Great hotel with excellent cuisine and a fantastic wellness area.

We stayed there with a tour group from December 7th to 11th, 2025. A super friendly and warm welcome. Beautiful rooms, great bathroom, and a lovely atmosphere. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority. The service in every respect was incredibly kind and friendly. The evening buffet offered a wonderful variety of dishes and specialties, just like the breakfast buffet. Highly recommended. 5 stars! Many thanks to the entire team. Thank you and goodbye until next time.

The hotel meets its classification, and the rooms are clean. The excellent and friendly service is particularly noteworthy. Breakfast is plentiful and includes good rolls and bread. The hotel has a restaurant; reservations are recommended for dinner.

A good, solid hotel. We've stayed there three times now because the area is very scenic and the people are very friendly. The hotel itself is very good – the only downside is that the parking lot, which was free the last two times, now costs €9 per day and is neither guarded nor gated. In my opinion, they're simply trying to squeeze a few extra euros out of the guests. I find that disappointing.

The room wasn't very clean (there was hair in the bathroom) and it was quite noisy due to the road in front. Inside the building, an employee was complaining loudly and unprofessionally about something. Parking costs an extra €9.00 per day. I'll be in the area quite often for work in the future, but I certainly won't be a regular customer.

Our tour group had a fantastic stay. Everything was perfect, from the service and rooms to the food. The chef even came to my girlfriend's room every evening to adjust her meals due to her lactose intolerance. All in all, we highly recommend this hotel! 👍👍

I felt very comfortable here, and thanks to an HRS deal, I got good value for money. The sauna policy (only once per stay) is a bit surprising and something I haven't experienced at any other hotel. It also seems somewhat unfair because guests staying only one night get 100% sauna access, while guests staying longer nights – which means less work for the hotel – are being disadvantaged.

Everything was very, very clean. A stylish and comfortable room with a refrigerator and minibar. The staff was very, very friendly, and the adjoining restaurant also had very nice staff and served delicious food.

A very nice hotel overall, with good rooms and service. If you're looking for a convenient location, this is a great option. The bus stop and shops are right outside! Very close. However, it's also noisy, and advertising banners and other things make it bright at night. I had a single room at the front, facing the street. I'm reviewing that here. I don't know what the back is like. Cleanliness was really good, though. 😊👍

Beautiful hotel with a very good restaurant, "Valentin." Ample parking is available and, when the weather is nice, a wonderful beer garden. Can't say anything bad about the service. It was fine from start to finish. One minor drawback: the double bed consisted of two single beds, which slid apart if you accidentally turned into the "visitor gap."

Visually, it's a bit dated, but clean and the staff is friendly. Ideal for a lovely holiday in the Ore Mountains.

We stayed at the Neustädter Hof with a group of former colleagues. We immediately felt at ease and welcome, as the reception was very friendly and warm. And the friendly staff was always there for us with any questions or requests! The rooms are very well furnished, making you feel at home, especially the bathroom, which is comfortable even for those who need a bit more space. Everything was perfectly cleaned every day while we were away. The breakfast was plentiful, of good quality, and very tasty, and the friendly and attentive service was also impressive. This also applied to the evenings in the beautiful beer garden behind the hotel. Thank you for the wonderful stay; we were completely satisfied and can only recommend this place of hospitality!

Unfortunately, the lamp by the bed was broken. I informed the reception, but nothing was done. The service was otherwise excellent, funny, and friendly, especially in the restaurant. The dessert was too expensive for my liking. Overall, VERY nice, especially the room with the chandelier.

