Blied Restaurant in Langeoog

That was a truly lovely evening with excellent service and delicious food. For starters, we had a very tasty mushroom soup, followed by plaice and a slightly spicy fish stew. To finish, we enjoyed a truly superb pumpkin parfait and a delicious sea buckthorn brûlée. The good non-alcoholic wines and the friendly, genuine service were particularly noteworthy. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

The food tasted fantastic (I had the "Mushroom Boy" veggie burger), but the fries were very salty. It was nicely presented. The drinks are extremely overpriced, which is a shame! All the servers were very friendly and accommodating.

Well... risotto was too raw. Service was okay. Welcome was nice. Wine was inadequate. No attention was paid after the semi-satisfactory meal.

1.5 hour wait for the food and bad fries, the rest was okay but for the price...

The waitress was a bit overwhelmed. The mojito had apparently been waiting for pickup for so long that the ice had completely melted by the time it arrived at the table. Neither the bartender nor the waitress seemed to care.

A must for every visit to Langeoog. Really good, upscale cuisine. Very friendly staff. The living moss wall is a great idea. Update Oct. 2025 Another wonderful evening with very friendly service and excellent food. Our three boxers received a treat. We'll see you again in November.

At Christmas dinner, one slice of goose was hard and the other tasted like liver. Not recommended.

Friendly and fast service, delicious food, varied menu

Two of us had dinner at the restaurant. Both the fish (VIP fish) and the venison were very good. The dessert, sea buckthorn crème brûlée, was a delight.

The soup and the East Frisian burger were good. I've been there several times, and the terrace is nice to sit on in the evenings; there are also blankets and infrared heaters.

In my opinion, and for my taste, this is probably the tastiest and most visually beautiful place to eat and linger on this island. The service is fast and very friendly. The food is excellent. Highly recommended.

We've been here three times, even after visiting other top-reviewed local restaurants. The portions are generous, and the flavors are captivating. The service is friendly. I recommend making reservations on weekends. The wonderful food perhaps deserves a broader wine selection, but it's nothing that would stop us from coming back.

It was a very pleasant evening, and as the name suggests, we moved on quickly. The staff was very friendly, some of them even very entertaining, and very interested in the well-being of the guests. The food was delicious, the portions were probably decent, so definitely sufficient for people with normal eating habits. For those who rarely get full in a restaurant, it won't be the case this time. But all in all, it was a well-rounded evening.

We highly recommend this place. The value for money is still right here. The service is also excellent. The food is, in our opinion, some of the best you can get on the island. The portions are generous, too, and not the "big prices, small portions" trend on the island ;-)

This year, the song was a fantastic end to a fantastic vacation on Langeoog. Delicious, excellent, high-quality dishes, and extremely fast and child-friendly service. Totally worth it.

The food was okay. The meat and fish dishes were good. The bowl was a bit boring. I have to deduct a star, though. Getting tap water after ordering a bottle of mineral water was a bit disappointing, but not a problem in itself. But charging €5.50 per bottle of tap water is outrageous.

The food was excellent! The venison goulash was excellent, and the plaice was fantastic. The service was quite slow; we waited over an hour for our main course. It happens sometimes, and an apology would be appreciated.

A very good restaurant in this price range. A main course plus a drink costs €30-40 per person. I had the venison burger for €27. I haven't had anything this delicious in a long time. The service was friendly and quick. I made a table reservation online. The menu is available online if you want to choose beforehand. Everything went smoothly. I highly recommend it. I'll be back!

Worst restaurant ever…Frozen meals nicely packaged

If you want to enjoy your food, then this is the place for you. Very tasty. Thank you. The way the waiters interacted with the guests was also pleasant. They smiled and offered a friendly word. Finally, a restaurant that speaks more than just "What'll you get?" and "cash or dine."

Our visit to Blied was a dream. The ambiance is modern and stylish, yet cozy. The food (we had rump steaks and sea bass) is not only beautifully presented, but also of excellent quality and extremely delicious. There's a wide selection of drinks to accompany your meal, with the excellent wine selection truly impressive. All of this is surpassed only by the staff, who are friendly, courteous, and exceptionally attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return!

