Good atmosphere, good staff. Sometimes it's busy, but that speaks volumes about the store.

Nice beer garden, good food, what more could you want other than a warm day and nice weather.

Today we went to the flea market in the beer garden. Very good atmosphere, happy to repeat.

Not recommended for public viewing. Three regular TVs for a large outdoor area. People all spread out in their chairs because otherwise they wouldn't have seen anything. We sat at a table where we couldn't see any of the three screens well and asked if we could move to another table. There were seven of us, the free table was for 5, but we would have moved together. We were left standing for 10 minutes, then when we asked again we were told that if the table didn't meet the reservation, we could change. The people didn't come, but the lady didn't want to hear anything about the promise and became unfriendly. As we were paying, a poisonous comment came loudly in our direction. The second star goes to the waitresses, who were very quick, despite the crowd.

Nice beer garden with a small but nice menu. The daily and weekly menu shows that you are thinking about it. They also have their own, very tasty beer. The staff are very good and friendly, always have an eye for the guests and are attentive. We like coming here. A small disadvantage: if you sit in the beer garden at the front of the street, it is relatively loud due to the proximity to the intersection. You could put a hornbeam hedge behind the fence. That absorbs the sound. Otherwise just sit back. 😉

Concerts in the Felsenkeller are unbeatable with the right artists

We were here for Tramper's 10th anniversary. The rock cellar was packed, which was sometimes a bit of a hindrance, especially when going in and out. It got very warm in the hall relatively quickly, even though the doors were already open. The waitresses at the bar are great, everyone is very nice and handled the crowds very well. :)

Always busy, many young guests can be found here.

A very nice location for parties and events. The bar staff is friendly and quick. The security service at events does a very good and professional job and is always friendly and helpful!!!

The music was great, but I wanted to go to the men's bathroom but I feel like a non-binary person & was sent away because I was dressed as she, that's not okay..

I think the Felsenkeller has its tradition. I went to a job fair today on a rainy day. The room was really great, but also full, full, full - cramped and humid air. 😨

I didn't see a parking lot, but it is close to tram stops and therefore pedestrian accessible :)

Nice location, but very limited drinks menu. A Radler is mixed from Becks and Vita lemon and tastes different than usual. Wine and sparkling wine are only available dry. Semi-dry and sweet seems unknown there.

Was there for WGT 2024. Both concerts were good but the sound wasn't optimal. Small, friendly location. Beautiful garden terrace with music. Unfortunately a bit too loud because the concert was still going on and we had sound coming from two sides.

Great location and beautiful beer garden. Unfortunately, after visiting the beer garden you have to queue at the door to get back in... In other words, the beer garden is not part of the location...

Seen a few concerts here as part of the WGT. Very loud, better take earplugs.

Really suitable for concerts, even small people can see the front because of the gallery.

The concert was good even if the acoustics were extremely loud. But you could buy earplugs, which I thought was great. That made everything more bearable. Otherwise I can't say much about Felsenkeller 😊 but I'll definitely go there again for concerts 👍

Great concert experienced during the 31st WGT.

Characteristic place from the beginning of the last century. It was a ballroom that after years of abandonment after the renovation in 2014 was reopened for cultural events, concerts, parties...

A celebratory tribute to the 1964 heroes and chemical history. The only drawback: The video screen could have been used to memorialize the master player who died and was not present for health reasons.

The location is great, I've rarely seen such nice security! But please don't always make the music so loud between the bands. It was sometimes louder than the opening bands

I've been to concerts in the Felsenkeller several times, I like the venue... but... the drug policy that is practiced here is very aggressive. Despite legalization, I was forced to throw away my joint by the extremely unfriendly security. (Wasn't planning on smoking at the event as there is a smoking ban inside). When I asked whether cigarettes were banned, I was told in a very unfriendly manner that guests were of course allowed to take cigarettes with them to the event. And strangely enough, a lot of people smoked inside, despite the smoking ban. There was also no way to take the joint back with you after the event “you wouldn’t keep drugs”. I find this way very questionable. It may be that they are exercising their house rules and the security has received a briefing, which is perfectly fine for me, but then please make it public, I couldn't find any information about it anywhere and please do so in a more pleasant way. 🙏🏼

Great location for concerts. Again and again. Staff is friendly and helpful. Toilets are clean and tidy. Bar operations are quick and fast. Drink prices are normal. The volume at the concert was enormous. Be sure to take hearing protection with you. We had problems with our ears for days afterwards because we didn't think about it. .

Service and premises very good and pleasant. Acoustics difficult for concerts but a very nice old building.

It's getting worse and worse. There are far too many tickets on offer. Therefore, far too many people, far too narrow, far too warm and then two bars down in the middle on the left and right? So that people have even less space, really cool idea.

It was my first time in Felsenkeller and I was very positively surprised 😲 by the ambience. Brilliant. I got to know and appreciate very nice employees. The concert was of course also an experience. Acoustics were also very good I can only recommend the Felsenkeller in Leipzig. It is worth it . LG 😂

Rating for the glitter party on March 8, 2024 (Women's Day): Entry and security were quick and very friendly. Drink bar nice and fast. The dance hall was large and clean, there were bar tables on the sides for conversation and there was also space for a couch. At the front of the podium was the DJ. Music boxes were set way too loud. The DJ was bad, couldn't initiate nice transitions, it was very bumpy. There were also boring songs. The stripper that night was okay. The toilets were dirty right from the start. All in all, it was rather sobering. So there is still a lot of potential there.

