste gleich ins Gespräch und wir promt bedient. Ich muss hier unbedingt noch mal wiederkommen habe mich gleich wohlgefühlt man spürt das einfach.