We received a very warm welcome. The restaurant, with its food and staff, was also excellent. Unfortunately, the main street was used as a race track at night. The speed limit should be 30 km/h from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. We'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, we stayed too long. I could definitely recommend the hotel for one to three nights. But in detail: We received a very friendly welcome. However, I would offer free parking for guests. It should have cost €9 per day. However, since the hotel has plenty of parking, I couldn't quite understand that. 4 out of 5 stars. After checking in, we found a clean and/or colorful room. It's nice that there are still hotels with bathtubs. That was a pleasant surprise. The beds, however, are much too soft. One star deducted for that. 4 out of 5. The breakfast in the morning was varied and extensive. I would give it 5 stars, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the coffee. 4 out of 5. We booked the wellness area, and it's highly recommended. Lovingly decorated and quiet. Truly relaxing. But not every employee turns on the music. That could be standardized. Still, full marks for that. 5 out of 5. The food (apart from breakfast) was rather disappointing. While the prices were on the higher side, the side dishes were mostly bland, the fries were completely overdone (I was hungry enough to eat them), and the veal schnitzel was way too thick. Overall, it should have been better for €20. So, 3 out of 5 stars. The staff ranged from very professional to overly casual. We give it 3 out of 5 stars. The location is central, but on a main road. The hotel still cuts a good figure, situated on a small river and with good views (though not in every direction). 4 out of 5 here.

It's a shame this hotel is located on the main road; it's too noisy. The restaurant and hallway need a coat of paint, and there are too many dead little flies on the windowsills—that shouldn't be the case in a 4-star hotel.

We went there for dinner, and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The steak was good, but the fries were hard, and the peas looked like they'd been reheated several times, which is how they tasted, unfortunately.

We were traveling by motorcycle and chose the Neustädter Hof. The motorcycles were parked in the underground garage. The room was very nice. A great breakfast. A very nice restaurant with classic rooms with minibars. Service in the restaurant has deteriorated. Despite repeated reminders, the main course only arrived after two hours. It was also lukewarm, and the pork fillet was undercooked. Even with a wedding taking place at the same time, these shortcomings are not worthy of a 4-star hotel. My group of 10 was very disappointed!

The hotel is centrally located in the town center. The rooms are clean and well-furnished. You can get the key for the safe at reception. The service is very friendly, and the breakfast is okay. It's a good place to stay overnight. Unfortunately, you can't leave your window open if your room is facing the street, as the main road is right next door.

A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. The room was very clean and adequate for us and had a well-stocked minibar. The bathroom, especially the shower, could use a bit of a facelift, as there are a few unsightly spots. Otherwise, everything was there: a hairdryer, plenty of towels, a makeup mirror, and shower gel. The breakfast buffet was also perfectly adequate and had something for every taste. Unfortunately, the hotel's location isn't ideal, being right on a main road. So, if you have a front-facing or side-facing room, you'll want to keep the window closed, although the traffic lessens in the evenings.

We, a family with two small children, ended up here by chance. We definitely recommend it! We had a beautiful, modern room. The beds were great. The sauna is a single room. However, there are people who make the most of its facilities. It's very cozy, warm, and harmonious, and the small space allows for peace and quiet. But what we liked best was the food. Whether it was the salad, the venison, or the drinks. It was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was enhanced by the attentive, very friendly staff.

Our day trips started from this house. The convenient location on a main road and the shops directly across the street were very practical. The excellent soundproofing prevented any sleep disturbances caused by traffic noise. The cozy sauna area in the basement, which could be reserved, was a special highlight. We were passing through spontaneously and received a very warm welcome for breakfast. The hotel offered ample free parking, and the check-in process was very straightforward. The breakfast buffet was extensive and left almost nothing to be desired (only the vegetable selection was limited, for those who care about that). Our child (4 years old) was allowed to have breakfast for free, a good selection of hot drinks from the vending machine was also included in the price, and the value for money was very good. The restrooms were very clean and comfortable. We received a particularly friendly welcome and a smile from the receptionist 😊 It's a great way to start the day. We highly recommend it.

I was a tour guide with a group at the hotel during Advent. Very friendly welcome, clean and spacious rooms, praise for the kitchen. My guests felt comfortable.

I only ate there myself, which was very tasty and looked beautiful. My only complaint is that a younger waiter had a hickey on his neck, which was very noticeable to some of my fellow guests. Otherwise everything was fine.