Unfriendly and aloof security!!!

Went to the Women's Day party. The music was great and security and entry were very friendly. Otherwise, well... The welcome drinks were all over (but there weren't many cups there), the strip show was more for the lady on stage, but rather boring for everyone else and at 3 there were already bouncers playing until the music was actually turned off became. As I said, the music was great up until then and it was nice to be alone with a lot of other women. Prices are okay.

Souly concert March 7th Not enough wardrobe space for everyone! You weren't allowed to bring backpacks in. After I packed all of my things from my backpack into my winter jacket to leave the backpack outside, I was only minimally checked and waved through. Then I could have taken my backpack with me... Now we had to wait in line at the cloakroom for about 45 minutes because I wanted to hand over my jacket so I could enjoy the concert. (The concert started while we were queuing..) When we were almost there, we were told that they were no longer accepting jackets. So now I had to try to enjoy the concert with my winter jacket full of stuff in the really crowded hall. Nothing against the act. Souly and his team still pulled it off hard, but these organizational circumstances made it really difficult for me to enjoy the show. Conclusion: Never again in the Felsenkeller and definitely not a recommendation! Next time I'd rather go to another city than go to the Felsenkeller again!

The Felsenkeller is a wonderful place for events such as readings, concerts and much more. I like the ambience, the accessibility by public transport, but above all the really nice people who work there and make sure it's a wonderful evening again. No matter whether it's the people behind the bar, the security or dear Rainer, who not only takes care of the tip-top cleanliness of the bathroom, but also saved my hand when I lost it. Love it here and can only recommend it :)

Great 80s party experience. Location but toilets but disgustingly dirty and yucky. And it drafted terribly, not tingling on a cold day.

Mediocre. Events in the lower hall are really good. The room upstairs is actually too small. When it's sold out, it's extremely cozy and warm. Music was good though.

We were here for Daniel Wirtz's concert. We really liked Due Location and the concert was fantastic too.

Cool club for concerts. Everything was quickly accessible through 3 bars. Jackets and backpacks can be dropped off at a cloakroom for money

The food is super delicious and I definitely recommend it, such a great buttery soft schnitzel and the friendly service. Mega. The club/dance bar is also great, I'm always there with girls and I can say that it's always a great evening and again at any time. Great ambience and great value for money for Leipzig Clear recommendation.

Very great concert....beautiful ambience with top acoustics and the best thing is, you can see great from everywhere. The security at the entrance was also super friendly. It's also not common for the toilets to be clean...all in all, a great event!!!

Very nice location, worth a visit in summer and winter. But it's about time for a ventilation concept or solutions for the sweaty events in the Baal Hall.

Risk of injury at rock/metal concerts due to flying glass objects such as beer glasses or bottles, it is incomprehensible why glass is given out at events of this type. I hardly know of any professional venues. Some of the toilets are in worse condition than any public one... well... Some of the security staff seem to be difficult when it comes to attitude.

Great hall - lousy bar The shop itself is cool and Secu has always been friendly, but unfortunately the bar is a complete horror: unfriendly, rude and work-shy. They obviously don't want to make any sales. If the toilets weren't so unkempt... What a shame!

I was there for an event on February 24th. Very nice location. Everything is wheelchair accessible (I sit in a wheelchair myself). The way through the side entrance is a bit adventurous, but the staff is very helpful and quick, so everything is great. The room itself was pleasantly warm. The one star deduction is because there are basically no parking spaces. It is rather difficult all around the residential area and there may be a parking ticket in the adjacent Rewe parking lot (max. 1 hour, fine up to €30). However, I didn't have anything on it that evening (Saturday 8 p.m.) and many others also parked there.

In 1989 I had my dance class prom in the Felsenkeller. Yesterday we were there again to see “Bastian Bielendorfer”. Not much has changed in the last 35 years😉. Relaxed atmosphere inside. Only the parking situation was a disaster.

It was a very nice evening with Bastian Bielendörfer. A great performance that he delivered. Please no free choice of seats in the future. As in other venues, sell tickets with row and seat numbers. This makes it easier for the guests. What I also found a bit bad was the strong smell of urine in the men's toilet. Otherwise, I think the rock cellar is good.

The stage should be painted again.

Went to Naumann's restaurant for the first time yesterday. The atmosphere is simply great, there is a lot to discover. Old advertising and and and... If I only had to rate the service staff, they would get 10 stars. However, I wasn't impressed with the food. Canned vegetables in the dishes, carelessly prepared, little freshness. My husband had the baked cheese, which was just horribly dry. The caramel cream for dessert was hard to taste as it was drowned in preserved fruit and sauce. When it comes to the price, unfortunately the result on the plate is not right. Sorry.

Doors at a punk concert should perhaps always open from the inside. Especially when you go in and out at the same time
