Incredibly delicious, incredibly accommodating, incredibly time and time again... It was very tasty and is definitely recommended

The food was fantastic. A really great experience in terms of taste and very nicely prepared. We sometimes felt forgotten by the service. Maybe because we were sitting a little apart in a corner. But everyone was very friendly. Very stylish and chic furnished.

I had an excellent experience at this Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with authentic decor that added to the charm. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the sushi, which was beautifully presented. I usually order the pike-perch steak, and it’s absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be back!

I ordered by phone for pickup. My choice fell on Shiki Two for 2 for €48. The compilation of the individual parts was in the menu on the homepage. 7 nigiris, 9 sashimi...... When I picked up my order, without any sign of embarrassment, they charged me €56! Reason "... our prices are not current on the homepage, ... homepage problems ...". Wow! After some time exchanging facts with various service representatives, I received my order for €48. THANKS! A hefty price in itself, but what wouldn't you do to have a lovely evening with Shushi for Two :-). Unfortunately, when we got home, the next negative surprise came. The composition had nothing in common with the one on the menu. 4 nigiris, 4 sashimi, .... Sorry guys, but that's not possible. Unfortunately you have lost me as a customer.

I've been eating there almost monthly for over a year now and I can't complain about a thing! Sometimes we ate on site and sometimes we had it delivered. Everything was top! It ALWAYS tastes good there and the food has always been freshly prepared, which is very important with sushi. I can 100% recommend it to everyone out there with a clear conscience 🩷

We are fans of good sushi. That's why we've been eating here ever since shiki two opened. For us it's the best Japanese in town since then. Many others have tried it. But be careful it's expensive, but the quality is great and the restaurant is also very cozy.

Asian restaurant on Leipzig's pub mile. There is a well-selected menu of Asian dishes and an extensive sushi menu. Vegan options are indicated or are also possible individually. There is a good selection of non-alcoholic mixed drinks that do not imitate alcoholic drinks, but are their own creations. The service is quick and very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

Ordered food to pick up from Shiki Two for the first time today, 30 minutes waiting time was completely ok. But unfortunately 6 pieces of sushi worth €14 were forgotten. Unfortunately I didn't check it on site, very sad

Super delicious food served in style. The overall package is right. If choosing individual sushi varieties is as stressful as it is for me, you can order a plate. From the starter to the soup, appetizer, main course and dessert, everything is included and it's just a question of your wallet. Prices are probably justified but just too expensive for me. It's possible once for special occasions (for 5 people) but I can't afford it on a regular basis. Too bad.

Service very good, portions very manageable for the money.

Half of the menu was crossed out and no longer available, including the entire ramen menu. I ordered a drink which was no longer available. Then the waitress poured a good sip of the cola over our table and then gave it to us without refilling it. Food tasted good and the decor looked good too.

An absolute stroke of luck! We had a business lunch at Shiko Two and were absolutely satisfied. The selection on the business lunch menu is extensive. The price-performance ratio is excellent. 11.50 for a very tasty Thai curry with chicken, including espresso...that's great. The homemade kimchi is also recommended. But the best thing was the excellent service from Hoang. Thank you for the attentive and friendly service. We would love to come back 👍

By far the best meal during our week in Leipzig! An excellent salmon sashimi, tuna tartare and, and, and. Plus an absolutely great service! We only regret coming here on our last evening! If we come to Leipzig again, the visit is a MUST!!! Thank you for the delicious evening!!!

Unfortunately I didn't have such a good experience here. The service was unfriendly (hm, well...everyone has a bad day), but unfortunately the quality of the food was rather mediocre and relatively expensive. I have the feeling that you are resting on the prominent location. Too bad.

I really enjoyed the Shiki in the city center. I assumed that the Shiki two was no different. Unfortunately, we have already had to realize twice that the sushi cannot keep up with the quality that we would like and are used to in our favorite shops. The main reason is that even the special rolls filled with fish save on fish. All in all, it's still tasty and a solid sushi shop in the south. Service staff is great and very nice!

