It was a not bad Chinese-Korean restaurant. yes

We spontaneously went there at lunchtime because I was craving Korean food. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is very, very nice. I love the side dishes that are served free of charge with each dish. The mandus with pork were also great. The fried chicken was okay. However, it was a bit lacking in taste and was a bit dry. The chilli sauce was a 2/5 on the spicy scale. However, I also have a slightly higher tolerance when it comes to sharpness. I wasn't a big fan of the chili sauce. The Japchae was very good. Definitely a recommendation. The Bulgogi Bibimbap could also have used a little more spice.

I ordered something to eat and after waiting 2 hours I simply canceled it.

Today we spontaneously went to Kimi for dinner. What can I say, we didn't really know what we wanted to eat. In which direction it should go. Very good advice from the staff! From the starter to the main course to the dessert, it's simply great. Authentic and super tasty!! Very friendly and courteous staff. Definitely very happy to come back!!

A really cute restaurant with good Korean cuisine. The portions are sufficient and it's not too expensive. The waitress was very nice and attentive. (It wasn't really busy though) The only thing that bothered me was that the menu was so put together. Prices were pasted over here and written over them, sometimes entire dishes were simply painted over with Tipp-ex or a printed Word page was simply pasted in so that the dishes (pasted over) were no longer offered. The cards are also very worn btw. Unfortunately, all of the grilled foods I requested were out, but it seemed to me that they probably no longer existed and that they had just forgotten to cover them. Please, please revise your menu and bring it up to date because it doesn't match the ambience and brings everything down to fast food level.

Loved the grill and kimchi! However, the complimentary snacks, such as kimchi, potatoes and cucumbers, were served in very small portions, and the service was quite slow. The kimchi pancake was lukewarm by the time it arrived at our table.

Tasty food, price is ok. Good location and friendly staffs. We ordered the Korean pot and that was enough for two people. Only thing is that place is just not cozy enough for sitting, pity.

The shop is small, almost unadorned but fine. Even though the menu is short, there is all sorts of variation. The best shop for people who can't decide 😜 There is also a lunch menu for €10 with a small starter + drink. The food itself is delicious and can be easily eaten with chopsticks if you have the patience. I like going there 👍

I originally went there for the skewers, but I didn’t expect that they no longer sell skewers. Children who want to grill skewers, take note~ Ordered Guobao Pork and Korean BBQ (mixed). The pot buns are a bit too sour for people's taste, but they are indeed quite authentic and the portion is not small. The mixed barbecue pork belly was very good, the beef felt a little on the older side. The squid is also good, but I suggest that if you order mixed barbecue, you should give the squid a priority. When the pork belly and beef are cooked, the squid is already slightly overcooked. The drink I got was a large one-liter bottle of honey and grapefruit tea for two people. The price was a bit expensive (10 euros), but it was not bad after returning home in a second.

I went to Kimi for lunch for the second time today. Very, very tasty food, homemade (sugar-free) lemonade. Everything super fresh. Service very friendly. I'll be back.

Korean BBQ, ok we know this several times from Asia, there is no comparison. Meat was plentiful and of good quality. The pork belly unfortunately has rind but that's a personal taste. In my opinion, the right grill attachment with a rim for the broth was missing and the "side dishes" didn't deserve the name. 1 teaspoon of kimchi, 3 small pieces of cucumber and 1 teaspoon of sprouts.... Since the meat was served directly on the grill plate, it was impossible to cook it as needed. A single plate or bowl for eating was also missing. The young team tried hard and was definitely friendly, but they lacked the necessary overview, I had to go to the counter to order a drink... that's not possible. Conclusion ..... you can try it, but it's unlikely you'll come back if nothing develops here.

I'm not an expert when it comes to Korean food, but I found it simply delicious. There is spicy and mild food, vegetarian and meat. Kimchi, fried chicken and soup (with beef, glass noodles and tofu) were super tasty. All main courses were served in generous portion sizes. The atmosphere was modern, relaxed and simple, I liked it. Everything was clean, including the toilet. You have to wait a while for the food, but it is very hot and freshly prepared, we were not disappointed. It's a nice change from the typical German, Italian and Greek restaurants you usually go to.

We are food enthusiasts and love the Korean cuisine. This was by far the worst food we have ever tried. The food was so bad we couldn't take more than 2 bites. The service was good. We ordered a Jajangmyeon, it had absolutely no taste. They need to do better.

Very authentic and delicious. The portions are super fair and everything was freshly prepared. In addition, the lunch menu for €10 is a great deal for the lunch break at work :) We always like to come back.