Our visit began with a surprise. For larger groups (they couldn't tell us how large - there were eight of us), the regular menu is no longer available, but a group menu. There are all sorts of drinks but only nine dishes. Two starters, a couple of burgers, two salads, and two pasta dishes. It wasn't that spectacular, but when we asked if we could have the regular menu, the answer was a resounding no. (We also said it wouldn't matter if the meals weren't ready at the same time...) The meals were just as unspectacular as the menu... Fries weren't quite crispy, pasta wasn't quite warm, and the salad wasn't exactly as described. The cutlery comes from the grab-and-go box on the table, and the neighboring table isn't allowed to push the two tables together under any circumstances. The service was quite good. There were a few communication problems, but everyone was really nice and helpful. Oh yeah: One of the group members tried to order his favorite spritzer from the regular menu (it wasn't on the group menu) - it was impossible...

We ate at Blied three times within a week – the food is delicious, of good quality, and if you like game, you'll find a variety of dishes to choose from. The homemade pasta and the fish platter – fantastic. Excellent value for money, and attentive, very friendly service rounded off the visit. Truly excellent, we recommend Blied without reservation!

Great place with very friendly staff. And the food is simply divine! My boyfriend and I had Iberico pork loin and three kinds of venison. All the cuts of meat were cooked to perfection, super tender, and wonderfully seasoned. I absolutely recommend this fantastic restaurant. At the end, we were even allowed to try the house schnapps. This was also delicious. We'd love to come back.

The game dishes are highly recommended. The food was outstanding.

Service was nice, but the wait times were long. I had an East Frisian burger for €26—a very steep price for a burger that wasn't anything special. The fries were good.

Great food, great service, I can recommend it without reservation

Very centrally located, near Langeoog's water tower. Easy reservation online or on-site. Very clean and well-maintained, tastefully decorated. Two large rooms were available for breakfast. The very extensive breakfast buffet was set up in the back of the right-hand room. In addition to many different rolls and breads, there were also scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, meatballs, sausages, ham, various types of sausage (including venison!), various types of cheese, salads (poultry, meat, Budapest), fish specialties, various types of jam, juices, tea, and, of course, coffee, and much more. We were thrilled and will have breakfast there again during this vacation. Thank you very much. Highly recommended.

A cozy atmosphere and good service, but we were disappointed with the food: The bowls advertised on the online menu weren't available. Visually, the dishes looked good, although the homeopathic portions of coleslaw and mayonnaise shouldn't have been mentioned on the menu. The flavor also needed some seasoning.

The goulash with the spaetzle was served cold in the fridge. After I pointed this out, after a few minutes I received what was probably the same plate, microwaved warm, but still cool in the middle of the plate. Due to my hunger, I initially accepted it that way. Nothing special in terms of taste and very little meat. Unfortunately, the spaetzle as a side dish was really inedible even after trying it several times. A bunch of mud and really, really bad in taste. An absolute disgrace. When I was clearing up I pointed out these points, but apart from a disappointed apology and the advice to pass it on to the kitchen, there was no further attempt to accommodate me in any way for this twice as bad experience. (That's why only 2 stars for the service). For a goulash that costs €26 here, an absolute no go. Mistakes can happen, but trying to fob off your guests with something like that is an absolute image killer for this beautiful island and the actually beautiful restaurant. I'm happy to pay a higher price for a quality meal, but here I can only mourn every penny I've lost here. Unfortunately, my worst restaurant experience in a long time.

Bottom line, disappointing! But first to the positive: the waiter with an Asian background was very friendly and accommodating! We had a soup and the parmesan truffle fries. So far ok, unfortunately the fries weren't really seasoned. For the main course we had, among other things, the game goulash, which obviously came from the microwave. The wild broccoli was completely overcooked and dry. The spaetzle was absolutely inedible - completely overcooked and soggy. We're definitely not coming back! It's a shame because the atmosphere is actually really nice.