I haven't had such good sushi in a long time. Delicious sushi, which isn't that expensive and very friendly staff. Location seems more upscale but totally great. Definitely coming back.

Everything here is always top notch, whether service or food. If you don't get service right away or it takes a while, it's because the store is completely full. We recommend the lunch special with a very good price-performance ratio. Absolute tip: ask for Toro!!!

Die stilvolle Einrichtung und das angenehme Licht schaffen eine einladende Atmosphäre, die perfekt für einen Abend mit Freunden oder ein besonderes Dinner geeignet ist. Der Service war tadellos. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und stets bemüht, unseren Abend so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die kulinarischen Highlights begannen schon mit der Vorspeise: Die gefüllten Teigtaschen mit Garnelen waren einfach himmlisch, und das Sushi war frisch und hervorragend zubereitet. Als Hauptspeise wurden wir mit perfekt gebratener Ente und zarter Hähnchenbrust verwöhnt. Die Kombination der Aromen war harmonisch und jede Zutat schmeckte frisch und hochwertig. Unfortunately, the sushi quality and service have deteriorated significantly. Long waiting time... If sushi sits for a long time it doesn't get any better... the service is not service-oriented. Once our favorite place, now unsustainable. Value for money is no longer served. Terrible!

Not recommended unless you have too much money left over, were really disappointed with the price-performance ratio and won't be coming back, the pizza next door will fill you up. It takes forever to get food there and the waiter always forgets something. All in all just not good.

Today I went to Shiki for the first time with friends based on a recommendation. The service was friendly and came to our table quickly to take the order. The starter 🥣 tasted good, I would have liked a little more rice for the main course, Thai curry. price and Performance is right here. We'd love to come back again. When it comes to sushi, the shiki two has surpassed the shiki one, it feels like it has a much larger selection and the menu is much more understandable. On the other hand, the map with many crossed-out entries does not make a good impression. It's a bit cool in the restaurant and there's a draft. The service was very friendly and the price was ok

The service was unfriendly. Various types of ramen were on the menu, but they were not served. The waitress said it wouldn't be worth it. Incomprehensible given the prices. Chose Tai Curry with duck. The duck was raw. My reference to this was dismissed, but it was fresh. After trying it three times, I returned the food. The curry was also bad. Just a shrug of the shoulders from the service. I will no longer visit or recommend this location. C.C.M.

Eating super tasty, whether sushi, meat or from the wok, everything was perfectly prepared. The service was quick, drinks were delicious too. Service a bit too impersonal, a lot of things are taken in as you walk past.

Very chic shop for the southern suburbs, the food is ok. but extremely expensive for the Leipzig or German average. The rice was stale and already glassy and cold, the soup was absolutely ridiculous in quantity. It may be that the ambience is good, but what is sold here as a big roll is usually a standard size and the normal sushi rolls would be just decoration elsewhere. In terms of quantities, this is all very meager. If money isn't that important to you, you're in good hands here. For the same money you can get twice as much food of the same quality elsewhere in Leipzig.

The sushi and cocktails were spectacular, but some of the starters were underwhelming. We left the restaurant satisfied but not quite full.

Ganz nett, prima Service, alles schön sauber, themengerechtes Ambiente, leider kamen unsere sechs gewählten Speisen nicht mit. Sushi haben wir nicht bestellt, dafür keinerlei Wertung möglich. Dry age Steak war nie 250 gr. schwer, durch statt medium. Thaiente essen wir in unseren Asiabistro wesentlich besser, sogar zum halben Preis! Das Gemüse suchen wir immer noch. Getränkepreise mehr als ambitioniert. 1 Liter TAFELWASSER für 8,50 €, ohne Worte. Limos und Saft für 0,3 ltr. 7,00 € und mehr. Leute, lasst die Kirche im Dorf. Wir wollen sicherlich alle verdienen, aber das ist Wucher für die Gesamtleistung. Schade, hatten uns mehr versprochen, ach ja und ein Tempuramix waren 2 Garnelen und 1 Lachsstück. Bisschen mager für 7,50 oder nicht. Ein Mix sollte schon küchentechnisch mindestens aus drei Variationen bestehen, bei zwei Variationen ist es leider nur ein "Duett". Mal sehen ob es bei einem "Vielleicht neue Chance-Besuch" besser wird. Trotzdem, alles Gute, bleibt gesund und weiter so fröhlich

