In't Dörp in Langeoog

Our favorite restaurant on the island, everything from the service to the food is great and I also get my Kölsch here 😀

We were really looking forward to it, but unfortunately everything was occupied. Since you can't make a reservation, we could have waited at the counter, but we didn't want to do that either. So unfortunately we had to leave without having accomplished anything and hope for the next time.

Great restaurant, with super delicious food. Gladly again. Nice staff who are on their toes.

I never thought that aside from standing in front of an Apple Store waiting for an iPhone, I would seriously wait in line to eat at that restaurant. It's 100% worth the wait every time. And if you want to eat vegan, you should buy a salad from the supermarket. Schnitzel and Kölsch, nothing more is possible.

We were quickly asked if we would like something to drink and they came quickly. Not offering a single vegan dish in 2024 is not up to date. The alternative that was available to the vegetarian meal was vegetables with rice, which would have been okay if it wasn't frozen vegetables. And then a price of 20€? That just doesn't work at all. Even if the vegetables had been served with meat. The service was not very attentive and the plates were only removed from the table after payment was made. all very unfortunate

Despite all the stress, the service remains relaxed with a quick message on its lips. The meat was very tender and worth the price.

The four of us ate and drank very well there. The meat and fish dishes were very good, the vegetarian Schupfnudeln could have had some sauce or something similar. All change requests were fulfilled at no extra charge. It's also very comfortable to sit in if you get a seat. Reservations are not possible. Service staff attentive and very friendly. Prices are typical for the island but still reasonable and justified given the quality. Gladly again.

Everything was great... starting with the reception at the counter... the nice and friendly atmosphere... then the well prepared and tasty food... the service... we felt comfortable and well looked after... thank you very much! !!

Seit Jahren sind wir in jedem Urlaub mindestens 2x dort essen gewesen. Die Preise der weitestgehend immer gleichen Speisekarte sind mittlerweile leider derartig in die Höhe gegangen, daß die Schmerzgrenze erreicht ist. Weder die Qualität noch die Raffinesse der Gerichte rechtfertigen solche Spitzenpreise. Die sind nicht mehr als Durchschnitt. Rührei mit Krabben für über 30 Euro oder Schupfnudeln mit Gemüse für 23 Euro ist schon atemberaubend - auch wenn man einen "Inselzuschlag" miteinberechnet. Wenn dann noch der Brokkoli verkocht und alles inklusive Salat auf einem Teller serviert wird, fängt es an ärgerlich zu werden. Der Service ist ok, aber bei weitem nicht mehr so bemüht und flink wie in den letzten Jahren. Schade!!!

A few people in the group who were there earlier had to wait a long time until they were asked by the service for the first time whether they could have something to drink. Some dishes were very tasty (Indian fish goulash), but the vegetarian dishes don't seem to have the highest priority in the kitchen... A bit unimaginative, tasteless and one dish only consisted of baked frozen vegetables... Almost a disgrace at these prices …

The service was top. The ambience was nice. The food was tasty but far too little. Afterwards we had to go to another restaurant to get our fill

The food was ok, but nothing more. The price-performance ratio wasn't more than ok either. The pork fillet was quite manageable, but there was far too much broccoli. The restaurant should have handled the criticism better. The information was received with a shrug of the shoulders, but nothing more. A pity. We probably won't eat there again.

Sitting in a beach chair protected from the wind, enjoying cyclists and beer, which we got just before the lunch break began. Very friendly here and there is also Kölsch!

One of the restaurants that still embodies Langeoog, unfortunately there are now too many that take Sylt and Norderney as their model and ruin themselves. Too much is approved under building law.

Solid food in a restaurant. I think that during asparagus season, you should offer a homemade hollandaise sauce given the prices. I can also open Lukull from the Tetra at home. Price-performance doesn't fit. Service top

The other really super good restaurant on Langeoog. You can't make a reservation here, but instead take a seat at the counter and enjoy a drink. You will then be assigned a free table relatively quickly. The food is delicious and worth the price. The staff is very friendly and always good for a funny saying. Here you immediately feel welcome and enjoy the evening. Every food that came out of the kitchen looked great and probably tasted the same. We had plaice fillet and asparagus one evening and vice versa the second because it was simply a poem.