Crispy fried chicken with tasty sauce and side dishes are quite yummy. All dishes are served very quickly but with high quality and wonderful service. You won't regret trying this restaurant.

I went there thinking it was a Korean restaurant, but it was a place with Chinese owners and Chinese part-time workers. I ordered pork rice bowl and stir-fried bulgogi, but both were too salty and didn't remind me of Korea at all. It smelled a bit like Chinese spices. I think you can just think of it as a Chinese restaurant. They give me a lot of rice If you are thinking about Korean food, I do not recommend it.

The boy's service was very good, but one lady's service was very mediocre and she didn't even smile the whole time. The store was very hot, but the air conditioning was not on, and the food tasted just average.

Unfortunately, absolutely disappointing and not authentic at all. It's not run by Koreans and you could tell by the food. My bulgogi didn't taste like it was supposed to and was totally over salted. Actually it was just beef in a soy sauce. The portion was a joke and I had more onions than meat on the plate. The cucumber salad was quite good. My friend had fried pork in sweet and sour sauce. It was very good, but it's also more Chinese than Korean. The service was quite nice. However, I would not recommend this restaurant if you want to eat Korean food.

Anyone who knows authentic Korean food will not be happy here. The dishes are very expensive and the quality and size are rather sparse. Bimbibap consisted of at least 95% rice, the tofu/meat/vegetable content was minimal and all for an impressive €15. I already have some experience with Korean cuisine. The kimchi doesn't taste like anything special and is probably not fresh. The rice is sticky and the taste is also questionable. My first bimbibap that I ever didn't finish. The atmosphere is not inviting. Staff only responds when asked. There are definitely better alternatives in Leipzig, but I was certainly disappointed.

Character of the restaurant: better canteen. Reception of drinks/food: drinks were forgotten, the starters sometimes came after the main courses or at the same time. There were also language barriers; unfortunately the waiters could only understand German very poorly. Taste: average, little meat in various dishes. Price/performance: for what you get, it's too expensive.

We ordered the mixed grill plate and it was delicious! The price-performance ratio is also great. There is a small deduction for service. The waiting times were a little longer considering the ratio and the bartender still needs to practice a little on how to make mojitos ;)

I'm sorry, but the kimchi stew isn't very good. I don't know because I haven't tried anything else. Looking at the number of customers, it seems like something else is okay.

My advice? Go eat somewhere else! I absolutely cannot understand how anyone can rate this restaurant positively... They are not Korean, nor do they know how to cook Korean, nor do they even know how to cook or have the desire to learn. My stew was a really disgusting broth that consisted only of instant gochujang paste, hot water and frozen seafood. Anyone who has never cooked before will be able to do it much better with the first recipe they find on the internet and I think it's a disgrace to charge money for it. In addition, the service employee was absolutely unfriendly, made a real face and put the food in front of me without saying a word. To make matters worse, Prollo rap music was playing too loudly, so I decided not to have another drink after dinner and was happy to be out of there again. Making money from such bad food is a blow to anyone who has any claim to their own work.

Sehr gutes Essen und netter Service.

Es wäre gut vorher zu reservieren, da koreanisches Essen sehr beliebt ist und das Restaurant echt voll war. Das Ambiente in der unteren Etage könnte schöner/gemütlicher eingerichtet sein, jedoch war es deutlich ruhiger und man hatte eine Möglichkeit schnell auf die Toilette zu gehen, da sie direkt daneben war.🚻🚾 Die Kellnerinnen sahen sehr gestresst aus, gerade weil da viel los war. Uns wurde das Essen nach 15-20 Minuten serviert und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Da ich wegen der vielen neuen schlechten Rezensionen niedrige Erwartungen hatte, wurde ich dennoch positiv überrascht 👏🏻 Die Portionen sind großzügig und es hätten auch mehrere Vorspeisen satt gemacht. Das Yangnyeom Chicken (12,50€) und die gegrillten Enoki-Pilze (4€) waren echt lecker! Das Bibimbap schmeckt auch gut, jedoch hat es mich nicht wirklich vom Hocker gehauen 😊 Für Vegetarier 🌱 gibt es auch einige Gerichte, die man zur Auswahl hat wie z.B. Bibimbap mit Tofu oder Gun Mandu (Teigtaschen mit einer Gemüsefüllung), etc. Im Großen und Ganzen kann man dort mal essen gehen, wenn man Lust auf koreanisches Essen hat. 👌🏻🇰🇷🥢

I ordered dubu bokkeum After seeing beautiful pictures in internet and I got something else, which we never expected, see photo. Tastes okay, but tonnes of Mung bean sprouts with tofu is not Dubu bokkem. No mushrooms and no other vegetables.