I'm currently traveling a lot from work to different hotels and restaurants. At the Hotel Neustädter Hof I had the feeling for a long time that the overall package was right!!! Therefore 5 stars for the event management, the friendliest staff, where you get the feeling that they enjoy their job and the food was also very good. The restaurant ambience is excellent. The staff in the restaurant also deserves my praise at this point. In this hotel you can still express your wishes as a customer without it being too much. Thanks to the team!

The staff at the reception were very friendly, which cannot be said about some in the restaurant. With the statement "Then just sit there" and looking at the clock, it was very strange. This 25€ schnitzel is also a disgrace, served with these supposed fried potatoes with no taste and no love. The shower in the room had already started to grow moldy, there was dust in many corners and everything looked like it was from the 70s without ever having renovated anything. Really no recommendation.

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Once in summer and once in winter and both times it has been a pleasant stay. Rooms are always clean and smell fresh and staff are always friendly. All staff were able to accommodate my poor communication attempts as most spoke English to a way better level than my German. Lovely hotel over all. Can get a bit hot in the summer.

I absolutely cannot understand the positive reviews of this hotel. The hotel does not meet a four star standard in any way. We had booked a suite for three nights in a complete package with half board and New Year's Eve dinner over New Year's Eve. The hotel is located in the middle of the city, on a main street. Although the suite was clean, it was by no means equipped to a high standard. An attempt was made to create a suite from two old rooms. The accessible bathroom had a problem with the sink drain, which resulted in constant gurgling. The food was also a disaster. The breakfast was neither varied nor of good quality. It mainly consisted of discount products such as rancid salami, cheap cold cuts, low-quality sausage and baked rolls. There was a lack of fresh and diverse products such as fresh fruit, croissants or high-quality milk. Dinner on the day of arrival consisted of a cooked saddle of veal, which was inedible, tough and bloody. On the second evening we opted for the salmon fillet, which was fine. I actually would have preferred the beef with horseradish, but after the bad experience with the meat the day before, I didn't want to take any chances. Neighbors at our table also shared this feeling. The highlight of the poor cuisine was the New Year's Eve dinner. The lukewarm, tough and bloody duck breast spoiled your appetite. When I asked for the duck to be cooked through, it was served to me again bloody, so I refused it. The chef then personally came to the table to get an idea of ​​the situation and simply said that the cooking point was 58 degrees. I pointed out to him that the customer was king and that I would like my meat to be served well done and not tough. However, the chef didn't seem to care at all. If more than half of the guests were unhappy, you should seriously ask yourself what went wrong. In my opinion it was pure mass processing. I also found it strange that you weren't allowed to choose food from a menu, but could only choose between two dishes in the evening. I strongly advise anyone not to book such a package without first knowing what will be served.

There were smiles throughout the hotel and friendly greetings - we felt very comfortable here from the first moment. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Parking and accessibility fully met our expectations.

Nice hotel, at a fairly busy intersection, with clean and functionally furnished rooms. Bathroom with tub. Parking space at the house for 9 per day. The beer garden is beautiful, with lounge furniture and also classic garden seating. Breakfast buffet with everything you need, but also without highlights. I was very disappointed with the food in the restaurant. The hotel's advertising states: “We seduce all your senses visually and culinary wise”. That was a bit of a stretch. Here, for just under €21, we had the "Steak au Four", with a seasoning made from shredded poultry meat, gratinated, with boring green peas and "fried potatoes", which don't deserve their name! Completely colorless slices, without onions and unseasoned. This can definitely be done better and is rather unworthy of the cuisine of a four star hotel!

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights with a group of 25 people on business. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Dinner was scheduled for 7 p.m. each evening, and the starters arrived between 7:40 and 8 p.m. each evening. Main course usually around 8.30 p.m. If you ordered fish or vegetarian, the portions were rather small. The "air conditioning" in the rooms facing the main street consists of a small box with air flowing out of a small grille. That doesn't do much for a whole room. The rest was satisfactory.
