Very friendly and warm staff throughout, beautiful, rustic atmosphere and great quality food. We had the goat cheese and the fish soup as a starter and the vegetable skewers on parsnip pancakes. Very tasty and beautifully prepared.

A beautiful, well-maintained hotel in a very good location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is rather limited and monotonous, and therefore not commensurate with the price. There are no towels at the pool, which I personally find inconvenient.

The quality of the food was really very good. Price/performance ratio is simply very, very good. The portion was really good and very tasty. If that's the case, there's nothing to complain about about the price. We can only recommend ebb and flow on the island.

The goulash with the spaetzle was served cold in the fridge. After I pointed this out, after a few minutes I received what was probably the same plate, microwaved warm, but still cool in the middle of the plate. Due to my hunger, I initially accepted it that way. Nothing special in terms of taste and very little meat. Unfortunately, the spaetzle as a side dish was really inedible even after trying it several times. A bunch of mud and really, really bad in taste. An absolute disgrace. When I was clearing up I pointed out these points, but apart from a disappointed apology and the advice to pass it on to the kitchen, there was no further attempt to accommodate me in any way for this twice as bad experience. (That's why only 2 stars for the service). For a goulash that costs €26 here, an absolute no go. Mistakes can happen, but trying to fob off your guests with something like that is an absolute image killer for this beautiful island and the actually beautiful restaurant. I'm happy to pay a higher price for a quality meal, but here I can only mourn every penny I've lost here. Unfortunately, my worst restaurant experience in a long time.

We enjoyed an excellent four course meal at a really reasonable price! The menu changes daily and offers the right menu for everyone. For us, Monday was the perfect day. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and attentive. The boat is now a must for us on every holiday in Langeoog!

As in the past, we visited Starboard again during our vacation and were, as always, very impressed by the delicious food and friendly service. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation both times, as that's not always the case. Therefore, a reservation (if possible) is definitely recommended. We can only recommend the starboard.

We had a very tasty meal here. Due to the nice weather we were able to sit outside and watch the hustle and bustle on Barkhausenstrasse, so I can't comment on the ambience inside. Unfortunately, our order was forgotten to be booked, so it took quite a long time until we got the food. They immediately apologized for the mistake. So everything is fine. Mistakes just happen. Very friendly staff. Good portions, freshly prepared. Great taste.

Here you can get delicious coffee and cake at affordable prices. A mini golf course is right next to the house. We were served nicely and everything tasted great. Would love to come back.