We wanted to have lunch at this restaurant. Unfortunately we sat on the terrace for 30 minutes without receiving a menu. When we wanted to order, it suddenly said that lunch could no longer be ordered because a large company was being cooked for. Basically understandable, but we would have liked to have had this information sooner. In addition, two other guests who came after us were able to order drinks and food regularly. We couldn't rate the food itself, but it looked good.

We've been going to Langeoog for 6 years, this year we ate at Blied for the first (and second😉😄) time. Price/performance was simply top! Since we liked the food so much on our first visit, we ate there again for two days. Food and service grade 1 with stars. Nice portions, really good quality and the price was just right. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio on the island is no longer in line, but definitely in the blied! We'll definitely come back next year!

I had three kinds of game with house fries. The meat was super tender and delicious. The sauces are to die for and the fries are super crispy. Has its justified price. Absolute top cuisine!!!

The food was great, you'll get your money's worth from many different tastes here. The staff was polite. Children are also welcome. What we find inappropriate is the fee of €3.50 for requests for changes (e.g. fries instead of fried potatoes). But deducting a star for that would be excessive.

We have been coming to Langeoog for 8 years and visiting Blied was always one of my highlights. Unfortunately, prices seem to be going through the roof, especially on the island. This is unfortunately the case everywhere. But with 6.80€ for 0.5l Benedictine and 24€ for a simple burger with small fries and a laughably smaller portion of cole slaw or 13€ for a mini chicken schnitzel with small fries for the little ones, Blied is now the front runner again. I also expect that everything is in place and that customer requests are taken into account. For me, it was the fries that I wanted crispy when I ordered ("We always do that"), but unfortunately the otherwise well-fried steakhouse fries came as "mashed potato sticks" with a sometimes hint of a crispy edge and no crispy, delicious fries to accompany the otherwise delicious poacher burger (€26). Positive: The service staff are consistently motivated and friendly, and also ask whether it tastes good, but when the shift manager tells me about the soggy fries that the fat is fresh and therefore they don't get crispy, I'm at a loss for words. It's new to me that you would need old fat for this, I wasn't talking about dark fries, but rather crispy ones ;-) and in principle I always expect them without used oil from last summer. Oh yes, I still have to get it out of my mind: I understand the price pressure caused by general inflation, but I find it really bad that prices go up so much and then at the same time the portions are reduced, e.g. the homemade cole slaw is changed from a small portion to a mini portion. Then you can leave it out straight away. The fact that the selection of cards has been severely restricted at the same time rounds off the picture negatively. Too bad!

Child-friendly restaurant, price-performance ratio is okay

The restaurant has impressed me with its consistent quality for several years now. Whether for lunch or in the evening, I always enjoy being a guest at Blied. I can particularly recommend the meat dishes. Whether rump or fillet steak, the meat is super tender and tastes extremely good. The service is trained, very attentive and yet not intrusive. Absolutely fair price for regional and high quality cuisine. The Blied is always worth a visit.

Cooking performance at the highest level, varied arrangement of dishes and skilfully coordinated flavors. Conclusion: “star-worthy”. The staff is very professional and responds to the guests' wishes with the necessary composure. All in all you feel very comfortable. There is a 100% recommendation for this.

The restaurant is very comfortably furnished. I found the friendly and attentive service particularly positive. My homemade beef pasta was great. The pasta is al dente and the meat is juicy. The second plate with risotto and pumpkin wasn't quite as successful. The risotto was far too dry and the pumpkin had been heated for far too long and was very crispy. What bothered me personally was that a guest there was making a loud business call for half an hour. Here I would have liked the guest to be made aware that other guests want peace and quiet while eating.

Schönes Ambiente direkt in der "Innenstadt" von Langeoog. Netter Service, der zurät und abrät. Ich glaub, die Scholle hat er selbst gefangen? Denn die war richtig fett lecker, mit Speck. Nicht so wie die Finkenwerder, aber schon ordentlich. Dann der Wlldererburger mit saftigem Fleisch. Vorweg einmal die Gambas Piri Piri. Die waren ok. War entspannt und ein Ort zum Verweilen.