The price-performance ratio is totally right. The food is very good and the service is courteous. What you see here is the PORK FILLET KISSE

Yes, I recommend Price-performance for the island of Langeoog is definitely ok Plaice perfect Fried potatoes NOT dripping in fat

We had a lovely evening at in't Dörp on Saturday. Service was super nice and the food was great. I can't understand the last review. The price is directly behind the food. Everyone can then freely decide what they want to eat. After the great schnitzel with asparagus and boiled potatoes I was totally full, the price was absolutely okay. I almost couldn't finish the lettuce leaf with tomato 😉. The meat comes from the butcher shop in Esens, just the way everyone would like it - short distances and quality. If you don't want to pay this, you can buy ready-made schnitzel from the supermarket for €4. We say thank you and would be happy to come back.

I ate a schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and fries there yesterday. 23.40 euros!! Ohh!! But at least there was a lettuce leaf and a small slice of tomato!! I'm happy to do without and will definitely not come back!

Die durchweg überwiegend guten Bewertungen sind für mich nicht zu verstehen. Das ganze Essen bestand aus Fertigessen. Joghurtsalatdressing eindeutig aus einer Flasche. Die Kartoffeln aus dem Glas und kurz aufgewärmt, genauso die Möhren, völlig ohne Geschmack. Den rotbarsch war auch Tiefkühlkost. Wollen es die Touristen nicht merken ? Das Lokal ist immer voll. Ich finde ein solches Essen eine Frechheit. .

Staff very pleasant and attentive. Plaice was very good, as was fish goulash with rice. A beer at the bar at the main meal time and then at a table to eat. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

Nice restaurant, but the tables are very close together in places

This restaurant impresses with the anonymous, cheap ambience of a retirement home dining room, which harmonizes perfectly with the average age of the predominantly geriatric audience. The menu, designed with the sophistication of a furniture store canteen, offers the usual suspect meat and fish dishes with boring side dishes such as fries or stir-fried vegetables at outrageous prices. For the main course I chose a plaice, which fell apart when I tried to fillet it and was completely tasteless. I've had better fish from Iglo. The fish and the bland, overcooked potatoes were drowned with cheap hollandaise from a tetra pack. My companion's pork tenderloin, appropriate for a motorway service station, was served with frozen broccoli and croquettes, which is outrageous for almost 30 euros. The almonds carelessly draped over it could no longer influence the overall impression. There is one star for the friendly waiter, who can't do anything about the food. Conclusion: Overpriced and poor quality restaurant. I have never eaten worse on Langeoog.

You may have to bring some time with you, as reservations are not used. So arriving on time at the beginning of opening hours will secure your table. Otherwise, you linger at the counter and take a look at the menu. Price/performance is right in our opinion.

Tables are very close together, so the atmosphere is a bit loud. Later on it got better and became more comfortable. Plaice was fantastic, salmon with potatoes for 30 euros is not justified. Service was super nice, very attentive

As always, delicious. Even if the price unfortunately went up significantly. Staff very very friendly even at peak times from 5.30 p.m. when the restaurant opens.

The food was super tasty. Children felt welcome. There were even toys for the waiting time. Also nice service.

Zweimal nacheinander hier gewesen und jedes Mal sehr freundlich bedient worden und sensationell gutes Essen bekommen. Der Tisch an der Theke hat uns dabei beide Male gut gefallen, keine Probleme damit gehabt. Leider dauerte das Essen beim zweiten Besuch etwas länger, aber die Qualität war bombastisch. Das Restaurant ist auch beide Abende sehr voll gewesen, das Personal bleibt ausgesprochen freundlich auch bei hoher Arbeitsauslastung. Bilder sagen mehr als Worte.

If you win the greyhound race when the bar opens (no reservations), you'll find space in a mix of rustic pub and country inn. The staff is quick and friendly, you feel welcome. The food is basically home-style island style. Without "on, on, at", but the quality is very good. In our case, for example, the plaice was excellently prepared. Honest and good!

Good fish and meat selection. I had plaice which was good. Ambiance, a bit simpler, but not uncomfortable.

