Very nice location. If you ever meet at an event...

We were there on December 28th. To NORTHERN LITE in the Felsenkeller... the concert in and of itself was gigantic 10* to the band. But what didn't work at all was the organization of the service team, endless queues for drinks. The cloakroom was simply closed. It was simply underground.

We were there for a concert on December 28th, 2024. The organization was terrible. Too many tickets were sold. We queued for 3/4 hours to get a drink. No security precautions. If panic had broken out there, it's hard to imagine what would have happened. The only good thing about the evening was the band.

Very tasty and nice service. Everything is great.

After we arrived at the hotel, we wanted to go out for something to eat and so we just set off on foot. There is always something to eat somehow. Be it pizza, kebab or, or or... But somehow we wanted something special. So we finally ended up in the rock cellar. Ambiance very good... friendly reception... The service is super cool and always has a smile on her face.. I have to agree with my predecessors, that was my 4th concert this year with Northern lite but the location in Leipzig was really bad, people, what's wrong with you, it's not the first time you've done this... no organization and that Assistants behind the counter 🤦🏽‍♂️ Sorry

Went to the Northern Lite concert in the Felsenkeller yesterday. The concert was great. As with other concerts before it, it was a disaster regarding the bar. Queuing for drinks for well over half an hour, bar staff were friendly but totally overwhelmed. Maybe change something in the concept. A station that only accepts deposit cups at the end would also be something.

What looks beautiful from the outside unfortunately loses more and more charm over the years. Probably for cost reasons or planning reasons, there feel like there are more security staff than bar staff. For a concert that is not sold out, there are not enough cloakroom hooks available (even though there was already a second cloakroom). The shop is completely overcrowded, the bar is completely overwhelmed, you have to queue for at least 20 minutes for a drink, there is no way to quickly return your cup deposit. Unfortunately, this kind of thing spoils the concert/event experience.

Waiting in line for half an hour to either get a drink or standing in the cloakroom for half an hour and still not being able to hand in the jackets. Full, they said. I was standing in line somewhere for a quarter of the concert. Not least to return the deposit stamps. A concert is no fun at all.

Unfortunately, last night at the Northern Lite concert was a total fiasco when it came to the cloakroom and bar situation - the cloakroom was quickly full (there was no information about that either), you stood in line for 45 pointless minutes and then spent the evening frustrated with your jacket in your hand ) Alternative concept? None, no suggestions for solutions from those responsible. Anyone who thinks that they could ease their frustration a little at the bar is completely wrong - queuing for another hour for a drink didn't necessarily improve the mood. In addition, you had the feeling that there were far too many people in the location - if you imagined you could see a band at a live concert: also crazy. It may be that everything is becoming more expensive and that organizers also have to look where they stay, but holding concerts under these conditions is absolutely unacceptable - change your concept, otherwise you won't have to organize anything anymore soon. I'd rather stay on the couch with a record and save myself the money for the ticket and all the frustration!

Unfortunately a really bad concert location. The bars are completely understaffed. Half of yesterday's concert with waiting for one. Drink spent. In the end, the cloakroom department was completely overwhelmed, but security had to force everyone waiting in a relaxed manner to clear the hall. All in all, none. Worth visiting again. My recommendation: look at your bands somewhere else. The location and organization of it spoil the visit.

Absolute catastrophe, somehow no event works here without problems!!

12/28/24, Northern Lite concert, Felsenkeller. Of the entire organization, this was by far the worst concert I have experienced in 15 years. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. You stand for 1 hour to be able to leave your jacket in the cloakroom, lights out. Cloakroom full...100s of guests with jackets in hand for the concert evening. The qualified advice from the employees was: "I don't know where your cars are, but it's best to bring your jackets there." ...in the middle of winter...at temperatures below zero... Then the next highlight. 2 drinks stands for the completely overcrowded Felsenkeller...after queuing for about 30 minutes, you fought your way to the counter...only to be able to read on a sign on or behind the counter: "Card payment only possible."... I've never experienced that at a concert or festival before... just as much frustration, complaints, bad moods and calls for the organizer from the guests... including me and rightly so. This is a disgrace, cramming people into a crowded hall without drinks and with their hands full (because the cloakroom is full). There is also a toilet at the left and right end of the hall for each gender...so if you stand in the wrong place, you'll have to push yourself across the entire rock cellar to get to the toilet...or just get there in your pants. Conclusion: Stay away from the rock cellar with this organizer! Worst location for events! The way the guests are treated there really borders on bodily harm. Even the band on stage could see this. (Who did their best to somehow save the ruined evening).