Das Ambiente war okay, der Service sehr gut, aber das Essen am unteren Ende der Skala. Wir hatten Wok-Gemüse mit Gambas; das Gemüse labberig und die Gambas totgebraten. Ein sehr guter Esser wäre wahrscheinlich nicht satt geworden. Stolzer Preis für das Essen.

I've always wondered why some people post negative reviews, but unfortunately I have to do the same today because I'm just extremely disappointed. A nice evening with delicious food was planned because the menu sounded very good. Unfortunately things turned out differently than expected, the fish pot was unfortunately a leftover pot without any seasoning. The not bite-sized pieces of pepper (always felt like a third of the pepper base...) were just the least of the problems. I found the supposed triplets really cheeky (if you don't know, they are SMALL potatoes), because they turned out to be (probably) leftovers from huge baked potatoes. It was a shame about the beautiful crabs, which weren't on the menu, but met their second and, above all, unnecessary end in the pot. Oh yeah, almost forgot. It would have been better to leave out the cheap baguette or alternatively replace it with really good baguette from Remmers for an additional charge. I've only let food go back once in my life...unfortunately today for the second time... :-( I then ordered the “Gaumens..”. Anyone who announces SO should really deliver... the sugar crust was good, the rest was unfortunately just as bland... and if that's "palate ..", then good night. Very unfortunate. But there is one star for our service person, she was super nice and tried very hard! Thanks ! PS: the ambience was nice too and the Black Island Gin No. 3 was good

Ein sehr schönes Wochenende mit Freunden verlebt. Das stilvoll eingerichtete Hotel bot uns dazu den perfekten Rahmen. Der Service und das Essen waren ausgezeichnet . Immer wieder gerne !

Wir waren als kleine Gruppe im Hotel Wir hatten sehr schöne Zimmer unser Frühstück, Mittag- und Abendessen ließen keine Wünsche offen - hervorragend! Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben ein schönes Wochenende auf Langeoog verlebt und werden das Hotel bestimmt wieder buchen

Sowohl Essen als auch Hotel waren super. Die Innendekoration im Hotel, in den Zimmern und dem Restaurant ist sehr schön aufeinander abgestimmt. Das Personal ist freundlich und stand uns hilfreich zur Seite. Mittag- und Abendessen sowie das Frühstücksbuffet haben unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Wir haben daher schon unseren nächsten Besuch ins Auge gefasst und empfehlen Hotel und Restaurant gerne weiter.

Es ist ein sehr freundlicher Service, der uns empfängt. Die Stühle sind nicht sehr gemütlich, aber das Restaurant ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Karte ist gut und bietet viele Möglichkeiten. Weine sind übersichtlich und etwas auf der feinherben Seite. Die Portionen sind ok aber nicht üppig. Dafür sind die Preise sehr überzogen. Selbstgesprudeltes Wasser für 4,50 der halbe Liter ist deutlich zu viel.

We ate there on January 1st. I ordered a burger (it wasn't cheap). Unfortunately it was served cold. I tried it once and then asked my husband to taste it. He confirmed that the burger was cold. I then complained and the burger was brought back to the kitchen. After about three minutes, my half-eaten burger was served to me again. Now it was warm, but unfortunately the fries (the side dish on my plate) were completely cold. I didn't want to try the microwave again so I ate the burger without fries. We weren't satisfied.

The three of us were guests at the Hotel Kröger for a week at the turn of the year and were also guests for breakfast and dinner at the Blied restaurant. As in previous years, we once again felt very comfortable in the exceptionally beautiful atmosphere. We particularly remember the very friendly restaurant staff, who looked after us by asking questions, both at breakfast and at dinner. The breakfast buffet is hard to beat in terms of selection and scope. For example, many treats were provided in small jars. If something was missing, it was quickly added. The dishes selected for dinner were a visual and taste delight. The wine recommendations always matched the chosen dishes and were quickly implemented by the service. In this respect, we were able to end the week as a week of enjoyment and would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great atmosphere, great and very friendly staff who kept asking if you needed anything else or if everything was OK. I've been to Blied several times, whether for breakfast or dinner, and have never been disappointed. The breakfast is rich, whether with rolls, croissants, etc. The food was always very tasty and good. If you need anything else, all you have to do is let us know and it will be taken care of immediately. So I can only recommend it and would always be happy to come back.