Extrem ärgerlich, machen um Internet Werbung wegen ganzjährig Essen ohne Reservierung, dann vertraut man drauf und kommt an Sylvester gehen 17.00 Uhr hin, normale Öffnungszeit immer 17.30 Uhr, dann heißt es lapidar: ohne Reservierung geht nichts! Nur heute, sonst immer ohne! Dann sollte man das auch im Netz so erläutern und sich zumindest diese Mühe machen, also für uns sehr ärgerlich! Damit sind auch weitere Besuche für uns gestorben!

When I visited In't Dörp, the place was very busy, but luckily we managed to get a seat. For dinner I chose the salmon steak with herb butter, accompanied by a baked potato with garlic curd. The salmon steak was perfectly prepared, cooked to perfection, which was a real treat. The garlic curd was also excellent and was a perfect complement. Only a salad would have completed the dish perfectly, but given the price, the offering was excellent overall. A really recommended place for anyone who appreciates good food at a fair price.

Sehr gut besuchtes Lokal, das keine Reservierungen erlaubt. Ordentliche Qualität der Speisen. Durch viele Tische sehr eng und dadurch wuselig.

Unser Tagesausflug führte uns zum Mittagessen in das sehr gut bewertete In't Dörp. Und die hohen Erwartungen wurden erfüllt. Nur wenige Plätze waren frei. Offensichtlich ist die Qualität des Hauses bekannt. Die Speisekarte ist auf plattdeutsch. Bestellen sollte auch Sprachkundige auf hochdeutsch. Nicht alle Mitarbeiter sind des Plattdeutschen mächtig. Aber Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit werden groß geschrieben. Die beiden bestellten Fleischgerichte waren lecker und ohne Schwächen. Die Preise sind angemessen. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir haben das Lokal regelmäßig in unserem Urlaub besucht und waren immer zufrieden. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und für ein Spaß zuhaben. Qualität der Speisen einfach aber gut und preislich für Langeoog okay. Wir haben uns immer willkommen gefühlt trotz Wartezeit an der Theke. Danke an das Team

Leckeres Essen, gute, offene Weine. Tolles, entspanntes, aufmerksames und schnelles Personal. Zugewandt, humorig und kinderfreundlich werden die hereinstürmenden Gäste "gebändigt". Beeindruckendes Management der wartenden Gäste. Seitdem wir zum ersten Mal hier waren, kommen wir regelmäßig wieder. Danke, liebes Team!

Einfach nur perfekt. Scholle, Bratkartoffeln, Service.. Bier sowieso… super top bei fairen Preisen!!! Nachtrag: haben vom 17.-22.07. Urlaub auf Langeoog gemacht. Waren fast jeden Tag dort essen. Es war jedesmal perfekt. Essen ein Traum (hatten jedes Mal etwas anderes). Personal suuuuper auf Zack. Preise angemessen, Qualität erstklassig. Weiter so 👍🏻 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Verbesserungsvorschlag: nehmt endlich Eis auf die Dessertkarte. Mussten jedes Mal mit den Kindern noch zur Eisdiele laufen 😂😉😉

Wir sind seit vielen Jahren im I'nt Dörp zu Gast und können nur positives berichten. Das man mal Pech hat und keinen Platz bekommt ist doch egal. Man hat Urlaub. Entweder ein bisschen warten oder am nächsten Tag wieder versuchen. Es lohnt sich.

Sehr leckeres Essen, reichlich Auswahl und freundliche Mitarbeiter

Wir waren im Rahmen unseres Urlaubs drei mal da. Das Essen ist gut und das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und flott. Von daher klare Empfehlung. Der einzige Negativpunkt für uns war das man nicht reservieren kann, das führt dann dazu das in der Haupturlaubszeit 15 Minuten vor Öffnung 20 Leute vor der Tür stehen und auf die Tische stürmen sobald der Laden geöffnet wird, man selbst kommt mit kleinem Kind 5 Minuten später und hat keine Chance noch einen Tisch zu bekommen.

Kann ich nur empfehlen!wir waren in unserem Urlaub 3mal zum Essen im Dörp!war jedesmal super!

Die Auswahl der Bedingungen ist genau so mega wie das Essen. Am ersten Urlaubstag da gewesen und auch am letzten.
