Simply fantastic. They put a lot of effort into this place. The quality is simply amazing and worth every cent. It seems almost out of place for the location. The service is also first-class. I've only ever experienced this in high-priced restaurants in big cities. We'll definitely be back. During asparagus season at the latest. Please just don't change anything; keep it exactly as it is; it's perfect!

In one word: Delicious! The food is right at the top of my list of best restaurants. The service was super friendly. From the very first minute, we felt at home. Stay the way you are! For me and my family, it was a very successful conclusion to a wonderful birthday. Thank you so much! 🪷

My wife and I wanted lunch – barely a greeting, the restaurant was empty – unfortunately, we couldn't choose a table, so we were shown to a two-person dwarf table. My wife ordered ox cheeks, and I ordered asparagus with potatoes and a small schnitzel. After a long wait, the food finally arrived. My wife looked surprised at the very small and thinly sliced ​​ox cheeks and was disappointed. She tried the broccoli and handed it to me. I tried to eat it, but it was so hard I could hardly chew it. The same thing happened to my potatoes and asparagus; it was barely edible. Only the small schnitzel was edible. For three spears of asparagus and five potatoes, I had to pay almost €21, and the small schnitzel almost €7. We're not concerned about money here, but our food was almost inedible, and the prices charged were disproportionate to the food on offer. Shockingly, I wouldn't recommend it!!!

We are thrilled. We were at Gasthof Stangendorf for the first time two weeks ago. Here we ordered the “goose menu” & the roulade with wrapped dumplings. The food was fantastic. The service was very nice & attentive. The ambience is a mix of modern & good middle class. The Gasthof Stangendorf impressed us across the board. We'll be back and give the staff high praise.

The guest room looks great and is inviting. On weekends you should reserve a table. There is currently a wild card that I ordered during our visit. The leg of venison with the dumplings was a dream, and there were also wild mushrooms. The yoghurt ice cream with candied olives was also delicious. Thank you, you don't necessarily taste that it's olives, but the combination of the ice cream and the very tasty honey is recommended. I would be happy to come by here again.

Without a reservation, the four of us ate a very tasty and inexpensive meal on Sunday evening. The ambience and service were A1. We would be happy to come back at any time.

Great, traditional inn with classic dishes that are interpreted in a modern way and, whether it's a starter or a main course, will leave you wanting more. The homemade Schwalbennest beer is a little insider tip. Just try it out and enjoy. In any case, it's worth a trip where you won't be disappointed.

The freshly designed menu is a hit, very chic and clear and the atmosphere in the dining room is surprisingly modern and very appealing. You immediately feel comfortable. We had a wonderful wedding with a very understanding and flexible team. All guests were thrilled by the ambience. The food in particular was a big highlight, delicious and lovingly prepared. We were here for a family celebration (11 adults, 2 small children) for the back-to-school weekend, which meant there was only a shortened menu of five dishes, which we knew about. We had reserved in advance by email and confirmed the appointment again and communication went wonderfully. I can say that the food was very tasty. We had steak Strindberg, the dry aged beef with salad, the roulade, the children's schnitzel with fries, the pork steak with chanterelles and a pancake. I tried every dish and everything was delicious. The service was very nice and the sanitary facilities were clean and nice. I found the cloth towels best for drying my hands. Really great. We'll be happy to come back, thank you very much.

Everything really worked out for us, we celebrated our wedding in the large hall in the inn. Preparation, discussion, follow-up top. The ambience, service and food were very good, the guests & we were thrilled. Air conditioning in the large hall was very pleasant.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal hier und sind sehr positiv überrascht gewesen. Gasthof außen sauber und gepflegt. Parkplätze genügend vorhanden. Sehr geschmackvoll Eingerichtet. Modern und dennoch die gemütliche Atmosphäre eines Gasthofs. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und umsichtig. Positiv überrascht hat uns, das beim Eindecken für das Besteck Handschuhe angezogen wurden. So etwas sieht man sonst nur in der gehobenen Gastronomie. Hier wird wert auf Hygiene gelegt. Bei der Auswahl an Gerichten, der Qualität, dem Geschmack und der Anrichte der Teller gibt es von uns ein großes Lob! Eis wird hier auch selber Hergestellt. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Hier könnten sich andere Gastronomen mal ne Scheibe abschneiden. Für uns auf jeden Fall unser neuer Lieblingsgasthof. Macht weiter so....

Die Preise sind viel zu hoch und das Essen schmeckt nicht mehr

Selbstgemachte frische Küche auf einem gehobenen Landgasthof-Niveau, mit kreativen Ideen und viel Abwechslung den Jahreszeiten entsprechend. Der freundliche Service, der jederzeit gerne berät und seine Produkte genau kennt, wird durch ein schön gestaltetes Gasthaus insgesamt stimmig abgerundet. Man kann einen Besuch im Gasthof Stangendorf einfach nur weiter empfehlen. 🙂

Sehr gutes Essen für angemessen Preisen. Es war alles frisch und selbst zubereitet. Keine TK Ware. Macht weiter so.

Heute mit Freunden dort gewesen,das Essen war sehr gut (Strindberg)und was sehr gut ist,man kann auch kleine Portionen bestellen ...

Ich war hier zum ersten Mal und ich bin sehr begeistert. Das Essen war lecker, das Ambiente schön und der Service auch gut. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir waren eine große Gesellschaft, es wurde Fisch, Roulade, Schnitzel, Steak und Nudeln bestellt, außerdem noch Salat, Eis und Panna Cotta. Alle waren zufrieden. Vor allem, dass es Wickelklöße und Bratkartoffeln gab, war ein Highlight. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir haben am 26.8.23 im Gasthof Stangendorf unsere Hochzeit gefeiert. Die Planung am Anfang war schon super und völlig unkompliziert. Ich hatte den Gasthof vorher nicht gekannt und war umso aufgeregter, dass alles passt. An dem Tag unserer Hochzeit war alles perfekt❤️. Perfekter hätte es nicht sein können. Das Essen war mega. Alle Gäste waren begeistert. Kein Wunsch blieb offen. Der Service war super und die Leute dort sehr freundlich. Ich kann den Gasthof sehr weiterempfehlen, egal ob für eine grosse Feier oder einfach mal Essen gehen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. DANKE ☺️

Gemütliche Gaststube mit schönen Biergarten. Lädt zum verweilen ein. Leckeres Mittagessen. Die Ochsenbäckchen waren Super Lecker. Eine sehr gute Tellersprache und der Teller war heiß. Die Gaststätte ist zu empfehlen. Sie machen sogar das Eis selber. 😃