There was also great disappointment with the main course, as the fish was full of bones and the accompanying vegetables were inedible because they were completely over salted. The service is slow and overwhelmed. An espresso was offered as an apology for the poor quality and overpriced food. Definitely not worth all that money.

We had a really successful evening in the Blied restaurant today! The service was very nice, the menu had something for everyone and the food was really tasty! Everything was just right, great preparation and nicely presented, you rarely get game meat, very good! Prices were really moderate for everything, there were enough service staff on site who were also in a good mood and really nice!! There were four of us and we were all super happy! The Blied is our recommendation, great dishes whenever you are on Langeoog!

We were there with 5 people and unfortunately our visit, which we were really looking forward to, was more than disappointing. Half of the menu could no longer be ordered due to a lack of food and the dishes we ordered as replacements were missing something everywhere. Alternatives were only offered as the chef said, side dishes apparently couldn't be changed because EVERYTHING was sold out. Whether spinach, rocket, parmesan, pine nuts, fried potatoes, everything is apparently no longer there! The taste was ok but nothing special and the price absolutely didn't do justice to this meal. We were put off with a dessert on the house, which didn't taste particularly good either. And it also came to the table differently than ordered. At more than €30 per person, an absolute disgrace. Absolute rip off! The atmosphere is nice but we won't come back. There is definitely better food in the neighborhood.

All types of fish out, all side dishes out, no more parmesan, pine nuts and salad were missing from the dishes we ordered, so they were out too. Dessert was on the house. The ice cream flavors were swapped and the Creme Brulle wasn't crispy.

Great location, nice atmosphere, but unfortunately very poor organization. Starting with the reservation, moving on to the poor organization of the reserved tables, to the waiting time for the order. Probably due to a lack of staff. I decided to leave before I finally ordered the presumably good food. Conclusion: In addition to the apparently good kitchen, everything around it can be improved

On December 30th we visited the restaurant “Blied”. So far we have eaten well here and received friendly service. But this time it was a farce. I ordered a schnitzel with fried potatoes. Two small pieces of meat arrived, the breadcrumbs had just been soaked in smelly, apparently old fat. Not a hint of roasting. It also tasted like old fat! Complained briefly, the next portion was the same. How could it be otherwise, the kitchen will not have replaced the fat. So that portion also went back. I was full!! I was offered a dessert or drink as a replacement. I politely declined. Then the bill came and the schnitzel dish was included in the price! At our request! but to cancel this dish because it was unreasonable, it was taken off the bill after consultation with the boss. My husband had fish with a North Sea crust and lentil vegetables. Lots of lentils with a small piece of fish lay carelessly on the plate. In conversations with dissatisfied hotel guests who had booked half board there, we were told that my failed dish was not an isolated case. In addition, the card is completely overpriced for the quality, quantity and presentation. I'm wondering how these many positive reviews come about. Unfortunately I can't add any photos because I forgot to take photos out of frustration. Too bad!!

Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us during our visit. The plaice was extremely tasteless and had hardly any aroma. Even generously adding more salt didn't make the dish any better. Unfortunately, the potatoes served with it were also very bland and had no significant taste. Overall, the entire meal unfortunately seemed under-spiced and disappointing. We were looking forward to a tasty meal, but were disappointed on this point. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing - there was a general lack of salt and seasoning everywhere, and by that I don't mean seasoning anything. Even the fried potatoes just didn't taste like anything. We were really happy and bitterly disappointed. This visit is one of my top 3 flops. However, the staff was very friendly and committed. The ambience was okay, but by no means fine dining.

