We were invited here for a birthday.
I don't want to say that there was something fundamentally wrong, but I expect more from a 4.7-star restaurant than rustic, home-style food. I missed the sophistication, especially since the price level gives hope for it.
The service is friendly and helpful, but warmth and noticeable hospitality only arise if the guest is able to break the ice - or if you are one of the locals or regular guests.
I think people here like to eat “among themselves”.
It's not a mistake to come here, but you don't have to.
Personally, I would rather go somewhere else with friends.
Accidental discovery - we were extremely pleasantly surprised, just wanted to have a coffee and discovered an interesting menu. Service was super nice, we'll definitely be back!
We had a very nice evening here. We have often received a recommendation and this time we were able to reserve a table. Although we were unsure about the menu at first, we just went for it. And we weren't disappointed - every course was excellent. The service was more than attentive and courteous and the drink recommendations harmonized perfectly. The boss also came to the table and had a chat... All in all, a really nice, exceptional evening. We'd love to come back...
Nice service but unfortunately there isn't a single vegan alternative here, the staff also seemed very overwhelmed with veganism, that's not possible these days. There are also vegan bbq sauces and steaks :/
My rating refers to the restaurant: We spontaneously ate here in the evening on Thursday (May 1st) and were very satisfied: nice sit outside, delicious food, friendly service and fair price-performance ratio. 🙂
We went bowling and dinner with several families on the weekend. The service is on point, the drinks were served quickly and always promptly after being served. The bowling was fun. The food came closed and was delicious. All in all, we had a nice evening and are satisfied customers who would like to come back. Thank you.
I would have liked to visit this "cafe", but according to the information at the entrance, it won't open again until May 1st, 2025.
And probably under a new tenant(?).
At least I could tell from the local press, even if it was just a vacationer, that one restaurateur after another was "throwing in the towel."
I don't know exactly what that is about. But when you look at various menus and the prices for dishes in this city, it no longer surprises me:
What justifies the fact that an omelette with mushrooms and toast on the side costs a whopping €17 in this city?
And NOT in the Ratskeller on the market square of this city, but in CAFE ANNA!
However, the above-mentioned restaurant on the market square charges €29.90 (!!!) for a veggiburger on their menu... wtf...
Do the restaurateurs HERE want to get rich or what is going on here?
If Cafe Anna had been open, I would have had a coffee and enjoyed the charm of the backyard in the beautiful April weather, but I wouldn't have eaten anything - because I don't support such unrealistic price increases.
I give stars for the furnishings as evident through the window.
Good luck to the new tenant!