Waren heute dort essen. Hatten reserviert. Der Tisch war sauber, aber aufgrunddessen, dass uns erst mit unserem Eintreffen ein Stuhl an den Tisch gestellt wurde (wir hatten für 5 Personen reserviert, aber der fünfte Stuhl fehlte) ließ es einwenig plannungslos wirken. Getränkeaufnahme war zugleichs Essensaufnahme nach einiger Zeit. Vorspeisen kamen mit Hauptspeisen zusammen, okay. Das Essen war sehr lecker, es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Persönlich jedoch, fand ich den Service zwar freundlich, abee nicht schnell. Wir saßen fast über eine Stunde mit leeren Tellern und Getränken am Tisch. Das muss nicht sein. Trotz all dem war es ein angenehmer Besuch. Der langsame Service konnte auch an der Zeit unserer Reservierung (12.30) liegen und dem Fakt das (meines Erachtens) nur zwei Leute "oben" waren und eine der Kellner zwischen Küche und Kunden pendelte.

Das Beste Koreanische Restaurant in Leipzig

ich fand den Raum etwas kalt, aber liegt vielleicht daran, dass wir direkt an der Tür platziert wurden und dadurch haben wir viel Zugluft abbekommen. Unser Tisch war noch dreckig vom Mittag? keiner hat den Tisch gewischt, ich hab die Essensreste einfach vom Tisch gewischt… Meine Freunde fanden ihr Gericht ziemlich gut. Ich hab mir etwas mehr Glasnudeln in meiner Suppe vorgestellt und Brühe fand ich für meinen Geschmack etwas salzig. Service war ganz angenehm nett. Preis Leistung ist ok.

Absolut enttäuschend leider. Essen sieht Koreanisch aus, schmeckt aber komplett anders - keine Würzpaste, kein Gemüse, nur Fleisch und sehr viel Öl. Null scharf. Man bekommt außerdem keinen Reis zum Barbecue, warum? Ich war schon bei vielen verschiedenen Koreanern, das hat nichts mit diesem Laden zu tun :( Service war zwar langsam und ich musste mein Barbecue mit meinem Löffel selber braten (ohne Instructions), aber immerhin freundlich, dafür 2 Sterne.

Der Service wird immer schlechter! Das lange Warten auf die Bestellung verdirbt den Appetit. Schade!

Wir hatten das Mittagsmenü. Es ist prompt geliefert worden. Das Essen war sehr gut gewürzt, eine klare Empfehlung.

Wir haben dort richtig Lecker gegessen. Alle bestellten Gerichte waren sehr gut. Kleine Abstriche nur in der Reihenfolge in der das Essen vom Service an den Tisch kam. Wenn man schon die Karte in Vorspeise und Hauptgericht Teilt sollten die Vorspeisen auch zu erst kommen. Hauptgerichte auch zeitlich sehr Unterschiedlich. Ansonsten netter Laden modern und Neutral eingerichtet. Beim nächsten Leipzig Besuch kommen wir gerne wieder

Ein authentisches koreanisches Restaurant mit chinesischen Betreibern. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Für alle die es nicht so scharf mögen, gibt es auch etwas auf der Karte. Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung. Extrem günstig noch dazu. Haben zu viert gerade Mal 60€ bezahlt.

Nichts besonderes. Die Portion ist gut groß, aber geschmacklich nichts außergewöhnliches, ich hatte Reis mit Tofu bestellt und Tofu war kaum essbar, sie Gummi, der Rest ganz in Ordnung...mache lieber zu Hause ein solches Essen) nicht wirklich überzeugt. Gerichte 9-13 Euro und Getränke 3-5 Euros))

Wir waren durch Zufall hier. Der Service ist zwar nett aber extrem langsam. Vom Platz nehmen bis zum Servieren des bestellten Getränkes vergingen 20 min. Das Essen ging dann aber recht schnell. Insgesamt war es okay, aber wir würden nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir haben die gemischte Grillplatte genommen und waren sehr zufrieden. Leider Abzüge wegen dem Service, leider konnte uns die Bedienung nicht erklären was bei den Gerichten dabei ist und es kam leider keine/r um eventuell neue Getränke zu bestellen oder für die Zahlung obwohl wir 10 Minuten mit leerem Geschirr am Tisch saßen.

Sehr leckeres autentisch koreanisches Essen, wirklich zu empfehlen :)

With every experience I had with this restaurant I can say the staff is very nice and looks after you. The music isn't too loud. It's actually the perfect volume to talk In a normal voice to your friends/family/partner. The food is more than delicious and the prices more than ok.