The website states that the pasta is freshly prepared and is not the classic pasta, but for me it was just soft pamper. The fillet strips were only lightly fried and two out of seven were streaky and inedible. No discounts, no schnapps on the house. Could have been better. Too bad

We were there on July 31st. 22 in the Blied restaurant, after which I criticized the restaurant's services as follows: Service unfortunately uncoordinated, waited over an hour for the food! The meat on the burger was hard and the fries were soft - €17! Price/performance...wasn't right at all!!! They have now tried several times via Google to have my criticism deleted. Factual criticism unwelcome!!! As I said, my review is from July 31st. 2022!

I had dinner with the whole family at the Blied restaurant on October 10, 2024. I communicated the following qualitative and quantitative points of criticism to the management: It is not okay that the children's drinks (which are specified as 0.2l) are served in glasses that are too small and do not hold 0.2l. The spaghetti is floating in a water/butter soup which is unappetizing. The fact that the portion of fries that must be ordered with the children's schnitzel is significantly smaller for the same price than the portion of fries that can be ordered individually. The burger is served on a wet plate so that the bottom part is soggy before eating. The schnitzel and the side dishes were lukewarm and tasted rather mediocre. Overall, unfortunately not quite what I expected from the restaurant, especially considering the prices. Too bad. P.s. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive!

Wir haben bei herrlichem Wetter draußen gesessen! Reichlich Platz direkt an der Fußgängerzone! Innen auch sehr großzügig und modern eingerichtet! Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, geschmacklich super abgestimmt! Preis Leistung war völlig in Ordnung, wir sind ja auch auf einer Insel und in einer Touristen Region! Wenn wir nochmal auf Langeoog sind kommen wir wieder

Das Essen ging schnell, die Portionen waren aber etwas klein. Zudem waren Preiselbeeren auf den Tellern als Dekoration angerichtet, obwohl sie auf der Karte nicht genannt wurden. Das war leider sehr unerfreulich...

Our lunch was excellent. The menu is varied and the ingredients are all high quality and mostly of regional origin. There is a separate menu for the children where you can combine a great fresh dish. The delicious mashed potatoes were a highlight for our 10-month-old son. We will definitely come back and can recommend the Blied without reservation.

Our group of three entered the restaurant around 8:00 p.m. Since no one from the staff took any notice of us, we spoke to a waiter. We told him we didn't have a reservation and he gave us a table for four. As soon as we sat down, another waitress came up to us and asked us - without greeting us - what we would say if she told us that this table was reserved. When we replied that her colleague had assigned us this table, the lady replied that he should have referred us to her. She also informed us that there is a sign at the entrance informing guests that the staff should assign them a table. Neither our objection that we had done exactly that, nor our point that the sign in question was not visible to guests who enter the restaurant (like us) via the terrace, were able to overcome the waitress's dismissive attitude towards us change. Since the conversation didn't take any constructive direction (e.g. take one of the numerous free tables on the terrace, wait at the counter, come back later, etc.) we decided to leave the restaurant, which the lady took note of completely unmoved. Another restaurant made the lost sales on the same evening. I have rarely experienced such unfriendly and unprofessional behavior, even in the service desert of Germany.

We had booked a table with 6 people. The food wasn't good value for money. Small portions and taste like a snack.

Finally a slightly different menu on Langeoog! The curry with chicken was very good, but the combination of pike perch with sauerkraut was not only unusual but unfortunate. The service was very good, friendly and attentive, the ambience was OK, the music was too loud for a good restaurant.

Price/performance at a good level. Ribs from the thick rib - lots of meat and no bones, cordon bleu in rolled form also very tasty. Wine balanced in pricing, spirits as well. Service quick and friendly.

Man ist schon überfordert, wenn man statt Pommes gerne Kroketten hätte. Das Dessert die reinste Abzocke, für eine Microportion Kaiserschmarren werden 16,- € berechnet - Abzocke. Dieses Restaurant werde ich definitiv nicht mehr aufsuchen, es gibt genügend Alternativen.