Went to Northern Lite's sold out concert today. The concert itself was awesome - thank you. Sound got better over time. The location itself seemed completely overwhelmed by the crowds. Cloakrooms full, probably 2/3 of the people left. But before that we had already been queuing for 1/2 hour. Bar completely overcrowded, you missed half of the concert if you wanted to get 2 drinks. Beautiful concert, unfortunately the organization was a complete disaster.

Cute little location where you can see the stage clearly from everywhere. A little goodie for Advent: The small Christmas market right next door.

Been there a few times for concerts, most recently on December 21st, 2024 for the I LUV MONEY concert by King Orgasm One. In itself a great and cool place to celebrate. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces, you have to try your luck to get one in the area. Therefore just ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☝🏻

We went to see Olaf Schubert's Christmas story. Somewhat cramped seating but great event, nice staff and good beer at the bar (unfortunately only bottled beer - you don't have to have Becks on tap)

The Christmas market in Leipzig is like good, a good idea is the small ice rink at the Neuer Radhaus. The gondolas are also great to relax in. The hand-made bread here from the Swiss is a thousand times better than the stand at the old town hall.

Great location, fast service at the counter. We went to the nativity play and are satisfied as always. Get there in good time, as you have to look around a bit for parking on the side streets.

Christmas market stalls at Felsenkeller visited: staff and prices okay, toilets in the basement were okay, but a lot of people and RB game with "Christmas singing" (a record number of stadium visitors of over 40,000 people is planned, as a Dortmund fan you laugh at something like that. ..) and then the Syrian ecstasy together with unfriendly guests: that can't go well and it didn't... it's a shame, there was actually more to it 😉

During well-attended concerts, there are large queues at the bars. The pillars in the room often obstruct the view of the outer seats. The stairs to the square in front of the stage could be better lit. Nevertheless, you are happy to be a guest in this time-honored building.

A really lovely Christmas market with a classic medieval feel. Despite the rain, the visit was pleasant because the cozy atmosphere and the atmospheric design quickly made us forget the weather. The mulled wine was exceptionally tasty, just the thing to warm you up. Overall, there was a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere that fits perfectly into the Christmas season. Absolutely recommended!

Cool place for concerts, we were here for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the size and the good view of the stage, good sound, nice bar and security.

I have visited this restaurant several times now and I find it nice for every event, friendly staff and simply beautifully done, unfortunately the parking situation is a disaster.

Not so suitable for concerts, too few bars and too few staff waiting for drinks for over an hour, there are also not enough toilets. You stand in line more, which is quite annoying if you spend more of the evening waiting.

Were there to see Alfred Heinrich.. a really nice location to celebrate. The event itself was very crowded and the catering didn't work. You had to queue for up to an hour for drinks. It was still a nice evening.

We went to a DJ event in the Felsenkeller. We felt comfortable, great atmosphere, cool mood! Always my pleasure!

Alfred Heinrichs' event was great...unfortunately we couldn't hand in any more jackets at midnight.

Were at Alfred Heinrichs on Saturday. Alfred was top 5 stars but the organization regarding the cloakroom and bar was not working at all. The cloakroom was full at times and the bar meant that you had to wait 45 minutes and more for drinks. If you know how many people are expected you have to organize it differently, for that 0 points!!!

I think it's good that events for every taste take place there regularly and the prices for the drinks remain affordable!

I've never stood/waited so long at a bar to get a drink in my entire life. Will I get the lost time back from the bartenders? 😀 Maybe change the concept at the next event. Correct: Not “maybe,” but definitely. Tip to everyone else: Pre-heat properly so you don't have to go to the bar there.

Nice location, sound at concerts echoes a bit but it's ok! You should avoid traveling by car, there is hardly any parking space.

A great event location. I've been to several concerts here. From every point in the hall you have a good view of the stage. Depending on the size of the event, there are two additional bars inside. The staff is super nice. I like coming here. There are many great restaurants and bars in the surrounding area for that last nightcap.

