We had dinner here. It was very cozy sitting outside. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. There was a great children's menu to color in, including sharpened crayons! The children could easily identify the dishes themselves thanks to the drawings, even without being able to read. The food is good, home-style, regional, yet still has a special touch. We had an excellent meal here! Absolutely recommend it!

Every room tells a different story, with furniture that whispers stories, and walls that have seen more than many a travel guide. The location? Unbeatable – in the heart of Görlitz's old town, where the houses are worthy of a movie, and you wonder, as you stroll through them, why you should ever leave. The breakfast? Personal. Fresh. And just right if you're not looking for an XXL buffet, but rather honest quality and a smile from the host. Speaking of which: The team is warm, uncomplicated, and helpful in a way that doesn't seem forced, but genuine. Like a good conversation at the kitchen table – only with a key card. In conclusion: A place that doesn't ingratiate itself, but rather invites. For people who want to experience atmosphere rather than entertainment. A little quirky, a little magical – and absolutely memorable. Would come back. And stay longer.

A superb hotel located almost in the heart of the city. The hotel has been meticulously restored and lovingly furnished. The service is excellent. You can tell everything from your eyes. The lady at the reception is very helpful and anticipates every guest's request.

This historic hotel deserves all its five stars. Starting with the very friendly welcome, the rooms are superbly clean, the staff is incredibly accommodating, the breakfast leaves nothing to be desired, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner as well. This wonderful hotel is located on a quiet side street, 5 minutes from the market. Four of us spent the weekend in Görlitz and will definitely return. There's still so much to discover. We recommend a city tour during your visit.

We spent the Easter weekend here, it was just great. The Staff very friendly, warm, attentive, no wish remained unfulfilled! The ambience is beautiful, the rooms are great and the food is even better. Well located and also very easy to reach! We say thank you and would love to come back!

We had dinner at the inn and we all really enjoyed it! The atmosphere is great and you can learn a lot of interesting things about the legend of the three-legged dog and the building from the map. Only recommended!

Anyone who likes good home-style cooking is in good hands here. The food on offer is good - the vegetarian lentil curry still needs some spices - all in all, solid. The chairs - although adapted to the medieval atmosphere - are very hard.

Spoiled by our vacation and the many good restaurants in the Czech Republic, which seem to be open around the clock, we decided to stop in Görlitz yesterday on our way home for another fancy meal. At 4:30 p.m., an impossible undertaking in Görlitz. All the restaurants were closed. Fast food wasn't an option either. You should allow a little more time to find a parking space. But there was a ray of hope: the three-legged dog. That's how we ended up at this gem. Because it was so early, we were lucky to get a table. We noticed that many people without reservations were turned away because the place is usually fully booked. In any case, we had a delicious meal, and the service was excellent.

We had dinner here with 8 people and can absolutely recommend the restaurant! The store was full and the employees were still very friendly and authentic. Ambience: rustic vault and very good food.

A hotel with a lot of charm combines history with modern comfort. It is located in the middle of the old town of Görlitz, which was spared from the war. Friendliness from all the staff is certainly a hallmark of this hotel. We visited the beautiful Christmas market over the weekend. We can also recommend a city tour with the Stadtschleicher. We got to know Görlitz better and had to laugh a lot at the tour guide's anecdotes. We will come back.

Nice place. However, we were only in the restaurant. Nice, rustic furnishings. The old building with its winding corridors invites you to explore. The food is also delicious and served with attention to detail. If the opportunity arises again, we would come again.

We stayed here for one night for the Christmas market in Görlitz. Centrally located, cozy and very, very cleanly furnished. Very pleasant and courteous service both on arrival and at dinner. Food very tasty and sufficient. Price-performance ratio is completely fine across the board. So happy we booked Viatea for next year. We only didn't see one dog. Not even a three-legged one. .-)

Review for the restaurant (not hotel): Quaint, authentic ambience and an unusual/special selection of rustic dishes... unfortunately almost all of the options ordered were totally disappointing. Tiny portions, dry or overcooked side dishes, no sauce for the meat - and all of this is way too expensive. All the best anyway!

The inn is a finely tuned part of the hotel. Every room is t carefully, harmoniously furnished. Nice furniture, the rooms are used sensibly. With my loving imagination, curtains and rods are attached. Sufficient distribution of sockets. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.

That's how we ended up in this gem. Because it was so early, we were lucky to get a table here. We learned that many people were turned away without a reservation because it is usually fully booked. In any case, we ate very tasty and the service was excellent.