Wir vergeben die volle Punktzahl, da wir mit großer Zufriedenheit das Restaurant verlassen haben. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und das Abendessen geschmacklich eine Wucht!!!

War in Ordnung. Man merkt leider, dass sehr nachgelassen wurde. Essen war lecker aber das Sushi wird immer kleiner und man wird nicht wirklich satt. Preislich sehr gestiegen wodurch man nicht wirklich das Interesse hat, nochmal dort hin zu gehen. Schade eigentlich, war immer sehr gut dort.

Schicker Laden. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen lecker. Auch wenn es nicht alles gab, was auf der Karte stand. Das war der einzige kleine Manko.

Leckeres Essen; reiche Auswahl an Sushi - auch mehr als nur die Klassiker und auch einige Gerichte für Leute die kein Fisch-Fan sind. Die Bedienung war schnell und sehr nett - es wurde etwas darüber amüsiert dass ich ein Sushi Menü für Zwei Personen alleine gegessen habe und habe noch einen Lolli bekommen :) Schönes Restaurant, angenehme Atmosphäre, wir hatten Glück am Samstag so früh dagewesen zu sein, sonst sollte man definitiv reservieren! Günstig ist es natürlich nicht, aber preislich vollkommen normal :)

Schmeckt lecker, achtet aber darauf, dass die Rollen wirklich supermega klein sind. Das erwartet man nicht beim bestellen. Dass die Rollen ein einem Mini-Format serviert werden, muss auf jeden Fall in der Speisekarte stehen.

Ich habe bisher schon oft und viel Sushi gegessen, aber hier war es bisher mit Abstand das beste Sushi was ich jemals gegessen habe. Was soll ich sagen, ich liebs. Ambiente, Service, Sauberkeit etc. waren perfekt. Ich habe bereits nochmal reserviert und freue mich schon jetzt auf mein Sushihighlight. 💖

Das SHIKI TWO liegt an der Ecke Karl-Liebknecht-Straße / Riemannstraße in Leipzig (unweit des Verlagsgebäudes der Leipziger Volkszeitung). Ursprünglich war das Restaurant ein Ableger des SHIKI in der Klostergasse. Nach Auskunft des Personals haben beide Restaurants (nach einem Inhaberwechsel im SHIKI TWO) heute aber nicht mehr viel miteinander zu tun. Ich habe das SHIKI TWO an einem Samstagmittag im Juni 2023 besucht. Es waren zu dem Zeitpunkt lediglich zwei Tische belegt, so dass ich fast freie Platzwahl hatte. Das Ambiente habe ich als angenehm empfunden und auch der Kellner war freundlich und aufmerksam. Beste Voraussetzungen für ein gutes Mittagessen! Die Vorspeise (Chicken Yakitori) war dann auch ein leckerer Einstieg. Die Sushi-Platte (Shiki Two Medium, bestehend aus 3 Nigiri und 6 Maki), die ich als Hauptgericht gewählt hatte, war hingegen ein Reinfall. Das Sushi war zwar optisch recht ansprechend, aber geschmacklich allenfalls mittelmäßig. Daher auch der Punkteabzug bei der Bewertung. Die von mir bestellten Getränke (Sake und Kaffee) waren hingegen wieder auf gutem Niveau. Meine Rechnung belief sich am Ende auf 35,70 € (für 1 Person). Das geht aus meiner Sicht in Ordnung. Wenn das Sushi nicht schmeckt, hilft das aber alles nichts. Ich komme (zumindest vorerst) nicht wieder.