I've already been to a few concerts there. For me the ballroom is a very nice location. Top location, thanks to a direct tram stop. The staff in all areas have been very friendly and competent so far. Acoustics are very good for quiet music and good for metal etc. The selection of drinks is good and reasonably priced. Bottle Neck is the entrance and exit. There is a lot of congestion and it should be optimized if necessary. But overall a great place for live music.

I was in the hall for the Yaris concert. Security and other staff were all very nice. The guest room downstairs looks cozy. I'll be going there soon

One star because it takes 2 hours to get in and 45 minutes to get into the cloakroom. Missed the first act at Tekknoween because they couldn't manage to get more staff. Despite pre-sales, this long waiting time is not possible. Let's not go there again.

The location is okay, but the parking options are poor... You're already totally annoyed before the event. There is also no P+R information for external parties.

I actually like the location. Not too big, you can see everything well, plenty of drink stands. But at the Interpol concert the sound was so incredibly bad. It echoed, at times you could barely hear the singing. Absolutely disappointing.

Beautiful hall whose historical charm has been preserved. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the sound at the Interpol concert wasn't that great. The construction fence behind the technician is a bit annoying. Maybe there's a better idea. Parking situation is difficult. Better to park somewhere else and use public transport. The tram stop is right in front of it.

The ambience and location are actually really nice, but the acoustics are not good at all. Humming, mushy sound that almost completely swallows the singer's voice. Spoils the whole show. Too bad.

Well-organized event with the band “Laibach” in an atmosphere appropriate to the concert. The service is essentially limited to serving drinks. The toilets were clean, the furnishings of the room were contemporary, but there would still be some equipment and decoration needed for a regular dance ball operation.

Very pleasant location. Thanks to the slightly higher platforms on the sides, not everyone is crowding in front of the stage. There are plenty of opportunities to purchase drinks. The sanitary facilities are in good condition and were cleaned during the event. Overall, a top address.

We really enjoyed going to the And One concert there.

Not recommended for public viewing. Three regular TVs for a large outdoor area. People all spread out in their chairs because otherwise they wouldn't have seen anything. We sat at a table where we couldn't see any of the three screens well and asked if we could move to another table. There were seven of us, the free table was for 5, but we would have moved together. We were left standing for 10 minutes, then when we asked again we were told that if the table didn't meet the reservation, we could change. The people didn't come, but the lady didn't want to hear anything about the promise and became unfriendly. As we were paying, a poisonous comment came loudly in our direction. The second star goes to the waitresses, who were very quick, despite the crowd.

Nice beer garden with a small but nice menu. The daily and weekly menu shows that you are thinking about it. They also have their own, very tasty beer. The staff are very good and friendly, always have an eye for the guests and are attentive. We like coming here. A small disadvantage: if you sit in the beer garden at the front of the street, it is relatively loud due to the proximity to the intersection. You could put a hornbeam hedge behind the fence. That absorbs the sound. Otherwise just sit back. 😉

We were here for Tramper's 10th anniversary. The rock cellar was packed, which was sometimes a bit of a hindrance, especially when going in and out. It got very warm in the hall relatively quickly, even though the doors were already open. The waitresses at the bar are great, everyone is very nice and handled the crowds very well. :)

Always busy, many young guests can be found here.

A very nice location for parties and events. The bar staff is friendly and quick. The security service at events does a very good and professional job and is always friendly and helpful!!!

The music was great, but I wanted to go to the men's bathroom but I feel like a non-binary person & was sent away because I was dressed as she, that's not okay..

I think the Felsenkeller has its tradition. I went to a job fair today on a rainy day. The room was really great, but also full, full, full - cramped and humid air. 😨

I didn't see a parking lot, but it is close to tram stops and therefore pedestrian accessible :)

Nice location, but very limited drinks menu. A Radler is mixed from Becks and Vita lemon and tastes different than usual. Wine and sparkling wine are only available dry. Semi-dry and sweet seems unknown there.

Was there for WGT 2024. Both concerts were good but the sound wasn't optimal. Small, friendly location. Beautiful garden terrace with music. Unfortunately a bit too loud because the concert was still going on and we had sound coming from two sides.