We stayed at the Nordeehotel Kröger (which we gave a well-deserved 5 stars!) from December 28th, 2021 to January 2nd, 2022. This also includes the Blied restaurant. We were asked if we wanted to take part in the New Year's Eve menu, which cost more than €200 for my wife and I together. We did this too. At this point it was still a Corona wedding. We were still able to go to Langeoog because we had a booster shortly beforehand. This means we had to wear a mask to get to the table in the hotel and restaurant. At the New Year's Eve menu we were amazed that we were sitting at full tables with complete strangers. At that point it was a bit strange and also a bit uncomfortable for us, especially since distance was the order of the day at that time. However, there were only two alternatives for us from the restaurant: “take it or leave it”. So, we were at the New Year's Eve menu. Well, time is up... However, the New Year's Eve menu was a bit too expensive for our taste for what was on offer. Of course, it could also be that we didn't understand something about the concept... After all, all in all, we spent around €1,600 on the hotel and restaurant over the 6 days. – Overall there is a lot more on Langeoog. For me, as a simple skilled worker, it's a lot of money and I have to work a little bit to be able to treat myself to that. Outside of this event, the price was absolutely reasonable! One star for that! Likewise the breakfast! Another star for that! And the staff was also great and on point! Another star for this too! I can't give any more stars here at the moment. But the hotel alone was so good that we will definitely stay there again. Depending on what experiences we have in the song, we will then evaluate it again. – And that could definitely look more positive.

Visit Saturday 5:45 p.m., 09/07/24, table reserved online. Nice service, waited 50 minutes for the food after ordering. 2 x cordon bleu with fried potatoes, cucumber salad and cranberries for €29.00. Cordon bleu small and very dry, fried potatoes very clear, cranberries not worth mentioning, cucumber salad small bowl and delicious. The waitress later asked if we liked it and we could only rate it as “okay”. Price/performance is not right here, knowing full well that I have to pay island prices here. I am a “cordon bleu connoisseur”, for me this cordon bleu comes last in the “Blied”. No recommendation regarding cuisine, service friendly.

Service staff are very different, some really very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, but the portions were very different in terms of value for money. The chanterelle dishes in particular had extremely few mushrooms. Our dish for €19 included 2 tablespoons of chanterelle cream sauce. We found that to be quite low considering the price, especially in comparison to the other dishes.

Freundlich, kompetent und engagiert war der Service, Ambiente und Speisen super, hier fühlt man sich wohl und wir kommen gerne wieder. Würden es weiter empfehlen, hatten Fisch und Fleisch, zart und lecker.

Modern, inviting ambience, nice atmosphere. Very friendly service, not intrusive, attentive. Extensive menu, good selection for every taste. Vegetarians and vegans will also find what they are looking for. We had a burger "Ostfriese" and the vegetable curry with mushrooms and once with chicken. My husband really enjoyed the burger and the portion was just right. Likewise the curry, very spicy, fine vegetables, delicious sauce, good portion! For dessert, brownie with pineapple and ice cream. Warning, whining at a high level, this is a chocolate cake and not a brownie, but delicious! The espresso is very fine. There were three of us, we sat quite well and ate very well. The noise level was okay and we were able to have a good conversation. It would only have been nicer if we had had a slightly larger table. But we'd love to come back!

The citizen with fries was OK, the carrot-ginger soup tasted good. For the six fish sticks with a mini portion of mashed potatoes, I think €10 is very steep. The ambience is very nice and cozy, but unfortunately our service left a somewhat listless impression. The store is nothing for us.

I was looking forward to game goulash. Unfortunately a big disappointment. Food was cold or microwaved. The plate looked like goulash soup. Had no seasoning at all. It's a shame about the 26 euros.

The Bunden Kuh Hotel Mare is the best there is on Langeooge. The prices are a bit more expensive. But for me they have the best cuisine as well as the conditions. Was worth every cent. If I come to the island again, I will definitely go to these two restaurants again.