A few years ago we stayed at the Hotel “Dreibeiniger Hund” for a weekend and so it was clear to us that we would definitely have lunch there when we visited Görlitz. The hotel and inn are located on a quiet side street and there is currently a very nicely designed outdoor area from which you have a direct view of the Nikolaiturm. The menu is limited and we opted for the pork neck steak gratinated with mushrooms for the impressive price of €18.20. Aside from the fact that not much meat found its way onto our plates, it was so solid and covered in gristle that we couldn't eat it. Our point about the poor quality was dismissed by saying that it was just neck steak. We realize that this meat cannot be compared to a fillet, but a chef should be able to properly prepare any type of meat or check the quality of what is served to guests. For us it was the last visit.

Friendly, attentive and polite staff. Cozy historical ambience in the dining rooms. Lovingly restored historic building. Simple, functional rooms with good mattresses! Ideal location for visiting the old town. Sensitive guests may feel disturbed at night by the chimes of four nearby tower clocks.

How can "only" judge the restaurant, we didn't stay there. We were served very friendly and quickly. The food was really tasty and just something different. We recommend! Price/performance is great.

Great hotel, almost in the old town, about 150m, very cute courtyard for eating, great vaulted cellar, you can also sit and eat in front of the hotel. We were able to use our motorcycles in the small. Parking in the inner courtyard protected by a picket fence, but very cramped and we had to pay €16 for everyone,.....you can also offer it free of charge like elsewhere.

Our condition was very, very great and very helpful. Unfortunately the food took a long time to arrive, after an hour we received our food after asking. But the food was very tasty.

The three-legged dog was our domicile at the annual seminar group meeting. It is a historic building near the city center. The most impressive thing for me was the incredibly friendly service person from Poland, who looked after us perfectly on two evenings.

Very nice restaurant, delicious coffee with unheated milk that was slightly sweet. The offer includes Landskron beer, the prices are also encouraging, it is not too expensive. The staff speaks English and German. The interior of the place is very interesting, nice service. I recommend.

Very nice little hotel, in the middle of Görlitz's old town. All attractions are within walking distance. Parking lot with 8 spaces 30m from the accommodation for €8 per day. I would particularly like to praise the great staff, some of them can learn something from that. The in-house restaurant has delicious food, although in the upper price segment. Attached is another photo of our cozy rooms.

The waitresses were very accommodating and friendly. The menu offers something for every taste. We were thrilled with the food because everything was fresh and tasty. The price-performance ratio is right. We would definitely be happy to come back and recommend it to others.

Wir kommen sicher wieder und vergeben eine Herzensempfehlung. 💕. Zwei kleine Wünsche: Für die Zimmerausstattung wäre ein kleiner Wasserkocher super und bleiben Sie schön gesund und fröhlich.

Ein kleines, sehr schönes Hotel mit freundlichen Personal, die Küche bietet leckere Speisen. In 5Minuten ist man in der Altstadt. Wir nutzten dies schon 2x zum Weihnachtsmarkt, wo man dann ungestört Glühwein testen kann. Die Parkplätze sind mit 7 Plätzen überschaubar, aber in 5Minuten ist man auf einem gebührenpflichtigen öffentlichen Parkplatz. Wir fahren nächstes Jahr wieder hin.

Wir waren hier nur zu Tisch, nicht zu Bett. Der Service und das Ambiente gehen in Ordnung. Aber: Also die Rinderzunge für 19,90 € war mehr als dürftig. Neben 3 riesiegen Kochkartoffeln und reichlich Möhrengemüse lagen 2 Scheibchen Rinderzunge. Da habe ich echt mehr erwartet. Über die Sauce sage ich besser nichts. Die Pfanne mit Bratkartoffeln und Rotwurst bestand aus einem Berg Bratkartoffeln. Den Fleischanteil musste man suchen. Auch weitere Gerichte strotzten vor Sättigungsbeilagen. Das finde ich für die kräftigen Preise unverschämt.

Wir waren gemeinsam mit Freunden zum Abendessen im dreibeinigen Hund. Sehr nette Bedienung. Unsere Wünsche wurden alle erfüllt. Das essen war frisch zubereitet, sehr lecker und vollkommen ausreichend. Uriges, gemütliches Ambiente. Alles im allen sehr gut. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Super an der Altstadt gelegen. Uriges Ambiente mit super netten Mitarbeitern und einer ausgezeichneten Küche. Empfehle ich sehr gerne weiter und komme selbst auch noch einmal von Herzen gerne zum gemütlichen Abendessen vorbei. ! Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert! Qualität spricht sich rum😉

Sehr schönes, familiengeführtes, gemütliches Hotel mit sehr ansprechendem Interieur und Liebe zum Detail und Restaurant mit leckerer, regionaler Küche. Ruhig gelegen in einer Seitenstraße aber dennoch sehr zentral, nur wenige Gehminuten zur Altstadt. Ich empfehle es zu 10 weiter.
